"This collection of food trucks in downtown Traverse City remains as popular as ever. This summer, get in line for Juicy Oistre, up north for the season from Ann Arbor; or hit Crocodile Palace for fiery Szechuan.  During the warmer months, most people sit outside, but don’t miss the drinks that are being shaken inside — some of the most well-crafted cocktails in town." - Stacey Brugeman

Atmosphere is awesome! Super cool layout and premium seating options with shade and sun. Very dog friendly. Love the layout of the food trucks with great variety of options. Boozy drinks available from the bar. I marked low on service because there isn't any. Order yourself, clean up yourself. Nice people in the trucks, but they just hand you food. The food was good. Lobster rolls are tasty but high priced at $32/each for the 4 Oz roll. No fries or chips, just the roll. Burger was very reasonable at $12. Not great flavor, but it was good.

We stumbled upon this food truck and beer garden lot while traveling from Philly on our family road trip vacation around the Great Lakes. It's a great little place, dog-friendly, with a variety of food trucks that cater to everyone, which is especially handy when you have kids in tow. The atmosphere is inviting, and the food truck selection is diverse. However, the lines can be long, and it might take up to 15 minutes to get your food. The vendors are friendly, and the food is good, which makes the wait worthwhile. There's also a free water cooler available if you don't want to buy drinks. One downside was our experience with the bartender. When I asked for beer suggestions, she seemed offended and didn’t offer any help. This was a bit off-putting, but we found another stand offering adult beverages with better service. Despite this hiccup, if we're ever in the area again, we would certainly stop by. The overall experience, especially the friendly food truck vendors and the dog-friendly environment, makes it a spot worth revisiting.

Google
Big selection of foodtruck options. Lots of outdoor seating, some or which is covered. Beer selection is decent. Food is a little overwhelming to make a decision. I settled on the pizza and it was amazing.

Google
The Little Fleet was a big success. I absolutely loved this spot. I wish every city had a defined spot for food trucks to inhabit every day of the week, it is great to not have to hunt for trucks. The bar inside the main building has plenty of drink options. There is quite a bit of outdoor seating, but only a little inside, so keep that in mind depending on the weather. There's also a permanent dining option inside; Happy's Taco Shop, which is where we decided to get food from. The pork taco was piled high and delicious. Better than that though was the burrito bowl, which was incredible and a large portion. I highly recommend a visit to The Little Fleet.

Google
Cozy little outdoor patio area with multiple food trucks and building (The Little Fleet) to grab drinks from. Right out in the open when walking by!

Google
Fun place for lunch or dinner. Solid pizza for sure! We had dinner here the night before, got wonderful food from the Korean food truck. Loved every bite, but kept seeing the pizza on others tables, so we came back for lunch. Wish I would have taken photos at night as it was really festive with all the lights on... And the place was lively. We had an early lunch and although the food was delicious some of the vibe is missing in the day. Check it out!

Google
Awesome hangout spot! Great spot for groups as everyone can order separately and on their own. The BBQ, pizza and burgers were all good food options. Not a life changing meal but good for what it is. Solid selection of drinks at the bar as well.

This place is fairly packed when I go. Drinks are fast. Cool bartender name Jake is the guy to go see. Food is an okay variety. Food speed is good. Seating is hard to come by sometime.

Yelp
What a fun place! This is a must when visiting TC. I've been here twice - once on a Friday night and again on a Saturday afternoon. On Friday, it was a really cool bar scene with fire pits and drinks flowing. On Saturday, it was kid-friendly and a great place to eat good food, drink tasty drinks, and meet great people.

Victoriya H.

Yelp
Great concept but food we tried was a let down. Korean BBQ bowl was quite tasteless. Pizza wet in the middle. Lots of families with kids & you could get drinks at the bar. Overall, I was underwhelmed.

Jeannie B.

Yelp
This is a nice place to get a variety of food. We chose the Boss pizza and enjoyed it. Parking is vague and we parked a block away in front of someone's house. Obviously they are used to it.

Sheri B.

Yelp
Downtown venue with inside and outside seating. Welcomed immediately by friendly staff! Food offerings change monthly. Large tables inside, some high top tables and new low tables with cushion benches. Many draft options and a cocktail menu. Love the vibe and the outside area is open year round! Always a favorite while in Traverse City!

Yelp
Wow! Finally found a food truck like that in San Francisco's Spark Social SF! Score! :) It may be a little smaller with about 5 food vendors here at Traverse City, MI, but the food and bar variety looked good. It was hard to decide so I went to two vendors. I like to try odd things, so inside Mexican pop up on the right side in the back corner and found Happys Taco Shop and ordered the LAMB CHEESEBURGER TACO which is local ground lamb griddled w/ chihuahua cheese, iceberg lettuce, secret sauce, garlic pickle, onion and flour tortilla which was on the smaller side and I treat it like an appetizer. But at least I can say I tried it. It was good, but did wish it was bigger. Very light and one taco will not fill you up. The burritos are of normal size that can fill you up which my buddy ate happily. So for my main course I went back to the outside food trucks and ordered from Yanni food truck a local Gyro and Mediterranean food truck vendor and ordered Classic Lamb Gyro$13 Cucumber, Tomatoes, Red Onion, Lakeview Hills Parsley, Feta, Tzatziki. As I was in line at this time, the girl customer in front of me was trying to pick up the lady cashier in trying to exchange phone numbers. LOL I am not sure if it worked. That was interesting. But I wanted my food in this hot sunny day, please move along! Finally waited patiently waited for my order and then took it back to my seat. Yes it was great and went well with my meal so now I was full. Tasty and great gyro truck. I wanted to try the BBQ on the opposite side because the menu and food also looked good. Michigan is really a nice state to travel through, the land of cherries. Very relaxing, no rush like that in a big city like San Francisco or New York. I was with a tour group that went around famous spots in Michigan. Nice overlooked state for fun vacation travels

Yelp
Such a great little spot downtown! Little Fleet is perfect for a group- you can choose between so many different food trucks and different drink options everyone will be happy! Service is quick and all the food trucks use buzzers so you don't have to hover. I've had a few different food items- all good- but the tacos, specifically the lamb cheeseburger really take the cake. Absolute must stop in Traverse City!

Courtney M.

Yelp
Cute little spot and definitely worth a visit if you are visiting TC! Lots of food truck options available and always bustling with people! My favourite would be the shrimp tacos. The orders are usually ready within 10 minutes. You can also just stop by for a drink! The only negative is that it can get pretty busy on weekends. The seating area is limited and sometimes hard to find a spot for a sit-down meal/drink especially for a larger group. There is street parking nearby but you have to pay (not very much) and hard to find a spot too.

Yelp
I can NOT believe it has taken me this long to write a review of The Little Fleet! Every time I come to the Traverse City area, I always make my way to The Little Fleet at some point or another. I have come here so frequently that I simply just assumed I had already written a review of this spot because how could I have not?!?!?! Imagine my surprise (and horror, frankly) when I discovered I hadn't written one yet! Well, I am here to correct this grievous oversight on my part TODAY! In short, The Little Fleet is ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT! There - you really don't have to read any further and can go ahead and direct yourself towards this delightful courtyard of food trucks now! Enjoy your time! If you must know more about this incredible place then read on, I suppose! The Little Fleet occupies this entire corner of Front St (the main street of downtown Traverse City) on one end of the downtown area. It's a really easy place to walk to from basically anywhere in downtown and the perfect stop for a snack or a meal before or after or DURING your time in downtown! Little Fleet is made up of a building where there's indoor seating, a bar, and a food menu (I believe it's tacos) that you can order from, but why would you do any of that when, in addition to this building, there's a whole courtyard of seating and food trucks AND outdoor bar as well!?! The food trucks don't rotate regularly, but there are 5-6 options at least for you at any given time. I think at this point I've tried them all and frankly, I love them all! It just depends on what mood you're in when you come here! BBQ? Burgers? Pizza? Thai? The options are endless! I believe the food trucks leave once the weather gets too cold for outdoor dining, but as soon as the weather gets warm again next year, they'll be back out in full force and I can't wait to see which favorites return and which new trucks show up just WAITING for me to stop by and become a new favorite! This place is the absolute best for whatever you're getting up to in Traverse City and always a good time! It's especially great and easy for larger groups, especially if you've walked around all of downtown looking for somewhere to dine but everywhere is full, has a super long wait, or just can't accommodate a party larger than 6! Love you, Little Fleet! Thanks for always being PERFECT!

Yelp
A really fun time with our large (15-deep!) family group including both adults and a few young kiddos. Everyone had their choice of eats due to the 5 or so food truck options and folks also had a wide selection of drink (alcoholic or not) options as well. I am a sucker for 'Que, so of course I went for the Cordwood BBQ truck. I had a two meat platter with sides of potato salad and mac-n-cheese and the plate also came with a grilled slice of Texas toast. Everything was delicious...the pulled pork was good, but the sliced brisket was absolutely heavenly with a great bark and a deep smoke ring. Mmmm, mmmm good! If you are looking for a lively atmosphere and a wide selection of food and drink choices this is the spot for you!

Lauren P.

Yelp
This place was really cool and seemed to be like a very popular spot to go on a Friday night. There are a couple different food trucks and two bars to order food from. When we visited there was live music going and it really made for a fun environment! The staff at the bar "inside" wasn't super friendly and all the seating is first come first serve and so many people were looking for a table. It got a little awkward just standing around waiting for someone to leave and then being watched as you ate dinner/had a drink. I wish it was just a little bigger of a space to accommodate all the traffic! Overall a fun spot, if you're not eating there is a lot of standing room but get there early to snag a table.

Rayce P.

Yelp
We love eating at food trucks, but it can be hard to track them down. The Little Fleet does that for you by providing a small plaza where several trucks gather to serve food! There are some permanent establishments like Happy's Taco Shop (highly recommend their Potato Taco), but there are some trucks that seem to change regularly. It's a busy spot, but the ambiance is casual and friendly. Definitely worth checking out next to me you're in Traverse City!

Ethan Y.

Yelp
[The Little Fleet] Local area in Traverse city that hosts different food trucks, contains a bar, and oftentimes have different musical bands playing Started with a Wapisa Sauvignon Blanc from the bar [Cordwood BBQ] Smoked meats and BBQ inspired food truck. Got the 2 meat plate with Smoked Brisket and Korean BBQ Tofu. Potato salad and Mac & cheese for sides. The brisket was good but not the best I've had. It had flavor and the BBQ sauce was good but it wasn't very tender and juicy as smoked Brisket should be. I'm from the South so I have high expectations. The toast was crazy good. So buttery literally soaked in butter. [Happys Taco Shop] Got the Crispy Shrimp taco and the smoked potato taco. They were both crazy good. Honestly some of the best tacos I've ever eaten so good. http://www.thelittlefleet.com/food-1 448 E Front St Traverse City, MI 49686

Yelp
This interesting concept in Traverse City, MI is a building housing a bar and taco stand with a large covered outdoor seating area surrounded by a group of food trucks. I went for lunch, and the four trucks there offered barbecue, pizza, craft hamburgers and Asian street food. I opted for Asian street food from the "Good on Wheels" truck, which is owned by The Good Bowl restaurant, located just down the street. I opted for their Bao buns (soft, fluffy, and sweet steamed bread) stuffed with pork belly in an asian sauce with sliced cucumber and chopped scallions (3 for $13 - pictured). It's also offered with either lime chicken or marinated mushrooms. The pork was very flavorful and tender and was perfectly paired with the Bao buns. I had a Thai tea, which is a black iced tea blend with asian coconut milk, boba & sweetened condensed milk ($6.). It was creamy and sweet and, while I thought it was delicious, it doesn't really quench your thirst. Still, I'd totally get it again. I'm going back again to try some of the other trucks (and also the Good Bowl restaurant).

Yelp
We love this little food truck park! They have an excellent selection of food and the cocktail bar is super swanky. We especially love the BBQ and tacos. It can be crowded, but it's right off downtown and they often have live music so that's expected. We have been interested in going to one of their little concerts but they are very expensive.

Christina G.

Yelp
Love the little fleet! Group of food trucks in the downtown area. You can choose tacos, bbq, Asian, Mediterranean all in one place- plus a bar for beverages. Seating is a variety of bleachers, tables, pic-nick tables. Be ready to share in crowded days! The service depends on which food truck you choose. Get ready to get your beeper from the truck of choice. Great for large groups, a variety of foods and a relaxed outdoor dining experience.

Yelp
LOVED this place!!! Food trucks & bar & an amazing patio! Such a cool and unique place in Traverse city. We got some chips and salsa from Happy Taco Shop and the salsa so fire!!! So good! Beans and corn and the perfect amount of spice! I also tried the potato taco and can I say this is one of the best tacos I've ever had??? It had crispy cheese and pepita crunch on top. The veggie slaw was insane. My brother had the shrimp taco and said the same. We also tried the Traverse City Pizza Company and we had the farm to table pizza! There were mushrooms, caramelized onions, asparagus, goat cheese and balsamic Glaze. This was INCREDIBLE!! I want to remake this at home!! My dad had a rice bowl from Good on Wheels and was underwhelmed. Otherwise I will definitely be back! The patio was awesome, they have fun music at night and overall just a great atmosphere. I wish we had this place in Chicago. Finally they have sparkling water ON TAP!! At the bar!! I am in love !

Adrian And Rob L.

Yelp
Great vibes! Happy's Taco shop was delicious. I got the Super Burrito with roasted pork. 10/10 would eat another one 5 mins later. Too good not to. Outdoor seating is great. dog friendly. I will definitely be back soon!

Raji V.

Yelp
Would definitely recommend stopping by they have various food trucks, covered and uncovered seating. For the chilly nights there is a fire pit. You see a lot of regulars and tourists, people of all ages. It can be pretty loud but you still see families with babies enjoy the food and company. They offer tacos, gyros, kbbq, pizza, &bbq. Would recommend Happy tacos. Shrimp tacos were great, my husband likes the lamb cheeseburger and potato tacos.

Abhilash T.

Yelp
Always One of my favorite spots in all of traverse city. I love all the rotating food trucks, but the already established Happy's is by far my favorite. The smoked potato and crispy shrimp were the tastiest, or so I thought until I tried the cheeseburger taco. Dude, what the F, it's phenomenal! The chihuahua cheese must be the kicker, this is one elevated, gourmet taco. The drink I got was called the spicy dragon, I believe. It slaps. I think I've tried something from each truck but this time around I stuck with happy's, and that made me happy.

Julia M.

Yelp
We had a tough time finding dog friendly spots and are so glad we stumbled across this place - we had such a nice time here! There were plenty of local beers on tap and available by can. The service was great. We sampled a few things from the food trucks - the BBQ salad was particularly delicious and hearty! Definitely recommend the stop!

William B.

Yelp
It's welcoming and casual and yet I still didn't feel nearly cool enough for this spot, with all of its well-rested athletic couples happily day-drinking. But that's on me. There's lots of nice space and the food was not bad -- the cheeseburger taco from Happy's was interesting enough that it's worth trying, even if it did have too much burger sauce, and my son loved the macaroni and cheese from the BBQ truck. So all in all it did just what we needed.

Joseph H.

Yelp
SERVICE: N/A FOOD QUALITY: 5 DRINK QUALITY: 5 ORDER TIME: 5 AESTHETICS: 5 NOISE LEVEL: 5 MENU SELECTION: 5 OVERALL EXPERIENCE: 5 If you are in traverse city and don't stop here then you made a mistake in your meal planning. This place is an absolute gem. The food is fabulous. The options are vast and the setting is exciting. It's not just food trucks, but an A+ experience. Since moving to Michigan I have really missed good tacos considering I came from the west coast. I have to say that these have been the best tacos I've had in this part of the country. They are perfectly made, not too greasy and have a authentic Mexican flavor. The Asian food was also amazing. I personally liked the dumplings the most. They were so flavorful and packed full of meat. Overall this was the best stop on our visit. Wish we had something like this in Grand Rapids. A must go if visiting!

Ruby D.

Yelp
Absolute Gem in TC. IYKYK. Quintessential summer. Summer brings out the best food trucks in town. Full bar.

Abby M.

Yelp
Pesto pizza was the bomb Jalla drink was superb Staff was very pleasant and food came up quickly

Marin C.

Yelp
A co-worker told me she visits this place during weekdays, I followed suit. On evenings and weekends it is overrun. There are two bars and four food trucks, plus an additional food vendor in the interior (Happy's Taco's). The trucks I saw included: Cordwood BBQ, A brick oven Pizza truck, A Korean food truck, and the one I visited which was Yanni's Greek truck. I ordered stuffed grape leaves (aka dolmas) and it came with a cold marinated pepper and cucumber salad. Delish!

Richard S.

Yelp
Favorite spot in Traverse City. The entire crew has a great time every time we come here. Something for everybody!

Lala L.

Yelp
Fun setup with mostly outdoor seating...not ideal if it's not and busy because shade can be limited, but there are shaded tables. Drink menu was extensive - something for everyone. Food options are diverse and delicious - also something for everyone.

Kristen R.

Yelp
Great place to grab a drink and meet up with friends. The food trucks have a paging system that works wonderfully. So you can order, go grab a drink. Find a table and wait for your pager to go off. It is also dog friendly so plenty of pooches to love on!

Sophia N.

Yelp
The food is so good!! A few options but definitely could use some more styles if they decided to add anything!! The live music is key so when I'm in town I like to look up when they are having live music because that's what makes it great. So many dogs there which always makes people happy. Obviously kind of pricey cocktails but they are nice fresh ingredients.

Ben H.

Yelp
Little fleet is great. Lots of seating indoor and out. They have tons of events all year, pop-ups for up and coming restaurants, live music, food trucks in the summer and Happys Taco Shop is a permanent resident now so that's amazing. Cocktails are pretty solid, weds night is fun tiki night. Little Fleets staff is like everyone's extended family, they're amazing and treat them well because they're all rockstars!

Julie N.

Yelp
We had a great lunch and this was such a cute spot! I loved having all the choices from the different food trucks. We split a meal of orange chicken and it was delicious and plenty of food! Highly recommend!

Madison D.

Yelp
Awesome hang out with several food truck varieties! A great area for foodies, tourists, and friends.

Al H.

Yelp
The Little Fleet has anchored in Traverse City and brings a great selection of food from Vietnamese to BBQ. Covid Theater Al fresco mandates face coverings and a wait for access but it seemed to move quickly. Pulled pork sandwich was very good if short on sauce. Vietnamese was excellent from the dumplings to the wings. Nice vinegary dipping sauce was fresh and tangy. Service was slow due to the wings fried to order but we were warned. Drinks at the bar were good although small. Seltzer and water on tap gratis is a nice touch. Parking lot venue doesn't mean parking lot prices. A family of 5 (us) easily blew through most of $100. But it's vacation fun tickets that are meant to be burned through. So the fleet is in and serving up great fare. Permission to come aboard sir???? Of course........ Go!

Adam B.

Yelp
Little Fleet was the perfect end to a beautiful day-trip around the Leelanau Penninsula! We were a little tired but wanted to find a place that my wife and I would enjoy, but also satisfy my daughter who tends to eat like any 11 yr old. Little Fleet fit the bill perfectly with their myriad of food truck choices. Everything smelled incredible. I also really applaud their commitment to keeping their staff and customer safe given the current pandemic. You're required to wear a mask when you enter and when you're not at your own table. A small inconvenience to keep everyone safe! My daughter decided on a cheeseburger and a side of fries from the Glendale Ave Food truck. The burger was a perfect diner burger; tasty bun, good, quality beef patty cooked thin so it had a bit of crust, zesty cheddar, and the perfect size for the price. The fries were amazing though! Cooked with just enough time to have a slight crunch without being too crispy. My wife got the Bao Buns from Good on Wheels. They were excellent! The perfect portion, not too much but also enough to fill you up if you're eating sensibly. And the hoisin sauce on the pork belly bun was amazing. I got a small bite of that one, so I can't comment on the taste of the chicken bao bun, but it looked fantastic! It took me a while to decide, but I landed on the Connoisseur meal (2 proteins, 2 sides) - I had two portions of brisket! It was really beautifully done. I haven't tried making brisket myself, but if it's difficult, I applaud the pitmaster who cooked this brisket. It had the perfect smoke ring and a good layer of fat to flavor the meat and add some juiciness. And the value for what I got was incredible. My only point of disappointment was finding out that Milkweed was closed. Hopefully, it's not closed permanently!! Again, hats off to all hospitality for your resilience, creativity, and attentiveness to safety during this weird time of COVID pandemic!

Emily G.

Yelp
And all the parents of toddlers said "hallelujah". Good food, strong drinks, and somewhere my kid can run free without distubing anyome else?! Sign me up evey day of the week. Thankfully you could come here every day of the week with food options aplenty to keep things fresh. Get here early to snag a table because you'll want to hang out here for awhile!

Mo D.

Yelp
Sabores Y Colores is the best authentic Mexican food I've had in Michigan! Everything my family ordered was not only appealing to the eye but was absolutely DELICIOUS! If you haven't tried it, you are missing out!

Aditi P.

Yelp
Always a go to spot of mine when in traverse city. Let's start with how the bar it self is a show room, there is also delicious craft cocktails and 5+ food option trucks. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. This is THE summer spot in my opinion.

Stephanie R.

Yelp
Love love love this place! Cool place that is dog friendly. Pros: Six different places to eat with 5 being food trucks. Asian cuisine, pizza, tacos and burgers. Cool environment and dog friendly Live music Tacos and fries from Glendale and happy's taco shop are amazing! Recommend the shrimp they can make it non spicy Offer dog water bowls at the bar Cons: No reservations taken Parking can be hard to find

Lea W.

Yelp
Great spot to eat with a group as there are many options to choose from (it's set up like an outdoor food hall with multiple permanent food trucks) - though it may be difficult to find a table due to its popularity!

Stuart L.

Yelp
Very cool concept. A bar with its own line-up of food trucks! All the food trucks this night were enticing. Don't think that we could have gone wrong, no matter which one that we chose. Not entirely sure about their selection of drinks as during COVID they were trying to limit the number of the people in the actual bar area (although some people clearly were not adhering to the requests) but it looked like a full bar with beer on tap (featuring their own selection). I'd go back again, especially when the social distancing requirements are appropriately relaxed. The hostess at the entrance to the bar had the toughest job of the night, monitoring and controlling who came in (with masks) while being cordial and helpful. Too bad that some folks refused to wear masks once in the door and walking around (no requirement to wear a mask when seated at your own table).

Karrie B.

Yelp
The Little Fleet is a fun party all summer long! Live music, tons of delicious food options and good drinks. My family is partial to Happys Taco Shop, but all of the food options are solid.

Ricki T.

Yelp
Fun, lively place on a Friday night. Great selection of food trucks. Fantastic band the night we went.

Andrea C.

Yelp
Love the concept because my family often has different food preferences so this was a place we could all eat what we wanted. I opted for Cordwood Barbecue which had a tofu option and had sides of Mac and cheese and potato salad. Everything tasted very good. Appreciate the dog-friendly patio with lots of shade as well! We noticed most nights there was a line to get in. We went during lunch shortly after they opened and had no wait. I think even with a line it would be worth waiting for.

Makayla J.

Yelp
The first place we were told to go eat at by our hotel was The Little Fleet. They said that they had many different food trucks with various cuisines to match our different palates. I was super excited. I decided to try the Pork Belly Bao Buns and the Pulled Pork A La Carte with the Jalapeño Cornbread. The Bao buns were really underdeveloped as far as taste goes. Pork Belly is already a flavorful cut of meat, but somehow it was really flavorless. I was looking for big tangy and savory flavors. The cucumber would've been better off being a pickle to add an extra zing that the dish was sadly missing. The pulled pork was amazingly delicious along with the sweet and tangy bbq sauce. The cornbread was just a little too sweet. I prefer my cornbread sweet but not to this extent. The only thing that saved the cornbread was the nice spice that it had. Overall kind of underwhelming. Maybe next time I'll have to try the taco, burger or pizza place but I won't hold my breath.

Sarah M.

Yelp
A decent place to kill time but I wouldn't make it a required stop. We had 3 drinks & weren't impressed with any of them. The Asian food truck was ok. When there's live music, you won't be able to hear the people you're sitting with. But it's a cute idea and conveniently located.

Delanie M.

Yelp
since i rated the trunk i ate from separately, this review will pertain less to the food but the experience at the little fleet. the little fleet is a super cool venue hosting 4 food trucks and 1 vendor inside. i'm not sure if these rotate ever but when i went there was bbq, pizza, burgers, asian cuisine, and mexican. i really liked the outdoor seating area but it was a little chilly and there weren't many space heaters so we sat inside. the beers list was not impressive to me... just a lot of pilsners... not much variety...and they seemed to be out of a lot of canned beers and the wines they offered. since we were sitting inside, once the dj started the music it was so loud we had to get out of there but i get it since it needs to reach everyone outside. overall i really enjoyed the concept and the ambiance. my bbq was not great and i wouldn't get it again but maybe next time i'd try the impossible burger from the burger truck.

Chris C.

Yelp
Great selection of food and drinks. Everyone in my family was happy. Plenty of places to sit.

Donovan H.

Yelp
Nice outside dining experience. Went into the bar area and asked bartender about his signature drink. Didn't have one. So I ordered a dark and stormy. He put way too much lemon in it that the rum was nonexistent and no ginger beer but probably ginger ale which doesn't go well with this drink. Food truck are ok. Ordered brisket from one of them and Mac and cheese and cowboy beans. Brisket dry and beans just ok

Liz P.

Yelp
An Instagrammer who I follow posted about The Little Fleet before I came to Traverse City this weekend, and I knew I wanted to try it out. It's definitely reminiscent of Detroit Fleat (Ferndale, MI), but much larger. My three friends and I snagged a table and then went to the trucks in pairs to find food. I ended up getting a pulled chicken sandwich with cherry BBQ sauce, from the Cordwood BBQ truck, but it was just okay; I'm not a big fan of coleslaw in sandwiches, so that might have been it. It also came with chips and pickles. I also got the parmesan fries, from the Glendale Ave. (I think?) truck, and those were FANTASTIC ... thanks for the heads up on those, fellow Yelpers. My friends got tacos from the taco truck, including lamb tacos, and really enjoyed them. Another friend got mac 'n cheese from the BBQ truck but said it was just okay, but said the cornbread (from the same truck) was very good. I also recommend checking out Milkweed, inside the restaurant, because they had some global eats that looked really good ... Thai burger, etc. I wish I had gone inside first before settling on the food trucks. They also have free tap and sparkling water inside, by the bar, so keep a lookout for that. Overall, I'd like to come back here to try some of the other trucks ... I enjoyed all my food but wasn't really blown away by anything, although the Parmesan fries were delicious.

Yelp
SO MANY OPTIONS! And a really cool place on top of that! We were here for a pre-wedding, rehearsal dinner sort of large group gathering. The venue is a perimeter of food trucks set up around open-air seating and tables. At the back of the space is an indoor bar and some indoor seating. In pleasant weather, spending the evening here, if only just for a short time, would be wonderful. As part of the event we were there with, we were given four tokens to be used for any food item and any drink we wanted (two of each). This is a cool way to do a special group thing without having to book a whole space, and cater a specific meal. There is a lot of space here to sit and mingle, and there is a great variety of food stuffs to choose from! Something for everyone to enjoy! The bar offers beer and wine and liquor and cocktails as well, so again...something for every taste! For my food options, I went with a sushi roll that really hit the spot, and some parmesan fries which were the best because...well, you can't go wrong with fried potatoes and cheese. Amirite?! I also indulged in a couple cocktails while there. They were all delicious! The Manhattan was fabulous, the April in Paris was refreshing, and the Its Rhubarbara Actually was different and tasty! If you are in the Traverse City area, I would absoLUTEly recommend you stop by and enjoy some time at the Little Fleet. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
