Listen everyone!! This restaurant made and served myself and my daughter the best food we’ve ever eaten! They make their pasta fresh daily! They also rotate out about 6 dishes every month to replace with new and exciting dishes. This place is a 10 out of 10. And our waiter was a 20 out of 20. Seriously!

Open concept with a light warehouse type feel with the exposed ductwork. A smallish restaurant with what seems to be a seasonal menu. A good selection of wine and even a few cocktails on the menu. The gnocchi with squash was good, as was the roasted broccoli nice. Staff was efficient and unhurried.

We honestly only tried this place because of the Resy benefit from Amex. It turned out to be amazing! $100 fed the both of us with left overs. The only reason I gave the service 4⭐️ is because we arrived for our 5:15 reservation and they ran out of the dish I initially wanted. It was served to people that were seated after us, so I didn't get to try the beef tenderloin. Then my credit card was charged with someone elses check. They quickly rectified the error. The space is small, but set and flowed well. Not loud, but not much of an ambience. Anyway, the Pesto Pizza was cheesy and so good even my husband had seconds and he doesn't even like pesto. They even managed to make sprouts desirable. Everything we ate was super tasty. So if you live in Reno, NV and you're looking to burn some Resy credit, you won't be disappointed! -TravelXforce

Been wanting to try this place for a while. Sat on the patio and Bailey guided us through the menu and made great recommendations. Had a great Tuscan and Barbera and nice cocktail. Service was great! We’ll be back!!!!

Ribeye was excellent, Seafood pasta was perfect, Scallops were good size. Pesto pizza had a great crust and pesto not overwhelming. Fried zucchini was crispy and fresh. Good casual place to have a great dinner.

June 2025: Enjoyed a wonderful dinner on a Tuesday night. Started with an IPA from Parlay 6 Brewing. It was a hot 🔥 day so the beer 🍺 was refreshing. Their wine 🍷 list was very impressive. Next time, I may have a glass of wine with my meal. We shared the octopus 🐙 and grilled polenta appetizers. I really enjoyed the grilled polenta with mushrooms. The taste and texture was wonderful. I wasn't expecting as much broth but it was delicious 😋. I really liked the octopus too. Would definitely get both again. I ordered the halibut special. It was served with couscous, cherry tomatoes and topped with shaved asparagus. The dish was prepared exactly as described. One suggestion is that they boost the flavor slightly. A few dashes of sea salt would enhance the fish. The couscous could have used a little kick too. I would use some of the mushroom broth from the grilled polenta starter as an enhancer. Just a few suggestions. Overall, wonderful place for dinner. I'd come back again!

In a delightful turn of events, this restaurant has redeemed itself beautifully. While my dining companion’s prior visit was less than memorable, this evening’s experience left no such room for doubt. Everything was executed with precision and care. We began with a house mocktail and a glass of the recommended Cabernet Sauvignon. The mocktail was refreshing and well-balanced, while the wine opened nicely and paired confidently with the courses to follow. The appetizer, a crab cake brimming with tender Dungeness crab, was a standout. It was crisply seared and pleasingly unadorned, allowing the quality of the crab to shine. For our mains, we selected the pappardelle with burrata and the New York strip steak with brisket and fried potatoes. The pasta was silky and comforting, elevated by the creamy burrata that added a gentle richness. The steak was beautifully seasoned and perfectly cooked. Its robust flavor was complemented by the crisp, golden potatoes and the depth of the Cabernet. Fresh ingredients, thoughtful seasoning, and a clear attention to detail were evident in every dish. I will most certainly return.

Over all the service was acceptable. The menu is very limited but oddly geared towards Italian cuisine. The dish ordered was pappardelle + burrata The brisket was clearly braised and boiled, the burrata was served ice cold on the dish. The pasta was likely made fresh perhaps the morning of or the day prior. Overall the dish needs improvement.

TKT is an absolutely incredible restaurant offering a great experience all around. We dined in on a Saturday night. It was busy, but it's also a small space, which makes it feel very homey. It's like you're dining in someone's home. It's beautifully decorated, and the open kitchen adds to the experience. The menu rotates so you'll never know quite what to expect, but for me, that's a plus. Checking the menu online would be wise if you want to avoid surprises. The wine list is extensive. I selected a Barbera d'Asti, which was beautiful. They also have beer and cocktails, but wine is the clear winner here. Almost every table had a full wine glass or a wonderful bottle. Our server was great and gave us great advice. She recommended that we order everything at the same time so that the chef could plan out our evening and we could relax and enjoy our meal--another pro-level hospitality move. We ordered the fried zucchini, the fettuccini carbonara, and the pesto sausage pizza. Each dish was delivered quickly, yet perfectly spaced apart. Another pro move came when the busser took my wife's fork after the appetizer, and the waitress came right behind and replaced the fork without skipping a beat. I would have had to ask for a new fork at almost every other restaurant I have ever been to. The fried zucchini was perfectly tender and not overly battered. It was just barely crusted but still perfectly crispy. The dipping sauce was also scrumptiously savory and a great pairing. The pesto pizza was magnificent. The pesto was incredibly fresh and herbaceous, and it's clear that they use fresh ingredients. So glad we ordered a pizza. We were originally on the fence since the rest of the menu is a bit more upscale, but the pizza is totally worth it. The carbonara was so well seasoned. The pasta was cooked to perfection. There was plenty of pancetta, and it was sprinkled with fresh parmesan. It was a winning dish for sure. I will most definitely be back to TKT. I am so excited for my next visit, and I can not wait to bring more people here. Thank you, TKT, for creating a beautiful and loving neighborhood restaurant.

Such a cute spot in Reno. I was traveling with family on a long road trip and was looking for a nice place to have our final dinner in. I'm very glad I came to The Kitchen Table. The service was incredible, the food came out fast and our server was so kind, always checking on us and made sure our glasses of water were filled. I got the gnocchi which itself was delicious, I just wasn't the hugest fan of the sauce as it was mostly a large pool of butter. However my dad got the carbonara and those noodles and the sauce was impeccable, and my brother got a mushroom onion pizza that was unlike anything I'd ever had, so I just might have ordered wrong for myself. And definitely don't skimp on dessert. We got the beignets that were perfectly warm and served with an incredible yet not too sweet chocolate sauce. A perfect way to end our meal.

Wow, this place tasted so heavenly! The BEST pasta I have ever eaten here in town! I'd rate this place more than just a 5 star! First off, the service was very welcoming, friendly, well informative regarding menu, and quick (food wait). Second, their pasta noodles is freshly made everyday. And lastly, the atmosphere was very lowkey and chill. The perfect pasta place for a date, celebrate a birthday, or just a relaxing evening with friend. I had a normal date dinner with my two cousin-in-laws and it turned out to be a simple surprise dinner. We ordered the raviolo uovo but for me, it wasn't my cup of tea. If you're not a fan of egg yolk, don't get it. I could taste the fresh ravioli but the egg yolk was overpowering. We shared it together and each peace we get we'd dip into the runny yolk on the plate that was leftover. I ordered the papparadelle & burrata and man that was insanely delicious! The spice kick was just right. I also tried what my family members ordered, the tagliatelle aglio olio and fettuccini carbonara, it was all yummy too! When they also ask if you'd like some fresh grated parmesan cheese and say yes to, my gosh so light and fluffy looking, giving the perfect topping to your dish! I'm in need to come back here. Soon!

Yum! First time here and I can already say we will definitely be back to try more yummy food. When we arrived they were already fully booked but we could sit at the bar or at a high table. We chose the high table which was more private but it was right next to the door so I was pretty cold but it was still nice. The place was pretty small but packed with people and had a pretty chill vibe but with upscale food. They only had one bathroom by the front so people had to stand and wait for someone to leave before they could go in. First off, I noticed that the bread and butter was $5 which is wild since they are almost always free at other restaurants. Servers were really nice and food actually came out very fast. We ordered the mushroom and polenta (10/10) grilled octopus with eggplant (10/10) if you would have blindfolded me and asked what was served with the grilled octopus, I would have never guessed it was eggplant. It was so delicious and sweet. Hubby ordered the rib eye steak and asked for medium rare but it was super chewy and pretty rare (7/10), I got the Tagliatelle Aglio Olio which had a generous amount of shrimp and clams but a little too oily and bland (7/10) and for dessert we got the Panna cotta (9/10). Overall great restaurant and I'm looking forward to trying more items on the menu.

Pretty good food! I came here for dinner as a walk in, they were pretty packed. I got the option to sit at the bar or the two high tops which was pretty nice. For foods I had the octopus for an appetizer and it was really good, it was grilled and paired with tomato's and some pine nuts. For entree I ordered the Hokkaido scallops and was not disappointed, I love scallops and these were delicious. The middle had potato's and corn. Came with four scallops and yummy lemon vinaigrette which I absolutely loved. Overall service was amazing, I had a good experience, and really good food.

We made reservations for late dinner on a Friday night. It was very busy. However our table was ready and we were seated right away. I enjoyed watching the chef, cooks and helpers behind the scene thanks to the open kitchen. Drinks were served right away. Nice bottle of chilled Pinot Grigio. My glass was not polished so I had to send it back. They made it right and provided a complimentary drink. For dinner we order spaghetti bolognese and a loaf of bread. The bread was nice and warm, fresh made. I wished the butter had been room temperature. It was frozen and it was hard to scrape it and spread it on the bread. The pasta noodles were light and delicate. The bolognese was very flavorful and meaty. I loved the panna cotta to end our dinner on great note. Keibert provided very good service. He's personable and efficient. His recommendations were very valuable. The atmosphere was a little loud but it was a Friday night. Let's give it the benefit of the doubt. Overall a great experience. We will be back.

Wonderful evening at the Kitchen Table. The service was wonderful and the hostess and manager were so kind to sit us inside instead of on the patio since it was windy. Had a great time with family enjoying wine and reminiscing about our trip to Italy. We share frito misto, ravioli uovo- star of the dinner! Bread and butter, don't know what they put in the butter but it was magical. We all ordered and ate a little of everything family style, scallops, short ribs, pappardelle and porcini. All the dishes were incredible and the ambience in the restaurant was so nice. Will be coming back. Truly delicious!

Had much higher expectations given the reviews. Started with the tuna crudo, which was disappointing. The fish was very thickly sliced with a large thick jalapeño, it lacked seasoning and finesse. We then moved onto entrees, one fettuccini and sausage and one margherita pizza. The fettuccini was chewy and everything lacked seasoning, was just a very average (being kind) pasta dish. The pizza was thick and chewy, with okay flavor. Overall the theme for the night was average dished that lacked seasoning.

We hadn't been to kitchen table since the new ownership took over and we knew we probably needed a reservations. I looked online and my husband decided to call and both were showing a 7 PM reservation so that is what we took. We decided on inside since we weren't sure if the outside would be too warm on this summer evening, but it was also a lovely option.. The food was fresh and amazing as we remembered it with a lot of unique choices. My pasta seafood dish with the clams and shrimp was one of the lightest and freshest pasta I've had in the area and one I really enjoyed and would go back and have again. The rustica bread side (although we wished it came with the dinner) we added on as an extra was fresh warm and lightly crispy on the outside, and we easily ate the whole quarter loaf despite being full from our entrées, but it complemented the entrées wonderfully. The only reason for the four star rating tonight was the chicken saltinbocca was really over salted and too salty in both my husband and my opinion and there were no vegetables or anything else with this entree. I know that saltiness is the nature of this dish, but it still seemed was overdone for our liking. The quality of food was wonderful. The chicken was fresh and tender as was the prosciutto and it was a good portion. We were too full for dessert but we will try them again sometime to try more of their wonderful entrees.

Quality/Quantity - Took my buddy here, and he fell in love with the place. He will be coming back soon with his girlfriend. I think we over ordered... Especially as a light eater. If I only shared half an appetizer and my entree, it would have been perfect. Today we got the following: Sourdough Bread from Beloved Bakery - So good. My buddy almost got a second order, but I told him NO way I was going to help him. I didn't even want the first order, but it was so good, especially with the soft butter. Grilled Octopus - We shared this. As you know, I am a light eater. Pappardelle with Brisket - A homerun!! This was perfectly done. You can taste the quality of that in-house pasta. This was currently my favorite pasta, but you know that because you are following. Gnocchi with Asparagus - The butter sauce!! My buddy ate this up and wanted to order another bread, but again I told him to go for it, but I will not help! He ended up drinking the butter sauce, lol. Affogato - My buddy still had room for dessert?!?! And he was complaining about his weight, lol. Generous portion of ice cream. And of course, too many glasses of wine. Atmosphere - Fairly busy for a Tuesday evening. Because we did NOT have reservations, we were given the option of sitting at the bar or outside. Fairly small local business, but if you add up the indoor, outdoor, and bar seating = decent size. Plenty of mall parking. Open 7 days a week for dinner from 5pm to 9pm. Service - Good. I/we actually prefer sitting at the bar because it usually has the best service available. It also helps that this bar has only 8 seats, so a good ratio of bartender to customer. Price - $165 + generous tip. Reasonably priced for the quality. Well, and for all the drinks, lol. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2021; we will be regular customers. And maybe even bring our better halves next time, lol.

Back again, and really good! Love that they are super quick and have an open kitchen. I also loved the pizza is was delicious. They have non alcoholic beers which is a plus, and a nice little dessert menu.

The service was outstanding as always, we always love everyone in the building they're so friendly and kind and just are all super amazing. The food this time was sadly a bit subpar. We started with pizza margarita and the polenta and mushroom dish and a side of truffle fries and while the fries and pizza were great as always, the mushroom was under seasoned and over charred like it was cooked on a hot flat top at max temp for too long. And we moved onto the spaghetti which was under seasoned and under sauced. And I had the scallop risotto which was heavily under seasoned and worst of all a bit underdone. And the scallops on top just like the mushrooms from the appetizer were hard charred on a flat top or something had a carbony flavor that wasn't great. Besides that though, the mocktails and service and fries were spectacular! We'll always come back in just a little blip. Oh, side note the little lamps on the table were awesome, it made everything way easier to see and was a cute addition to the tables!

Had a great dinner! I chose the catch of the day, which was Halibut. The Best Halibut I've ever had!. The menu said sundried tomatoes, which would have been tangy and great with the shaved asparagus, but the grilled cherry tomatoes were also good and added a fresh light taste. Loved the side of Swiss chard, so much so, that I ate it all myself! It was perfectly cooked and tender. Yum yum yum. The waitress chose a white wine for me, that was perfect with the fish. Thank you! Husband loved his seafood feast, claimed the muscles were a little chewy, but I thought they were perfect with garlicy buttery yumminess. The Ravioli and Shishito Peppers were great appetizers to start off with and Seafood Tagliatelle Entree was delicious as well, I would highly recommend all three. If you're a wine drinker, I paired it with the Cheverny Blanc from France and it complimented the dishes nicely throughout. The ambiance is very nice but it's a quaint place, so if you're looking for a table you need to do some planning and get a reservations in advance (especially on the weekend). They have 6 bar spots and 2 bar tables where they don't take reservations, but I was still lucky to get a spot. I think in the Summer they will have a couple additional tables open up outside as well. The host was very nice and Ari (?) bartender helped with tough decisions since everything looked good.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while. When out of town guests came to visit, I thought it was the perfect time to finally go. It's on the smaller side so not too many tables available. Having outdoor seating helps though. I suggest making reservations because of the limited seating. I was able to get 5pm reservations the day of and took them. I did notice the disclaimer that if you don't show, you are charged $20 per person. That seemed a bit extreme for Reno but again, it's a small restaurant so I get it. First impression was, it's a cute place. Second impression was the waitress was new and the service, especially the drink service was slow. My husband ordered a Manhattan and the type of alcohol he asked with it was wrong both times. But he drank both drinks so not a big deal. The waitress did let us know the chef likes to have all the orders in at once so make sure you know what apps and entrees you want because you need to order at the same time but they do come out at separate times so again, not a big deal. The food though was very basic and bland. We ordered: Shashito Peppers- aioli dipping sauce was good Bread and Butter app-bread was good (enough for 4 people) Bone Marrow- was good. Tasted like it should Flank Steak-bland Crispy Polenta and Mushroom- flavorful but small. I ordered it as an entree but it's an app on their menu Fish Special- my son in law said it was fine but small so he left hungry. Overall, we all felt the food was basic, bland, and nothing special and there is no reason to go back but I'm glad we tried it. I'm sure people really like the place because it was busy and seemed to have a few regulars.

We have wanted to try The Kitchen Table for some time but have never made reservations in a timely manner. You definitely need reservations, as the restaurant is small and cozy with limited seating. I would guess there are a dozen or so tables spread out nicely. The restaurant is tucked away in a strip mall. It is nicely decorated, and the lighting was also pleasant. The service was prompt but not rushed. Our server was efficient but did not interact with our table; she went straight to business, asking for our order. She seemed to lack that warm and welcoming type of service, which was fine by us. Also, note that you should be prepared to order your appetizer and main dish simultaneously when placing your food order. We were told that we could not just order apps to start and then wait later to order our main dishes, as this is what the kitchen preferred. As such, we felt like we had to rush. The food was good, fresh and everything had a nice flavor. My wife and I have gone back and forth about the price. I think it was far too pricey for what we got. She says it may have been a bit pricey, but good food is worth it. Overall, glad we tried but not sure if we will be returning.

Came back here for a second time and this time brought my husband. The chef here is remarkable! We had the mushroom and polenta for an appetizer which has a very tasty broth and the mushroom tasted like meat! I had the catch of the day seabass and my husband had pasta. We shared brussel sprouts since they are my favorite side! We also received excellent service from our runner and server Jenna! They constantly update their menu so we will be coming again soon.

Nice little spot to have dinner. They have a lovely patio and the inside is great too. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious!

Tried this restaurant a couple of days to celebrate a birthday. We made a reservation and as soon as we walked in, we were given a table right away. It was full when we first came in and the restaurant was not very big. But it was still aesthetically pleasing. We definitely took our time and ordered multiple items. We ordered two cocktails to start the night. For appetizers, we ordered the ravioli uvolo and fritto misto. I highly recommend the ravioli with bread. It was so delicious. My husband and I shared a salad which was perfect serving. For entree I ordered the short rib and he ordered the steak. The portion was perfect and both dishes were great. My short rib wasn't as tender as I wanted but, still yummy. We ended with the smore dessert. Overall, the food was amazing and the staff were accommodating. The price range is definitely high up but the quality of food was great.

We made reservation for the wrong night - the hostess was very accommodating and tried to fit us in. They were busy on a Tuesday night and I've read every night . We will be back. It's nicely decorated with a warm feel. The aroma from the kitchen was heartwarming - mmm . Like home cooking at grandmas house . The menu is my kind of love . This used to be one of our favorite restaurants in Reno. I think there are new owners, and the quality has declined so much. The food has zero flavor now, and the ingredients are clearly subpar. All four of us were incredibly disappointed with our meals. I can't recommend anyone goes here anymore sadly.

We had dinner at The Kitchen Table in Reno last weekend and, unfortunately, it was a mostly disappointing experience. The space feels way too small for the number of tables, and the noise level was exceptionally loud, making it hard to have a conversation. Service was very slow, and when our entrées finally arrived, they were stone cold. Two of the pasta dishes were overcooked, clumped together, and nearly inedible--and also cold. The pizza was so cold that the cheese wasn't even melted. It felt like the food had been sitting too long before being served. The kitchen appeared undersized for the number of guests, both inside and on the patio. And there was only one bartender, who, while doing his best, was painfully slow--we literally watched him make each drink one at a time, and it took forever. For the price point, we expected much better service, food, and ambiance. Sadly, we won't be rushing back.

The Kitchen Table is my top choice for special occasions. The elegant, dimly lit setting creates such an intimate atmosphere, and the staff are always professional, friendly, and attentive. The carbonara is a standout--amazing quality, rich flavor, and worth every visit.

My party dined here on Christmas Eve and we're not expecting the level of service and quality we were provided all night! Upon walking in, the ambience was festive and subtle. It was elegant and warm. We seated immediately and greeted by our server Jenna, who told us the specials for the night. Jenna was incredible all night, she gave us great service and was extremely friendly. We all loved our dishes . We got the cannelloni with brisket and the pesto pasta with peas. We all also got wine and cocktails, which were all fabulous! And we ended the night with the s'mores dessert which was divine. I thoroughly enjoyed myself here and would highly recommend stopping in for great service and a memorable meal!

Enjoyed dinner for 2 here on a Saturday night. Service was excellent, our server Bailey was very knowledgeable on the menu and so kind! It was a full house but nothing felt too cramped or slow. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer, a salad, 2 pasta dishes and the beignets. Everything came out timely.

This was our second visit and we will certainly be back. Well stocked wine cellar with regional and international wines. Not a huge menu but everything we have tried has been fantastic. Tables are generally set up for four patrons. I recommend you call ahead for reservations. As they only are open for dinner

I've loved The Kitchen Table for years, and this visit was decent. Everything was exceptional, with the exception of the catch of the day's presentation. It was a "pile" of food for $35. I'd appreciate a little more effort for fine dining prices on a market price entree from the ocean. My visit will be remembered as a top-notch tipping experience for the service staff.

This has been on my list for a while but I never made it out until recently. I came here with a group of girlfriends and we had the best time sharing appetizers, a salad, bites of our entrees, and dessert. Everything was great! As an added bonus, the mocktail options made it extra enjoyable for those of us who don't drink alcohol. I was back within a few weeks and tried the octopus, carbonara, and my bf had the gnocci-- which was the favorite of the evening between the two.

Service is outstanding we had a large party and in this intimate space they handled everything exceptionally well! Plenty of parking outside and this place is known for homemade pasta. I chose fish which was ok halibut not my favorite or rice but beautiful presentation. Good selection of wines and cocktails. We selected the recommended wine from our server and loved it!

I haven't been since the new management came in and I was pleasantly surprised that nothing changed. Our pizza was delicious and so was our pasta. Can't wait to go back

The extra 3% Living Wage charge on our final bill was a mystery, as you would assume that it goes back to the server, but we weren't sure. I'm fine with reasonably explained charges, which this was not. Moving on...... +/- 1. We sat outside and the street noise was bit distracting. Checking out the inside on this high occupancy night, I think we made the right choice. 2. Maybe a little pricey (for Reno). I was also on the short end of the 50/50 check at the end (see below), including the alcohol tab, that I hardly dented. PROS 1. Comfortable patio seating on a very pleasant Saturday evening. 2. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and attentive wait staff. 3. I was the "cheap date" of the 4 of us as I ordered a really good pesto pizza, a single beer, and coffee at the end. Gayle and our friends all ordered the same thing: Martinis, a bottle of wine for 3, the catch of the day (Halibut) and Beignets. And it was all very good and well presented. Portions were generous enough in that Halibut was taken home and I should have left a couple slices on the plate for later. For me, there was no room for dessert. 4 Our reservation mentioned that our seating was 90 minutes, which (outside of Europe) is plenty of time. However, our conversations sort of took off, until I mentioned that we were 15 minutes over time and it was time for me and Gayle to drive back to Genoa (via Virginia City to avoid the David Fire-related road closures), Restaurant staff were very gracious regarding our lingering, especially considering that this was a very busy night for them.

$10 for club soda Receipts don't lie! We had a nice meal (food was good, server was nice). But what will recall is being charged for a refill of club soda from a tap. This was not fancy bottled sparkling water. $5 is already expensive but can accept that. Being charged for a refill. That's ridiculous!

The pasta was good. The wine list was excellent. The service was very unprofessional. We gave our name for the reservation. The hostess dithered around a bit, then said , 'It's like playing Jenga. People stay longer than you think they will.' Not something you should say out loud to a guest. When we were seated we were told that we would need to order everything at once. No ordering cocktails while we read the menu. So, cocktails, wine, apps, entrees all at once. Clearly more geared to their convenience than our dining experience. Several people came to the table during the meal to clear plates, replace silverware, pour water. We were talking with our friends and they spoke right through us, interrupting us every time. Again, it was more about their convenience than our dining experience. At one point someone reached over my husband's plate while he was cutting his food to pour water in my glass. He had to put down his utensils. If you just want a good plate of pasta it's fine. But don't go here for a nice dining experience

Delight servers, atmosphere and food. Bring your appetite! And don't forget to make res - this little place fills up fast!

Just another reason to love the Reno food scene--The Kitchen Table never disappoints. Everything is so fresh, the pasta is absolutely delicious, cocktails are spot-on, and the staff is always amazing. Every visit feels like a treat, and we always leave already planning our next one.

We went to celebrate for our anniversary and we were welcomed immediately as we entered. Since we have never been here before, we looked on their website to get an idea of what we might want to try. Unfortunately when we browsed the menu at our table, the menu was changed. The server explained they change their menus every 6-8 weeks. Our server was friendly and attentive to refilling our glasses, taking our orders, clearing dishes, and packing our leftovers. We tried out their calamari, which was nice and light with a little kick to it. My husband really enjoyed their tuna poke appetizer. My daughter loved their cranberry mocktail, and ordered two. She also enjoyed the mushroom pizza; it was her favorite. For entrees we tried their tagliatelle with Dungeness crab and the tagliatelle aglio olio. Yummy and lightly flavored. Their entrees looked on the smaller side but by the end we were so full, we couldn't try out any desserts.

I can't stay away!!! We ordered the cannelloni, gnocchi and fried zucchini this time. Everything was so fresh and absolutely delicious!

My review is for their to go menu and services. You can order and pay online through their website, which was very convenient if you don't want to deal with trying to make reservations or don't want to wait for a table. I selected the time of pick up my order and upon my arrival, my food was ready. My order included an order of the fritto misto appetizer and their fettuccini carbonara. The to go portions were nice size, and the food was delicious. The fritto misto included various lightly battered veggies, seafood, and when dipped in the sauce was quite tasty. The fettuccini was cooked perfectly, nice chewiness to the noodles, and the pancetta gave it nice flavor, while the egg yolk gave it perfect creaminess. Delicious! I plan to go back with my daughters to try other items on their menu and hopefully dine in to enjoy the ambiance of this small little restaurant.

I used to come here all the time and it felt like everyone knew me. I was friends with the waiters, bartender and the owners. I hadn't been in a few months and I didn't recognize a single person which was a bit sad. The food was still just as delicious but the atmosphere just felt a little bit off. Good chance it's because before it felt so familiar and now the people are different. Still recommend. Pasta still is homemade and pizza is still fantastic.

We've been searching for an Italian Restaurant in town that lives up to my Italian-American partner's east coast standards, and we FINALLY found one that (though isn't east coast Italian) he'd actually come back to! The Kitchen Table was a pleasant experience and my dishes were delicious! The chorizo and poached egg salad was very well balanced with a delicate mix of flavors and textures, none of which overpowered the other. I loved the fact that it was really different from anything I'd ever tried or seen on another menu before. My partners grilled octopus was also very good. Well cooked and flavorful. For my entree I had the paparalle and brisket at our server's recommendation. I normally love veggies so this wouldn't be my usual pick but it was SO good! The pasta was fresh and perfectly cooked. The brisket was tender and the burrata lent a beautiful creaminess that balanced the spice of the sauce. Our desert (panna cotta) was good-- not amazing, but it was refreshing. I liked the fact that it wasn't overly sweet. (More berries would've been great!)

Everything is amazing about this place! From the super easy way to reserve a table to the amazing pasta and food combinations they have. We couldn't be more happy with our decision to dine at The Kitchen Table! A hidden gem of Reno for sure!

Phenomenal pasta! There aren't too many places in town that serve handmade pasta and dang is it good. I had the fettuccine carbonara and it is without a doubt the best carbonara I've had in Reno. We also ordered the crispy brussel sprouts and the broccolini and they were excellent. Cocktails are great too. My family members ordered the cannelloni, the pork chop, and the pappardelle and everyone said their meal was delicious. I wish I had taken photos but we scarfed everything down too fast. Service was fast and friendly and the restaurant is very cute. I'd recommend a reservation because this restaurant can get pretty packed. I can't wait to eat here again.

TLDR: Great fettuccini carbonara. Decent gnocci I love that this place uses handmade pasta, and it really shows! The fettuccini had a great chew. My wife thought it was too hard, but I thought it was perfect. She likes her noodles more soft anyway. And I liked the sauce a lot. Most carbonaras are wayyyy too creamy and too filling. But this sauce was light, had a hint of wine. The ham brought just the right amount of salt. It was a GREAT dish. My gnocchi was... ok. I didn't like the burrata. I'm not sure, but i guess it's supposed to be served cold. However, all it did was water down and cool the pasta sauce. The sauce tasted like regular marinara. It just didn't have that POP I was looking for. We also ordered a flourless chocolate s'mores cake. It wasn't bad! It didn't have the crumble in a regular cake. But the chocolate flavor was really there. Some parts of the toasted marshmallow was a bit too burnt. but some parts were nicely bruleed. Had a nice crunch. But the too burnt parts were bitter. Overall, some mistakes, but in general the dessert was pretty good. The wait staff was attentive... coming around often to refill our glasses. We sat next to the kitchen, and was surprised to see only 2 chefs there. It's a small place, so I would probably make reservations. We came on a Monday so it was pretty light, luckily. All in all, a cozy Italian place. I will definitely want to come back, but I'd order something other than gnocchi.

We visited The Kitchen Table for our anniversary dinner. The restaurant itself is a lot smaller than I expected. There are only a few tables inside and about 5 tables out on the patio. We ordered two cocktails and an order of the fried zucchini and bread to start off. The cocktails were strong and tasty. The fried zucchini was just okay in my opinion. They tasted a bit too much like undercooked zucchini, but the sauce it was served with had enough flavor to make up for it. The bread was the perfect starter, but I was surprised that bread and butter was not complementary. For our main dishes, we got the cannelloni and the shrimp of the day. The cannelloni was one of my favorite things I have ever eaten. The flavors all worked so well together and I was so glad I ordered it. The catch of the day was served with black rice and peas, but the whole dish lacked flavor. We ended the night with the s'mores dessert, which was delicious! The service at The Kitchen Table also missed the mark. Our waitress wasn't bad by any means, but she seemed inexperienced. At one point, a bug flew into my cocktail and when I pointed it out, I wasn't offered a new drink. The waitress was taking care of all 5 tables in the patio area and we overheard her make several mistakes, forget dishes, and misplace another diner's credit card. Ah the end of the day, it wasn't anything too major, but for this type of restaurant, I would have expected slightly better service. Overall, the food at The Kitchen Table was hit or miss. You just have to know what to order. I decided to order the cannelloni after reading other Yelp reviews that said certain dishes were disappointing so I highly recommend checking what dishes folks say are worth your time!

What a lovely spot! It's perfect for hanging out with friends and family in small groups. I tried their signature chicken, and it was absolutely delicious! Oh, and I can't forget to mention the cosmopolitan - it was hands down the best I've ever had! Thank you for the wonderful experience!
