Seattle’s New Restaurant Openings - Seattle - The Infatuation

"After a $2.5 million renovation, the Museum Of Pop Culture recently opened a new upstairs bar serving cocktails that go with the museum’s theme, like the Purple Haze (vodka and pomegranate juice) and the Velvet Underground (whiskey, vermouth, and chocolate bitters). Snacks include tempura squash blossoms, salmon mousse, and koji-aged beef burgers." - kayla sager riley, gabe guarente, aimee rizzo

13 Restaurants with Some of the Best Views in Seattle

"The Space Needle’s bar is known for its slowly rotating floor and views of the city 500 feet above the ground. Reservations for Loupe’s dining and cocktail experiences go for $125 on weekdays and $175 and weekends; the price includes cocktails and a tiered “tower” of meat, seafood, or vegetables. You also get admission to the Space Needle, which may fit the bill for those hosting out-of-towners who want to booze it up at the city’s famed landmark." - Meg van Huygen, Harry Cheadle, Gabe Guarente

Seattle Space Needle’s Loupe Lounge to Reopen April 9 - Eater Seattle

"The Space Needle’s Loupe lounge — a bar known for its rotating floor and views of the city 500-feet above the ground — will open Friday, April 9, with reservations starting at $200 per person. That lofty price tag includes admission to the building, a table reservation for two hours, food, drinks, and parking. While the lounge is more about the fancy schmancy cocktails (think Negronis with liquid nitrogen flair), guests can find a few substantial snacks on the menu, including wagyu sliders, a seafood tower with Kusshi oysters, and Dungeness crab cakes." - Gabe Guarente

Food was pretty tasty, and the BLT comes with fries, by the way. Also , I had deviled eggs, but you know what, it depends on your own taste buds. I thought they were great cancer people with me did not like the texture. Overall, pretty good.

We celebrated my cousins bachelorette party here since she’s not a big party person and this was perfect for her! Our server, Frankie made the afternoon even more special. He was super attentive and charismatic. He offered to take lots of photos which he had the perfect angles for! We all went for the Butchers Tower which was tasty and looked spectacular. Each course was spaced out perfectly and paired with a perfectly balanced craft cocktail. The scenery was beautiful as we got to see the city lights starting to turn on after dark. Personally, felt we got our moneys worth for everything that’s included with the experience. From the valet parking, souvenir photo, skipping the long lines and the lounge experience, everything was perfect thanks to the hospitable staff!

The Loupe Lounge is like a merry-go-round of the Seattle skyline. From the moment you step off the elevator, you are transported. From the cocktails to the views to the towers, the Loupe Lounge showcases the best of what the Pacific Northwest has to offer. We tried the Elevated at Sea, Butcher’s Tower, and Omnivore’s tower. The small plates are packed with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. All of the towers were balanced in offerings and came out at the perfect pace. Each course was paired with an included cocktail. Many of the drinks featured smoke and foam that emulated the clouds we were dining next to! Their mocktail selection was also impressive. The presentation of everything we consumed there was unmatched. The service is outstanding, with attentive and friendly staff who make sure you feel welcome and well taken care of throughout your visit. Many of them have been working at the Space Needle for decades. There were many times that they offered pictures and even anticipated the best backdrops for them! The group shot below was taken by them. From Caviar potato chips, VIP treatment, the best views of Seattle to artistic drinks served in octopus shaped glasses, you’re definitely getting what you paid for at the Loupe Lounge.

The taste of the food was ok(Butcher's Tower), the drinks were unique, the presentation of it all was amazing, and the novelty of the experience was awesome. The views were spectacular and the seating was comfortable. I enjoyed the rotating aspect as well. The waitress we had was so kind and attentive and provided excellent service. We had a great time.

Google
This place was incredible! It was truly a culinary experience! The food was so unique and flavorful, we enjoyed everything!! The waitress was super kind and so friendly. We were a party of 6 and tried all the towers. We certainly had our favorites but everything was really good. The view was just outstanding!!

We had an amazing time at the Loupe Lounge! Full disclosure, we did have to budget for our anniversary evening, but we were so glad we did. The staff was incredibly welcoming, attentive and professional. The food too, was prepared with such attention to detail, it was an enjoyable adventure making our way through each dish. We also loved the drink selection - there is something for every taste! We particularly enjoyed the Elevated at Sea Tower and The Float! It truly felt like a love letter to Seattle.

Google
Reserved the weekend Tower Menu which included an appetizer, a first and second course, a dessert and three cocktails, each per person. Had to purchase a space needle ticket as well. An expensive experience, but completely worth it. The food was really good and fun to explore new things. The drinks were very yummy and there is something for everyone on the menu. The VIP treatment and service are excellent. And then, nothing compares to that View! It was incredible. Thank you Franky for helping us have an awesome girls night out!

Google
The Loupe Lounge is on the slowly rotating floor of the Space Needle with amazing city views over 500 feet up. You’ll need to buy Space Needle ticket and then pay for the lounge separately. We were lucky to walk-in and find a spot at sunset. It’s a small place where you can grab a drink and enjoy 360 degree views. Definitely worth it!

Yelp
I did not know you could sit at the lounge without a reservation! There's a different section for reserved seating and there's some that's first come first serve. I recommend sitting there, ordering a cocktail and some bites if you like. Me, my husband and my cousin came here and had a nice time chit chatting and enjoying views while sipping drinks. This is the revolving floor at the space needle, so kinda fun to get a 360 degree view. I loved their summer bergamot drink and their white bean hummus. The truffle fries were average. Their jalapeno drink was very average too, they put some puréed jalapeno in it or something. They do have some nice dips and they customized to put the crab on the side :) so that a vegetarian like me could eat! I don't think you can see the menu online on their website, but they have a few bites and a small selection of drinks.

Yelp
On a weekend trip to Seattle with friends. We dined at the Loupe Lounge, reservations were made and prepaid two weeks in advance, must be 21+ years of age. The restaurant revolves with a glass bottom floor. I was very nervous at first, walking slowly and not looking down! After a few minutes, I was able tovrelax after seeing others walking, dining and moving freely. Check-in on the first floor, which has lots of photos, books, and a gift shop for all ages. A staff member will verify your reservations check your purse, packages and move an electronic wand from your head to toes, searching for metal (gun, knife). Then, lead you to the glass elevator, which gives you a view of the area as it rises to the top. Dining packages range from $69 to $200 (higher prices on weekend). It was Devine, delicious and daring for an unforgettable experience. $85 - Captain's Table Weekday ($115 Weekend): Sparkling Rose, Wagyu Beef Sliders, Garlic Truffle Fries, Beechers Cheese, Select Salami and Prosciutto, Artisan crackers, pate with mustard sauce. $200 - Lounge Experience: Nitrogen hand crafted cocktails (3 drinks: Ground Control Gin/Pepper/Honey; Liftoff Tequila/passion fruit/pineapple; Wrath of Neptune/Sake, cucumber juice) paired with selected meats and cheeses. Or choose the Space Cowboy Whiskey tasting with Beef Tartar, foie Gras, ribeye bites. $69 - Taste of Washington Weekday ($79;Weekend): Local Wine paired with Wagyu Beef Sliders, Garlic Truffle Fries. $275 - Toast the Night: Dom Petignon Brut, VlCaviar, Oysters, Seafood Tower and dessert for two. Ala Cart menu to add to your package: Sweet and Savory desserts and Charcuterie of cheeses, jamin, pork bits, marinated olives, vanilla meringue, macaroons, dark chocolate ganache.

Yelp
I highly recommend coming to the Loupe Lounge if you are in Seattle. We booked the 'Captains Table Weekday' and upgraded to the 'Champagne Mimosa' experience. And it was sooo worth it. We made reservations at 6:30 pm and were able to view Seattle during the daylight, sunset and night time. The views and overall experience were worth the price of $110 a person. Our experience included the Space Needle admission, valet parking, priority lounge seating, 4 alcoholic drinks each, and an array of foods and dessert. Everyone working there was super friendly and accommodating. I would totally come here again.

Great meal. Great service. Yummy drinks. Amazing views. Pricey but worth the experience

Yelp
We had an outstanding experience at the Loupe Lounge. Not only is the view amazing, but the food was great! We were not sure what to expect and both of us were pleasantly surprised at how good it was! Our server was amazing. She went above and beyond to make us feel special and ensure we enjoyed ourselves.

Yelp
Our party of 4 heard about this from the taxi driver as we were leaving the airport, so morning of the next day we booked a same-day 2pm slot. It came out to $152.71 each. Eating here also gives you free admission to the rest of the Space Needle, which usually costs around $35 on its own. Food was amazing. Wagyu Beef Sliders were tasty even when I left them for last so they were a little cold. The bread chips and spreads and toppings were so, so yummy to munch on while enjoying the view. Also, they have some of the best garlic fries I've ever had in my life. They often came around to make sure we were doing well, refilled waters and our wine glasses, and gave us more bread chips. They also gave us cute birthday-decorated macaroons after they found it was my friend's birthday! I appreciate that everything was prepaid ahead of time, and they didn't ask us to tip at the end on top of what we already paid. Even then, service was phenomenal.

Yelp
The rotating bar is a must do when you visit Seattle. It was a beautiful day and the view was amazing. We purchased the Pop a Cork package which included sparkling rose, wagyu sliders, truffle fries and charcuterie. The presentation was beautiful and the food was delicious. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The Loupe Lounge was my favorite part of our first time in Seattle.

Yelp
The Loupe Lounge is an absolute must! Gorgeous ambiance and delightful cuisine and cocktail that make your taste buds dance! Ask for Frankie, he was the gem of the experience!

Yelp
A unique experience for a special occasion at the Space Needle! We arrived and checked in at the kiosk in the gift shop. The staff were friendly and we were escorted to a VIP line for the elevator to the lounge. The Lounge is modern and has a glass floor that rotates every 39 minutes for some of the best views in Seattle. The staff are friendly and the area was clean. We opted for the weekend Captains table with a 90 minute dining time. As far as the food goes, it was very filling. The meats and cheeses were delicious with locally made selections. The wagyu burgers were good but messy. The dessert was amazing and comes out with a unique presentation. As far as the sparkling rose, it was delicious and paired well with everything. This place would have 5 stars but isn't because of the seating. The chairs are like sitting on the floor and are not comfortable. Also, the tables did not allow for your feet to be under them and the whole time was cramped and uncomfortable. Whoever thought this was a good idea to have tables and chairs like this obviously didn't sit there. There is some other seating that looked more comfortable but the majority of the seating at the window were these low sitting chairs.

Yelp
The cocktail bar Loupe Lounge is on the top of the Space Needle. The two courses dishes are very delicious. The seafood and the meat is very fresh. The bar staffs are very nice and enthusiasm. The revolving restaurant makes us feel happy when we have lunch. Thank you for your service and good dishes.

Yelp
What a incredible experience - the views, the drinks, and the charcuterie were all so exquisite and delightfully presented! You can book online from a variety of experiences (ranging from $60 to $275 per person), we did the Nitrogen Theory ($175 per person). Cocktails -- Paper Plane (whiskey based), T-Minus Negroni (tequila based), and Mission To Mars (gin based). All these drinks came with a liquid N2 show and in creative blown cocktail glasses! Pacific NW Cheese and Charcuterie Towers - components included a terrine, marinated olives and fava beans, goat and sharp aged cheddar cheese spheres and truffle scented caramel, a couple types of cured meats, and crispy toasted baguette shavings. Dessert - Irish whiskey milkshakes. We came on a clear day so there were clear views of Mount Rainier as well as the Olympics, Cascades, and all of Seattle.

Yelp
Visited here in 12/2021 and it was a very memorable experience! I got the nitrogen theory package and my boyfriend got the whiskey package and all the drinks and food were great! I enjoyed the last drink because it was also a dessert which was fantastic! I liked the experience because the floor was moving and we were revolving around to see all the angle of Seattle. Our table and chairs were clear and the presentation was on point The service was excellent and they put on a great show when bringing our drinks

Yelp
What's there not to love??? Spectacular views, outstanding service, elegance, chic and relaxing! The lounge exudes calmness and serenity in its atmosphere! Being that far atop and looking at the majestic views of Seattle fills your heart and soul with awe and gratitude! There is something magical being so far up in the rotating restaurant. I have always loved the space needle and I am so glad it's open again with its glass Floors! Though to be honest it was never about the floors for me! It's still is about the view I see out the window! I gave it one less star because I miss it being a restaurant! I miss the option of having a menu I can order off! The sliders and fries with wine flight just doesn't do it for me! I want the old needle restaurant where one could enjoy a full meal! Overall! Thanks for being open again! Just start that menu back up please! Got to say tho, those truffle fries were fabulous!
google avatar

Alan L.

Yelp
Worth a trip for the view. The packages offer an expensive experience in the revolving restaurant at the top of the Space Needle. The food is adequate and the dessert is a good show (with a liquid nitrogen cloud). It took a few minutes to become accustomed to the clear floor.

Yelp
Amazing experience! I went in January 2022, and was extremely impressed. The Taste of Washington was a must do, and a highlight of our trip. It was so cool to eat and lounge while we were getting a 360 view of Seattle. So lovely. The charcetuerie board was amazing - had some of the best cheese and olives in my life! Worth every penny!

The Last Honest Reviewer ..

Yelp
My wife and I are all about great food and exceptional service. We definitely did not witness anything close to good service here at the Loupe Lounge and the food served was just meat. Nothing on that menu is for a meatless society. My wife is not the biggest meat eater. But it seams the only thing on the menu is meat. Even the charcuterie platter is 80% meat. They served beef sliders too. Their menu is lacking anything life shattering. The chef needs to explore something a bit different in my opinion. Getting OJ to be served with your bottle of Champagne is a chore. They refused to leave a bottle of Orange Juice so we could have Mimosa's. WTF was that about? Leave the bottle of Champagne, but walk away every time with the Orange Juice. The dessert was very good. But overall, the only thing great about eating at the Space Needle was the view. It was exceptional. The food, not so much. The service was just terrible. We'd never go back!

Yelp
Spent a Friday evening circling high above Seattle for a memorable experience for a weekend trip to Seattle. We opted for the 'Nitrogen Theory' experience and wound up with a few more cocktails on top of that. Service was great, all were engaging and explained everything along the way. The drinks were fantastic, the views stunning, and the food was generous in portion and delightfully delicious. During our experience we noticed several tables near us having a 'Smoked Old Fashion' delivered to the table replete with a glass box emblazoned with 'Whistle Pig' that calLed our names loud and clear! We opted for one of those (and they generously offered to substitute my last drink for one of those!). We must of talked about it so much that our server (Kelly? .... very embarrassed I don't recall her name) sent over the bartender (Dennis) to explain and talk about how that drink came about at The Loupe. That conversation went on for a good 15-20 minutes if not longer (with interruptions because.... well .... he was working!) and covered fascinating work history, craft cocktail discussions, and even a recipe exchange!!! An EXCELLENT experience we're sure to repeat again, thanks to the the exceptional staff that made it great!!!

Yelp
Overall a great experience. The staff was outstanding and super friendly and helpful. The view was beautiful. It was easy to get in and we got the VIP treatment. Really is a "must" if you want to experience Seattle. The only negative I can say is that for a hundred dollars I feel that giving us a slider instead of a real hamburger (which it said on the website) was a really cheap move.

Yelp
Wow! What an experience! Not inexpensive, but worth every cent. Two hours of astonishing cocktail mixology, and an amazing view as you sit on a glass floor and revolve your way around Seattle for two hours. Includes VIP access to the Space Needle and valet parking right in front. Three of us visited, so we were able to try all three experiences, from a beautiful Rose Champagne (poured endlessly), a sublime whiskey tasting, and the best cocktail mixology we've ever experienced (and with us coming from Chicago, a real cocktail town, that's saying something). Often the use of liquid nitrogen is more for show than purpose, but here it was put to wonderful use, creating ice cold cocktails, rich slushies, and, yes, a spectacular show. The food was also very good, with top notch ingredients including Wagu beef, truffles, caviar, and raw oysters. Despite all of that wow factor, it was the service that made it particularly special. Our servers were incredibly friendly, talented, gracious, and informative, and we truly felt welcome to this special experience. I could happily go here very day of our stay in Seattle. Truly memorable for even this jaded foodie!

Will G.

Yelp
Dining at the top of the Space Needle was an unforgettable experience, made even better by our exceptional waitress, Kara. The menu featured a delightful fusion of local and international flavors, expertly prepared and presented. The breathtaking views of the city skyline added to the ambiance, making it a truly magical evening. Kara's warmth, knowledge, and attention to detail made us feel like VIPs throughout. A must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience in the heart of the city.

Yelp
While visiting Seattle hubby planned a surprised bday dinner at the lounge he got the "Captains Table weekend" this came with a bottle of wine , Sliders , Truffle fries , cheeses & meats quite the lovely display & while it may not seem like enough food it certainly was, wine was good , great prosciutto , the sliders were amazing very good truffle fries, very tasty the entire thing. Dessert was Macaroons which were very good & because of my bday celebration we ended up with additional ones as they sang happy bday! The lounge is basically a small area on top of the Space needle , such an interesting concept because of its location u get to enjoy the Amazing views. Service was good our waitress was nice & attentive, nice, different fun experience this is certainly something worth trying.

Yelp
This bar is at the top of the space needle I recommend getting reservations because seating is pretty limited. Great wait staff. Awesome drinks. Phenomenal view. We had a nice time relaxing as the room slowly spun. Going to the top of the needle is cool but this made the day extra fun.

Yelp
Worthwhile experience as a tourist - gotta go that one time. Looking back, I would've purchased the Space needle + Chihuly glass garden package ($57) instead of the Space Needle Loupe Lounge package (minimum $79). The glass garden is very close by and would've been interesting (also highly recommended by locals despite the expense). There's a gift shop at the base where you can ask the staff behind a small customer service desk to get on the line to go on the elevator. You need reservations ahead for the lounge, a few weeks ahead if you want the more desirable late night time slots. Or wait for nice weather and book last minute. I wish we just got the normal tickets to go to ($35 pp) and bought a drink at the bar or cafe to enjoy at the tables. Didn't know the entire two floors are available whether you get the loupe lounge or not. The outer area of the lounge rotates slowly but you can experience the glass floors and rotation at the non-lounge area too on the same floor. @ Price - $79+ (other packages for $200+ including more food or wine, and can order more during the time reserved). $79 for the Taste of Washington @ Reservation - make a reservation online, later slots probably better for the night view (after sunset). 90 minutes for the table, but can always walk around the two floors during and after. @ View - pretty awesome 360 view of Seattle, also exciting to look down the glass floors at the base of the Space Needle and surrounding pop art museum, etc. View going up the elevator also pretty cool, funny voiceover included. @ Food - not great, mediocre at best. Taste of Washington includes one wagyu slider per person plus truffle fries. Also wine tasting set (two white two red). Sliders were pretty bad with dry beef and no flavor. Fries were okay and quite truffle-y. We got the foie gras ($16) dessert off the menu, very weird tasting pair of sweet liver balls. @ Service - very good, quite casual and chill compared to the fine dining experience I expected. @ Worth it? Maybe for a special celebration get the expensive package but otherwise, get the $79 package for the basic food and seating with a fantastic view. Would definitely get the package with the glass garden and space needle next time to save $ and get the full experience. Pop art museum also seems fun.

Yelp
While visiting Seattle, Wa; my Guy made reservations for dinner at The Loupe located on the second floor of the Needle. We had Champaign and a Charcuterie board for starters and then moved on to Wagyu Sliders and Truffle Fries. Everything was Amazing. We ended our dinner with dessert. The view is spectacular with its 360° view over Seattle with its rotating floor. We will be back...

Yelp
Got in early and had an amazing time. Food was yummy. Views were spectacular. Service was even better! Wine flight came with sliders and fries! Macarons were delicious!

Yelp
My cousin and I booked our reservations ahead of time and we were able to schedule an afternoon lunch two days before we arrived. When we got there we got to explore the space needle and take photos before going downstairs two floors to the restaurant. We were seated immediately and they were ready for us with the flight of wine on the table. About five minutes later, our french fries and wagyu burgers came out. Everything was amazing. From the view, to the mini sliders, to the french fries, to the dessert, and to the wine. Every single glass of wine was smooth and easy to drink. I wanted to buy each bottle of wine and bring it home but I wasn't checking in any bags. I highly recommend coming here if you've never visited the space needle before. It was really nice to live in the present and catch up with my cousin.

Yelp
1000 percent worth it. Yes it's expensive but you're paying for a once in a lifetime experience. We booked it for a trip to Seattle summer 2021 and were a little hesitant since there aren't a lot of reviews or even overall recommendations for it. But the reservations go up about a month before if I'm remembering correctly and if they have openings... Really recommend doing the last seating so you can have dinner and enjoy the sunset in a way you never have before. The overall food and drinks are pretty good. It's totally more about the presentation. It's more like art. Hope these pictures kinda do it justice.

Yelp
So... where do I start. This place is awesome. Ryan, the guide through the flavor adventure we went on was incredible. He took time to ensure we knew the history of what we were eating, he made sure to help us get a few pictures and he was kind enough to share an amazing gin based cocktail with us. The food was amazing, the views were captivating and the staff was the most friendly I have ever encountered. If you want to show someone a special time, this is the place you go. Definitely recommend getting a reservation.
google avatar

Yelp
My husband and I booked the wine tasting package for our first wedding anniversary which seemed a little expensive but it was totally worth it. The views are breath taking, and the floor is glass too so it's a little unnerving at first. The seating areas are very swanky and intimate, it was so perfect for our special occasion. The package included 4 wine tastings and a slider with fries. Everything was absolutely delicious. You can also order more drinks and food although it is a limited serving menu during the day (the evening menu id much larger)
google avatar

Lea Q.

Yelp
To be completely honest, I was forced to come here because my relatives were visiting Seattle and where else to take them besides the space needle. I've dined here with my family back in the days when this used to be a restaurant with a piano bar, so I was surprised to see this remodeled into a casual lounge. The place was pretty fancy and perfect for couples to celebrate anniversary. As the floor rotates you get to see the view of the whole Seattle + south lake union. We also saw the nice view of mount rainier. As a place with good view, I was surprised by how good the food was. I'm a huge fan of cracker, salami, and cheese. Their selection was different from the average charcuterie board. Everything went really well with the wine pairing they picked for us. I loved the sweet caramel paste and the thin cracker they served. I was a bit worried the food wouldn't be enough, but they finished it off with some delicious wagyu sliders. The only con is the macaroons at the end was kind of underwhelming. I wish they served some specialty dessert like raspberry sorbet or creme brûlée. Besides the taste, the presentation and service here is also top notch and super instagramy. I would definitely pick this place over similar pricey lounges like Ascend and would love to come back again!
google avatar

Yelp
One of the coolest experiences of my life! I would absolutely recommend making a reservation here. It is so worth it. You get mimosas and amazing courses of snacks and sliders. Oh my gosh it is incredible. I had no idea it would be so amazing. The lounge spins around the needle and you get panoramic views of everything in Seattle. It takes about 30 mins to completely spin 360 degrees. I think it is $200 per person but it is a MUST DO. You will not miss the money but you will regret not doing the experience if you decline to visit the Loupe Lounge.
google avatar

Enid Y.

Yelp
Great service and fantastic food and drinks. An over the top experience I also loved the desert we had which was some amazingly presented macaroons
google avatar

Yelp
In order to eat at the Loupe Lounge they recommend you get a reservation. You have to be at least 21+. They have several different priced packages as part of there "experience". Which are pricey considering they add tip and fees on top of the price. You are also forced to pay $27.50 to get admission to the space needle. I figured that would be included in the package price. They do give you free valet parking which is a nice touch. The Chihuey glass museum next door is really worth the stop if you're going to stay in the area. The top level Niteogen Theory package was about $700 for 2 people when we're we're looking to book and we are so glad we didn't go with this package. I'm looking on there website now and it looks like they dropped the price more than half. I wonder if it's in relation to all the other reviews saying it was very overpriced. Which I agree. We did the Captains table which was about $90 per person with tip and fees. The views are spectacular. The restaurant rotates completely around and your table is on a glass floor so it is definitely trippy. I just tried to not look down. As most of the reviews state for the price here it is not worth it. It is a touristy experience to do but to pricey to do it again for what you get. In our package we were huge fans of the wine. We are more cocktail drinks. So much so we just told them we didn't want to drink the bottle and returned it full. The charcuterie board had some hit or miss items but overall not worth the price in my opinion. I will say the service was spectacular and the sliders and fries were delicious. We ordered two rounds. They do have all items on the menu and it is cheaper to order them that way than through the "packages" they get you with online. The table next to us ordered the Nitrógen theory package which was about $700 per couple when we went. They drink mixology was cool and unique and very Instagramable. They cool the drinks with nitrogen and then throw it on the floor and it vaporizes. Pretty cool. So we decided hey we're here let's spend the $25 per drink to get two. Wow they were horrible. We couldn't finish them. The presentation is really cool but that is it. The table behind us thought the same and had to chug the drinks. I'll give the service, the view, the sliders, and the truffle fries 5 stars. I'll give the price and the specialty cocktails 1 star. If I would go back I would just try to walk in and order off the menu instead of getting locked into their "packages". Our package was the most worth it for the price if you like wine. You save more money ordering individually.

Yelp
We celebrated our birthdays here in March. We had never eaten here before. Our waiter was Jimmy. He was aware of my gluten intolerance and made sure I could eat as well! We had a charcuterie sampler. The salami was the best I had ever eaten. Our dessert was mochi! The service was outstanding. The view was nice as well! We even saw Mount Baker! Please don't hesitate to visit this wonderful restaurant!

Yelp
My husband and I had reservations for a desperately needed date day, however our son became very sick. I knew that the restaurant wasn't open on Thanksgiving so I tried emailing. Later that night, my son was rushed to the hospital after having a seizure so I emailed again. The next day I waited for a response but I got nothing. On Saturday I called but I couldn't get anyone on the phone so I left a message. Here we are on Tuesday and I still haven't heard anything. I realize that the Loupe Lounge has a cancellation policy, however there should be room for exceptions. At minimum I should at least get a response from my email or voicemail. We didn't even visit but paid the $200+ for the reservation. I have many years of experience in the hospitality industry and I am very understanding but this is not okay.

Yelp
What an amazing lounge. Definitely worth it! Enjoying the champagne, oysters, and caviar. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Yelp
It is indeed an experience where you pick your wine or custom cocktails in advance and then the charcuterie tower is excellent with wagyu beef sliders and truffle fries. The service is beyond amazing and the view and the glass floor is so gorgeous and cool. But the service is amazing did I say that.....it's an experience not something to do everyday pretty spendy but totally worth it. It's something I would recommend and definitely do again.

Yelp
Is it pricey? Yes. Are the portions small? Yes. Was it worth it? YES! It's a great experience and an amazing view. The glass floor adds a bit of excitement and the food is delicious. But the waiter is what really made our experience amazing. I wish I could remember his name but a Hispanic gentleman that had a shaved head, he gave us great recommendations and put on a nice show. If it's in your budget and the weather is decent then you must do it.

Yelp
While this place is certainly pricey and you may leave hungry depending on what you order as much of the menu is tasting style/charcuterie it is such an wonderful experience if you can afford it for a special occasion. If you're thinking of booking, just know the service is five stars, it's extremely romantic, the presentation is otherworldly and it's a view of the city you would never expect. They were patient with my fear of heights which I'm sure was annoying but I was treated so kindly. Came for an anniversary and everyone made us feel special. We ended up ordering an extra round of drinks after all was said and done because they're was no one booked on our table after and not only did they welcome us to stay and enjoy but covered our cocktails as an anniversary gift. We even got to see a proposal! Every single member of the staff was kind, patient, extremely knowledgeable about the menu and drinks and deserves a raise! They really go all out for your special occasion and all the food was tasty and the presentation was unlike anything I've seen. Super instagrammable

Yelp
We spent 10 days in Seattle and this was my number one dining experience. Had the "taste of Washington'. I've had many eclectic and creative dishes but a plain burger and fries done right (wagyu and truffle fries) makes my taste buddies happy. Take into consideration this package is a ticket up, meal, wine, and tip, it's a great deal.

Yelp
I'll start bc saying this was an amazing experience. I suggest everyone reading this, go. I had the space cowboy. My date had the nitrogen theory. Our best of the night included my wagyu beef tartare. So good we asked for two additional orders. Hers was pork rillettes with apple mostarda and pistachio butter. We could have eaten a pound of this stuff. The wagyu from mine had 4 sizable cubes and there were 3 potato croquettes as well. All very good. Hers was cocktail based, which is fine knowing that going in. There were 4 cocktails served and they were all good. Be advised, these are strong. If you are relatively "normal sized" you will be tipsy by the end of them all. Mine had 3 whiskey samples served with it. But, I'll be honest. I only drank one. All 3 are 120 proof. And I like sweet drinks, so one was far enough. We also orders the grilled vegetable crudite, sliders, and fries. All good but not the same level as the packages. Didn't stand out for the night. As far as the atmosphere, obviously very cool. Great waitress (Cara). The only off putting part of the whole experience was the seating arrangement. I understand it's to best view the outdoors. And, two girls in their 20s did just fine. But if you are a larger man or woman, two TV tray sized glass tables while sitting on a sofa probably won't cut it. We both had to be very careful not to bump anything and it was a tight squeeze. A larger table for all of the items would have been much nicer. They do have some, we just didn't luck out and get one. Maybe ask before you're seated if you believe this would be an issue. All in all, we had a fantastic night, graciously catered by the staff of the loupe lounge. (Pro tip- go at night for the lights). This 12th man is a happy gal.

Yelp
Too much $$f for so little. The Loupe was half empty; we still couldn't go in for one cocktail. We were already told ahead of time by various Seattle residents that the "experience" wasn't worth the cost.

Yelp
This was SO worth it! The experience was luxurious--it's all paid for including gratuity. Free valet parking, we get cut to the front of every line, and such amazing service! They even gave my boyfriend and I complimentary rosé and a cupcake for his birthday! Highly recommend!

Yelp
10 out of 10 would recommend the The Loupe Lounge to anyone who is visiting Seattle. Located inside of the Space Needle, The Loupe Lounge is a private and intimate way to see the views of beautiful downtown Seattle. What I mean it is private is the only way to experience the lounge is through reservations. They have 3 types of reservations ranging in different prices. What I ended up selecting was the "Taste of Washington", which is about $90 per person. In this experience you sit down and are given 4 wines, (2) reds and (2) whites that are grown locally in Washington and Oregon. The host will briefly go over the wines and what makes the North Pacific Vineyards, so different than the rest of the world. However, before any of this, the host asks to take a photo of you and whoever you are with, so you can experience this moment forever. Now you want to talk about hospitality! After you finish your wine, they also have an array of specialty cocktails on the menu that you can choose from. Overall this is a very relaxing experience and recommend everyone to go and check this place out!

Yelp
Fun experience if you're in town! Parts of the food offerings are unique tastes so make sure you actually enjoy most of the flavors they offer

Yelp
We had the greatest time. Andrea was absolutely perfect. She was so helpful accommodating my needs (no red meat). From the person that welcomed us from the start (first floor-security), to the elevator attendant, the hostess and our waiter, our experience at the loupe lounge was simply great! Highly recommend it!

Yelp
I'm not sure what is happening with the Space Needles restaurant but since the renovation it seems there is no longer a rotating "restaurant". Instead its some kind of joke where they charge $225-300 per person to have a few cocktails in fancy glasses and eat appetizers... I don't see the value. Seems like a really sad money grab move. I can afford to splurge but the current prices make the experience inaccessible to most tourists and Seattleites. I hope after Covid restrictions change (or immediately) the management adjusts their image and prices to reflect the city more genuinely. Prior to the update, the Sky restaurant was even better, fairly priced (for a rotating restaurant), and an amazing place for celebrating a momentous occasion.

Yelp
Paid for the champagne and seafood tower options at The Loupe Amazing service and presentation of drinks. They went all out for us. Practiced social distancing with our seating. The seafood tower was honestly not enough since we didn't eat lunch and wanted dinner however their sliders and Parmesan fries were so delicious. We also ordered additional drinks and they made them right in front of us at our table! Oh our ticket also came with dessert-great macaroons and chocolate.

Yelp
Fantastic pomp and circumstance with their mixology and presentation. Food bites were decadent, the flights of whiskey were top notch and the 360 degree views were well worth the price of admission. Proposed to my gf afterwards on the observation deck and the whistle pig flight helped me keep my composure!! Will find a reason to visit again when hosting friends in town.
