I love this place. Epic beer list, great hot dogs, and tater tots. You heard me: tater tots. And you can get them nacho style.

Great cash only bar with great craft beer, tacos and poutine!

great tots and recently had the gordo crunch taco, its hard a hard taco wrappes around with a soft taco. sounds weirs but really tasty

They have a good selection of beer at an average price. Do note that they only have beer and no other alcoholic options. They do have some bar food as well including their famous/infamous hotdog with pickle and peanut butter. Service was fast friendly and clean. Cool decor and lighting as well. Good for a casual meet up with friends but maybe not so great for a first date.

An awesome beer bar with a very low key and semi-eclectic atmosphere. The food is very tasty and pairs well with the beer (think well done bar food). They don't have a license for cocktails or hard alcohol, but for me that's okay. Sometimes they have a hard time keeping the beer list updated... but it's always fun to try something new. The franks are a steal here!

They advertise tacos, but the burgers and hotdogs are also great. Good beer selection in cans/bottles and not a bad (or too expensive, for Boston) draft list. The dollar tot option was great, and about all the tots a person reasonably needs. Also a great $10 special (40 ounce malt beverage and a taco).

Cool little bar to wait out the crowd after a Fenway game. Nice appetizers, try the poutine!

Was at The Kenmore today...8/11/2024. What a superlative place. Both of us had a hamburger for $6.75 and shared a hot dog, which was $4.50. The burger, on a brioche bun--cooked a perfect medium-rare--had bibb lettuce, tomato and pickles. It was one of the most flavorful burgers I've ever had. The hot dog was on a buttered hot dog roll. Again, one of the best hot dogs ever. Even better than the food was the service and staff. 5-star all the way. This place is a right on Commonwealth Avenue, and a 7 minute walk to Fenway Park. Nice and airy with sweet outdoor seating.

Good food at a great price ! Went on a Sunday for football and apps, and they had great specials going on. A little hidden but would definitely recommend stopping by if you happen to cross the Kenmore!

Kind of a small hole in the wall spot? I feel like I found a hidden gem. It's cozy, the food is SO cheap, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I got the kenmore dog, which honestly was a regular hot dog with average toppings, but it hit the spot! Would 100% come back to try the other varieties, they're all under $6. The K burger was perfectly medium rare, juicy, and the K sauce is to die for. Caesar salad is delicious. Portions are a bit smaller than your typical restaurant (but perfect for me honestly), salads and fries are an extra $2.50 but for the burger/hot dog price point, whatever. We happened to come in on a day where Kona beer was having an event and we got free hats- super cute and Kona beer's one of my favorites. Anyway, as much as I'd like to keep the Kenmore as my secret, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quick cheap bite :)

Loved EVERYTHING about this place. The clientele were fun, our server was kind, responsive and friendly, and the food was very tasty. This is not a fancy place but I felt comfortable with my teen kiddos and we each enjoyed the whole experience. Oh -I had the vegetarian sausage... omg it was so good! If you're looking for a break from pretentious eateries but one that similarly delivers on food and drinks -I highly recommend The Kenmore!

Wicked good hot dogs...wicked good burgers...and awesome draft beers and ciders! What more could you ask for? Especially before a game. Fun vibe & super clean. Get here early to grab a seat and enjoy.

Went in last night after a show. Bartender spent time chatting with friends and then when we tried to get his attention, he stopped chatting and made drinks for the wait staff. Very dismissive and rude We left and will not return

Walked past this place multiple times while staying at my air bnb on commonwealth street in Boston and that juicy burger sign caught my eye every time. Finally on my last night I got a chance to try one and it did not disappoint!! Get yourself one if you're ever in the area!

We cannot say enough good things about this place! From the amazing food to the fantastic drinks. The Kenmore has the most amazing staff we have met. The energy and kindness Randall shows is unmatched! We can't wait to visit again!

We went here on a Sunday night and the food, service and atmosphere was just what we were looking for. Our server (Don, I believe), was super friendly and the nachos hit the spot. We're from Nantucket - so going someplace that has great food/drinks at great prices is always a good time!

I ordered online for takeout, and picked it up a little while after the promise time. They had to go out back to check on it (no big deal, but I'm surprised because they immediately brought it out). I ordered the fries tray with a side of ranch and a pub burger with tomato. They didn't give me the ranch, and there was no Kenmore seasoning. I'm quite disappointed. There also was no bacon on my burger. I've never ordered takeout from here before, and I don't think I will do it again.

The hubs and I stopped in after a Yanks-Sox game over the weekend. This is the spot where Lower Depths used to be - which I LOVED. The service here is great. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. The food was just okay. We got a quesadilla, which was a little boring, and some Philly steak and cheese egg rolls, which were really lacking in substance and flavor. They do have a good beer menu, but I wish there were more options, especially porters and stouts. Overall, it was a pleasant way to sit down, relax, and grab a drink and a bite until the T died down after the game. Hoping next time, the experience is just a little tastier where the food is concerned.

What a charming place for a beer and a bite! First off, I am so appreciative of a kitchen that is opened late! The veggie dog was delicious and paired with the Brussels sprouts it was the perfect meal. The variety of options for beverages on tap was awesome. Finally, the service was great. Overall, would definitely recommend.

Stopped by here for a quick drink/ bite with my brother when visiting town. Grabbed a pumpkin beer and the vegetarian dog , which both of which were great. I'll keep this short and sweet - great drink selection and really good food at a great price point. If you find yourself on Comm Ave, definitely pop in, have a quick convo with the Staff, and enjoy the food/ time. 5/5

I usually write dumb reviews and weird stuff on this website but honestly this place was amazing. The workers were always so nice, the service was quick, the food was cheap and honestly so delicious, and I'd come back in a heartbeat. Right by Kenmore station, and way closer than Tasty Burger (and a better deal and ambiance), honestly one of the best burgers for price and taste I've had in a long while. There are also late night deals which are amazing, but we didn't get because we came too early (it was Sun-Thurs at 10 pm-11:30pm and Fri-Sat from 10pm-12:30 am, K Burger for 2.50 and basic dog for 1.50), but honestly with it being open so late, I'll be back. This place is amazing.

We went in on a Saturday late afternoon. There must have only been 2-3 people working because the poor waitress was running all over the place. We took it upon ourselves to sit down at a table (no one was seating). She came over pretty quick, but I believe only because we were sitting next to a bigger party. She took our drink order and it took about 20 minutes for them to come to the table. After that.... Well we waited and waited and waited. I tried flagging down the waitress, she even looked right at me but still didn't come over. *we saw other patrons helping take drinks to their tables and clear off their own dishes* During our wait more people showed up. And someone who we took as either the owner or the manager was walking around helping everyone but us. He was even having drinks and bites of food off of what we thought might be his friends or family table. After what seemed like an hour but probably another 20-30 minutes, we still hadn't ordered food (or even had the opportunity to pay for the drinks we had and run for the hills). But new people coming in for drinks, food and way more attention. I believe it must have been the utter unpleasant look on my face that made the "owner/manager" walk over and ask if we were doing ok. Once I said NO, and explained he promptly had the waitress come over. She took our food order (would have had to walk somewhere else and probably wait to even be seated at this point). The food came out rather quickly and my quesadilla was good, but my husbands nachos were greasy and the cheese was almost "plastic'ish". They did comp one round of drinks for our convenience. And I did give them 2 stars because my drink and quesadilla was delicious. I want to say that our waitress did apologize as well as the owner/manager, but seemed rather annoyed that we were even upset.

We were a little concerned because the restaurant was empty. That always makes you a little nervous. We decided to stick it out and we were not disappointed. Chicken sandwich and cheeseburger with fries were very good. We didn't leave a crumb. Came out very hot. Service was very good and fast. Restaurant had a full bar. It is a quaint little basement restaurant with street parking. You imagine this place has some history to tell. We would stop in the next time we are in town.

First bar in Boston we came into after checking into our hotel down the street Friday before the game vs. Dodgers and had such a great time we decided to come back again before leaving to the airport Sunday afternoon. Food, beer and staff were great.

They have great deals on their burgers and they were actually really good. Stumbled into here randomly after a concert. The drinks were strong and tasty. The employees were very friendly and welcoming. Been here now twice and each time great.

I ordered the smoke house burger with k fries and they were super yummy. This is a super convenient place with great prices and deals.

Great place to stop before going to Fenway or a show at house of blues! Really quick service and all the food came out super fast.

Went for $3.50 K-Burger after 10pm. It used to be $2.50 with the addition of cheese only an extra 50¢. The recently increased price also includes the extra cheese which is now $1.50! The burger is good and they do offer a Gluten Free bun, but I wouldn't say it's much of a discount since the burger is normally $4.95.

I went on a rainy sunday morning, so it wasn't too busy. One other table in there. The bartender was very nice and gave great recommendations. I got the smokehouse burger and I must say that it was one of the best burgers I've had in a very long time.

The Kenmore always has good beer on tap, especially IPAs. I do wish they had more darker beers. The food is really cheap and solid too. The portions aren't massive but it's worth the price. They have a few options for vegans/vegetarians too.

Beer selection excellent and good variety and prices fair. The Brussels sprouts was all shavings... one or two pieces of a sprout... no onions or sauce as in other pictures. But see they charged 2.95 for the side vs a full side price. Pub burger was good, nice roll toasted. Fresh lettuce, bacon I didn't taste unless was the bits on burger. Nice vibe, music, quick service, great beers... I'd go again. Need a Italian sausage with pepper and onions option. Tuna melt, Fried fish sandwich ... mushroom burger.

We went to the Kenmore after an event at Fenway on Sunday, November 12. The service was quick and friendly. The burgers were excellent. Everyone enjoyed our meal--especially the K fries. At the end, there was nothing left. The prices were quite reasonable. I will certainly look to return the next time we are in the area.

If I could give a zero, I would. Not even "bad service." Disrespectful service. If you like the staff talking about every person dining, this is the place for you! Actually the most disrespectful establishment I have stepped into.

The kenmore has a very good deal for hot dogs and burgers past 10, which is why a group of my friends like to grab a late snack there. However, this last time we visited, the service was atrocious. One of the waiters was very snappy and seemed angry that we were there for the deal. While we were eating, she was back behind the bar and started angrily screaming that she'd been there all day, so loudly that everyone inside stopped to stare. On top of this, a different waiter kept coming up to our table to try to talk to us, interrupting our conversation and making us very uncomfortable. He just stood next to our table and kept asking us questions like where we were from, what school do we go to, etc while we were trying to eat. When he would not leave us alone, I interrupted him and asked for the bill. He then said "Wow, I thought you were cool, I'm gonna go back to the other side of the table" and then proceeds to try to talk to my friends while ignoring my request. When we did finally get the bill, I tipped 18% even though the service was horrible out of courtesy of the good deal that we got. He then had the audacity to approach my friend and say "I thought you guys were cool but your friend only tipped $2", which is just a straight up lie and absolutely inappropriate. The cherry on top of all of this is that these two waiters were slapping each others' asses in front of everyone inside while we were eating. I don't know what is happening at the kenmore, but I really hope they figure it out.

Nice close option to grab a bite and a drink before a show at the MGM, or a game at Fenway. I would recommend the gobbler burger. Tasty and unique.

I never write reviews but the kenmore and its wonderful staff are more than deserving of a five star review. The food and drinks are incredible and I truly have never had a meal here that hasn't left me full, happy and satisfied. If it could get better the staff are so welcoming and fun. Randall especially. He makes the Kenmore feel like home to everyone that walks in and is such a fantastic bartender. I wish I could write more than a paragraph because that's what this place deserves. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.

Above average beer list and plenty of Miller High Life to go around. Stopped in here twice during a weeks trip. Within walking distance from Fenway and was a good post game bar food choice.

The Brussel Sprouts were seriously on point! The service was delightful, attentive and nice. We were there at an off peak time and were 1 of 2 table in the entire place though. The bartender was also the server. Not sure what it's like during peak hours.

Small but fun little place located just outside the hustle and bustle of Fenway park. Wait staff was very attentive and the food came out really fast almost too fast. We found that the burgers were perfectly cooked and very tasty, however, we were not so impressed with the nachos they look good but didn't taste as good as they look. I will text only recommend a place if you're going out for drinks after the game or before the game and definitely recommend getting a burger

I ordered the smokehouse, no cheese & substituted bbq for the k sauce. Literally the best burger I've ever had. Cooked to perfection. The k fries were a little over seasoned for my taste but they were still great. Chile lime seasoning I think but unconfirmed. Server was great as well. The inside was clean and welcoming.

The prices could not be any more unbeatable than at the Kenmore! You get what is equivalent to a sort of ShakeShack type burger (smaller burger) for $3-4 less than you would pay at ShakeShack and without the 'fast-food' ick attached to it. The K sauce is awesome and I have never gotten a meal from there that I did not enjoy. They also have a great selection of cocktails to choose from and the bartenders and waitstaff at the Kenmore are so nice and helpful- it is great to be able to see some of the same friendly faces around when I come in.

Great little hidden gem of a pub with good ambiance, friendly service, and some of the cheapest pub food around.

Very friendly and attentive service. Food was pretty good pub fare. Nice atmosphere. We went for lunch midweek, and it wasn't too crowded. Prices were very reasonable.

Food decent and the drink menu is great! Got some drinks on draft and nachos to share. The nachos were a huge tray that I wasn't expecting for the price. It's a nice spot to wind down. Not sure how packed it gets on the weekend but wouldn't be surprised if it was.

Super cheap and high quality food! Perfect for nights when I miss the dining hall but don't want to spend too much on food. The burgers taste homemade and never leave me feeling gross. Their fries are also on McDonald's level. Love it here! The service is also incredible! They're always super nice. The ambiance is fun! Typical sports bar, but when it's warm out they open up one of the balls and it just makes the atmosphere so much more fun!

Again another great experience, came to pregame before the Red Sox's game and damn it was a home run! We had amazing service from our server he was super kind and helpful I didn't catch his name but her definitely deserves a shoutout, had black hair in a bun/pony, anyways he was super chill. Food portions and guilt free and the beer keeps flowing! Love this place, definitely a hidden gem in Kenmore/Fenway area! Will be back again!

My son and I were very happy with the K burger. Like another reviewer noted ... like Shake Shack but less expensive. Service was good & fast. Staff was very friendly. It had a good, positive vibe. It's very close to Kenmore (and the hotel we were staying in) -- I'd definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Quite place, kind & welcoming staff. Great place to go for a beer & some good food! I came in since I'm new to the area, there were only 2 other people in there at the time (it was about 1pm). Clean space, felt safe & welcoming. I'd recommend for a group of about 4 or if it's just yourself.

Kenmore is the BEST hidden gem on Commonwealth Ave. Just steps away from Fenway and all the convenience of Commonwealth, Kenomore offers a full wine and beer selection including a robust list of local brews on tap. The menu has something for everyone - gourmet burgers, wings, (fancy) nachos, simple salads and vegan options for the lettuce eating, animal loving crowd. So good that I came here two nights in a row. For those who are vegan, the grain bowl is one of the best ever - light vinaigrette for a tangy twist, avocado for a "rich-creamy" texture and the sweet potato adds another dimension. Best yet and true to Boston hospitality, Peter and Connor, who operate the joint, are the friendliest and the best of New England. Enjoy!

The Kenmore was an amazing experience! The bartender was extremely helpful with recommendations on their menu. The Mac N Cheese was a hit highly recommend you visit The Kenmore.

Pretty solid deal for the food considering how close it is to Newbury. Burger was solid (not great), but I'll definitely be back for lunches. Overall, I thought it had a pretty nice old school tavern type of vibe and the server was very friendly! Definitely worth a stop in for a drink (or 3) and a burger

Ducked in to find a dry place out of the rain close to Fenway Park. We found a friendly place with decent food at a fair price. Actually went back the next day for breakfast. Will return next time I'm in the area.
