The Muse suite is so unique and offers a great retreat. The in room soaking tub is such a nice touch, the upstairs and patio is perfect for relaxing. Staff were so nice! Perfect location for walking to shops, restaurants and Kensington palace. Delicious breakfast delivered to your room daily. Only advice I have is heed their warnings on packing heavy, as Muse is on top floor. Absolutely wonderful stay and I highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful place in the heart of Notting Hill! Loved our room, the decor, the view from our window - just everything! 💕 I’d definitely stay at The Lost Poet again, such a gem! Breakfast was amazing too, pastries & porridge from local bakery & Grind coffee - couldn’t ask for a better experience 🥰

My wife and I stayed in The Quarters room and it was absolutely perfect. You can tell how much thought went into every little detail to not only make the room beautiful but laid out to give you as much space as possible. The staff were extremely kind and helped with whatever we needed. The daily breakfast delivered to the room was such a pleasant and tasty way to start the day. You’re a few minutes walk to the Notting Hill Gate tube station so all of London is about 30 mins away max. We’ll definitely be coming back here any time we’re going to London. So much nowadays is either a big hotel chain with crappy service or an airbnb where you have to text someone far away if anything comes up. It was so refreshing to stay at a place where everything had a human touch to it and they are set up to make your stay as enjoyable as it possibly can be.

The Lost Poet is a real find. We are tired of big, overpriced chain hotels and wanted to try something different. This place is ideally situated, close to Notting Hill Gate tube station but very quiet and relaxed. Room was lovely and probably the most comfortable bed I have slept in. There are some nice ‘high end’ details and the pastries for breakfast were very nice. Can’t wait to stay again.

Staying at The Lost Poet in Notting Hill was a truly unique and memorable experience. The boutique guesthouse felt more like a private hideaway than a typical hotel. I loved how each room was distinct, with vibrant decor and quirky details that made the space feel alive and personal. The Muse penthouse, with its private rooftop terrace, was a highlight, offering a cozy retreat with stunning views of West London. The Lost Poet was a perfect mix of charm, comfort, and character, and I’d absolutely recommend it for anyone looking for a stylish, one-of-a-kind London stay.

It was fantastic experience with this cozy hotel. The cushions and decorations was typical and it's very affordable and neat. I love the service to the unique style of decorations. The penthouse added another unique cliche to the hotel. I'll definitely recommend it to anyone 👍

I will definitely return to this hotel. The attention to detail was excellent. Very comfortable bed, nice decorations, great location by Notting Hill and a tube (subway) station. Both of the staff members that I met were extremely kind, so friendly, and helpful. It felt like a high end high end hotel room inside a little hotel or even a guesthouse. Even being on the ground floor in front of the street was no issue. It was not overly loud. It felt just very comfortable. ||The only downside was that I couldn’t get back into the hotel for 45 minutes late at night because the main door wouldn’t open. I rang the bell twice and nobody answered. After considering my options and calling a friend in the area, I returned and finally got the door to work. This was irritating and could be a dangerous situation. Maybe explain to your guests what they should do if their key doesn’t work at night. Fortunately it all worked out.

I stumbled upon this place through Mr and Mrs Smith.. and I am so glad I took the plunge and made a reservation. I usually go for the larger chain hotels, but for some reason (looking at you Taylor Swift!) hotels were unreasonably and unusually expensive in London for the time I was looking at. So I made a reservation here.. I am so glad I did! What an absolute gem of a hotel. Small, but well appointed, beautifully clean and quirky design. Easy check in.. friendly front of house staff. Felt homely, but also private. I had the best night sleep I have had in weeks. It is in such a great location on Portobello Road so could easily wander to get coffee in the morning before my flight. I will absolutely be back.. what an absolute treat of a stay!!
