"The Lyric is a West End oasis; the kind of small, honest boozer everyone looks for but can never find. It packs out quickly with the after work crowd, but there’s some comfort in that, too; the convivial atmosphere means it’s easy to forget that Piccadilly Circus is just around the corner. A good selection of ales and craft beers are on tap, and a concise wine list does what it needs to. Proper." - Adam Coghlan, James Hansen

We stopped here today while exploring the area, initially just for drinks. However, we decided to try their Sunday roast, and it turned out to be an excellent decision! We opted for the Sharing Roast, with three meat option, and chose pork belly, ribeye, and chicken. Each meat was cooked to perfection, tender, and flavorful, making for an unforgettable meal. The portion sizes were incredibly generous, ensuring everyone left the table satisfied. The accompanying vegetables were tasty and perfectly cooked, complementing the meats beautifully. The Yorkshire pudding was a highlight—deliciously big and full of flavor, just the way it should be. Our family members who chose the ribeye roast were equally impressed. The portion was ample, and the meat was succulent and tasty. The meal was outstanding, and today's experience was one we will definitely want to repeat. Additionally, the staff were super friendly, adding to the overall enjoyable experience! I highly recommend The Lyric for anyone looking for a top-notch Sunday roast. We will certainly be back for more 🤗😋

The best fish and chips in the area. And for that matter we had an incredible roast there once a couple of years ago, so if you are there on a Sunday make sure to check it out. Our fish was full of flavour. The coating flavoursome and the texture wonderful and flaky. The only problem they have a venting issue in the kitchen and the window in the hall needed to stay open so being Easter it was pretty cold ( I kept me coat on)

Awesome beer, awesome food, awesome staff. Was heading to a show and looking for a not-super-touristy pub for a quick beer and dinner and this was the perfect place. The upstairs had a quaint little room (with fireplace for when it's cold) and a great view for people watching below. I had a burger and a couple beers (good regular and craft selection), and would definitely come back.

Main person seemed friendly although was struggled with staff not showing up. The main server who got my drinks was not wanting to help or answer my questions. I asked her to read one of the flavors of cider to me as it was at the back of the bar and I said I didn’t have my glasses. She just kept on pointing and saying ‘well we only have one’ ….. also, £27 for 1 pint and 2 glasses of Prosecco …

I like this pub in Soho and just a stones throw from Piccadilly Circus. The service was excellent despite it being busy for a Tuesday afternoon. They have an excellent collection of drinks, 7 cask ales, 3 cask ciders and 20 keg beers and ciders. They also have around 25 whiskies and I opted for a double Makers Mark which was reasonably priced at £9.60. They have an upstairs dining room, usual pub fare, burgers etc. Watch out for their daily specials eg on Mondays a burger, chips and a drink for £16.95.

We walked the city for a while on Christmas Day until we found this bar. It served an absolutely delicious first and chips. It was packed but it had some seats on the ground floor. The bar is local and we could see on a normal day that this is where the locals would gather and they do have a wider collection of food. Would come here again during a normal day (non PH!)

A proper alehouse, rare in this part of town. Great choice of 8 cask ales when I popped in, with plenty of craft ales as well. Less obvious breweries are featured, like Sambrooks, Harvey's & Exeter. Small and intimate, but friendly and timeless. £5.50 for a pint round here ain't bad, either. Service can be half-arsed, though!

We - family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids - had a Sunday lunch at the Lyric and we definitely enjoyed it. Nice atmosphere, very good food (glad we had the opportunity to experience the Sunday roast) good beer and friendly stuff. The upper room has a nice fireplace which makes the atmosphere cozy. Hope to come back again soon, highly recommended!
