The M Stop Deli

First time here and it was great! I ordered 2 of the T Line sandwich and asked kindly for avocado instead of cheese. The worker was really nice and made the sandwiches very fast. Both sandwiches were big and lots of deli meat in them. The dutch bread was also very fresh. Also got the rice krispie banana dessert, great combination idea. Recommend getting it if you want something sweet. Extremely good and great atmosphere!

The M Stop Deli, that's where we'll get our lunch, then he said we'll take our lunch out to Ocean Beach along with that pail of sardines, catch a sea lion and drop it off at Union Square like Hobert and I did last month....it'll be funny as F! Well... we were just about to put that darn sea lion in the truck when a game warden spotted us and made us put it back in the ocean! And...in all that excitement, all I could think about was how amazing that sandwich from the M Stop Deli was. It was truly spectacular! 5 stars all day ✨️ ☆☆☆☆☆

The M Stop Deli is a great stop for a satisfying sandwich in SF. I’ve tried the M Line, T Line and the P Line on Dutch Crunch bread. All were amazing, but my favorite was definitely the M Line with the really tender beef tri-tip! Portions were generous, ingredients tasted fresh, and it’s great having a halal deli option like this in the city. I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.

I came across this place on the DoorDash app while I was hungry and in need of something to eat. It is pretty unique that they name their sandwiches after the different muni bus lines from San Francisco. Their sandwiches are special from others, it is packed with a combination of meats, vegetables and special sauces they use. Everything is made from scratch daily which is a plus. This place is fairly new in the neighborhood, I remember when it used to be a liquor/convience store. They also offer drinks and snacks besides their awesome sandwiches. I highly recommend this place for all sandwich enthusiasts, anyone looking to try something new or if you just happen to be in the area. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.

This place has such a warm atmosphere ✨ So Perfect for a couples who like to split a bite! When I tell them I'm splitting it with my husband, sometimes they write cute stuff like Hers & His <3 I love coming here, and if you love culture and food this is it. 💗

What a gem! The M Stop Deli blew me away with its delicious food and impeccable service. The staff was not only friendly but also genuinely helpful in suggesting the best options. I went with their classic chicken Caesar sandwich, and it was fantastic – the chicken was grilled just right, and the Caesar dressing added a creamy, flavorful touch. This is where Sam's market used to be. But now it's a newly opened and very nice neighborhood deli / grocery / convenient store. They make super delicious sandwiches with fresh ingredients from Boar's Head. It is one of those local gems... Very yummy... You got to try it. Especially their roast beef sandwiches. And if you love cat, you might be lucky enough to see their cat Sazu or Muni in house.

I was visiting from out of town, looking for something really good and flavorful for lunch and The M Stop Market and Deli definitely did not disappoint. My partner and I ordered two sandwiches (The M Line & The J Line) we went half on both & lunch was exactly what I was looking for. We also got a mini banana pudding rice crispy treat that was made by a small business - don't sleep on their mini deserts.. it was also 10/10 & the cherry on top of a perfect meal. This is a grab and go place but the owner was still so nice and helpful during our short interaction. You can tell that he genuinely cares about his business and his customers. The place was clean, organized, and the menu was well displayed. 10/10 would definitely recommend and I'll be stopping by every time I'm in town.

Been wanting to try their hot food for over a year now ..finally called and ordered The M Line (on sourdough) for pick-up, mans said "ok gimme 15 minutes" and i was soon on my way walking the hills from Ocean Ave. area~ So worth the inclined walk; my sandwich was delicious and well-balanced (soft sourdough, tender and tasty beef and a perfect amount of onions/veggies and spices) . and it was indeed ready in 15 minutes! i was able to pay for my M Line sandwich in cash & then hop onto the M train right after. The man running the business was chill & makes great food !! recommend B)

My first time trying this place, and I enjoyed their sandwiches. What I enjoy is the fact it's halal meats, and so it's a good option for those who want to eat meat, and not worry about eating pork. It's fresh and delicious! I ordered the T Line on sourdough with pepper jack cheese. It's a big size sandwich, hot, and plenty of fillings. The place is a tiny deli and it's a stop-and-go. No place to sit but honestly you can easily pickup and go to the beach or park to eat! The price is pricey (17$-ish) but worth it for the amount of meat and veggies they put in. The service was nice, accommodating, and helped us pick the best sandwich. Check this out!

This place always hits the spot. I have been coming to the shop since 2022 and the sandwiches are so good! I highly recommend the M or T line those are my two favorite sandwiches. The sandwiches are made fresh with love and the customer service is great. They even let us sample the meat with different sauces to see if we liked it or not. Definitely will be back again.

An Ingleside gem -- I may have just found my new favorite sandwich spot in the Bay Area (nothing to sneeze at)! The team here truly delivers on sandwiches and service. From the first bite one can taste just how much care they put into preparing each sando. The ingredients are top notch, from: the meat they pack in generously (halal btw), fresh veggies & toppings, to the amazingly fresh bread like the Dutch Crunch. Wow! Their menu has a stacked lineup & we tried the L, the T, and the J. The J has tender chicken seasoned in just the most amazing seasoning and spices; the T was deliciously packed with several meats and sauce; and the Turkey provolone pesto is always a win in my book... I only wish I found this place sooner, I'll definitely need to come back soon. Until next time!

Small deli in a corner store. Had the M Line sandwich on the soft roll with everything. It was delicious! The Tri tip was tender and there was a smoky sweet sauce.

Store is dirty and run down inside. Most of the chips towards ground level were expired and the sandwich was good but not worth getting again. Tried it cause of the hype and seen a few foodies on instagram go there but overrated as hell and I wouldn't go back. Calabria Bros best sandwich spot so far in my opinion.

I got the K Line - pastrami. Place was fine. Cute and friendly cat greets you. Lame that they charged me $.51 to use my credit card (it wasn't disclosed, so I'm not sure that's even legal...) Not much sandwich for the $, honestly. I don't think I'll be returning.

I was introduced to the M stop at an event they catered last year and I've been hooked ever since! The "M line" tri tip sandwich is SO GOOD I've had plenty of good sandwiches at many other notable delis in the city, but the M stop has become a favorite of mine and I'm constantly craving it over other sandwich spots. The owner Sal is a young guy, super friendly and accommodating; you'll feel good about supporting his business and growing family. DEFINITELY check this spot out and be sure to say hey to Muni, the shop kitty. Don't miss out, these are arguably some of the best sandwiches in the Bay Area, in my opinion!

We came from Los Angeles and was looking for a good sandwich. I got their Tri-tip & chicken Sandwich and it was great ..better than I thought it would be. Definitely coming back here when I'm in the Bay Area!! Owner was super cool!

Great sandwiches, fast service! My go to is the K-line, sandwiches are always warm. My partner enjoys the j-line. They have Dutch crunch and awesome garlic sauce for the sandwiches. Perfect for grab n go for beach day or park day!

Sandwiches are FIRE! Our first time here we loved it so much we came all the way back. We honestly just find an excuse to come out this way and we reside in Hayward. Service was good, not to much interaction because we order ahead and just pick up. It's your local shop in the corner not fancy or anything but you can just tell when you look at it, it's gonna be good! 10/10 ALWAYS COMING BACK. lol

Whew let me tell you! My husband was talking about this place and since we were in the bay today I said let's go there. I ordered the J line ( halal Chicken Breast, melted mozzarella cheese, M stop roasted red pepper roasted spread, M stop garlic spread, and toasted tomato pesto marinara) on sourdough bread with all the fix-ins ( onion, peppers, jalapeños, lettuce, Mayo and mustard). Omg this sandwich was to die for!! It was warm, the cheese was melted and it was the flavors for me! lol! Seriously the staff were amazing to help me decide on what I wanted, the sandwich was fresh and quick to be made. The ambiance is a typical sandwich/ deli and no complaints from me. Definitely enjoyed my lunch/ dinner and can't wait to come back.

I'm based in NY but travel to California often, and I've tried this spot a few times--wow, it never disappoints! I seriously dream about these sandwiches when I'm back on the East Coast. They're absolutely worth every penny; the quality of the meat is top-notch, never anything less. Each sandwich is packed with flavor. The owner is incredibly hospitable too--he's the one making the sandwiches, and he really knows how to take care of you.

DELICIOUS! Me and Raul took our lunch hour and drove down the street to get some sandwiches, chips and a drink. I ordered the T line and was super satisfied with the amount of meat and the flavor of the sauces. My husband got the Geleen. He was really happy with that choice! Definitely gonna make this shop a regular on our lunchday dates!

FOOD 11/10 - I do not like banana peppers, onions or jalapeños but today i ate them all in the most delicious red pesto sandwich on a dutch roll. Amazing. Highly recommend the sandwiches at this spot! I got a K Line with turkey added and it was extremely well made. All the flavors meshed perfectly together and the sauces complimented the overall sandwich. I'm a huge sandwich nerd and found this to have the perfect balance. Not sooo much meat that it's hard to eat, but just the right amount where you can enjoy the bread and other fillings. The owner of the shop was extremely friendly. He has plans to make the sandwich corner more inviting and decorated. Come and try the sandwiches, I'll be back!

Do not underestimate this market and deli shop because they sell some of the best sandwiches I've ever had. (One of the very rare cases where I didn't take a picture of my food... because it was that good.) I remember when I first had it at an event and ever since, I couldn't stop thinking about it. Of course, had to take the opportunity to order catering again at another event. We ordered a couple of different sandwiches, but the M Line was a huge hit! Everyone was going back for seconds. The slow smoked halal beef tri-tip was so tender and absolutely delicious. Along with the in-house spicy bbq sauce, garlic spread, melted Colby pepper jack cheese and sliced jalapeños.. man it's a party in my mouth. I'm also a big fan of their N-Line which is their veggie option. If you told me this was a veggie sandwich, I wouldn't believe you. That's how good it was. Sal and his team has left us all speechless. Thank you for serving us. 1000% would come back. February 2023

I have lived in Ingleside the last 10 years and this is a 10 minute walk away from my house. I've been away the last 18 months, so had no idea this place opened until I saw it mentioned on Tiktok of all places. So glad the algorithm found me and led me to this gem. Love a good fancy sandwich, and these did NOT disappoint. Will be looking forward to trying some of the other menu items. Owner is also local, and love supporting new business owners that grew up in the area. Highly recommend making a trip out here just for these sandwiches!

Spend 28 bucks at Deliboard or come here for 15. I only wish I had a friend or two with me when I got my food so I couldve tried more of their sandwiches.

I live near by and noticed that the liquor store had turned into a deli. The day to give it a try has come. Inside and out the deli has a SF motif, from the bus ticket menu to the sports murals on the outside wall. Ordering and sandwich prep went quickly. Sandwiches were good but i feel the prices were a bit steep (almost $40 for 2). This place will cross my mind when I'm craving a sandwich but not sure I'll be back before i try something else.

I have been to this amazing deli twice. The first time I went I had the l line sandwich. The l line has the smoked turkey, melted provolone, onion, roasted red pepper spread, m stop garlic spread, lettuce, tomato on a sourdough roll. This sandwich was bursting with flavor and all the ingredients went together well. The second time I had the smoked beef tip with m stop garlic spread, bbq sauce, mustard, onion, tomato, lettuce, banana peppers and pepper jack on Dutch crunch bread. My wife had the J line which is the chicken with melted mozzarella cheese, onion, lettuce, jalapeño, roasted red pepper spread, m stop garlic spread, roasted tomato pesto marinara on sourdough roll. My wife loved her sandwich. She said it was delicious. The customer service was wonderful and the staff were very helpful. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. The ambiance is customer friendly. This is a great place to order a sandwich.

Man these guys make the best sandwiches in town for an affordable price. Not only that but they welcome you like you're entering someone's house so it has that nice vibe to it. This corner store sub mini spot is so dope. Reminds me of childhood. First time coming here, staff was friendly. Got the bbq chicken on Dutch. With everything. Man that first bite was so bomb. Fresh ass red onion, crispy lettuce. JUCICY ASS CHICKEN and that bbq sauce. Perfect spicyness. I'm going back for that tri tip. Sheesh. Two thumbs up m stop!

Why weren't you guys around when I was growing up in the neighborhood??? Literally, the best sandwiches ever, even better than Ike's! There I said it... I got a variety to take home all the way to the East Bay. I got the P, K and L. All delicious made with high quality ingredients. The rolls were so fresh! The spreads so good, the meat well seasoned. Keep up the great work and please come to the East Bay!

Luckily live close by to the M Stop and their sandwiches are always the perfect afternoon lunch. They are consistently delicious and fresh. Staff are super friendly and so is the cat Muni!

I only have good things to say about M-Stop; The owners are incredibly hardworking and accommodating. They helped us put together a catering order for 30 people last minute and everyone loved the food. the meats are smoked in house everyday and you can tell a lot of love went into making them. we'll be back for more

First time there, homie gave us a slice of homemade banana bread it was fire. We got three sandwiches L-line, K-line, and J-line, and they were all delicious! Definitely going back!

Uh... why didn't I find this place earlier??? OMG the tri-tip sandwich is DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELICIOUS! The bread was also suuuuuuuuper fresh and soft. I also got a sample of the chicken, and I am going back next time I'm in the neighborhood! I stumbled upon this little shop because I was driving by, and I could smell the yummy beef being smoked outside the store. For us planet-conscious peeps, this place serves halal meat, which was really tender and flavorful. Plus, the owner, Sal, is a super nice guy with great customer service! You have to buy a sandwich from this place or you'll be missing out!!! This is a MUST-EAT-AT place for tourists and a GO-TO for locals!

Honestly one of the best spots in town! Usually when you go to convenience stores they are overpriced but M Stop makes sure to cater to our community with reasonable prices. Definitely stop by when you get a chance, the owner is super friendly and welcoming! Brings light to the neighborhood!

If you haven't tried a sandwich from here what are you waiting for? Have almost tried all the trains and they all smack. Customer service is amazing they know how to take care of you. Plus it's nice to chop it up with a local. The interior is clean and parking can be a hassle but I just double park and slap on the hazards lol.

As soon as you walk in you're greeted by Muni the cat! He's so adorable & cute, the environment is very chill. One of the best Deli's I have been too ! The sandwiches are delicious, definitely worth the price! I would recommend this to anyone in the neighborhood.

Very cool place with yummy sandwiches. All their sandwiches are yummy. The only two complaints is 1st I wish they put more veggies in the sandwiches beside ordering lettuce wrap and 2nd is selling hard liquor. They do sell wine and beer but no hard liquor. I know it's hard to get a liquor license now in SF but Maybe in the future? Overall, they're service and food is a great. I definitely will be back and They are also right in front of the M train too.

Tried this for the first time recently. It was surprisingly underwhelming considering the reviews. I tried their signature M-line sandwich and as a sandwich connoisseur it lacked taste, inspiration and satisfaction. I was yearning for more out of it. I phone ordered and when I got there it still wasn't ready so service took a little longer than expected. Inside was a typical convenient store. I'd probably give this place one more try if i was around but it definitely isn't worth traveling for. Rating 2.1

Stopped by this small corner store for their sandwich. I ended up getting the K line and it is SO GOOD HABIBI！i recommend everyone to come here and try their sandwiches. I had K line on the soft roll and the end result was a soft moist sandwich that is very very tasty. I'd definitely be back again when i'm in the area.

Cool local sandwich shop that is like a corner store bodega. They were out of sing stuff when i went but it was later in the day. Hopefully they keep stocked and let the sandwiches fly!
