"Liberty Tavern is one of those consistent restaurants that always manages to deliver a special evening. Wood-oven pizzas, pastas, and grilled items are sure bets: each day has a special dish that’s worth exploring (Friday, for example, is shrimp scampi night). Find well-made classic cocktails and a bustling bar area to boot; the company also owns bistro Lyon Hall and transitional coffeehouse Northside Social, all strong offerings in the same neighborhood." - Missy Frederick, Kalina Newman

For $25, make your own mimosa with a bottle of Belle Jardin bubbly and your choice of juice." - Kalina Newman

The gnocchi a la carbonara ($20) with house-smoked Duroc bacon, peas, egg, and pecorino is also not to miss. Enjoyed a delicious brunch here and Savannah was an excellent server! She was attentive without ever hovering over us, and was kind and offered efficient service. We opted for the small plates brunch option and enjoyed the various dishes that we tried. The deviled eggs and French toast were stand out favorites. I’d strongly recommend reservations for brunch as they do get busy! 📸: French toast, deviled eggs, caprese pasta salad, quiche, brunch punch

Our server was very friendly and checked on us frequently. She answered our many curious food questions cheerfully. We ate downstairs at a high top table, which suited us totally. If you wish for a more quiet atmosphere, we recommend dining upstairs as the young boisterous crowd downstairs can be rowdy on a Saturday night. My super delicious steak was cooked precisely medium rare per my request! I especially liked the ready sliced presentation, which allowed me to share with others at our table without having to touch each piece. The prices are somewhat higher than in surrounding restaurants but you really get what you pay for! The others enjoyed their burger, pizza, and chicken wings. Thanks for the delicious meals and friendly ambiance, "The Liberty Tavern."

I just loved it! We had some great food which includes shrimps, chicken wings, pasta and our all time favorite, garlic bread. Other than the pizza which we thought was a bit more salty, everything was top notch. A BIG shout-out for Christine for taking care of us so well! Whenever I am back to DC, will definitely come back to this place!

Google
Everything was super delicious but the Mac-n-cheese tasted more like flour I'd say (maybe fresh noodles?) and the chicken piccata was just ok so I hate to say I could do the same at home as it wasn't remarkable unfortunately. We did come in at 8:30 (kitchen closes at 9:00) but there should still be attention to every single food item. Steaks were cooked per requests and other appetizers were spot on. Atmosphere is beautiful whether for a romantic date or getting together with friends.

Had a great lunch date here. We tried unlimited lunch menu and all the food items were amazing. Really satisfying. We got exceptional service from Ivana.

Tianling Wan

Google
Their online lunch menu includes Spaghetti and Meatballs, but it turns out spaghetti isn’t available for lunch. However, Rigatoni with Meatballs is quite good, both the portion and the taste. I really like how they have chopped up meatballs included in the sauce as well.

Google
Ate upstairs for a chill experience. Had the skirt steak medium with arugula salad and parmasean truffle fries. Steak was perfect, dressing on the salad was delicious and the fries were not greasy. 5/5 would return

Google
Loved this restaurant for the atmosphere , food and service. We had the gluten free pork chop, a huge delicious portion which I shared, the Caesar salad needed a bit more dressing, and the huge, cooked to perfection hamburger. The place was packed on Friday, but we had a reservation. Otherwise, I heard that the waiting time was 1 hour. Nice wine and cocktails. Excellent service.

Jesael A.

Yelp
I always go to the Liberty Tavern . The chef makes the best meatballs!. I always have people taking care of me. Very nice service too.

Yelp
Convenient, delicious food, great service and less noisy upstairs Will gladly come again!

Yelp
Really should have written this review months ago but hey better late than never. Wife and I had our rehearsal dinner here in October '23 and it was the best wedding related decision we could have made. We originally planned to have it at our favorite place, Lyon Hall, but when the invite list got too long they recommended we move it to Liberty Tavern (sister restaurants). It ended up being such an amazing experience. Their event coordinator was extremely helpful and made planning it a breeze. Liberty Tavern menu also did not disappoint. Steaks, pastas, desserts--everything was amazing. We had 60+ people and the servers really stepped up and delivered. Best part was, after our awesome dinner, our group just walked downstairs and kept the party going as they brought their DJ out. All around phenomenal experience and extremely appreciative of everyone there who made that night possible.

Yelp
We came for Christmas Eve brunch, and experienced the unlimited small plate and for the table brunch menu. We came as a large party and enjoyed a wonderful brunch. In a world where it is hard to find good customer service, this place was great. The service was very attentive and friendly. As for the food, it was a well served variety of deliciousness. The ambiance and atmosphere was festive and we left feeling relaxed and very full

Yelp
Stopped in for a proper pint at the bar on Saturday afternoon and took advantage of their Happy House food menu -- the calamari was fabulous! Perfectly done (NOT rubbery) and love the added bite of the chili peppers. Also got a simple red pizza - great crust and loved the addition of fontina. Well done all around!

Alyson M.

Yelp
My friend and I were in the mood for an unlimited mimosa brunch and we were pleasantly surprised to find they also serve unlimited small plates. We had so much fun trying all the different menu items while we sipped on cranberry and mango mimosas. Some of our favorites were the shrimp and grits, grilled cheese and tomato soup, deviled eggs, short rib and grits and the fruit was very fresh. I would pass on the spinach dip, turkey bacon and chicken and biscuit. We were there during Sunday football and the bar area was filled with sports fans. We sat at the low couches and watched multiple games on the various screens. It was an energetic atmosphere and our server came by often.

Ashlyn N.

Yelp
Excellent service, food, and drinks for a work meeting and dinner to follow for about 30 people upstairs! They equipped us at no charge and with A/V support upstairs and were quick to handle any and all of our requests. Special thanks to Kelly for helping coordinate such a successful corporate event! She was so easy to work with!

Terri D.

Yelp
It was packed for Saturday brunch. Bar or outdoor seating only - highly recommend a reservation. The menu was confusing- basically one side is the AYCE brunch - served like tapas- thou some of the items came in 3-4 servings sized. Thus, the portions can be all over the place - be warned, the proteins/brisket/bacon are large portions - a lot for three petite ladies. Biggest complaint- server was super friendly but could have asked if we were new and explained the concept. We didn't mean for all of us for the AYCE, but made mistake of ordering on wrong side of menu - so charged AYCE. My mom who barely ate, meal was $30+. Anyhoo, food was good, no complaints there - just make sure you understand the brunch Vs regular menu.

Crystal L.

Yelp
Liberty Tavern is a nice brunch option in Clarendon. Came here with a friend on Saturday, we were seated right away outdoor as I brought a stroller. The brunch menu is big - there are a la carte items and an all-you-can-eat menu. The service was quick, I ordered an all avocado toast breakfast and it came with a side of fruit. It was delicious! The interior of the restaurant is a bar, where young professionals gather in the weekend to network/catch up, they definitely turn up the music. Since we sat outside, it was easier to converse and we never felt rushed by the server. Price is what you would expect from an Arlington restaurant, not too cheap but not overpriced. Will recommend their brunch menu!

Yelp
I really thought I'd written a review after my first time here but I'm so glad I didn't! So much has changed at LT, whether you're here for brunch, lunch, happy hour or dinner it's bound to be an experience! Between Elmer (server), Alex (bartender) or Gio (bartender) service is exceptional. They have ample seating both inside and out, for whatever you fancy. They've recently changed up their food menu and the options are exactly what they needed. I really enjoyed the chicken slide, LT Burger and their new drink specials for HH.

Denise Z.

Yelp
What a cute tavern! Extremely friendly service, lunch was over and they still let us order the Amazing cod sandwich. We started with the slider's the cod and the LT and enjoyed the pizza. My daughter enjoyed the Liberty tavern slider so much she had that as her meal, she couldn't even finish it, gigantic burger made perfectly. We enjoyed the cod so much also gigantic made to a Krispy on the outside and light and flaky cod on the inside.I was amazed by the sides they offered the cream tomato soup as one was excellent they also had great fries and side salad's.The price's the quality and atmosphere definitely worth going! Did I mention the drinks also looked delish!

E H.

Yelp
The burger is in my top ten list. There was no Hefeweizen on tap. I will definitely be coming back when I back in town. It was very loud in there and you have to yell to talk to the person across from you.

Mac C.

Yelp
Everything was super delicious but the Mac-n-cheese tasted more like flour I'd say (maybe fresh noodles?) and the chicken piccata was just ok so I hate to say I could do the same at home as it wasn't remarkable unfortunately. Yelp
The happy hour at The Liberty Tavern provides exceptional value! They offer a generous daily happy hour that spans the entire restaurant--indoors and outdoors--from 2 PM to 6 PM. My friend and I indulged in fantastic appetizers and $7 cocktails. The happy hour food portions are so large that the visit easily replaced my dinner that night. I'm eagerly looking forward to going back!

Aliya A.

Yelp
With first not so good all you can eat brunch experience, I still gave this restaurant another try. Parking in the area on Sunday afternoon was little difficult but was still manage to find one. We were greeted by Grace who was very nice and sweet. We then sat at our high seating area near the window, and then greeted by our server Kailey, who was extremely sweet and kind. She brought us our coffee while we waited for third person in our party of 3. We ordered The Liberty tavern burger with side of fries, The Pesto Grilled Chicken Sandwich with side of macaroni & cheese and avocado egg toast with home fries as a side. All dishes were extremely flavorful and delicious. One of our business friend was traveling from Wisconsin and all he was raving about how good the burger was when he returned to WI. All now he is looking forward to have same burger whenever he is in town next, we think its such a huge compliment for this restaurant:) Overall great experience and we absolutely adored our server Kailey.

Jeff G.

Yelp
Took a little break from walking last night. The ambiance is warm and my server was prompt and courteous. Plenty of TVs to catch game highlights and a bar with plenty of options. I found this restaurant very relaxing and I wasn't rushed. Plenty of food options, but tonight I needed a protein snack and something to wash it down. Just enough....before heading home. The chicken wings were flavored with chipotle with lime. The beer was a brown ale. Enjoy!!

Zack G.

Yelp
American spot that is owned by the same people that own Lion Hall The downstairs is more casual/bar vibes, and the upstairs is a little more upscale Solid amount of both food and drink options I came with my GF and we each got a caesar salad, a pizza, and a frozen mango margarita. The caesar salad was bad, but the pizza and margarita were both very good! Our waitress was very friendly as well

Lester W.

Yelp
Sat at the bar and had a spicy Bloody Mary that was very good. The feel of this place has good energy and the staff is very attentive.

Elizabeth W.

Yelp
We came for restaurant week Summer 2023 and it was $40 per person for 3 courses. I really liked the food, the service, and the restaurant itself. They also had dessert to-go options which was convenient. I wished that they offered mocktails or other zero-proof drink options on the menu instead of asking for virgin versions of cocktails. For my pork chop, I loved the mashed sweet potatoes but wished there were more veggies given it's a huge piece of protein.

Diana N.

Yelp
As soon as we walked in Melichos greeted us and was extremely welcoming. Our waitress was a young lady named Andrea. We wanted pizza and wings. We couldn't decide which flavor to order. Andrea was accommodating and recommended we get half Alabama white wings and half chipotle lime. It was Delicious! Nice thick juicy drums and flats. Both flavors were great. Personally Alabama White was my favorite! The blue cheese is great as well! I would order this again. For the pizza we ordered The Dude with added Mushrooms. It's cooked in a brick oven. The pizza was an authentic thin slice with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. It was the perfect bite! All and all I highly recommend this restaurant food and customer service was ASTONISHING!!!!! 10/10

Andre A.

Yelp
First and foremost, the reason the rating isn't lower is because we went during a lunch to dinner changeover so the menu was limited. With that in mind the food was mediocre at best. We had the wings, Lamb Ragu and Fried chicken sandwich. Out of those 3 the lamb ragu was the best but it seemed more of a fall/winter dish. There were also flys hovering around the light above our head which is never a good thing. The service was nice so no complaints there. Overall with the options in the area I wouldn't choose this place again but like I said in the beginning it was a limited menu so consider that.

Tiffany W.

Yelp
Went on a Saturday at 11:30am (with reservations) for all you can eat brunch with a group of 10. If your group is more than 6, everyone has to order the all you can eat brunch. Some folks in the party were late, but the restaurant gives you a 15 minute grace period before starting the 90 minute clock for your table to order. Since I'm on a special diet, I perused the menu beforehand and knew what I was going to order. However others seemed caught off guard when it was time to order and that made the process seem a little frazzling. Once we ordered, the food came fast and furious! Knowing what you ordered helps make it a little less frantic, otherwise the servers call out a dish and everyone is trying to remember who ordered it. Felt a little bad for the servers at those moments. There almost wasn't enough room for the various plates with the regular plates, napkins, drink glasses and other items on the tables. I had to think quickly and move some items from their own dish to a plate with items on it already so I could hand the empty plate back to the servers before they left. That helped a little with the space. For my first order I had scrambled eggs with cheddar, home fries, yogurt with granola and turkey bacon. Everything was tasty and decent serving sizes, though the yogurt was quite small. My only feedback was that the turkey bacon could have been cooked a little more. For my second order I had grilled sirloin steak, arugula salad, avocado toast and fruit salad. Again, everything was delicious. I especially enjoyed the arugula salad. I was surprised that they honored my request of no egg on the avocado toast (I don't do poached) and no everything seasoning, but I was happy they did. The steak was so good that I ordered another serving. It also helped that the serving size was quite small as well. The restaurant was quite busy the whole time. And 15 minutes before our 90 minutes was supposed to end, the hostess said the next party for that table had arrived and they needed the space. We felt a bit rushed and that was a bit unfair, but we got up as requested. Perhaps the restaurant should put a few minutes between reservations to allow for time to clean the space so patrons don't feel rushed and get their full 90 minutes. Also, our main server was just ok (didn't get his name). When asked what the items were in the 3 piece sweet dish, he said "I don't know, they always change it." Come on, sir, that's not really an acceptable response. Our table was towards the back near the restrooms. It was an L shaped booth on one side, with extremely low poufs on the other as chairs. The table was very low and a bit awkward to get in and out of the booth. Personally I think they need to upgrade to a standard height table. There's an upstairs but I didn't check it out. It's a decent restaurant with a good menu if you know what you're expecting.

Yelp
We came here for brunch to celebrate my friend's birthday. The restaurant is located in a high traffic area so parking can be hard. We went on a Sunday so we didn't have to pay for street parking. The business has outdoor and indoor seating with multiple televisions inside. We were originally seated outside. There are mobile umbrellas next to the tables to block the sun. At one point during our visit the umbrella fell over. Bees were really bad while we dined outside as well. Eventually we were moved inside after we asked to be moved. Our server, Mia, was very patient, personable, and attentive. We chose to get the unlimited brunch for $29. With this deal everyone at your table must get the deal & you have 90 minutes to order as many small plates of food and dessert sampler that you want. The food was good and was brought out quickly. There were a few items that we had to reorder due to them not being brought out. My favorite dishes were the spinach dip, arugula salad, and the macaroni and cheese. The restaurant also provides a complimentary brownie and ice cream with a candle for your birthday.

Valie K.

Yelp
The staff is so welcoming and attentive. I love the upstairs dining area. Salmon was delicious

RC R.

Yelp
Top notch restaurant in the heart of Claridon. There is a fantastic brunch scene but it is also great for happy hour or causal week night dining. The atmosphere in the bar area is much more lively than upstairs. The outside seating is also nice but can get a bit loud depending on traffic.

Yelp
Christmas Eve 2nd year in a row at Liberty Tavern. What happened here? Party of 8 Christmas Eve dinner was a miserable experience. Short rib, duck with tomato sauce, rib eye, Bronzino, prime rib, rigatoni and meatballs. Food was 4 out of 10 and that was the best of our overall experience . Our waiter apparently was not interested to be working. He chose not even make eye contact at our large group the entire dinner. Service was non-existent. Massive disappointment here. Last Christmas' dinner was very much better in every way. The two stars were given because it's Christmas after all.

Katherine L.

Yelp
I thought that the food was very solid. I got the gnocchi alla carbonara and my friends for two different pizzas. The pasta was a pretty heavy meal, super rich. The interior was well-decorated and clean. Service was pretty fast and responsive. Overall, a pretty solid place to get a nice meal. You can get better Italian food for sure in the area, but it was pretty good overall.

Rik C.

Yelp
This is my go to for weekend brunch! Me and my friends go here and every time has been great... AYCE for 2 hrs... they serve little plates but they do have certain plates for the table! Everything I've eaten has been A1... Most importantly can't go wrong with the bottomless mimosas! I've been seated downstairs at a really low table (was a bit tight) (elbow room wise)but it was only when my party was 8+ people. It's much better with 6 people or less in your party because they seat you at tables upstairs. Only downside is to that is the bathroom is downstairs. But great experience overall!

Rosie M.

Yelp
Always enjoy my time here! Split the chicken sandwich and Vermont pizza with a friend, best of both worlds! The pizza came with the perfect proportions of toppings on each slice. Fries were slightly in the soft/soggy side but were well seasoned. We sat outside so my dog could join, and service was wonderful. Great happy hour options and prices. Will definitely be returning!

D M.

Yelp
Woof. Food and service is wildly uneven. Half the food was pretty good (fries, chicken slider) while the other half was downright horrible (Carbonara, burger slider, cod slider). Service was super slow despite it not being crowded (plenty of open tables). But at least it's undeservedly overpriced!

Caroline N.

Yelp
I've visited Liberty Tavern quite frequently through the years and Saturday brunch there is always a must! The food is so good! Make a reservation in advance as it gets really busy. Be prepared to elevate your voice to talk over the noise if inside. Sad that the brunch buffet option is gone as I thought it was much better than the menu, and quickly replenished by the staff. However, the brunch menu (a la carte) has some good options to choose from that were previously on the buffet (ex. Pizza, French toast) You won't be disappointed by brunch, or the mimosas, definitely worth a visit.

Aejah T.

Yelp
Nothing but good things to say about Liberty Tavern and our server Andrea! It was a large party (13 people) and the service, food, and ambiance was great! We were seated fast, and our food and drinks came out quickly!

Maggie S.

Yelp
I've only eaten here for brunch, but I love it! I've never done the bottomless because I feel the drinks are reasonably priced and the entrees are more than enough food as it is, so I would highly recommend liberty tavern!

L. S.

Yelp
I went here for brunch today. The service was good, but the food was mediocre. It definitely wasn't worth the $40 all you can eat brunch price tag.

Kenneth K.

Yelp
Came here last month for bottomless brunch with drinks with my wife and our best friend and we all loved it. They have so many great items to choose from and also provide some staples such as biscuits, eggs, and bacon for the table to share. The service was fast and friendly. They do book up, so I suggest getting a reservation in advance. They have a variety of seating areas and we are upstairs and for those with mobility impairments they have an elevator. We loved all of food and drinks and look forward to returning.

Maureen D.

Yelp
I chose Liberty Tavern to celebrate my birthday with my daughters and granddaughter. My first choice was an appetizer of "calamari " . The portion looked large but consisted of breaded red pepper, fennel and some calamari. Very spicey! A second choice was buttered shrimp which also was very spicey. They did replace it without spice. The service was very good and our waitress or mgt removed the calamari from our tab. I loved being with my daughters but I would not go again.

Travis D.

Yelp
Smells like they have a sewer issue. If you can get over that, great place for drinks on a weekend night.

Linda L.

Yelp
I chose The Liberty Tavern because I had not been there in years and I quickly realized why. The music was being played so loud (in general & definitely for a Wednesday night) that it was impossible for my friend and I to have a conversation at our small high top table. I absolutely commend our waitress for being cheerful, attentive, and helpful. However, I was not impressed by the pizza. I got the Classico and admittedly ate it all because that's how I roll with pizza in front of me, but the sauce was too sweet for my taste. My friend liked the gnocchi. Unfortunately, I won't be returning as long as it's Club Liberty Tavern.

Janine L.

Yelp
Always love coming to Liberty Tavern for bottomless brunch! Can always count on friendly and quick service. My favorites on the brunch menu are the meatballs and spinach and artichoke dip! Ambiance is good as well. I love sitting outside on a nice day.

Bobby M.

Yelp
$72 for 4 drinks. 20% auto gratuity, not cool. Almost tipped twice accidentally. Service was good.

Miranda S.

Yelp
Finally got the chance to visit Liberty after hearing so much about it! I don't know if it's because we visited for dinner and not brunch, but I was a bit underwhelmed. While my order of the arugula salad was delicious, others in my group ordered the special (short rib) and were disappointed. Additionally, everyone seemed happy with their drinks, but one member of our party waited over 30 minutes for theirs. I will still be back, as they may have had an off night, and I have heard that their brunch is amazing. Hopefully next time, I will understand what everyone is talking about when they say Liberty is one of the best spots in Arlington. The downstairs area seems lively and fun, closer to a sports bar. The upstairs seating is quieter, better for a date night.

Audrey O.

Yelp
Came here for Valentine's Day-- and the food was good but not STELLAR. The fact the food was "good" + the prices of the entrees is what knocked off the two stars. What we ordered: 1. Garlic bread: More cheese than garlic... was more like an upscale cheese bread than anything. Pretty good because it's hard to go wrong with melted cheese and bread? 2. Meatballs: Don't order these. They were hard, tough, and looked like they puréed the beef to a paste and then froze them only to pull out to steam as needed for service. The inside of the meatballs was like a sponge with little bubble pockets in them and the same color throughout. Reminiscent of ikea meatball interior just not as good. Because the beef was so ground up, any fat that would have given it texture was completely gone. A far cry from Filomena's meatballs. The red sauce was fantastic however and the flavor was good, but save yourself the money. 3. Carbonara Gnocchi: Really great!! The gnocchi was not tough and had a great delicate texture, and the flavor of the Carbonara was spot on. The peas really gave it a sweet balance to the savory sauce and parm. Definitely the highlight of meal. 4. Tuscan Steak: The steak was cooked great just what I ordered albeit a little unevenly. The au jus had a great flavor to it-- but the potatoes left something to be desired. The potatoes were tough and not crispy, and the red bell peppers were a bit kitschy and had such a strong presence it was a bit distracting. Overall for $34- I can probably make a better steak at home. Aside from the food, our cocktails were fantastic, and the service was prompt and extremely attentive. Even the host experience was great. Overall will we come back? Im a huge foodie so probably not since there are just SO many restaurants that for $34 you can have a truly fantastic meal. Did we cross liberty tavern off our bucket list? Yes.

Sherise K.

Yelp
You will DEFINITELY be seeing me here again. The small brunch plates is the best idea. Everything was a hit - the only thing in particular I didn't care for was the quiche. The grits were a little on the bland side but I definitely see myself returning here. The apple cider and mango mimosas were phenomenal. The orange, not so much....

Anushka M.

Yelp
The best food for brunch!! If you choose the unlimited option you get bottomless drinks and unlimited small brunch plates for a 90 minute time limit. They have a large menu available for unlimited plates as well and everything we tried was delicious. We were a party of 8 and had a great time! For drinks, there are various options such as flavored mimosas (orange, mango, etc) or other drinks like sangria and bloody Mary's. We had an amazing waiter who was always coming to check on us and fill our glasses. Since it's unlimited plates you can go ahead and try anything you'd like. The portions are small enough that multiple plates can be ordered. Some of the items I got were deviled eggs, mini eggs Benedict, potato salad, grilled cheese, tomato soup, chicken sausage and Mac and cheese. Other dishes our table got were the steak, shrimp and grits, fried chicken, smoked salmon, Caesar salad, fruit bowl, spinach and artichoke dip, and ham and cheese quiche. I tried as much as I could and honestly didn't think anything was bad. Definitely coming back!

Nicole R.

Yelp
Came for NYE Dinner and had the fixed price menu with some friends. Overall it was a mixed experience. Pros: salads were huge and yummy, fit our group in for a last min reservation, drinks were great, steak was flavorful. Cons: refills were a struggle, steaks were not cooked consistent with what was requested (medium v rare etc), dessert was disappointing and slightly awful (please re-think your bread pudding recipe). I'd be willing to come again and try different items on a less busy night and hope for a more well rounded experience!

Jay R.

Yelp
Using the description for each star, the lunch that my wife and I just had was "could've been better", so two stars. My wife had a 'lunch duo' with a chicken Caesar salad and corn chowder, which was $18. The chicken was dry and over salted, and the salad had a dusting of parmesan, and they called it a Caesar. I had the Liberty Tavern burger, with a fried egg and bacon on it (YOLO, you know?!), which was $22.50. I asked for medium rare and it was medium, and the egg was cooked all the way through; not an iota of runny yolk. And the roll was kind of stiff, like maybe it was from yesterday. Between those and two beers, with tax and tip was $74. My wife said to me "they must have the 'B' team on today", and I think it may have even been the 'C' team. The guy behind the bar was very nice, and that was the best part of the meal. Unfortunately we went there for the food, and that came up really short. It's been a long time since we last ate at Liberty Tavern, and now we remember why. Totally not a good value for what you pay. Also, looking through the recent reviews, I don't see a single management response, which indicates that (at least on one level) they really don't care what's going on there.

Yelp
Wow what a wonderful place. We heard many great things about the "booze brunch" but oh my! Service was excellent (thank you Kailey). We had a great time and the drinks kept coming (again thanks Kailey) We had the chicken sandwich and the LT Burger which were an absolute 10/10. Service 13/10. Location 10/10. Pro tip-if you sit on the patio you may get a chance to pet a doggy.

Yelp
I've been coming to Liberty Tavern for years, first for brunch and now for takeout lunch. It's become one of my favorite places for a special treat. It's got really good American/pub type food: think burgers, sandwiches, salads, etc. I recently had the fried chicken sandwich, which was huge and delicious. The Brussels spouts and wings were also great. Takeout is a breeze thanks to the special to-go side door. Food tends to be ready relatively fast on weekdays, so consider that if you can swing it. If you're driving here, you can pull onto a side street to park and pickup your takeout order. You can also call and ask for it to be brought out. Finally, don't sleep on Restaurant Week lunch when it's that season. The portions are huge for $25, and most recently I had the option to choose a second side dish instead of dessert (I was in the mood for savory food). All around this is a classic Clarendon spot.

Yelp
The industrial margarita is just a regular margarita in a normal glass, fine place other than that.

Yelp
They turned us away because we had a service dog animal that belong to our 11th yrs old son who is autistic. Even though we showed the us service animal card that has been prescribed by is psychiatrist. It was very disturbing for him. We have been going there for years but we will never go back there. Our son is quite upset.
