The Line Sports Grill

I savored the turkey, avocado, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on a toasted everything bagel. Accompanying the sandwich was a delightful side of tater tots. Overall, I would rate this sandwich a solid 3 out of 5. It was a decent meal, but nothing extraordinary. Compared to most airport food, it was a refreshing improvement. The tater tots were also quite enjoyable. The total cost, including a tip, came to around $15, which was a reasonable price for a satisfying breakfast. The restaurant’s atmosphere exudes a cool and inviting vibe, which I personally find appealing.

Good service. We had Corona and Nachos prices were a little high but it’s an airport in NYC. We asked for some extra salsa and they gave it to the us with a smile. Grateful for a decent place to kill a long three hour layover. There are a lot of televisions with sports playing.

We spend 20 minutes trying to order. The Waiter gave us an Ipad to order ourselfs. Terrible system. No Apple pay option. No solutions from the staff. We wasted precious time. Not recommend at all. Avoid this spot

Had a quick snack and drink here before the flight. This is way down at the furthest gates in terminal c. Service was prompt and nice. This is a pay by browser app only place. They have no pos terminal here. Food tastes good. It was supposed to come with rye bread though not what looks like toast you get at an NYC diner. Typically the dish should be chips or possibly pita so it is odd. Overall prices are what I might expect at the airport. A bit high but not crazy. Overall good atmosphere. Lots of TVs with sports on it. I came when it was not very busy which plays a big role.

Food was great, let me start on a good note. The waitress didn't appear to know what she was doing, as she handed the iPad over to us so WE could input our order...which they got wrong, but the food was good nonetheless. My wife was a little hangry and was rude to them. I apologize for that. We had a difficult journey to get to NYC and had just got off the plane. The buns on the burgers we ordered were a bit cold, which was a curious choice on the restaurant, but it didn't detract from the taste. Burgers ARE pricey, though...$20/burger. Guess they gotta pay for that airport rent somehow. On a funny note, ever see some odd building fixes where they do something like cut into the wall to make room for the blades of a ceiling fan? If you look at the end of the bar, you'll see a large circular light that they cut into the wall to make room for. It's literally IN the wall. Check it out when you get the chance.

The portions were a good size, just not good food. I did the Szechuan Hot Chicken Sandwich with fries and I just can’t place what exactly it was. It was all dark meat but curled up like it had been dropped in a fryer - no coating or such. It tasted kinda burnt and disintegrated when I ate it. Weird. It came topped with an Asian slaw but it didn’t have much taste. The fries were not hit but again, a good size portion but they too tasted like they’d been fried a few times.

My crispy fish sandwich got returned. It had a tiny, flat old piece of fish that was maybe room temperature. I am considering filing a complaint with the local food inspectors. They all wore gloves but almost never change them. The cook picking up the raw chicken was handling everything back there with the same gloves on. A knife was knocked to the floor. A prep worker wiped it off with a towel from the white prep counter and put the towel back down on it. Several workers were picking from the foods and eating as they worked on customer’s orders.

This place is great! We dined here as we waited for our flight and the drinks were amazing. A special thanks to the manager with the glasses who was very attentive and made sure our food came out on time! I would definitely recommend 10/10

We had lunch before our flight at The Line Sports Grill and had a good experience. We got seated right away and it was a nice vibe. To drink, I got the Paloma. It was presented with black salt and a lime. It was pretty and refreshing. We shared the calamari as an appetizer and I was pleasantly surprised by how tender the squid was and how crispy and light the batter came out. For my entree, I got the turkey club. It was also surprisingly good. I really liked the black pepper aioli and I appreciated that they used high quality bacon and didn't put too much on the sandwich. The fries that came with it were also good. My mom and sister both got the Caesar salad and liked it. Service was a decent, but a little overwhelming. Our server seemed anxious and staff members checked in a little too much. I appreciated them, but it was a bit much. The check out process was lengthy. If they streamlined service a bit, it would improve the experience. However, I liked the food and would definitely come back.

Yet another sit down pub in LGA with moderate food selection and big prices. This spot was one of the few places left with seating on a Wednesday evening at the bar. All ordering must be done via QR code and the site it directs to. For drinks, they have a full bar, but the draft beers default to the largest pour (and the biggest price). Opted for a draft beer ($13) and wanted to get a small healthy side but wasn't really much of a choice there. TVs up top to keep you occupied before your flight. Basic place like the rest around the terminal. Probably better to drink/eat beforehand.

Got the Essex burger and a side of broccolini and it was great! Burger was a bit over cooked but the burger was thick, hearty and overall delicious. The fries that comes with are are like wedges and are fantastic. Crunchy hot and filling The bróccolini was cooked perfectly. Grilled and sautéed in a butter sauce. Great compliment to the burger! Overall, very happy and probably one of the more cheaper places to eat at the LGA airport!

Who wants to fly on an empty stomach? Not me! So I grabbed a bite from The Line Sports Grill. I tried something new and ordered the Szechuan Hot Chicken Sandwich (crispy cutlet, jalapeno coleslaw, herb salad, brioche bun, and sidewinder fries). I think there was just too much going on there. I did not like the chicken sandwich at all. Although the fries had an intriguing shape, they were a miss too. I should have stuck with something old. The customer service or human interaction was very minimal, a person just handed out the orders received from the kiosks. Next time, I'd fly past it.

I understand these places serve purpose and that is to feed people quickly, but there's a lot of room for improvement. This is the type of place where you order and pay online and the food gets delivered to you. I was entranced by the photo of their nachos on the menu. I was pretty excited to enjoy them. Once they arrived, I was disappointed. They did not resemble the photo in the least and truly were lacking. I will also add my water sat empty for the majority of my time there, and I was thirsty.

I can't decide what's worse here- the food or the customer service. 1) Don't go here 2) If you do, be warned that if you ordered from their takeout counter they will, under no circumstances, allow you to sit in the dining section to eat your food. Even if it's only at 10% capacity. I ordered the veggie burger and it was completely dry, the bun tasted like it had been in the freezer for the past year and defrosted in the microwave. Unfortunately this is one of the only restaurants on this side of the terminal, so they kind of force your hand to eat here. If you have time, walk the 5 minutes back to the main part of the terminal and go to a restaurant on that side.

I almost passed on this place but the next closest option was a pizza place or I could go a little further to a... pizza place...so, here it was Ordering was at a kiosk which didn't process my airline employee card for discount resulting in full price - ouch. But, hey, maybe this $20 sandwich is something amazing. Turns out, it's not. A giant slab of iceberg lettuce, a spot of tartar was discovered in the last bite, I could see the tomato but - much like the tartar - the speck of tomato only hit about 1/4 of the sandwich. On the upside, the fish was fried fresh and the potatoes were great. It was REAL fish, not processed pressed goop. Overall, I certainly won't be rushing off to find this place next time I'm through LGA & would probably head for the pizza instead, but if nothing else was open, I'd see if I could order just the potatoes.

Do I look shocked? Because I was completely shocked with how much I liked this restaurant. Before LGA's recent glowup, trying to sit down and eat was like trying to dress your cat...a frustrating experience that generally ended in tears. But after having arrived at LGA faster than anticipated and being super hungry, we sat down at the bar here because the burgers smelled so good. We were immediately greeted by a nice guy who got us waters and instructed us to use the QR codes to order. I got some cheese curds and an Essex burger. The food was served fairly quickly with a nice presentation. The curds were really good and the dipping sauce was out of this world. I really enjoyed those curds. The burger was outstanding! It was huge, with a big, meaty patty, lettuce and tomato and a really wonderful sesame seed bun. It was hard to eat it, it was so big. But it was really delicious, as were the fries that came with it. They were cut in a unique way and I told myself I'd only eat a few but ended up nearly finishing them. The best part was the burger was only $20, plus a couple of bucks because I ordered bacon on it. For an airport meal, this wasn't as crazy expensive as I anticipated and I thought it was a good value. Plus service was friendly and the team working there kept things clean and moving efficiently. The only knock I have is that there aren't any plugs at the bar and my phone was low on battery so it would have been nice to be able to charge it up. But otherwise, I'd eat here again!

I was in LaGuardia Airport Terminal c and was starving the choices where almost nothing as far as places to choose from. I decided to got o the only place available which was the Sport's Grill. I ordered a Turkey club sandwich and fries. I have to say they know they have got you when a sandwich is 18.00 and a water is 3.00 totally outrageous prices. The service was slow and there where 7 people behind the counter and only 2 where working?????. The food was actually really good. I give it an overall of 3 stars as service was not so good and pricing was very high. I would have given them 4 stars overall as the food was good, But between service and cost i can not give more than 3 stars and they probably deserve 2 stars..

The only place in my gate area to eat. They are very busy everything is done on an iPad or your phone. The drink was okay, you can see everyone in the kitchen working, it's not that big, no slot of seating if your a big party. And all of the seats are very close. The Aperol spitz wasn't good took two sips for $18.50 the pineapple juice was a lot better lol. The wings were crispy and I like them which made up for the drink and salad However, they should work on how to substitute items if they are out for equal value. Because the refund process is confusing to the staff that is working so how can they explain it to the customer, staff should be aware of what's out so when someone sits and submit an order after paying only to sit 5-10 min to be told they are out. Because that happened to 3 of us that ordered online what was out.

Long wait. Was it worth it? You be the judge. Nasty gristle chicken sandwich Fries were almost edible. One star for that. Also, I just wanted a receipt is that really such a big ask?

Great food and drinks amazing service! Totally recommend ! It's worth the money!! Know the prices at LGA are expensive so be prepared!

The food was actually really pretty good and I'm glad we stumbled upon this place instead of the other airport restaurants. We had the meatballs, quinoa pilaf, turkey club sandwich and bbq burger. They were all surprisingly tasty. I'm giving less stars because of the extremely rude South Asian waitress working on 7/31. She looked like she could be Burmese or Indonesian. We ordered from the takeout and then sat down. We did not know that in order to sit, you have to order in vs getting takeout. And honestly that's fine, it was her attitude that I did not appreciate. We were with our infant son and she was just so rude. We understand she has to work and make tips from the sit down, but her delivery was terrible, inappropriate, rude and unprofessional and she sees us struggling with our baby. We ordered a drink and more food so we can sit. She said she will still have to kick us out if more customers come in. There was no way I was going to move until I finished my food as a paying customer. Staff needs training.

BEWARE OF FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! They promote to have the Beyond Burger, so I ordered it. It was not the Beyond Burger it was a veggie patty, you can see the vegetables inside. ( not sure if it was vegan) The waiter challenge me, insisting it was the Beyond Burger as a fully vegan, I'm able to recognize the burger since it is one of my goes when it comes to burgers. He asked the chef and the chef insist it was the Beyond. My husband other a regular burger, which he described as one of the worst burgers he has ever had. They took a long time to serve, they were out of mustard, the couple next to us also complained about the mustard. It was a $40 + lunch for two burgers. I understand the airport cost but the quality does not justify the cost.

Server was rude and chef was not accommodating. We asked if lettuce or tomato could be added, we were told that it's not offered on kids burger. I offered to pay and server told us that we have order a $7 fry and maybe they could added it. The kids burger came out cold and only 5 five fries. ***Beware you tip before you are served***

If you need a quick bite in Terminal C and don't want to choose from 5 pizza options - this is your place. They serve BBQ burgers and fries that taste good. Ordering was very fast through a self service terminal and they have a few of them, so no line at all. It took no more than 10 mins to get my food and it was pretty solid by airport standards although still overpriced.

If you want to dine in, do not order on the touchscreens. When I arrived, the woman behind the bar wearing an apron told me that if I wanted to dine in, I needed to order on the touchscreens. After placing my order, I went to go sit down and then that same woman told me I couldn't sit there because I ordered to go. I asked to cancel the to-go order so I could order in but by the time I was directed to the form for a refund request, my food was already ready. I asked this woman why she directed me to the touchscreens after telling her I wanted to dine in and she shrugged her shoulders and said, "Sorry." The woman at the touchscreens was very helpful though. After a long day of traveling, I had been looking forward to sitting in a restaurant with a meal. This was a disappointing experience. To add on to it, food was bland and sub-par.

Will not let you sit down at their tables to eat the food that you order FROM THEM. Be aware that if you order to-go, they will make you go somewhere else even if spaces open up after you order. Staff was extremely rude.

Bad service. Unfortunately is the only restaurant around the gates 86-89. I would not recommend based on the service. The food is ok but the service takes away any willing to come back.

oh my.... maybe my favorite burger ever! could only eat half! my server was very nice and accommodating as well. I wish I could find another one of these to go to!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst service ever. Slow, with no sense of urgency. It took them an hour just for a chicken sandwich. All to just get burnt dry chicken.

35 dollars for a double shot of Tito's could not place an order until I had to scan a QR code. And it's a fixed tip. Since when was I tipping a Qr quode it should be up to me what I tip. Never again going back. That's not.

Served old bitter coffee and the worst bagel I've ever had. I was excited to get a New York bagel because they're the best! The sesame bagel I was served had to be many days old. Dry, tough and flavorless. Tater tots were good. Servers were helpful and friendly. Whoever manages the food service should be fired! Bagels are pretty simple and hard to ruin, unbelievable.
