"Lash is a dark, dingy dance club in Downtown LA with a low-key bar and some tables out front - but walk straight past all that and head to the back room, where you’ll find a warehouse-sized dancefloor and a bar serving mixed drinks that are basically just pint-glass-sized shots. There are DJs every Friday and Saturday, and they’ve also got themed nights throughout the week - everything from drag night, to ’90s R&B, to the rather self-explanatory “Party. Anthems. Only.” Be warned: There’s a high probability you and whatever group you go with will get invited to after-hours drinks at a stranger’s apartment." - brett keating

Raef was soooo awesome. He welcomed us with open arms and made us feel like home. His service was outstanding and attended to our every need. Also would love to see his secret protein seltzer on the menu next time it would be a smash hit for the bar!

Google
loved it! glad to see others out there enjoy City Pop like i do! drinks were good too. i hope they do Citypop again! you dont have to wear your mask if vaccinated, very fun and lively even if u go alone like i did! Owner was very nice man too!

Google
Cool place. I don't really go to clubs, but I really had a good time. The people who run the place are chill. They had a 90s night, hip hop in the front, Bjork in the back. Decent price drinks and there is a happy hour.

Google
Great place to catch some local deejay and wiggle to straight down tempo remixes of your favorites songs. Front and back bar with friendly staff. Stays clean. Amazing lighting, all my pics look cool. Sort of looks like the movie Drive. .

Google
Drink prices are kinda high but they have good choices of beers and mixed drinks. Cool interior and spacious restrooms. Some security guards are hot headed and pushy but others are very cool and level minded. Love the goth nights 🖤🕸🕷

Google
The backroom is a great place to dance. Nice door staff. $7-$10 parking in adjacent lot (which I don't mind paying since there's no cover on the nights I go). However, if that lot is full, ur kinda screwed.

Google
Dope spot. Each night is different. They update their IG frequently so you can know what you’re getting yourself into prior.

Went on a Sunday night. They were playing goth on one side and a mix of noisedarkmetalgrunge? I'm not sure what genre it was, though it was pretty decent. The crowd is pretty laid back. Funky hairdos, dark to eccentric to trendy to casual clothing, there was a guy in a suit hanging out with a guy in a beanie and a kilt so you can't really blame me for not knowing how to categorize the attire. I would say mid 20s to mid 30s age range. I got the vibe that you could dance how you feel like and no one would judge you. The bar selection wasn't so bad and not too pricey. Location is a little iffy but once you get past the gate you shouldn't worry.

Yelp
Well my friend text last night and says she wanted to try this place mainly because her friend DJs there. I literally was already for bed so I said why not. When I get there the parking lot was full. Went around block to another parking lot and that one was full too. There was valet but they were taxing big time, and I didn't want to do it just in case I didn't like the place. Needless to say going around the block a few times I lucked out and got a spot in the front of this place. Went inside and they were charging $5 to get it. That's definitely not bad at all. So this place has a cute outside area with plenty of seating. When you go in there are two rooms and they both have different DJs & music. The first room was playing funk, disco, 80s, cumbia, new wave, and indie. The back room was hip hop. The music was great in both rooms and no one really sitting down. Mainly dancing. Great diversity groovy vibe! The front rooms A/C was going in an out so; it felt like a sauna. If you were dancing you were definitely drenched. The walls have cool artwork. Mainly anime and Godzilla. The bathroom was definitely something to be said for. They didn't smell bad just paper all around. The back room is definitely spacious compared to the 1st. The bartenders are amazing and super attentive. Drinks aren't expensive. Someone bumped into to me and I went to the bar to get a napkin to wipe my hands, and the bartender actually gave me another drink. Only reason I gave a four star was one the bathroom and two the first room feeling like I sauna. Other than that the DJs played great music and it was a great atmosphere.

Yelp
This place is down a dead alley with sketchy characters lurking! Not necessarily a problem, but it didn't even look open. It looked like it had been closed for years--they need to advertise whether they are open or not. If you are coming from out of town, don't go there. It says 5.0 stars on google, I am warning you, its not real. No people outside to indicate its open, but yet it's labeled as a nightclub on google when you search nightclub. We went on a Friday night. If it's an event venue only that should be advertised! We had to tell the Lyft driver not to end the ride and take us to the Exchange .3 miles away ( a long .3 miles for those of us who don't want to be jumped). The Exchange is better--more to do, more people and security.

Joyce T.

Yelp
Its 2 venues in one. Check up on what night is your flavor. This night was a Siouxsie & the Banshee night so I danced to that other underground good stuff. One side has a bigger dance floor. Great bartenders and unusual drinks at great prices. I love the beautiful patrons.

Rachel Macie H.

Yelp
Kinda hidden down a dark street which sides a un suspecting alley that's behind a big gate you will find an interesting little spot with an interior that keeps a dark almost foreign industrial look to it that your sure to have a good time in that's forshures! Coming here I really didn't know what to expect other than a club atmosphere but once inside I was surprised to see how cool the set up was here as you step in you find yourself in a dark room with some candles along the side to give you just enough light to see around the loud music when right to the other side you will see one of the two bars here as well as a pathway between the rooms that almost looks like you would find it inside a foreign bomb shelter or something! The other room is a bit bigger with another bar and more room to dance as well as some different music going on this very day! Overall we enjoyed our time here the atmosphere was fun and the concept was a bit different than you find in most places in LA so who knows if I'll venture here again but it's defiantly not out of the picture!

Paris J.

Yelp
This bar is LQBTQ+ friendly. Bob is a fabulous bartender who keeps a sanitary work station; he even helped me with the sound (as I was dj'ing for the night)

JJ A.

Yelp
Used to be the coolest dance club in all of DTLA. The Lash was absolute fire when it first opened. Now, in light of the pandemic, the front room is a sushi bar now?? The club is sad and has been pushed entirely to the back room. A grand total of 10 people moving around on the floor and drink prices way, way up. Sad to see this terrific spot go.... :(

Louis C.

Yelp
Used to be a cool spot. Then it got musky because of only one bar and half of the spot being open. Because the front half is a yuppie sushi bar now.

Taylor J.

Yelp
Came Here for the Manifest Party, the party was trash, but I did enjoy the Lash (see what I did there). I was sitting at home and feeling stressed. Of course, the first thing I automatically want to do when I'm stressed is DANCE. So I looked on Instagram to see what kind of mischief I could get myself into for a few hours. It was Thursday night and I felt confident enough to try something new. This is where the manifest party comes in. I have heard so much about this party via social media. I heavily follow the creator/ DJ of this event and thought it would be cool to experience this (seemingly) fun party for myself. I walked into the venue and there was no cover (totally awesome). The outlay of the Lash is really interesting. The front room of this venue (where the party I was going to) was pretty small, but beautiful. I grabbed a drink at the bar and waited for things to get exciting (which never happened), but at least my drink was tasty. When I finally saw the social media influencer that I adore, it was actually when I was standing in her way. She stormed around me and in that moment, I knew it was time to leave. Before leaving, I did manage to make it to the back room which was much more spacious, but the music itself wasn't for me. I would totally come back to the lash for a different event.

S O.

Yelp
This was such a great find on a night out. They had the best electro music and everyone was kinda goth. Went here a few more times and the place was pretty wild and a great time. Be careful as its in an area with a lot of crime.

Annissë D.

Yelp
Had a great time. Good music loved it overall. Drinks are too pricey but watch your back when you wait out in the streets if you're taking a ride share. This venue is unlit and in a dangerous part of DTLA. Two men came charging walking very fast with intent towards me. Definitely were looking to do something to me. I don't want to know what. If my ride share car did not turn the corner when it did. I don't even know what would have happened. As soon as I got in the car, the men turned and walked away from me.

Ana R.

Yelp
The Lash is a hit or miss. I'd suggest before heading over there to look at their social media page. The party starts late here. There is only a cover if it gets too crowded which ranges from $10-$20. (People don't usually arrive until around midnight. ) There's two "dance floors" (if you want to call them that) that have two different DJ. Usually one side is 90's Hip-hop and other one alternate house. To sum it up, its a good whole-in-the-wall bar that's appropriate to dance at.

Brenda H.

Yelp
Had the strangest, most awesome night here! Came with a couple friends on a Sunday night not knowing what to expect. It's in a kinda sketchy part of DTLA, but the venue seemed nice. Had a drink at the front bar where the theme of the night was "90's Goth Klub", then moved into the back room where one guy was dancing alone in front of the DJ. We joined in and minutes later a dude in a trench coat jumped in pulling out some matrix-type moves. We danced like crazy people and no one seemed to care. Seriously, you could wiggle in place like a sea anemone and no one would bat a lash. Try it! Although the dance floor really filled up, it seemed like everyone came alone because almost no one was dancing with each other. All in all, super low-key, interesting music, great for dancing .

Yelp
TIME/ DATE: FRIDAY NIGHT PARTY OF: 2 PARKING: Parking lot is across the street, I think it was like $10. LOCATION: +The dance floors were small. ADMISSION: + Depended on the event. I think it was free when we went. WAIT TIME: Took 15 mins to get in. ALCOHOL : + Pricey for the drinks. BARTENDERS: + Gave me a nasty, watered down ADIOS. I watched the girl make it and it was awful, she didn't put the right things and assumed I didn't see her. I complained about the drink and she didn't end up remaking it or giving me a refund. This is why I ask for Jagerbomb at clubs because you honestly can't mess that up. OVERALL EXPERIENCE: It's my first time coming to this club. Music wasn't bad. I think we went there for a 80/90s thing. Pretty small dance floor. Its kind of in a sketchy area. Good first time experience. Would I come back? Eh, there's plenty of other clubs in DTLA i'd rather go to. SUGGESTIONS: Better drink specials, better music, maybe a happy hour special? or at least know how to make an Adios the right way.

Camilla T.

Yelp
This place is dope! It's always a hit or miss with the crowd. The music here is great. The only thing I don't like about this place is that the security doesn't really let people in, even if there is a line formed. I've never had a problem getting in, or had issues with anyone here, but I've waited for my friends to get in and it gets annoying when they're in line, but security let's in whoever rushes at him. But the security guards are dope. I think they just want people out of their face The drinks here are great as well. The bartenders here are great too!

Belen P.

Yelp
My friends and I received a recommendation that this place was good for good music and dancing. It just so happened that we showed up on "CHOLO GOTH" night. You can imagine the faces of everyone in there as we walked in. I'm still laughing LMAO. Honestly despite us coming on a weirdly themed night we enjoyed most of our time there. By the looks of the crowd everyone else did too. The drinks I would say were over priced for the actual taste and presentation. The music really was good. I would just add that they make you pay a cover fee of $10 to get in... I mean like what for. Over all it was an ok experience.

Macy H.

Yelp
Came on a Saturday night with a group of 18 of us. We came here because it was so hard to get in anywhere else with such a large party. We paid $6 cover each (cash only) only to find out that it was so packed there was barely even enough room to walk. As soon as we walked in, we were hit with a wave of intense humidity that just smelled of sweat and alcohol. Disgusting. It made me get flashbacks of house parties in undergrad that were packed and so stuffy that it was difficult to breathe. People were jam packed in there, but they were still trying to dance so it was incredibly difficult to try to even walk over to the bar to get drinks. What's amazing is that they even let 18 of us go in even after it was that packed. As soon as we went in, we turned around and went right back out. Probably the biggest waste of $6.

Leana E.

Yelp
Came here on a Thursday 2/22 for Pillow Talk. We were contemplating on whether to go to 143 at the echoplex, but we hate how long the line is & didn't want to wait in the 40 degree weather for 1-2 hours. We've heard good things about this event, so we decided to give it a try. Free event, R&B all night. Let me tell you, we were not disappointed. Every freaking song was a hit!! We came around 10:30 & the place wasn't packed, but who needs a party when your own crew is one! It started getting crowded around 11-12 & it got super hot/sweaty. There's two rooms, both played hip-hop/R&B.. stuff you could dance to. Drinks were cheap & strong. Restrooms weren't filthy. Overall, I'll definitely be coming back.

Lena T.

Yelp
Okay so I went on Night at a Roxbury night (90s music). When I walked in from outside, immediately my glasses fogged up because it was so hot in there and so humid. But then I kept on walking past the first part, past the bathrooms and the OTHER side of the club was waaaay cooler. They said the AC was broken on the entrance side. The place is small, and phone reception inside was poor, but the MUSIC was SOOO good!!! the DJ did fantastic job of playing 90s hits and EVERYONE was dancing ALL NIGHT LONG.... couldn't stop. I'd go back, just for the music.

Christopher B.

Yelp
I've been here twice. And both times the DJ's made me dance until my feet hurt. if you ever get a chance to experience Dj Bianca Oblivion- Go! I left sweaty and a mess. The crowd was really cool too. No issues. Young but intelligent and sexy. I dig the two rooms although they're small it created a nice underground feeling. A perfect mix od swank, dank, and dive ;) Feeling this spot.

Ernest M.

Yelp
We came here on a friend of a friend's birthday. This place is very chill. No decor necessary to dress this place up. There is two dj's one room in the back and in the front. No cover charge and not even a wait after 11pm. It was a *90's* night and the Dj needed some work. I felt like he was just doing it on his computer and pressing next. I didn't drink that night. I still had a blast and at least I know where to go if there is a dance party this place is alright. notes: metered parking and private lots to pay for parking.(look for metered parking, usually they are free) no cover two bars and two djs Verdict: why not. come relax and dress casually. You might run into a guy who looks like luigi and beyonce at the same time. He was kiling it. haha.

David C.

Yelp
I can't wait for The Lash to come back. It was one of my favorite Downtown spots. Great drinks, security was on it, and it has an amazing variety of music and talent!! Staff is very friendly.

Samuel P.

Yelp
The Lash is DTLA's perfectly unpretentious, come-as-you-are, get crazy as f*** / give exactly zero f***s dance scene. While the atmosphere and tune selection differs based on who is hosting and which two DJs (one per section) are spinning, The Lash is always a good time. There's never a heinous line around the block, douchey non-regulars are at an absolute minimum, and this is the only club with friendly, down-to-earth bouncers. I heard legend of this place long before I ever went, but ever since I keep coming back. Even if I simply happen to be in DTLA, I will usually see what's going on here or stop in w/o checking the website / Facebook / Twitter. Oh! And here's another thing that counts: The Lash has FREE and PLENTIFUL ice-cold water dispensers set up in each room, which is something every club should provide as a necessary service. Even sleazy Los Globos still tries to charge patrons $5 for a bottle of off-brand H20. The Lash forever and ever amen.

Manny D.

Yelp
I avoided coming here for a long time due to the misleading name, i envisioned an overzealous pansexual pandemonium of whips and chains, none of which are of interest. This is a small venue clearly never built for the intention of alcoholic consumption and deubachery but converted as such. There is an akward pillar that sits dead center in what is the dancefloor? On the sidelines are two layers of concrete benches to lounge in immediately in front of you as you step in and another single layer to your right, dj booth to the left with the sound breaking apart at the pillar that creates a strange pocket of minimized volume if you sit directly behind it. The second room is where its at as its far more spacious and wall flowering by the bar is an actual possibility without the claustrophobia. The versatility of events here is dope, it ranges anywhere from obscure genres like moombahton, and underground trap to contemporary hip hop/rap and even industrial. This is one of the few venues im aware of are open all week so if you just want to grab a beer with your boys and vibe out to jams, the lash is the spot.

Virginia J.

Yelp
This is a gritty little bar made in an old button factory, the staff is always cool and slightly surly, they have good bartenders and host cool events like 90's goth night and an all Nick Cave night. The speakers in the back are blown out man. Anything they play back there sounds like a cockroach yelling into a Dixie cup. But I like the bar!

Michelle K.

Yelp
Huge pro: there's a LOT of seating in both rooms. The room upon entry is a nice lounge-y area with some more low key music. There's another room in the back with a cool disco ball; a lot of super modern art. Music on a Saturday night was 90s hip hop. There were guys in the corner taking selfies and looking bored, but they came to life--very puppet-like--once a Boyz to Men song came on. Parked in a garage down the street.

Ken T.

Yelp
There is sometimes 90s night; two bars with two dance floors and they have street fighter in the first room. Sometimes different theme nights.

Zsaleh R.

Yelp
1) smells like pizza burps 2) humid in a gym locker way 3) grimy/sticky and slippery all over the place 4) Women's room toilets even miswing toilet seats If u just turned 21, this is the right place for you! I do have yo say the staff was pretty nice.

Tamra H.

Yelp
This is by far the worst bar I have ever been too. I came in with a 5$ cover and left being pushed out of the bar for no reason. I did nothing. They tried to accuse me of "touching the DJ" equipment, but even if I did there was no DJ nor any sign near the equipment telling me I could not touch it. I nicely asked why I was being asked to leave, and thy told me to "GET THE FUCK OUT" I have so much respect for gays, lesbians, or anything you decide to be.... but that still does not give you any right to touch or PUSH me out of any bar...

Carina Y.

Yelp
Just came into the place one night around Halloween time with my best friend. We had just had dinner and wanted to hangout somewhere. Found this place on yelp. Don't understand why it doesn't have a higher rating. This place was surprising to us. Don't remember there was a cover for this place, and it has the right amount of people that night, not too crowded. We ended up danced our night away and had a great time there!

Alli P.

Yelp
The inside has a cool industrial urban feel with ceiling wires, pipes, concrete floors and a really rad unconventional disco ball structure. Seems like the "trendy" people were having loads of fun but it wasn't quite my scene. Vomit in the bathroom from the beginning of the night still remained hours later...Puddles and pieces of glass on the floor from all the spilled drinks... An abundance of stumbling, screaming but mostly smiling faces. ***** the benches have areas with mirror plates attached on the seating area and all the glass is cracked with loose shards. Trashy and Dangerous. BUT The DJ played Sisqo's Thong Song...and then we were all happy

Katie B.

Yelp
I've been to The Lash a couple of times (Friday and Saturday nights), as the first go round left me puzzled, "Uhh, what are they going for?" And since I'm not one to bash a boozing opportunity, especially since I've had wonderful encounters with the bartenders and bouncers, I wanted to give it a couple more chances. After careful consideration, I just don't think The Lash is my kind of drinking establishment. The cocktails are dandy, the beer selection crafty, but there's something about the crowd and the energy, or lack thereof, of the room that doesn't jive for me. The design is a bit quirky and it's really dark with white tiled walls and neon lighting, reminiscent of an underground rock club in London or something stripped out of a punk scene from the '80s. The crowd is predominantly on the obscure end of artsy or just look disinterested with life, and both times I've walked back into the "private room," I didn't feel any more connected to the space or the people occupying it. The music selection doesn't make my hips want to Shakira the shit out of the room, either.

Shane E.

Yelp
If you wanna get weird, maybe dance but are unsure of what music you want, aren't looking for craft cocktails, and don't want to pay cover then this place might be for you. The venue is divided into two areas. The back bar usually has a more urban feel, usually some hip hop or other contemporary tunes mixed in. You'll find a dance floor backlit with some anime or something of the like. Dudes line up against the wall and creep on chicks. Front of house may spin something more 80s or 90s, think Madonna's "Vogue" or Britney Spears. It all depends on the night and DJ. I've always got this in my back pocket as a wild card if my friends are being indecisive or if we're already faded but don't want to go home.

Britney F.

Yelp
I am not leaving a review on the actual club location because I have never been, they do events called "The Lash Pop Up" and from my understanding they hold an event at a random location...It is kinda confusing...or at least it was to me. It gave me a very bad experience and impression. The Pop Up I went to was Dj Fire Double Cross show on 1/10/15. The club...was HORRIBLE!!! First of all... just standing still you were looking around to see where the fire in the building had started because it was so incredible hot and sweaty that could be the only explanation! haha. The service and security was a joke..or just nonexistent? We were with the headlining Dj...we asked for a bottle of Champagne four times...even gave them a credit card to just charge it (even though it should have been covered for the artist)...it never came. The stage is a joke...random people were just walking up on stage...almost knocking over speakers, an Asian chick looked at me and told me she hated white people...i'm white...so you can imagine how that may have been a problem lol. In no time I was disgustingly sweaty, unsafe, and ready to fight some random chick...I will never ever go back to this place. So Sketch. The location was 1714 Las Palmas Ave. Los Angeles, CA. DO NOT GO HERE!

Schel H.

Yelp
This place makes me think of speaking in a Russian accent and that it could be a typical small lounge/club in Moscow vs DTLA. Well it would also be a vodka bar if that was the case and they did have a good selection of whiskey... but yeah... the imagination runs wild at the thought. Eh comrade? There isn't a lot of seating here, but if they had live music or a DJ in here that makes it instant dance floor! This place was very chill and relaxing. I love the Russian script neon sign over the bar which I believe means "wish you were here" taking a guess from the quotes under others photos of that sign. The drinks were decently priced without breaking the bank. Granted that doesn't mean cheap... just not way overpriced as some places are want to do. The bathroom was serviceable and didn't seem super nasty. The staff was friendly helpful and having a good time too it seemed. I think that they have a lot of regulars here as the staff was pretty friendly with a few of the patrons at the bar. Definitely a nice chill place to wind down our night out carousing and bar hopping. I look forward to coming back here again... too bad it wasn't the fetish bar that I had thought from the name... that would have been very entertaining...

Sam J.

Yelp
Came here with a group of my friends. Loved it! Inexpensive. First 'club' technically because I rather only go to bars that have live music jazz ,acoustic ,burlesque and all that fun stuff. Was fun dancing with everyone and even my lover oscar joined me on the floor. (:

Trisha W.

Yelp
This is your basic run of the mill Russian disco tech bar fully equipped with an endless array of hard liquor. Bourbons, Whiskeys, VODKAS, Tequilas, Rums, Gins, the list goes on and on. They have lots of different higher end varietals available all night long. Also tons of beers. Everything is moderately priced so you can tip more! The floor is packed with gorgeous blushing one of a kind model-like dancing machines. Everyone at the Lash is basically there to have a good time. There's a huge outdoor smoking area for those of you who like to puff puff laugh. I LOVE the music, it's a mix up of everything... you can twerk and lip-sync all in one night. There are two rooms that are equally fun. Just make sure to wear comfortable shoes because this music is irresistibly hypnotic and you won't be able to resist going all out on the dance floor. Fun facts: there's a huge parking garage near by and you can park there for a flat fee of just $5. There's no catch, no need to leave your keys in the car, nothing. Please as always do not drink and drive, duh. It's located in the heart of skid row, but don't worry it's pretty gentrified, I would strongly advise you to UBER or LYFT RIDE SHARE whatever TAXI your way around even if it's just a mile away... do not be tempted to walk, there are tons of walking dead around, you get the picture. Tips: Be yourself, wear whatever you want, the vibe is free, anything goes. The more artsy and fashionable the better. I am always incredibly underdressed and regret not wearing black lipstick and 10 inch platforms. Just enjoy!

Ralph G.

Yelp
Fun music and fun people, also Simple dive bar drinks, nothing fancy. A dive bar with dance floors. Two rooms of fun. One of the best bars downtown for Chilling and dancing

Sera C.

Yelp
This venue is pretty nice. I liked that they have water dispensers in the main rooms. Thank you for that. It's a nicely laid out venue, and was clean. Interesting room lay out, but very conductive to socializing. Would go there again for an event.

Lukas G.

Yelp
Just went on an emo night and can i just say I like love the lash , tbh yummy beats per minute. I was groped immediately upon entry and was thrown back in a vortex of my teen angst so much nostalgia . God bless

Michael M.

Yelp
I live in the building and watched The Lash go from an empty room to the awesome bar that it is today. I love this place. Every night it is different, different people and different music. I really like it's mixture of people and that everyone is welcome. The staff that works at The Lash are super friendly and professional. Once I was there and they played Dead Kennedys - California Über Alles. What other bar plays that song? It's cool and fun. You should come on out and check it out yourself.

Tony V.

Yelp
All black everything. There's a underground feel; literally, with the subway tile and concrete floors, but also the overall vibe of the facility. It's the men's room of a classy vampire's dreams - black stalls, black walls, and black toilets. I really like what they did with the space. Xymox would approve. The club has a gritty underground darkwave thing going, but the restroom is clean, spacious, and stocked, whilst capturing the vibe of the establishment. Almost every detail has been thought through - the overhead tube lighting, the modern sink and fixtures, the Xlerator. Some clowns keyed the mirror, but I guess they wanted to destroy something beautiful.

Brenda Z.

Yelp
Came here last Saturday night! This place can be a bit hard to find but once you see a big gate with a line of people around it you'll know you have arrived! The bouncer was really friendly and there is no cover charge all night :). Once you get inside you see a small room open for dancing. You also see a hallway which leads you to another room for dancing. The time I was here they were playing pretty good music/ mixed it up a lot they played Rihanna to Spanish music. I really liked the image projections they have going around this room- it gives the place a certain feel.

Yelp

Yelp
There was no cover, the drink price were reasonable for DTLA, there's two distinct areas depending on the music you're feeling, and I saw Skrillex. Skrillex is shorter than I thought he'd be, but I guess that's the thing with lots of famous(infamous?) people. Seemed like a nice dude though.

Yelp
Just what DTLA needed. Very unpretentious and a fun place to chill. Everyone who works here is so nice and the drinks are good. When you walk in the front door go to your right, up the stairs, not to the left. There's a big mirror and you don't want to walk into the wall....unless that's your thing. Front room or back room, take your pick depending on the mood.

Yelp
The best place in town. Cool laid back atmosphere, great drinks and eclectic music served up in a unique underground subway feeling space. They have rotating DJ's in both rooms and keep a good balance of different styles that cater to different crowds. Interested in knowing more about what kind of music is being played so you are not subjected to anything but the sounds you know and love? Well, that's what social media is for! This is probably the closest thing LA has to the boutique style drink venues across the Atlantic with a wise draft selection you could only expect from a certified Irish pub. That's right, they even have a plaque. No TV's sports fans!

Yelp
The Lash... I used to come here often when I lived a few blocks away from here, and I miss it. This place is not for everyone, but you should give it a try especially if you have a friend who already likes this place. With good friends, you may like it even if this is not your kind of dance club. The location kind of looks sketchy as it is located between Main and Los Angeles, but I have never had any troubles getting in and out here. There are two rooms with different music. If you enjoy a bigger space to dance, the room in the back is better for you though it is still pretty small. Normally the bar in the back is easier to get drink too. It is a place to do whatever you wanna do and enjoy music without caring how you look. You can dance like a crazy person alone or with your friends or stand by a wall just watching people without socializing. I have brought many friends here for fun, and I think 20% of them liked it, and others said "... It was interesting." hahaha

Yelp
Okay went here two Saturday's ago, and didn't plan for it. We originally wanted to go to another bar but the line was pretty long so we decided to give it a shot. We got there around 11ish and the place is sooo cute! The drinks were good and the girl bartender in the back room was so nice and friendly!!! She was being so awesome the whole night! The music was pretty good that night, it was two white guys djing off a phone. However my friend Was told we just happened to go on a good night. Maybe invest in someone who played a little better or more consistently then I'm sure this place will go off all the time. My only complaint of the night was probably not having reception there but 5/5 stars well deserved!

Yelp
I went there on a Friday and it was so much fun. Great music! The hip hop DJ event in the back was so much fun. I ended up staying all night.
