World Famous Hotboys Opens Their Scorching Chicken Sandwich Shop This Month - Eater SF

"Berkeleyside reports that West Berkeley’s Pizza Moda served its last pie Sunday after six years in the game. Now, owner Elliot Harrison has partnered up with Peter Fikaris and Christina Stobing (the brother and sister behind The Butcher’s Son) to create a spot called the King’s Feet, a vegan Italian joint to open in early 2020. Menu items will include dishes like a “calamari” dish of mushroom and banana blossom, linguini with maitake mushroom “clams,” and a mock-fish puttanesca." - Eve Batey

Absolutely delicious pizza and a huge plus that it’s all vegan! Truffle Mushroom & Butternut Squash Kale are my two favorite pizzas. Manicotti is phenomenal, as are the appetizers. Hidden gem in Berkeley!

Let me just start by saying WOW! This restaurant really shocked me with how good it was. My meal: Caesar salad to start was delicious. The dressing was amazing, and the addition of fried capers is a personal favorite. Twist of lemon took it to the next level. Manicotti was delicious with some of the best vegan ricotta I've ever had. I kept looking at it trying to decipher how they made it! The sauce was also delicious with a touch of spice. Pepperoni Bianca pizza was amazing and the impossible pepperoni was shockingly good! The crust has the perfect amount of crunch and softness. The mozzarella was gooey and tasted fantastic. We also got a bottle of their house white wine which was served chilled and did the trick. If you're looking for a great vegan option please check this place out. I can't wait to go and dine in.

We ordered from here and were absolutely blown away. We chose the chicken pesto pizza on a gluten-free crust. What we got was super gourmet—The chicken was impeccable, lovely cheeses and sauces, and the kicker was the big slices of colorful heirloom tomatoes. I’ll have a tough time choosing between this restaurant and sister restaurant, The Butchers Son. But vegan Italian food? That’s GF friendly?! Yes please.

I'm not vegan and skeptical of fake cheese, but the truffle mushroom pizza we had yesterday was delicious! Great flavor combinations and yummy crust. Vegan cheese isn't exactly like cheese but the flavor/texture work with the pizza as a whole

Everything was delicious! Tried the Pepperoni Bianca pizza and it was by far the best vegan pizza I’ve ever had. The appetizer (Calamari) and dessert (tiramisu) were also incredible.

The Pepperoni Special pizza was pretty good but, could have used more red sauce. The Pepperoni Bianca was pretty good and cheesey. The Cesar salad was very good and tasty We had the Olive appetizer, what was that unusual taste?

Spicy sausage puttenesca pizza was amazing! Calamari, not so amazing. But for a vegan pizza and pasta place, it's a pretty decent option. Would def recommend!

Can't get enough of King's Feet! Their Caesar salad is good enough that it's a regular craving of mine and I haven't yet found a pasta that steered me wrong. Manicotti is king, though. And save room for dessert, especially if the tiramisu is available!
