The Krug Room

One of a kind experience, the course is paired with 4 glasses of champagne (but 2 were the same) Service was excellent but food wise a little underwhelming except for the dessert which was outstanding in both taste and presentation. Personally found some of the dishes quite salty and lacks depth in flavors. Intimate dining experience serving only 8 parties at one time but can get awkward as there’s no music you can easily overhear other people’s conversation. Menu changes from time to time. Overall worth trying once for the experience.

The visit to Krug Room was truly a unique culinary journey. The room is beautifully appointed to re-create the intimate surroundings of a train carriage. For those who love champagne - it’s a must as the meal features various varieties. The summer tasting menu ( which changes every season) is composed of beautifully presented, well executed dishes that brings out the umami of fresh and sustainable ingredients. Our favorite dish is the Krug - lobster 🦞, uni, and caviar - so refreshing as a starter! Each dish is carefully designed and introduced by the Executive Chef Simon himself. Our waiter , Ryan, pampered us with the most attentive and warm service throughout the evening. It’s my second visit, but the impeccable experience will make me keep coming back! Bravo to Krug Room team!

This restaurant has been on our bucket list for years. The food was excellent though some of the dishes had too many elements. And there was just too much food in proportion to the amount of Krug given. The set menu comprises of 4 glasses of Krug over a set menu of 10 dishes. I think they could've allowed a half glass more per stage. 1 glass to last over 2 - 3 courses seemed a bit stingy. If I compare it to the dinners we've had at French Laundry or Vue de Monde, it was not in the same league. The plastic flowers in the dining room were tacky. Not something I would associate with Krug. Service by Ryan was lovely.

Food delicious, service superb. Love the new arrangement where smaller parties can book without privatizing the entire room. 11 course set came with 4 champagnes - Krug, of course. Plating size was perfect - despite the number of courses, didn't come out overly stuffed. Will be back

A flawless dining experience. We enjoyed the Spring menu as a private party. The 9 course menu was impeccable, food was creative and ludicrously tasty. The waiters and executive chef who introduced each meal were delightfully charming. The ambience and decor is also wonderful, if Google gave me the option I'd give this 100/100, truly faultless.

Special dining experience with Krug as theme, located in a beautiful secret room, five stars service, food and wine portion was good but taste was just average.

Lovely atmosphere with festive decoration. Service is excellent. But food is just ok. Most dishes are quite salty for me especially the tartare, pigeon and steak. Cooking skill of the Kagoshima A4 steak is good. However quite salty. One more comment on my chair. I couldn't sit on it without a cushion. Pls try my feeling by sitting on it.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here. There were only 3 of us to enjoy the great food, and wonderful champagnes. The chef came to prepare some dishes at the table, and to talk us through the specifics of the dish. It was a unique experience, and one I am very glad that I had.

Being the only remaining Krug room left in Mandarin Oriental group, it was very special. Picture yourself in a small room that is positioned inside the kitchen so you can see the food being prepared. The room is decorated according to the season, cabinet of vintage Krug champagne and a Single table that sits 10-12 ppl. Degustation of 12 dishes, I'm not going to bore you with how exceptional good the food is and Krug Grande Curvée and Krug Vintage 1998 contrast with the food etc. The highlight for me has to be "the picnic" dessert... feels like something Heston Blumenthal would do. A memorable "out of this world" experience, at a steep cost (2x $ than say Pierre in MO) but it is by far not your everyday degustation experience!!!
