Cute Bakery with a full GF-Vegan Menu This Bakery is the perfect place for gluten-free vegans. Their entire menu from sandwiches to cupcakes to drinks are all gluten free and vegan! I stopped by to grab a sweet treat after lunch. I tried their orange cardamom chocolate cupcake and a Mushroom Golden Chai. Both items were wonderfully warm with rich spices. Orange and Chocolate are a perfect match which the cardamom really enhanced. I particularly thought the orange icing was a standout. The cake was moist and not super crumbly. The cake didn’t fall apart as soon as I was biting into it. The Golden Chai was really flavorful and went really with the oat milk. It paired very nicely with the cupcake. I would definitely come back to try their brunch menu. Though be warned, parking is very limited as it is street parking only. They do not advise to park in the parking lot next to their building.

The best spot in KC for gluten free and vegan treats! As someone who can’t have gluten or dairy, it’s so nice to order here without having to worry about my dietary restrictions. Not to mention, it’s delicious! My latte and biscuits were so tasty. The service was also great! Would highly recommend littlest bake shop!!

They were doing a special that donated proceeds to KCPRN pig rescue so we had to drop by. All vegan so the menu was fully accessible. Had the BBQ jackfruit sandwich plates and also snagged a couple pastries each for the wife and I. They didnt last the day.. Love this place and highly recommend.

Wonderful little coffee shot. I had a perfectly prepared latte with orange and cardamom syrup, it was delicious. The staff were really friendly. Random, but the dishware in this restaurant was extremely cute. Bathrooms were clean. Can't wait to stop by again.

Go, just go! The breakfast sampler was incredible, great serving size; it gave me 2 breakfast and it was just as amazing the 2nd time! The scone I cannot express how great it was. Best London fog I've had in the city. So great we each got another for the following day. The staff is incredibly taleneted and just as friendly. Open, clean kitchen where it's fun to enjoy seeing the magic be made. Make sure to make this a stop on your list, you're missing out if you don't! My photo is terrible but it's because the food was so good I forgot to take a picture of how great it looked before I dug in.

A cute little coffee shop / restaurant / bakery in about three equal parts. Although we mostly go for the food, and maybe a drink. A bright friendly atmosphere with books and plants. A large family / community table by the front glass garage door. The Tofu Burnt Ends were delicious and definitely a favorite, as was the barbequed jackfruit! The TLT/BLT was tasty. The wife loved the Breakfast Sandwich. The Buffalo Cauliflower Baked Crispy Potatoes, the potatoes were great as always, the cauliflower was a little spicy and a bit on the lightly done side. Crispy cheese across the top. The New York Deli Hoagie, could have used some roasted red peppers or something to add a little more than mostly vegan cheese. But if you want something light it could work. Their sandwiches are a little on the small side, but delicious and they come with fruit or delicious crispy potatoes and greens which makes for a pretty filling meal all together. The salsa for the potatoes is very flavorful. Could use a little dressing for the greens. They are allergy friendly, no dairy, eggs, or gluten. If you haven't been by yet, I highly recommend stopping by to check things out! One of our favorite brunch spots.

This place has gained a special home in my heart. My wife and I have tried various vegan restaurants and this was the best hands down. It was nice to go out, and for once have the food resemble what we make in our own kitchen, or to receive food that wasn’t just tossed into a microwave. There was intention here, there was creativity here, there was love here. And we gladly received every ounce of it. I appreciate the kindness that was extended our way, and truly hope this remains the Vegan Gem of KC. As a 5 year Vegan, I appreciate what you’re offering to us as a collective. Amazing🤍

Delicious options for those who have to eat gluten-free and veg AND those who don’t! Half of our crew are gluten-free by necessity, half are vegetarian, others have no dietary restrictions. We all choose The Littlest Bake Shop often. At brunch, biscuits and gravy or a tofu scramble. The sandwiches at lunch and early dinner are so good, the buns baked on-site are amazing. We get really excited about pizza days and are conflicted between pickle and BBQ with bakon as our favorite. The sweet treats are always delicious and the variety is ever-changing. Put a stop here on top of your list!

Yes! Eat here. All are welcome here! The food is so good you could bring your omnivore friends. Since it is 100% plant based and 100% gluten-free there are so many options for those with dietary restrictions. Also, the ingredients that have soy are labeled. The staff is super friendly and helpful if you have any questions about the menu. There is also a bathroom for customers.

TL;DR: This cafe is super cute and it's worth stopping by for a cupcake and a coffee if you're allergic to gluten and dairy or you're vegan. If you're neither of those things and wondering if it's worth a visit, I'd say you're better off sticking with options like French Market in Brookside. For food options, check out Cafe Gratitude, Whole Harvest Kitchen, or naturally vegan options like Blue Nile Cafe. The cupcakes here are generally high quality and have a great crumb to them, BUT I would recommend getting one cupcake of any given flavor first and making sure you like it before buying up a dozen or ordering a cake. The cupcakes here can be hit or miss, with some having a mushier texture or muddier flavor to them. Apart from the consistency issue, the only reason I wouldn't recommend The Littlest Bake Shop's pastries is because of the frosting. The frosting here is on the stiff, sugary side, which makes for pretty cupcakes but less than ideal mouthfeel. If you prefer frosting on the lighter side, this place likely isn't for you. I was a little bit more disappointed by the food. I ordered the Grilled Cheeze and the Littlest Big Brunch, and while everything was okay, nothing stood out. The greens on the side of the Grilled Cheeze were just spring mix without any kind of dressing, and the gravy was a weird gummy texture. Both dishes were way overpriced compared to the portion size, and the salt and pepper potatoes were the best part of each. Overall, I wanted to love this place much more than I actually did and would come back for a cupcake but not for the food.

We stopped in here on a Sunday afternoon. I got a vanilla oat milk latte (yum) and "The Midwest" biscuits and gravy which comes served with potatoes and I opted for a side of the vegan sausage patty. My wife got "The Littlest Big Brunch" which consists of a tofu scramble, biscuit or toast, potatoes and a sausage patty. Everything (and I do mean EVERYTHING) was absolutely delicious. The food is made from scratch so it does take a little while to come out, but it's well worth the wait. Staff were friendly and attentive and kept our waters full. As a gluten glutton, I can't believe how flavorful all the GF options are. I love that everything here is vegan and gluten free. I will definitely dine here again!

GF/DF biscuits and gravy! Yes please! The gravy had a unique tang but the biscuits were very good. So hard to find GF AND DF options. Service was quick and you order at the window.

This restaurant is one of my favorite places to go and eat. Super cute atmosphere Not only do they have wonderful drink and food options but they make the cutest cakes, cupcakes, and more! Gluten free and vegan, you can also have them exclude soy! Iris, the owner and chef, is there every time I go, and she is working just as hard as everyone else there to make your experience wonderful. She's also very helpful in answering questions that you may have About the menu or otherwise. I have been there multiple times and have never had anything that I didn't love. They also make everything fresh when you order and almost everything is customizable. Sometimes they have special menu items. I recommend going on days when they have pizza! It's amazing and the crust is out of this world! The chicken bbq is what I last had and the bbq sauce had this wonderful sweet and tangy flavor. Stop in and say hello to Iris and the team! You won't be disappointed!

I had an amazing experience at the littlest bake shop. We went there on a trip to visit my great aunt and all the food we got there was amazing. We had a swift wait in a small line and our order was taken quickly. We had a great chat with the person who took our order. We sat outside behind the restaurant and the trees and birds made it all have a very cozy feel. If your in kansas city, COME HERE!!!

Have had some great sweets from here in the past but recently went and expierenced a below average lunch. The food was pretty overpriced for a very small sandwich and side of undressed greens and soft potatoes. A cold brew with oat milk and carmel was so sweet it was undrinkable. Would recommened getting a cake or something but not much else.

I can't believe it took me so long to try this place!! Granted I live in Lenexa so it's not the closest to me but so worth the drive! To start of this place is adorable! Such cute decor and a fantastic vibe. The staff was incredibly friendly and I chatted with one of them while my food and drink was prepared. I got a matcha latte with oat milk and vanilla syrup. SO GOOD! I can appreciate a good matcha latte I'm definitely no connoisseur for them but this was the best one I've had so far! Incredibly creamy and just the right amount of sweetness. Oat milk really does wonders in the creamy department. For my entree I got a vegan combo I believe? It has biscuits and mushroom gravy, "bacon", Tofu scramble and potatoes. It was delectable. Some of the best vegan bacon I've had and I've tried a LOT as I do not eat meat. Some vegan bacons are just downright gross but I'd would absolutely order this one again which says a lot!! Coconut bacon can taste burnt a lot of the time so I appreciate that this was a more "meaty" version. The biscuits and mushroom gravy was heavenly. Vegan biscuits and gravy is a hard dish I've tried to perfect myself and they expertly executed it. Not too salty (a common theme with vegan gravy) and the biscuit was perfectly baked. All I can say is I'm obsessed with the adorable little shop now and will be back soon!

Oh my god. The food here is amazing. We had the grilled cheeze, the midwest (biscuits and gravy) and also picked up a churro cake for my husbands birthday. All the food was AMAZING!! I could eat here for every meal for the rest of my life. Can't wait to come back!

Great little walk up bakery with some seating on the sidewalk out front. They specialize in vegan and GF baking. We tried the vegan pancake cupcake and it was very good! I would Bebe never known it was vegan had they not told me. Delicious. The woman who helped us is very friendly and it is located in a little strip of store fronts between Troost and Waldo. Definitely go check out this little gem!

The Littlest Bake shop is my absolute favorite place on earth!! I have a dairy gluten and soy allergy. Everything is Vegan and gluten free!! And very few dishes have soy which are very clearly labeled!! Everyone in there cares about you and is very welcoming. My favorite spot!!

A true hidden gem in DM. Since i was a child their champagne cake has been a staple. 40+ years later i still grab some and bring it home. My 54th birthday cake was champagne. Creme horn for breakfast -no picture available. My father in law loves their bear claws. Not many places have good creme horns or bear claws ENJOY!!!!!!

I can't even begin to rave enough about the quality and taste of the food here. It's a very small Place but they have additional patio seating outside in the back. Second time getting cupcakes and first time eating brunch. Between my hubby and I we have multiple dietary restrictions and this place sure has options! First, the cupcakes are always fantastic. Every. Single. Flavor. They sweeten them with beet sugar, so no refined sugars! The entire place is Gluten Free, so no risk of cross contamination, which is always good. The cupcakes are dense but moist and not overly sweet. The frosting on them really is the star of the show. Fantastic flavor and perfect level of sweetness. I dream about these cupcakes. this time the vanilla blackberry was my fave. I chatted with some of the employees about sourcing of ingredients and they are so thoughtful about this aspect of their business. Also, their coffee is phenomenal. I have to get decaf and they work with a local roaster that does NOT use a chemical decaffeination process, which is super important for me and so the flavor of the coffee is out of this world good. If I lived closer, you bet I'd be getting coffee here VERY often. They also make all of their coffee syrups/flavors in-house. You won't be disappointed by the quality, flavor or service of this place. Definitely give it a try if you haven't. It's worth every penny.

The food is good and it is amazing that it is both vegan and gluten free, and those with allergies or preferences can eat it worry free! But this review is about the people. I saw a man enter who seemed to be in need. He was asking about a neighbor store. Instead of asking him to leave since he didn't appear to be a paying customer, the owner(?) talked to him about what she knew about the neighbor business. He asked if he could sit and wait for them to open (2 hours later). In a business with only a few tables, she didn't seem to hesitate to say yes. The kindness she showed him inspired me. Support this business not only for the delicious food, but also for the kindness they show.

Great food, staff, and vibes! We tried the chocolate cupcakes with vanilla and caramel frosting, the carrot cake cupcake, and the egg cream phosphate. Everything was delicious, the cake was so moist and fluffy, it's hard to believe everything is vegan AND gluten free. We'll definitely be coming back to try the breakfast options. Great place, highly recommend !

What a such little find in KC! We were instantly greeted with smiles and any help we needed to make our choices. I got the chocolate cupcake with vanilla frosting and for such a basic flavor, I was AMAZED!! Also completely gluten-free and vegan?! Loved it! The cake was super moist and had a great fluffy texture despite being gluten-free! One cupcake was around $4 I believe. Almost had to get another!

Another fitting name would have been "The Prettiest Bake Shop". I thoroughly enjoyed all the live plants, plant artwork, and color palette of the shop. The old-timey country music made me want to linger a little longer. As of today, I believe this is Kansas City's ONLY ALL GLUTEN-FREE shop. The shop is also ALL VEGAN. Those people with gluten, dairy, and/or egg allergies will take comfort in this place for sure. I am not personally gluten-free but I do think the cupcakes are tasty. The coffee is tasty as well.

Amazing food, would recommend to literally everyone!! You don't have to be vegan or gluten free to enjoy the food. But as someone with celiac, it bring me happy tears eating good food safely

Wish I could give more than 5 stars! I ordered a churro 6-inch cake for my boyfriend's birthday, it is amazing! Tastes amazing and is beautifully decorated. I don't think anyone would be able to tell it's gluten and dairy free. Recommend!!

Amazing little bake shop. It's really all in the title. All vegan cupcakes too. What could be better. If in the area or like me not in the area it is so worth the drive. Follow on social media for the latest update on what type of cupcakes they have. Today left with a mint chocolate chip, orange with orange blossom, chocolate rose, and chocolate with vanilla. Make sure and check them out. Hope you all enjoy it also.

This is a great GF and allergic sensitive bakery. Many GF baked goods are just sugar. You can taste flavors in these goodies and I don't feel like I will go into insulin shock after eating them. Thank you for sharing your passion of baking a healthier way!

There's no question: Littlest is best! Are they vegan? Yup! Are they gluten-free? You betcha! Are they also hands down the best bakery in Kansas City? ABSOLUTELY. Easily the best cupcakes anywhere in town, with the most creative and interesting flavors. Their cakes are incredibly gorgeous works of art too! I recommend coming by and grabbing some delicious brunch and also giving some of their amazing original drinks a try!

I am new to the gluten-free diet and doing so begrudgingly even though my body is thanking me. I love bread, pasta and sweets in all of their true flour glory. I have yet to find a really good alternative to baked goods. My wife picked up a cake from this bakery and surprised me with it for a promotion I just got. She ordered the lemon cake with berry frosting and it was to die for. I honestly thought I was eating the cake with intentions to get sick later until I was told it was gluten-free. I was not aware of this adorable bake shop but will definitely be checking it out in person soon!

Went in for the first time this afternoon and had the best time. My friends and I came for their brunch they were offering, and the workers were so nice and informative about everything that they had there that day. For brunch I had potato salad, bbq soy curls, garlic roll with butter, and chickpea salad. For my coffee I had the iced Toddy with vanilla syrup. Everything was vegan and delicious. Will be returning!!

My new favorite breakfast spot!! The food was 5/5 and I loved their outdoor seating area for a beautiful spring morning! I can't wait to try everything on their menu. Very reasonably priced for how wonderful the food was and how much food was included. The staff were wonderful as well.

The two cupcakes I ordered were good except I got a HAIR in one of them and it was disgusting. You couldn't go inside and the lady told me it was going to only take a few minutes because I ordered a latte and two premade cupcakes, but I stood outside in the cold for 10 to 15 minutes.

Iris created a custom two tier cake for my birthday that was absolutely beautiful and delicious! I asked for a combo of almond and cherry flavor with floral icing decor and she ran with it, creating an almond cake with cherry compote filling and beautiful floral elements all around. It was easy to order and even easier to enjoy! She was also flexible and helpful with my pickup time. Highly recommend!

I adore the Littlest Bake Shop. You should definitely stop by for a sweet treat if you haven't already. Everything is crafted from scratch with love. Iris is simply amazing with the flavor combinations she creates. She not only makes her cakes and desserts look stunning, they are truly delicious! The desserts are gluten free and vegan so pretty much anyone you know with any variety of dietary restrictions can enjoy them- and they will. We can't stay out of our little bag of goodies.

I have Celiac and this Bake Shop is incredible! All the cups and things are recyclable. We ordered 6 cupcakes and they gave us 2 for free! 10/10 Can't recommend enough! I love to support small businesses, not to mention the owner is a single mother! Much love

The Littlest Bake Shop is the perfect vegan bakery, and without a doubt the best vegan cake baker in town. I ordered a custom lemon cake for my fiancés birthday and they were able to source the lemon flavoring and put together a beautiful small cake. Love this place and will be back again!

Cute, delicious vegan treats. No pictures because I ate them too fast. :) Very friendly and laid back atmosphere. I wish we lived closer, but for the sake of my waistline I'm glad we don't. ;)

They were testing cinnamon rolls when we went. You guys these cinnamon rolls are what dreams are made of and I consider myself a huge cinnamon roll snob. The bread was perfectly caramelized but still gooey, the cinnamon sugar mixture was plentiful but not overwhelming and the vegan cream cheese icing was phenomenal. Definitely in my top 3 favorite rolls as of today. The cupcakes were also REALLY tasty! I like how they aren't huge but they also aren't too tiny. Perfect size. Texture is great, you'd never be able to tell they are vegan. The flavors are nice and strong and I can tell they use high quality ingredients. Icing to cake ratio is just right and the piping on the cupcakes is super cute and detailed. I almost felt bad eating these beautiful works of art. Flavors we tried: pink lemonade, chocolate with salted caramel icing and red velvet. You can't go wrong with any of these flavors, I promise! The owner is super sweet and personable. It's easy to see that she's passionate about baking! The shop is so beautiful and I hope it stays around for years to come. Can't wait to go back and try their coffee drinks or the pop up meatless Monday's they host!

The most amazing baked from scratch goodies ever! It's hard to find options with diet restrictions- but even if you have no restrictions- You'll never know they're gluten free + vegan by the taste! So good.

I rose from my slumber on a quest for a delicious gluten-free treat. Unfortunately, my olfactory sensory elements are gluten-based, so I had to resort to the internet to complete my journey. With Instagram photos in hand of Carob Cakes with Chai Frosting, I set forth. My quest was rewarded with the aforementioned Carob Cakes and an unexpected Funfetti treat. I will not attempt to describe the flavor and how I had no longings for gluten. Suffice to say the cakes were delicious, and I will be back for more sweet treats.

This is hands down one of THE BEST cupcake places I have visited in KC. I got the sweet tea cupcakes with lemon icing - a perfect balance. I loved how both the frosting and cake were well done. The cake wasn't dry and dense (a common problem with store bought GF cupcakes I have found) and the frosting didn't overwhelm the base flavor of the cake. Super excited to try more from this shop, the owner was very friendly and helpful as well.
