Great food! We had the Wagyu Burger, and it was delicious! The fries are always a must! Tried all the desserts, and the cheesecake was amazing!

Great bartenders. Space was rather limited though and the cocktail menu was pretty simple.

Very friendly and fast service. I have heard and read about how amazing the burger of this place was. I can’t be more disappointed. Yes, it certainly look amazing... but in the first bite you notice the most flat and without seasoning flavor. Yes the patty was cooked perfectly... the bun was perfectly browned and with a little butter... the look is perfect! but is just an empty vessel, where the meat lacks flavor and personality... The fries... crispy, even they had more flavor than the meat... still, a little bit of salt might help to increase their flavor... In my opinion... don’t expect to much from this place. There other places in DC that have better burgers and you don’t have to pay that much. Try Ray’s Hell Kitchen, Dacha Bar, or even Good Stuff Eatery, they have better and more tasteful burgers than this place.

Finding quality food at 11pm is no easy feat. Fact of the matter is, foodies and critics don't eat that late, and good chefs typically don't work that late. With Bourbon Steak open well into the night, you might be tempted to think otherwise, but it's no exception. At that time into the night, this place is more of a lounge, and that part is done exceptionally. Complimentary snacks paired with exceptional drinks and friendly service make it a good haunt for anyone staying at Four Seasons (Bourbon Steaks is located inside). Unfortunately, the kitchen is still open at 11pm. Still serving $61 steaks. Exceptional meats made underwhelmingly. I didn't expect better at 11pm, but then again, that's no excuse for any time whenever if there's a steak with that price tag on the menu.

Very disappointed in this Michael Mina spot and do not recommend this to anyone. For starters the service was bad. It took nearly 10 minutes just to be noticed by my server and to be brought a menu. I ordered the lrime steak burger with a side of duck fat fries and truffle mac n cheese. The burger was barely warm and the fries came in a trio of flavors of dips which I wouldnt have oredered had I known. That should be in the description since its not obvious what you're ordering. The truffle mac n cheese was amazing though so that kind of made up for it. After placing my order I was never checked on for anything unless I watched for my server to pass and got her attention to ask for something. I didn't order a cocktail because I didn't feel ike drinking that evening. I just had a soda water, which I had two refills of...two refills that took far more than acceptable time to get. I was shocked when I recieved the check and saw a charge of $18 for club soda. I would have just asked for water if at any point I was told I was being charge $6 for each glass of club soda, but I was never informed nor do I think the customer is ever to be assumed they are aware of something such as that. Absolutely absurd! And they wouldn't take even the additional two club sodas off the bill when I pointed it out. Dissappointment doesn't begin to describe my experience.

Great service, yummy cocktails

Generally, we had a great experience for a special birthday. The meat, appetizers and drinks were phenomenal. The sides left a little to be desired, in my opinion. We ordered a Wagyu ribeye, lamb chops, wedge salad, macaroni and cheese and whipped potatoes. For dessert, we chose the S'more. The server was very attentive, and they swiftly moved to clean the table for the next course. The complimentary bread and french fry pseudo appetizer is unique and just about perfect! I loved the dipping sauces and the fries were fresh, hot and plentiful. The meat was cooked perfectly, and I was surprised to see that my lamb chops also included a good portion of roasted carrots, which was a huge bonus ! The other sides were a little runny in my opinion. The mac & cheese was extremely loose and bland and the mashed potatoes were flavorful but had a "sauce " consistency. I love that they box your food, and hold it at the front desk so you don't have to fumble with everything walking out. Overall, we will definitely be back, they had some really interesting craft cocktails id like to try and potentially just sit at the bar. This is definitely a great date spot, somewhere for a nice occasion or generally for a great steak!

Walking into the Four Seasons Steakhouse you get exactly what you're expecting. This is not a Keen's type experience you might get in NYC, and while Bourbon Steak is a chain, it's nothing like a Ruth Chris Steakhouse either. This is the showy Michael Mina concept you would expect at one of his steakhouses, and it does the job well. We got in late, around 9:45 pm without a reservation. We went to ask for a table and were initially denied one and told that we could eat at the bar. I assured the hostesses (of which there were 3) that we were just going to eat a steak and have a few drinks and we would not be long winded. They obliged us and took us to a table. We proceeded to order a Tomahawk Ribeye, a caesar salad, and then dine on the french fry and bread service, which were both interesting and good. The caesar salad wasn't bad but it wasn't special in any regards. It was just a caesar salad, as run of the mill as it can come. I was very fine with it. The steak was good, it didn't have that dry aged flavor that you might love, and it wasn't the juiciest best steak in the world. But for a 9:45 drop in at Bourbon Steak in Georgetown with a couple manhattans, it was a treat. We did not have desert and we were back on our merry way while the bar and restaurant were still crawling with people. Unlikely that I'll come back unless we need a late night steak, but this fulfilled a need and did so with good service, decent ambiance, and a great location.

Service: Excellent Cocktails: Excellent Atmosphere: Excellent The Four Seasons restaurant is lovely. We had several dishes. My truffle pasta was excellent. My crabcake was quite good, not as good as the Prime Rib. The side order of grilled shrimp were excellent. They were quite large and had wonderful flavor. I usually cook my shrimp more, but they were done well. My friend's $86 steak had too much gristle for the price. That was quite disappointing. The desert of beignets was generous. Definitely a dessert to share. There are six beignets. The beignets were not light and fluffy as they should be. The trio of sauces was delicious--milk chocolate pudding, crème brûlée, and a caramel sauce with scotch. I do not like scotch, but the scotch was hardly noticeable at all. The cocktails are always unique and special. I had been here before several times, but it had been a while so we thought we'd check it out again. It's a special place to visit. I probably would not go back to the dining room. I would go to the bar and savor the drinks and appetizers/small plates.

I would give a 5 star except the lady who checked us in was First on the phone for a long time while we stood there waiting and then after she started to help us, we turned around for a second and she took a second guest in front of us to answer their questions instead of seating us at the table just left a bad taste in my mouth. It seemed like this restaurant is more of a corporate type restaurant not necessarily set up for kids, even though they did have some crayons available. The highchair looked like it was dusted off from the way way back Closet the server was great. He helped us expedite when necessary because of the small child. He graciously took some pictures for us. The small child love the complementary appetizer. French fries may be a little too much. the steak was great. The crabcake was great.

I went to Bourbon Steak for my birthday recently. It was a great celebration, unfortunately our seats were close to the kitchen but we still had a good time nonetheless. The ambiance was great and food was even better. You receive complementary fries (with unique flavor profiles/sauces) and fresh bread. Aside from that, everything we ordered was perfectly delicious - I would definitely recommend this place.

First off amazing bar service. We began with cocktails and then moved to the private room. The sommelier Winn was fantastic. The food was also incredible... everything was top notch. It's not on the menu, but get an espresso martini. The steak was super tender and the sauces enhanced it. The fries and bread rolls were a great start. My favorite side was perhaps the mushrooms, but the carrots, mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, Brussels, etc were all done well.

This place had absolutely wonderful food! We came here for dinner and they started us out with a French fry flight after we ordered some food. They even gave some specific fries for our vegetarian friends. They also gave us some break that tasted great! The rest of our friends had all kinds of wonderful food! I had the steak and shared the mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. I didn't like the mashed potatoes only cause my stomach got upset from them later. I loved the mac and cheese though. Lastly, I got the smoked s'mores, which was great (obviously, expect a smoky flavor). The ambiance is low key and wonderful! You do have to dress up a bit but I enjoyed that a lot! I can't wait to come back here again. The only thing is our server was a little slow so we didn't get food quickly. Other than that, next time, I would definitely do the lounge for their lunch special.

Late nights here are always a good time! The drinks and appetizers are on point. There's always a great crowd and it's inside of the 4 seasons hotel so the vibe is swanky. The burger and truffle fries are delicious!

If you're looking for the burgers at four seasons, you should sit at the bar lounge. The menu is not the same at the restaurant. I made reservations and realized the restaurant did not have the burgers I wanted to order, but the hosts were accommodating and moved our seating back to the lounge, where it was more lively. Worked out for everyone! The burgers were slightly salty for my taste, but this is what almost everyone at the lounge ordered. It's very popular!

Came for breakfast and had a lovely time. The restaurant itself is nice but nothing special. The service was definitely top tier. I got the chilaquiles which were delicious beautifully plated. They pour the sauce tableside so the chips are still crunchy when they arrive.

The quintessential modern American steak restaurant. Michael Mina leaves nothing off the table from the best selection of steaks to one of the more well curated brands of booze I can remember seeing. Service was impeccable, Enrique was excellent, vibe was happening featuring an ambience that was both formal and relaxed at the same time with cross table conversation feeling natural. Easily, the best dining experience my family and I have had in the DC market.

Bourbon steak is a nice steakhouse dining experience. We ordered the NY strip, ahi tuna, and the truffle mac and cheese. As you can expect, it was all very heavy and cooked with lots of butter. The steak was cooked to a nice medium with a warm red center. The tuna was served with foie gras. They also gave us complimentary truffle fries. In hindsight, I would've ordered something more acidic/light to accompany all the food as it was heavy.

Bourbon is serving upscale fabulousity!! Ive been here twice and both times, the service has been outstanding. It's pricey...but just understand what you're entertaining and enjoy. The comfortable seating, the leather and sleek decor, the upscale but chill vibe, makes Bourbon at the Four Seasons the place you should at least try if you're in the area. The food is delicious as well with excellent portions. The turkey burger, grilled salmon, and caesar salads were all fantastically prepared and seasoned. Also, try out their outdoor patio with the fire pit..a beautiful way to end the evening. The staff are incredibly accommodating and attentive! Overall highly recommend!

Came here for a girlfriend's birthday dinner celebration. The restaurant is inside the Four Seasons Hotel, which is nice and upscale. Our waiter, Adam, was cool, professional, and organized; however, I don't know if it was busy when we came but it took us closer to 2 hours to get our food after placing our orders, and when the food arrived it was lukewarm at best. When the birthday girl spoke to one of the managers about it, it was implied they could warm it up, what we assume would be a microwave. This place is pretty expensive, so to say you will warm it up was questionable. What I ordered *it is an Á la carte menu: The power of pink cocktail Steak (medium), came out medium well. Spinach - was ok Potatoes - tasted like baby food Sauce (you pay $10 for three - my favorites were the Bourbon Steak Sauce and Au Poivre. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the fries and bread that are provided to the table was good. Those rolls were hot, fresh, and soft. I give that a 10/10. It was a nice experience, but I don't need to come back.

We arrived early before our reservations and decided to have a drink in the Lounge/bar area. Even though not on the menu, the bartender still made a lovely and refreshing gin fizz. We were given chips to snack on as well! We brought our drinks with us to our table in the main dining room area and were seated at a booth. Served by a lovely waiter who took care of us well, even provided some nice recommendations. They provided amazing French fries with their own dipping sauces and garlic rolls! We both wanted steak for our dinner and shared black truffle Mac and cheese and whipped potatoes (loved these!!). I wanted to try the crab legs but thought I'd probably be full with the fries and two sides. Glad I didn't get them! My friend left with a doggie bag! Our steak was cooked beautifully and almost melted in our mouths. We also had Pinot noir to complete the experience. Definitely give this place a go if you're in Georgetown and in the mood to celebrate. I want to come back to try just dessert!

Chef Mina's contemporary steakhouse at the Four Seasons Hotel is known for its steaks especially Japanese wagyu, and for its gorgeous lounge serving beautiful cocktails. In time for reservations, we were met with a great team starting at the host. Immediately seated, we were presented with a beverage menu by the sommelier. A more extensive digital menu via ipad is also available upon request. Having had cocktails prior, I settled for a nice pour of Hendry. Autumn Smoke came as a recommendation if you enjoy Mezcal. Smooth, warm, and clean. I loved it. Compliments of the chef our table was presented with trio of duck fat fries with trio sauces and the garlic rolls. Oh my, be easy on these! It was delicious and perfect for the wait. For starters, we enjoyed the endive salad and crab beignets. For the main course, the table selected the bone in cowboy ribeye and sides of whipped mash and crispy brussel sprouts. The main course arrived on time, temperature on point, and prepared to perfection. The sides were delightful. Our server Danwel was outstanding. He and the team that evening were phenomenal. Our glasses were never left empty, and everything tableside service was courteous, attentive, personable, and notably tops. Valet is available if you're not a guest or staying at the hotel. I am looking forward to visiting again! This is one happy elite.

Okay, after all this time, I finally ventured over to Bourbon Steak for a birthday dinner. It is located inside the Four Seasons Hotel in Georgetown. The wait time was zero. We were seated promptly upon arrival. For the food: Complimentary truffle fries with a triple dipping are served along with bun style rolls. The fries with the garlic dipping sauces are on point. However, the rolls were hard on the outside and doughy on the inside and tasted like straight yeast. No flavor whatsoever on the rolls. I didn't order any appetizers. For the main course, I ordered the Ribcap (medium) with the baked potato and sweet/sour Brussels. The steak was cooked perfectly. However, the baked potato was weird and had a sweet taste to it, and the Brussels were not roasted or sauteed properly. They were still hard with a watery glaze on them. I had a New Zealand Pinot Noir with my meal, which complimented the steak very well. A friend ordered the cheesecake for dessert. It was pretty good for the bites I had. The service was great overall, and the steak/wine/fries is what I enjoyed more than anything. I am not sure if I would go back, but I would definitely go to the bar for drinks.

Bourbon Steak has many locations across the U.S., including CA, NV, AZ, FL, and TN. We came here for their first eating for dinner, making reservations in advance. We were seated promptly, and placed our orders in right away: +Truffled Hamachi Crudo - with scallions, cucumbers, and truffle ponzu; this was a fresh app to start off with +Michael's Tuna Tartare - with Asian pear, pine nuts peppers, and sesame; the tuan could have been a little bit more fresh +Maryland Crab Beignets - with garlic cream, saffron, and crispy basil; these were just okay +Onion Soup Gratin - this was just okay; not sure if it was reduced properly? For our steaks, we had: +the Bone-In Cowboy Ribeye - this was 20 oz with a horseradish crust as an accompaniment +the New York Strip - this was 16 oz; I had mine with grilled shrimp as an accompaniment with a sauce trio of the Bourbon Steak sauce, creamy horseradish, and bearnaise We also had the 'Wedge' salad which came with blue cheese, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, onions and dressed in a buttermilk dressing, and sides of the Black Truffle Mac & Cheese with lobster, Rockefeller Stuffed Mushrooms, Creamed Spinach, Crispy Shallots, and the Duchesse Stuffed Baked Potato. The sides were good and definitely will fill you up! Service was friendly, and the ambiance was more of a casual steakhouse. Extremely limited parking, but valet is available. +generous sides +friendly service

I will give it zero stars if I could. Worst service I have experienced in a restaurant that charges this high prices. Noisy not pleasant.

Some of the best cocktails in the DC Area. They have wonderful smoked creations. We are also a very big fan of their fries and burgers. A very nice atmosphere to have dinner and drinks.

Good food, great drink menu but no beer on tap, excellent service. Only complaints were 1 I was told I could get the same food from the restaurant area in the bar (menu was not the same), and 2 the bar booths are terribly uncomfortable. The half shell oysters were fresh, the fry trio was fun and interesting, wedge salad was delish. Popular place, very crowded, if you want to be seen it's a great choice. Def recommend.

Wow! Had our first experience earlier this week. Ambiance and service lived up to hype and exceeded expectations. Sandy led our service team with exceptional support from all including the sommelier. Chargrilled octopus was a great start. Steaks were excellent. Get the whipped potatoes - you'll love them. Wine choices are on the expensive side but with enough variety to accommodate just about anyone.

This place is excellent. It's expensive, there's a lot of food, and it's mainly meat.I. It's also pretty pricey. t's not for everyone. I wouldn't come here twice a week, but I loved it. Their wine list is extraordinary. Again, not inexpensive. But it's fabulous. I found a syrah I love, but can rarely find. We loved the wine. We both had a chilled seafood app: my wife had the shrimp cocktail, which had 5 giant prawns. It was great. But it was a-lot. I had a 1/2 dozen oysters. There were 6 kinds. Each was delicious. And not too much. I had a glass of a nice sparkling wine with the oysters. Yum. We split roasted foie gras. it was the biggest piece of foie gras i've ever seen. It was well prepared. i could have used a little more fruit flavor on the plate. It had thinly sliced strawberries. But, something else on the plate would have been good. Don't get me wrong. We really liked it. It just could be better. We both had steaks for our main. She had prime filet mug on, which she thought was great, though a bit over cooked. I had wagyu rib eye. It was perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. Loved it. My wife wanted dessert. It was a very nice cheesecake with a fruit sauce and cracked cooked sugar. Lovely. The service was very good. Our waiter was very attentive. The man assisting him was really conscientious and very nice. Our water was filled; our dishes were cleared quickly. It was very good. The sommelier only came to get my wine order and open and have us taste the wine. We did not see her again, which is fine. But somewhat unusual. All in all, this is a great restaurant and I loved it.

Fantastic steak, excellent free apps (a delicious garlic breadroll AND 3 small cups of seasoned fries with 3 different sauces). The servers were all very friendly and helpful, and you have the pleasant ambiance of a 4 Seasons Hotel.

It had been awhile since I had dined at Bourbon Steak. So when a friend asked for me to make reservations for a last minute bday dinner I was happy to see that Bourbon Steak had availability on a busy Saturday night. Our server was incredibly nice and despite a few mix-ups with our order, she was extremely apologetic and so quick to remedy. She was also very thoughtful about ensuring that the bday girl had a candle on a dessert so that she could have a celebratory moment at the end of the meal. We loved the flights of complimentary truffle fries and delicious baked bread that was brought out as we waited for our appetizers. Honestly, I think we got a little too excited and filled up a bit more than intended on these. As for the food, it was not what I remembered. I ordered the octopus and it was tough and overly charred. I love octopus so much and am not too picky with it, so for me to leave any on the plate was uncommon. The lobster mac and cheese side we were sure would be a hit but found wasn't very flavorful and came out at room temperature . Also pretty rare for us to leave more than half of that uneaten and no one had any interest in taking the leftovers home. But the raw oysters and the brussel sprouts that we ordered were delicious! I'll definitely return, but this past visit was not really up to par. But like with any business, there will be ups and downs, good days, bad days and room for improvement so I'll certainly come back at a later time to check them out again.

Just a quick stop in the bar for apps & drinks before dinner we'd planned elsewhere. Let this be a lesson to all those venues that remain closed until their reservations start at 5 or 5:30. We could have been there instead. Very much enjoyed it. Duck wings as appetizer - crispy, rich, earthy, intense. Never thought of that. Packed bar - still timely and responsive service. Pleasant surroundings - it was raining and cold outside but I kept looking out the window at the courtyard & picturing coming back in spring. Solid cocktails - well built and exactly as ordered. We'll be back.

Food was good. Spent about $350 on wine including a bottle of chardonnay for $200. Charged us 2 refills on seltzer for $15 really?? So tacky.

Bourbon Steak is highly rated and for good reason. I had the bone in ribeye which was top tier! The mashed potatoes and mushrooms were perfect accompaniments. The service was stellar and I can't wait to go back. The s'mores dessert was heaven on a plate.

Why this place doesn't have a Michelin Star, I don't know. We've dined at six Michelin Star restaurants in the DMV, and this meets or exceeds the experience we had there. Ambiance - Beautiful! Located inside the Four Seasons Hotel in Georgetown, you pass through the lobby, ornate art pieces, and a fresh flower display before entering the restaurant. The restaurant itself was also gorgeous. Customer Service - Second to none. The chef even came out and took pictures with us. Food - I ate bone marrow, y'all! I tried it at another restaurant before and didn't care for it. Here it was fantastic. This is probably the only restaurant where I would order it because I know they're going to prepare it well. There's so much to say about each individual dish. I'll just say that all the food was fantastic. Overall, I would go back....again and again. I don't know what the requirements are to receive a Michelin Star, but this place should get one!

Pretty decent steakhouse, been here a couple times. Parking is pretty tough, I usually just valet. Restaurant is situated at the main level of the Four Season's Hotel. Has modern interior and dim lighting, perfect for the night out with that special someone. Service is good on slow days, but may take a while at peak times. My go-to is always the wedge salad, 12 oz Filet, with truffle mac & cheese and Brussel Sprouts for sides. Steak is always cooked perfectly. Enjoy.

Came here for their three-course fixed price Easter brunch. Was so very glad we did- it was an enjoyable experience all around. Great food. Great Service. All was as expected for a Four Seasons experience. I arrived early and had the "No FaceTime in Public" cocktail at the bar. Delicious! The bartender knew the special cocktails and was able to explain the nuances of each. I had checked in first at the hostess stand and promised a window seat. We were at first seated elsewhere but I remarked about the window and it was quickly rectified. They started with their amazing bread... I got the tuna tartare as my first course. Loved the pine nuts in it. Then I got the burger with extra lettuce which was super filling. Not sure what I was thinking! But it was good. The first one came out not done enough but they quickly fixed it. We also got a side order of fries which were delicious and worth every calorie! I ended with the sundae which was a crazy conglomeration of many things: lava cake, chocolate mousse, Black Forest cake, cherries jubilee. But somehow it worked. I would have preferred more ice cream but that's with every dessert in the world that has ice cream :) Absolutely recommend this as an Easter brunch. A surprise visit from a good looking, tall bunny bearing surprise-filled plastic Easter eggs only added to the ambiance!

Went here for my wife's birthday. Just the two of us for a romantic dinner. We sat outside on the patio and it was the perfect weather. My wife had the 12 oz New York strip and I had the 18 oz bone in strip. Both were just perfect. We also had summer squash as the side which was actually very light and refreshing. For desert we had the gluten-free cheesecake and that was also amazing. The waiter was super friendly and helpful with all our questions. Four Seasons is know for being one of the top hotels, but even so, I was concerned about eating at hotel restaurant. Well concern no more. This was simply amazing. Only warning is that this is not cheap. You will pay - a lot. But it really is worth it. One of the reasons we chose this was that they had grass fed beef from local farmers. That is super important to us in addition to being gluten free.

(NOTE: My review is for the restaurant, not the lounge. I think the food in the lounge is a little less pricey.) I saw a couple reviews that mention the fries and I will 100% get on board with the fries being delicious. They are fantastic and we had a second order because they were just that good... but honestly, the love stops there. The food isn't bad per se, but it isn't great and it is WILDLY OVERPRICED! The cocktails were good, but about $5-$8 over what you would pay almost anywhere else in Georgetown for the same caliber. My husband likes scotch, specifically a 16 year vintage that is typically around $20-$25 at most places and it was, I believe $45 or $50 here. To me, that is just price hiking to price hike. Same goes for the Japanese Wagyu. They do source it from specific regions, so I will give them that, but I have had verified Wagyu at several different locations (showed us the snout print from the cow and everything) and it only ranged from 35 - 50 an ounce as opposed to, I think the lowest was 4oz for $345.00 -- that is significantly more and not worth it. Looking for Japanese A5 Wagyu? Try SHOTO- that place is expensive too but not like Bourbon Steak who seem to jack up prices for pretention only and they have little wagyu tacos that are to die for! I will caveat the above review with the fact that we did not purchase the Wagyu, it was too exorbitant for our tastes and we went with a New York Strip and pasta. I did not like my pasta at all, but the New York Strip was perfectly cooked, just again, over-priced (Capital Grille has an equally good steak for like 1/2 the price). We also tried their ahi tuna, which is apparently a featured dish and was recommended to us... again... I have had better. They make this table side so it could have been the individual was heavy handed on the sauce but all we could taste was sesame oil. The nuances of the tuna with the pear and scotch bonnet were completely drowned out in a sea of sesame oil that left this hard to eat. (Ruth Chris has a wonderful ahi tuna, by the way and it is like 1/3 of the price during happy hour! So does Cafe Riggs.) I still give this 3 stars because our waiter was awesome, the ambience is nice, and I love dinner with friends... but will I be back? Sadly, no. There are just too many great places in the area to waste my time on a revisit.

A DC classic! Love everything about this place. The food is amazing. The service is friendly and the ambiance is classic DC. Have been going there for most of my adult life and not once have I had an experience less than amazing.

Fantastic experience! Steak Looks great I really enjoyed the trio or fries and the bread! In fact I think my son enjoyed the fries and bread more than anyone else, the best part was how accommodating the server and chef were to my son's allergy restrictions and dietary needs. My son had a liver transplant due to a dairy allergy when we alerted the chef and manager they quickly sprung into action ensuring that he had food that not only tasted amazing but also fit within his restrictions. I enjoyed the sides the food temperature was great if I had one critique it would be on dessert while I enjoyed spending my birthday there and that little piece of cake was amazing I was not as impressed with the chocolate molten lava cake it was a bit deceiving although the cookie with gold leaf was a nice touch the s'mores on the other hand tasted really good and had an amazing presentation however it is a bit difficult to eat because it is somewhat deconstructed all in all I will certainly come back. I think the most unique part and every restaurant should follow is how they take your leftovers package them up and give you a claim ticket is the whole them at the front door instead of making you hold your remaining food at your table just taking up space during your dining experience great job will be back.

Excellent food and atmosphere. Steak is great quality. Bourbon Nashville knocks my socks off, however I'm happy to have a Bourbon in DC due to the overall quality of the restaurant.

Second time back since Covid and they're hitting on all cylinders... I had a great time. Thanks for giving me my favorite table again. The service was as outstanding as in the before Covid times and the place was buzzing and busy again (last time I visited was in March 2022 and things were still opening up). They remembered me and GM came by to say hello. The 7X American Wagyu Ribeye steak was probably the best one I've had in three years. The foie gras app should really be shared but if you skip the bread you can eat it yourself (I succeeded - barely). The bone marrow is also a winner; so many textures. I loved the roasted brussel sprout side - so many nice additions to it to keep it from being plain - it was not. You folks always make me feel a little like a rock star and I will see you again in the fall! Family saw my pictures and were jealous. This was a fun evening.

I visited Bourbon Steak in October and the service (Andrew) and food were both solid. I enjoyed everything I ordered. The duck fat fries and bread were a nice unexpected touch. I don't always come across rib cap steaks so I was excited to try this and it didn't disappoint. The smoked s'mores may have been my favorite part of the meal. I left stuffed and would definitely return.

I wish I could give this restaurant 5 stars. For the price, the experience should be 5 stars. Unfortunately, on the night my friend and I visited, we had a 3-4 star experience. Service was slow and uneven. We waited an hour for a waiter to come take our order for appetizers. We received two different dinner menus with just slight variations between them. Only one of those menus was actually available that night. Our water glasses ran empty more than once. Overall, the restaurant felt understaffed on Easter weekend. My conclusion was that Bourbon Steak should have capped or cancelled reservations to give customers a better experience. Or perhaps they could have turned away walk-in customers? Something was off that night. On the plus side, the food was wonderful. Not life-changing amazing but delicious and cooked just as we ordered it. We tried a bunch of appetizers and two huge entrees. Mine was the braised short rib (which I consumed there and over two more meals at home) and my friend got the Virginia lamb, which he thought was excellent. We also had the broccoli rabe (good and garlicky), the smoked beet salad, the octopus, and a shrimp cocktail. I didn't like the last one because although the shrimp were huge, I thought they were too tough, almost rubbery. I was pleasantly surprised by the non-alcoholic drinks, especially the Tiki Tiki, which included warm cinnamon and grapefruit flavors. I didn't feel deprived of alcohol sipping on that. My friend enjoyed two West Indian limeades and said they were gingery and good. My friend who is usually the most congenial guy astonished me by complaining about poor service while I was in the restroom. The management then covered our shared dessert and coffee. Both were good, and I recommend the strawberry Basque cheesecake if you are ever at Bourbon Steak. However, I doubt I will return to the restaurant myself. When the price tag is so high, I want near perfection in the service. At a high-end place, I also want some jaw-dropping culinary moments. I experienced those at a recent trip to Dill in Reykjavik and a trip to Pineapple and Pearls in D.C. a few years ago. Even a recent Yelp-sponsored trip to Yunnan by Potomac provided more novelty and stimulating surprises than the April visit to Bourbon Steak.

Thank me later....the Bourbon Steakhouse is one of the classiest, sexiest, and tastiest spots to dine in the DMV. Service is superb and Bourbon's definitely goes the extra mile. It was my birthday and when I arrived there were fresh flowers and a happy birthday card signed by staff --very kind and thoughtful and I was in awe! We started with bourbon, well we were at Bourbon Steakhouse! We ordered Employee of the Month (barrel aged 45 days) and Penicillin--Strong and Smooth! We wanted surf and turf, so we had all of our food come at once...we ordered the miso seafood platter--tastiest platter in the area; 8 oz filets (medium)--mouth watering and tender; spinach--creamy and cheesy; mushrooms--flavorful with wine! Delicious, Delicious, Delicious! Everything was on point and just delicious and cooked to perfection. My complimentary cake was so good and I enjoyed it with a cappuccino!

I think the restaurant does a good job of overpricing and making a fancy facade that the restaurant is an amazing place or something. Food didn't live up to the hype. For starters, it was very dark and there was little to no lighting for the tables. I couldn't really see my friends' faces. Looked around and saw maybe like one candle but only at the really large tables. My guess for this is so the patrons cant see how tiny their food actually is. Haha. Very busy even on a Wednesday night. Our waiter took many tables and we barely saw him throughout the night. However service is good. People are kind:) There's a valet in front and you can walk straight into the hotel. Valet is about $15 I think?? We made a reservation online the day of through the Open Table. It was my birthday. They gave me a small free cake + a lighted candle. Super cute!! Really liked the service because of this. Complementary foods: Duck Fat Fries Trio (5/5) Ok, this was actually so good. I devoured this in an instant. Im surprised it's free it's literally SO tasty. would have def paid for tht if it weren't part of the complementary service!! Truffle Bread Rolls (4/5) Tasted much better years ago. Still good though. Tastes a bit like Pillsbury dough croissant or biscuit dough. Not that strong of a truffle flavor as I wanted. Still delicious and fluffy. Also free:) What we ordered: 8 oz Picanha 7x Colorado (4.5/5) | $65 Pretty solid steak. Pretty tasty! Idk what else to say about it, pretty good. Very soft and easy to bite into. Ordered a medium rare, couldn't check out the color because of the restaurant lighting, so can't give an accurate description if they cooked it right haha. One of the Rib-Eyes (4/5) | $80+ It was still pretty good. Very chewy (personally not a fan of the rough texture). Kind of charred in certain areas, didn't like the burnt flavor in some spots. Not as good as the wagyu. It's ok for a steak. Expected a bit more from it. Basque Style Bouillabaisse (1/5) | $56 Oh my goodness can't believe we had to pay up to 60 bucks on this dish. It was NOT worth it. I'm so glad this wasn't my dish because I could not eat it. The bread that came with it was inedible. It because soggy and not appetizing once in the broth. The soup part was also just not it. Had some aftertaste that left my mouth bitter. Maybe it's just the soup itself that normally tastes like that. But not for us. Truffle Mac & Cheese 3/5 $17 Not gonna lie although very tasty, resembled annie's white cheddar instant mac & cheese with just some truffle oil. very thick but don't understand why it's almost $17 for a small pot of it? Trio of mushrooms 2/5 $16 Too much for me. Tasted like just sautéed mushrooms. Not worth $16 to me. Sorry! I normally like mushrooms but didn't really enjoy this. My friend liked it though. So maybe just my taste buds. Smoked S'mores (3/5) $25 or $29 (idr) Presentation was very cool. Hazelnut ice cream on top was SO good. I didn't really like the chocolate nor the cream thing. Too thick and decadent for me. Too much chocolate in one bite. Wish there was more of the graham crust part or more ice cream. Ended up leaving it unfinished. Wish we got the pineapple dessert instead.

Ordered the salmon medium rare - came out rare but very good! Had a martini extra extra dry.....tasted like it had vermouth.....second martini, I watched the bartender make it.....tried to pour a whole shot of vermouth....stopped him....he said extra dry means a double amount of vermouth.....NO!!! At a place like this....i expect the bartender to know what "extra dry" means - he told me....if you don't want vermouth you just order it UP, otherwise it means double vermouth....NO!

Let me start by saying we didn't experience the indoor restaurant...our intention had been to sit at the bar for a drink and what we were told was "the best burger in the country." But when we arrived on a Friday night, the bar was packed. We managed to score one seat after a while, but it wasn't enjoyable. Sure, the decor is great, and the bartenders were friendly despite being very busy. But the crowd was what killed it (and I mean "killed" in the literal sense) for us: phony, plastic-looking people trying to impress and look like money. And lots of young women in heavy makeup and tiny skirts hanging on small men who seemed to be using their wealth (or appearance of having it) to boost their egos. The place simply isn't big enough to accommodate all the egos. Such a weird vibe. I know this bar has the rep of being a pickup place for a certain DC crowd, but I found it all so depressing. But if that's your scene, you do you. However, it was a gorgeous fall evening, and Bourbon Steak's outdoor patio saved the night! Fire pits with comfy sofas and lots of tables, all situated in the hotel's courtyard with lights strung overhead and tasteful greenery and plantings to give it an upscale but cozy feel. We got a table outside, and my mood lifted. You need about three hours to read the wine list, and they have some amazing selections. And let me tell you, the burger was possibly the best I've ever had, just as promised. Wow! Not a cheap night, but a memorable experience for sure. Probably won't be back...unless I find myself craving that burger.

I'll just get straight to the point this place is over priced and underwhelming. Our lamb, salmon and halibut were all under seasoned. The two steaks we ordered were not cooked to the requested temperature and after sending back you just got a super tough piece of meat. The sides were also lacking in seasoning. The whipped potatoes were bland, the lobster Mac and cheese was ok but again could've used some pepper, Brussels sprouts also lacked in flavor. We got a little mini dulce de leche cake horrible. Got a couple bags of popcorn .. burnt. Basically a complete waste of money and a very disappointing birthday dinner. Drinks were good tho!

Super dope spot, service, ambiance and food!! It was my first time going here yesterday night. The staff are sooo kind and professional. They know what they are doing when it comes to taking care of customers. There menu is robust with many options from alcoholic, non-alcoholic, small plates, entrées, and more. Everything came out fairly quick! My date and I had: Trio of fries Bread Michael's lobster pot pie Shrimp cocktail Black truffle Mac and cheese Grilled octopus Beef tartare Overall: 10/10 Everything tasted fresh and amazing!! Ambiance: This spot is classy and elegant. You will find many folks in suits or wearing business smart apparel. They have high tops, bar seating, regular seating, a fire pit outside in the court yard and new cabins added in with seating inside for dinning as well. It was fairly busy on a Thursday night, I would recommend calling in advance and placing a reservation. They have valet parking, coat check, and more that I probably missed.

Absolutely excellent service. Fabulous steaks and scrumptious sides. Ambience = magical. Lovely experience overall!!!

I chose Bourbon Steak to celebrate my birthday for the first time, and it was truly unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the attention to detail. The platter of fries with various sauces served upon arrival was a delightful touch, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. The drinks were expertly crafted and perfectly complemented the meal. The service was impeccable - attentive, friendly, and accommodating. To top it all off, the staff went above and beyond by surprising me with a signed birthday card. Despite not being a steak person, the quality of the experience made me question my stance. Bourbon Steak has undoubtedly left a lasting impression, and I can't wait to return. The ambiance was perfect.

After such a stellar experience at the Nashville location of Bourbon Steak, we were dying to try the DC restaurant. We decided to try it for our 5th anniversary and we were absolutely blown away! Every detail was perfect. From the handwritten note to the complimentary celebratory champagne, we truly had such a special night. The Duck Fat Fry Flight continues to impress, my personal favorite is the truffle option! The truffle butter rolls are the best restaurant bread anywhere we've ever been, hands down. I ordered the same thing here that I had in Nashville, Lobster Pot Pie. Tonight's dish strengthened my belief that this is a "must try before you die" dish! SO DELICIOUS! My boyfriend had the Dry Aged Ribeye and it was cooked to perfection! It was also served sliced which the Nashville location did not do. DC definitely gets the upper hand for that! The sides of Truffle Macaroni and "'Magical" Mushrooms were fantastic. Before we could order dessert, our server brought over a "happy anniversary" slice of cheesecake - which funny enough is what we wanted to order anyways! So refreshing and fruity! All of that to say, you need to visit Bourbon Steak. This is decidedly my favorite upscale restaurant and I am so happy there is a location closer to my Baltimore home than Nashville! I would definitely love to check out the other locations around the country!

Everything was phenomenal! I'd eat here everytime I visit Washington DC. The steak, hamachi, salads, sides were to die for. One of the best meals I've ever had.
