I moved in during COVID from the Bay Area and initially found the place promising. However, the past two years have been a nightmare. The Mitsubishi wall-mounted AC units couldn’t keep up with the urban heat—they only worked if you were standing directly under them, leaving my 2-bedroom apartment uncomfortably hot. My plants were dying, and I couldn’t leave my dog alone for fear of overheating. This was the main reason I moved out.
Communication with property management was also terrible—they only respond when it suits them. The neighborhood has deteriorated, with safety concerns after dark due to homeless individuals and loose dogs. The complex is dirty, with trash and dog waste everywhere, and maintenance is lacking. Dumpsters are consistently overflowing, and water waste from malfunctioning sprinklers goes unaddressed.
Additionally, the only amenity provided, an electric vehicle charger, has been out of service for over a year and a half despite multiple repair requests. Management now ignores my service requests to fix it.
Overall, this is one of Granville’s worst-managed properties. I wouldn’t recommend moving here, especially with the nearby county jail likely contributing to the high homeless population.
