"If you’re spending the night at the boutique Lincoln Hotel (or if you’re just looking for a last late-night-ish drink), grab a nightcap at the Lobby Bar, an elegant gathering place thanks to its mid-century modern decor, ample leather and velvet seating, and creative takes on classic cocktails. Alternatively, head downstairs to Batson River Brewing & Distilling and sidle up to the bar for a draft of Loon Call, the company’s German-style pilsner." - Stasia Brewczynski

Wife and I were in town for an electrical walkthrough of a lake house we are building. The Lincoln was a great location to get to our build site and offered a very comfortable deluxe King room. We stayed for a week and really enjoyed our stay. Rooms are very comfortable, they have a wine cooler, coffee maker and a unique peek-a-boo shower with a full window to the rest of the room. They do have a curtain you can pull across for modesty. The fireplaces are listed as gas though our room had electric, probably safer for everyone. Bed was very comfortable and other than a bit lower water pressure in the shower than I prefer there was nothing to complain about. My wife really liked the provided bath products too.|Really enjoyed the in-room filtered water provided. You have option of flat and sparkling as well as taps in the ice room to fill bottles before heading out for the day, fantastic perk as I LOVE sparking water. All staff were wonderful and accommodating. Took our neighbors at the lake to the bar and Batson River for dinner and everyone really enjoyed it. We had a great week at the Lincoln and definitely will be back for closing on the house.

I cannot rave enough about my experience at the Lincoln. I was in town visiting and looking for a place to have a drink before I met up with some friends. I sat down at the Lobby Bar and was greeted by the most personable and charming bartender named Bo. He immediately greeted me and took me through all of the cocktails they had to offer. I told him what I liked and didn't like and he whipped up the most beautiful drink, I wish I had taken a photo. Not only that, but it was DELICIOUS! Bo chatted with me more and gave some recommendations of things and places to see before I left town. I want to come back to Maine solely just to sit at this bar again and chat with Bo, he really made my experience great. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone visiting town and to any locals who haven't been here yet. It was AMAZING!

The Lincoln is a really beautiful hotel. The lobby is roomy and welcoming, though maybe a little strong with the cologne scent. While everything is gorgeous (and seemed very clean for our stay!), I did have to wait almost 10 minutes for someone to show up and check us in and then had to fill out some forms and sign to get checked in. They also have you write down the names of who is staying with you, and your car info. That’s all fine, but I would have preferred a quicker process. ||The biggest con is that there aren’t automatic doors. So, if you aren’t traveling lightly, be prepared to carry your stuff and navigate two doors before getting into the lobby. ||The staff were friendly enough and parking was easy with the parking pass to put in your car. I think this hotel is a little more flash than substance. The big gorgeous shower has the most hilariously tiny shower caddy. The restaurant downstairs is decent if you don’t want to go far, but service was very slow and there are better nearby places to eat for that price.||We had a screaming child on the other side of our room who had tantrums all night. This hotel doesn’t really strike me as the place to bring kids given the peek-a-boo shower (the privacy curtain does very little), but maybe that’s just my wishful thinking to find a place where there aren’t screaming children. ||It really is a beautiful hotel, but for the price, I think some functional improvements would go a long way. The rooms are stunning and comfortable, but you can see right through into the bathroom so make sure you’re staying with someone you are very comfortable with :)

The hotel is simply stunning, amazing restoration of a historic property. The room was also amazing, ceilings had to be a t least 20 feet high. We ate at both restaurants, and they too were first class. Highly recommend them to anyone who appreciates the finer things.

Beautiful hotel for Southern Maine located inside an old mill. Vibes were immaculent. We sat at the bar enjoying a drink while a performer played piano. We walked downstairs to Batson River Brewing & Distilling to enjoy a nice dinner. The fitness center is a different company but you still get free access and it is huge! Rooftop pool - absolutely amazing. We loved staying at The Lincoln and will be recommending it to friends and family.

Google
Hands down one of the best stays we’ve had. 500%better than the Hilton we just left in Boston!! The hotel is beautiful. Everything was and is so well thought out. We love our stay. We’re here for another night. I’m bummed about that . I could easily stay forever! The walk ability is great. I actually graduated from UNE 40 yrs ago - things have changed so much up here!! This hotel is a diamond in the rough. A few things that we would have liked, not game changers at all, would be another trash basket in our room-the only trash bin is in the bathroom commode room. Also, we are later night eaters and drinkers. The restaurant downstairs closes at 9 and the bar upstairs closes at 10. It’s all good - we walked across the street to the pub - we were happy.

This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever had the pleasure to stay in. It’s so chic that you forget you’re in a hotel. The rooms are so tastefully decorated, with ample space, tall ceilings, luxury linens and even an electric fireplace. My *only* complaints would be that the shower head made quite a lot of noise and the water pressure was poor. I stayed one night and was sad to leave the next morning. There was even a pianist in the lobby bar! This was such a wonderful stay and I cannot wait to come back. 10/10!

Google
15 out of 10. What an incredible place. Everything has been carefully thought out, planned and executed. From the lighting that accentuates the stunning architectural features, to the reusable water bottles with both flat and sparkling water choices on tap, the amazing fragrance of the hotel lobby (that we had to bring back home!) and the impeccable service you'll receive from kind, smiling and dedicated employees who truly care about your experience at the hotel, everything is exceptional! We had initially planned a 2 night stay and extended for an additional 2 nights. The perfect getaway. Thank you so much and we can't wait to be back.

Yelp
Lovely lobby and cocktail bar. Just charming, especially during the holidays. Since our last visit however, they have taken ALL appetizers off the menu. There's not even pita bread and humus,no crackers, no cheese slices NOTHING. We went to,Bartson River downstairs for dinner as planned, ( very good) but we still wanted something pre dinner to soak up some of the alcohol. They used to offer charcuterie and a few other choices . They need to bring it back!

Yelp
Love the atmosphere of the bar. Drinks and wine selection are ok. I wish you could get some apps though.

Yelp
Fabulous experience. Great for a stay, for a meal or just for a drink and conversation.

Yelp
Beautiful. Reasonably priced. Great staff. Comfy beds. Everything was perfection. Located in the heart of town within walking distance of great food and quaint shops.

Yelp
This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. There's multiple spots in the lobby to sit with your drink and relax. The rooms are large with the most comfortable king sized beds. The roof top pool wasn't yet when we stayed, but we can't wait to go back when it is. The staff were very friendly and responsive. Our room was quiet; we never heard our neighbors. I'm not sure if that's because of the rooms or just the small size (33 rooms) of the hotel. As a female traveler, I do wish there was a deadbolt on the room doors. But you do need a room key to operate the elevator, so there is a little protection.

Yelp
We stayed overnight at the Lincoln and enjoyed the rest. First thing you notice upon entering is how beautiful the space is. Secondly is the overpowering scent. It is their signature scent that is piped thru the lobby area. I'm not normally bothered by scents but this is powerful & knowing several friends that can't tolerate perfume smells I'm sure some clientele would be physically uncomfortable. The room itself was beautiful & large. High ceilings & fireplace. Very well done. No perfumed air. We had dinner downstairs at Batson River. Very nice. Great bar.

Yelp
This place is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! We just stayed one night but I did not want to leave! Staff is very very friendly!

Yelp
We had a really good time at the bar. Didn't eat but had a couple cocktails that were professionally made and served in a professional manner. We enjoyed our time at the bar and look forward to coming back for food.

Yelp
Phenomenal...beautifully renovated mill building. Lobby area bar with excellent cocktails and some food with more coming soon from Batson River. Can't say enough about the beauty of this space, as well as the delicious drinks and service. Haven't tried food but will update when I do.

Yelp
if you're looking for upscale drinks in Biddeford (and can afford the prices,) this is the place for you, Our drinks were delicious! The Hotel Lobby bar reminds one of something out of the Old Port or San Francisco. Love how there are great niche places for small groups to gather and enjoy a beverage! Looking forward to seeing what the addition of Batson River's food and drink menu will do to keep people coming back because paying $20 for the tiniest charcuterie board ever leaves you feeling a tad hungry.

Yelp
This review is based only on the bar. I'm sure their rooms are pricey but gorgeous. My husband and I had enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Pacifico and left wanting a nightcap, so we decided to try out the new, fancy, Lincoln. This was Saturday night, and while there were people there it wasn't crowded or packed by any means. We were wowed by the beautiful interior decor-- and we sat down on a leather couch to pick out cocktails. Within 10 minutes a cheery young lady popped over with some handheld device to take our order. My husband ordered his cocktail, their version of a martini (yes, on the menu), at $15 a drink, and she raised an eyebrow as if she was unsure of its existence. Fast forward almost 25 minutes. We watched couples come in, trios, etc., watched the bartenders laughing, making their drinks, shaking and pouring... and not one single martini. Unsure of how to proceed, we didn't want to seem needy, at the 15 minute mark we said maybe let's just see if someone comes over? At 23 minutes of waiting for one drink... we left. You can keep your pretentious bar, Lincoln. If you're hoping to overlook people, ya nailed it!

Yelp
Great setting but expensive wine. $12 for 3 or 4 oz max. Beer $8 (craft only). I understand one has to make money but it felt like too little or too much $ on drinks. I just wanted to give fair review

Yelp
I'm confused why this is a not more highly rated. Family friendly and amazing. One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. Everyone is super friendly even to our young kids. Would def recommend this to families visiting Maine. The hotel restaurant and bar were amazing too and the pool.

Yelp
Swanky atmosphere. Reminiscent of a 1920's NYC gentlemen's club. Dark, sophisticated, classy. But. You're still in Biddo. Two yummy cocktails, two mediocre happy hour apps. $64 before tip.

Yelp
We visited the lobby bar of the Lincoln Hotel for the first time since its opening. The décor is very upscale yet fun. There is ample seating with lots of great conversational areas. It was a busy late Saturday afternoon when we visited. There was only one server who was working the lobby to take orders. We are very understanding and patient with staffing constraints. You cannot walk up to the bar to place an order. We waited 10 minutes for our order to be taken which we did not have an issue with. My husband's beer arrived within in a few. My drink which needed an additional ingredient didn't arrive for another 15 minutes. I would have preferred to just order a different drink had I known there would such a lengthy delay. We will be back. It is a very cool spot. Looking forward trying Batson River when they open there soon.

Yelp
I'm sitting here in the lounge. Been here multiple times and it's the same poor and ridiculously slow service. There is one waitress for the entire lounge! It's Christmas week and it's packed. I've watched a few parties get up and leave after having received no service after 40 minutes of waiting for their drink orders to be taken! While the ambiance is beautiful, the service does not match. I'd rather make the trek to Portland at this point.

Lisa Z.

Yelp
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this hotel! The staff at the Lincoln Hotel were very friendly and super helpful! Our experience was amazing! The beds were beyond comfortable and the rooms were very clean. The entire hotel is so unique and eclectic! The interior designer is spot on with every little detail! I can't wait to go back!!

Yelp
Bartender was very stressed out and rude. Expensive drinks with very little quantity and quality. Would rather spend my hard earned dollar elsewhere where bartenders are not rude and drinks are of better quality.
