"This Bernal Height dive bar is always crowded thanks to its lineup of weekly music events. Sundays bring a bluegrass jam, where local bands strum until last call, and Wednesdays feature multi-instrumentalist jazz sessions. Fridays draw the most people with karaoke night. The big horseshoe-shaped bar in the middle serves habañero margaritas that perk us up as well as a triple-shot espresso. This Bernal Heights dive bar is a beacon of energy on an otherwise quiet street, and on Fridays, their karaoke shakes the whole neighborhood. There’s a big stage, so don’t come here if you have stage fright, but do come prepared to sing a power ballad with your best friend.
