"Kolache Shoppe—not to be confused with The Original Kolache Shoppe—has four spots around town, including The Heights. It feels like each shop sells hundreds of different kolaches with so many buoyant little balls of baked dough packed into the pastry counter. Apart from stellar seasonal specials, like biscoff latte or s’mores with a giant torched marshmallow, the quintessential sausage and cheese bread-to-filling ratio is too high, so it eats more like a roll than a kolache. But if you want variety, Kolache Shoppe has any kind you can conceive. photo credit: Kolache Shoppe photo credit: Kolache Shoppe photo credit: Kolache Shoppe photo credit: Kolache Shoppe photo credit: Kolache Shoppe" - Chelsea Thomas

Unexpected surprise!! The sausage and egg croissant was made to order!! I love that it wasn’t just premade sitting out on display. And it was pretty big! I didn’t take a picture bc it smelled so good and I ate it :)

I used to get breakfast from this location many years ago .I decided to go back to that side of town since I moved and I really enjoyed the kolaches they USE to make..I honestly did not try any of the food I purchased. I threw the food away as soon as I left. The reason was this lady that was assisting getting the order was wearing gloves .The entire time she was wearing gloves. When she touched the food when she opened the register and counted our money and handed it back to us. The lady never changed the gloves. That is cross contamination and is gross. I have no idea what else she touched. That is gross.

This is absolutely one of my favorite kolache places in the entire world. My favorite is the pastrami. I absolutely love all of the flavors as well. And those cinnamon rolls are the best in the world probably. Just make sure you eat them the same day! The service is great, that food is great, the desert is great everything about this place is great. A gem in the hood is a great description!

Yelp
i love coming to this place, i often want kolaches for breakfast but i normally sleep in late so most places are closed by the time i wake up, but kolache shoppe is open til 1 so it's perfect for me. so far everything i've tried from here is soooo good, especially the croissants and everything is reasonably priced! on top of that the lady who works there is so nice every time i come

Yelp
I haven't been here in years! It has changed quite a bit since I was here last. This was the first kolache shop in the area, it has been in operation since the 70's. They seem to be half kolache and half doughnut these days, and they no longer have fruit kolaches! I got a sausage and cheese and a cinnamon roll, they were good, but not as good as they were when I was a kid.

Yelp
As a young child, my father took me to the Kolache Shop and some thirty some odd years I am still going to the Kolache Shop. I no longer live in Texas, but make a trip to the Kolache Shop every single time I visit the Houston area. Even though the owners have changed in last few years, they maintain the original recipes. The sausage kolaches can't be missed. The cottage cheese kolaches are my second favorite. I have been known to grab two dozen to carry with me back on an airplane to share with my friends and family in another state. This is a don't miss if you are anywhere near the Pasadena area. It's a bit tricky to find, but worth the trip.
