An Instagrammer who I follow posted about The Little Fleet before I came to Traverse City this weekend, and I knew I wanted to try it out. It's definitely reminiscent of Detroit Fleat (Ferndale, MI), but much larger.
My three friends and I snagged a table and then went to the trucks in pairs to find food. I ended up getting a pulled chicken sandwich with cherry BBQ sauce, from the Cordwood BBQ truck, but it was just okay; I'm not a big fan of coleslaw in sandwiches, so that might have been it. It also came with chips and pickles. I also got the parmesan fries, from the Glendale Ave. (I think?) truck, and those were FANTASTIC ... thanks for the heads up on those, fellow Yelpers.
My friends got tacos from the taco truck, including lamb tacos, and really enjoyed them. Another friend got mac 'n cheese from the BBQ truck but said it was just okay, but said the cornbread (from the same truck) was very good.
I also recommend checking out Milkweed, inside the restaurant, because they had some global eats that looked really good ... Thai burger, etc. I wish I had gone inside first before settling on the food trucks.
They also have free tap and sparkling water inside, by the bar, so keep a lookout for that.
Overall, I'd like to come back here to try some of the other trucks ... I enjoyed all my food but wasn't really blown away by anything, although the Parmesan fries were delicious.
