The M Stop Review - Ingleside - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"The M Stop is an Oceanview deli that has fully committed to the MUNI theme. The sandwiches are all named after different train lines, the menu is designed to look like vintage MUNI tickets, and there’s even a row of seats on the ground by the shelves of chips and drink fridges (for decoration, unless you’re down to sit on the floor). After you admire the public transit paraphernalia, focus on the sandwiches. They’re so stuffed with meat (such as thinly shaved pastrami, halal chicken breast, or roasted turkey) that they’re cylindrical, and each one is finished off with a swath of house garlic spread. We especially like the dutch crunch they use here—it’s got a light sugar crust and is squishy without getting soggy. photo credit: Julia Chen" - Julia Chen
