French-inspired pastry shop offering handmade eats & treats from crème fraiche quiche to tarts.
"This Little Tart’s location brings espressos, coffee, and a variety of teas to the under caffeinated neighborhood. But what we love most about Little Tart is the pastries that are so full of flavor that even Paul and Prue would be impressed. Peering into the glass pastry case, it’s hard not to order everything, but the fruit tarts—which are not little in square footage or flavor (strawberry is our go-to)—and savory quiches are always a good idea. Massive windows on either side of the door spill happy light into the sitting area that’s usually stuffed with friends meeting over a cuppa or university students clacking away on their computers." - juli horsford, demarco williams
"With locations in Grant Park and Summerhill (as well as a Krog Street Market outpost), Little Tart is an ideal breakfast destination for those who prefer sweet and savory pastries or breakfast sandwiches on house-baked bread. On the weekends, waffles and French toast are available." - Lia Picard, Henna Bakshi
"Those who’ve been frequenting the original location of Little Tart in Grant Park since the beginning (when it was sharing space with Octane) might remember when the bakery and cafe served beer, wine, and cocktails in the evening. Little Tart After Dark channels that energy again on Friday and Saturday nights, from 5 to 9 p.m. Low-key bar vibes keep patrons coming back for more along with spritzes, boozy slushies, and cocktails like the classic Kir Royale, a Sazerac, and a breakfast martini. Grab a drink and find a seat at the bar, in the cafe, or on the patio." - Allison Ramirez, Eater Staff
"Little Tart has two other locations (in Grant Park and a stall inside Krog Street Market). But when we need to unplug from fast-paced life, we head to the one in Summerhill. It’s small, never crowded, and feels like we’re in a town with a population of 600. Massive windows on either side of the door spill light into the sitting area that’s usually stuffed with locals stopping in for coffee and GSU students clacking away on their computers. It’s hard not to order everything in their glass pastry case, but the giant fruit tarts available in several flavors (strawberry is our go-to), and savory quiches are always a good idea." - juli horsford
"Octane is one of the pioneering shoppes of coffee culture in Atlanta. Their Grant Park location shares a bright, airy space with The Little Tart Bakery — a made-from-scratch, locally-sourced pastry heaven. Housed in "The Jane" — a refurbished Atlanta warehouse — the feel is industrial and modern with exposed brick walls, lofted ceilings and garage doors. Sunlight and a soft breeze stream through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The atmosphere is creative and communal, day or night. Coffee turns to cocktails at the turn of eve, so you're pretty much always welcome to grab a hand-batch caramello or a custom mule and make a new Atlanta friend. Our favorites to try? Any of their pour-overs, an Americola and the Little Tart quiche, YUM!" - Matchstic
