The Mad Italian - Review - Chamblee - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"The Mad Italian opened its first of many Atlanta locations in the ’70s. Nowadays, their Chamblee location is the sole servicer of what they tout as “the best cheesesteak south of Philly.” While we won’t co-sign that claim (since we’ve had better in the A), their gooey cheesesteak is still their most popular menu item and an enticing consideration if we need to escape I-285 Perimeter traffic for a bite. Aside from that, it’s a hodgepodge of tolerable, fast-casual takes on American-Italian dishes like lasagna, creamy fettuccine alfredo, and thin-crust pizzas. The casual dining room is divided into two sections: one for the fully stocked bar with TVs and the other for screen-free eating. But on nice days, we usually post up on the massive patio and finish our meal with a giant chocolate chip skillet cookie topped with vanilla ice cream." - Juli Horsford

Love eating here. It's been a while so it was really enjoyable to have one of their great tasting philly cheese steak sandwiches. Add some mushrooms to the sandwich and a side of creamy Italian dressing....yum!!

Decent place for Italian food. They have live music and it’s a fun place. Service and ambience is good. Their Diavola sauce is a bit tangy and pizza was not bad.

Visited with my husband when we first moved to Dunwoody. He ordered the Philly cheesesteak and I ordered a calzone. Being from Philly, I might’ve misunderstood the style of cheesesteak they were going for but it didn’t meet my expectations for the sandwich. My calzone was pretty good, I find I can make a better one myself using dough from Publix for cheaper. The restaurant environment is very family friendly and welcoming. They had music trivia going on that night which was fun to play along with.

Parking: Free parking Service: The waitress was very understandable and helpful. Food: I ordered Italian pizza. I asked for light cheese, and they brought me a pizza with a lot of cheese on it. The gentleman was very helpful. It was re-made with little cheese. It was excellent. Atmosphere: it has a laid-back vibe. I will go back when I am on that side of town.

Always thought this place sold upper tier Italian food by the clientele I would see entering and leaving the place. I was expecting AT LEAST something on par with Olive Garden (which isn't asking much). I entered and was genuinely shocked. Felt more like a fast casual chicken shop than a real sit-down restaurant. Whichever genius decided it would be a good idea to print the menu on a tie-dye placard needs to be tested. "Sorry if you don't like our food. We won't do anything about it." disclaimer on the menu. Weird menu, worse food. I've had better food at a baseball game. Do yourself a favor, go to the Taco Bell next door. Also, claiming you have the best Cheesesteaks south of Philly, egregious.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Mad Italian, and let me tell you, this place is anything but mad—unless we're talking about how madly delicious the food is! I’ll start with the staff. Though they may have looked like they were dreaming of their post-shift plans, they were still incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Let’s be real, who wouldn’t prefer a weekend off? But their service was still top-notch, and they kept us well taken care of. Now, let’s talk about the real star of the show—the food! I went for the chicken Parmesan, and wow, it was fantastic! My wife ordered the cheese ravioli, and after just one bite, I wished I had ravioli for myself. Seriously, it was that good! After years of driving by The Mad Italian on I-285 and wondering what I was missing, I’m kicking myself for not stopping sooner. This place is now a must-visit on my list, and I can’t wait to go back and work my way through the rest of the menu. If you haven’t been, do yourself a favor and make your next meal here. Five stars, no question!

This was our first time and the atmosphere was very chill. We Ordered a skillet pizza and lemon pepper wings. The skillet pizza didn’t come out as we requested and had to be remade and the wings were terrible. Not happy with the taste of any of it.

Wow….we have been to Mad Italian several times but tonight we had spaghetti. Can’t describe HOW or WHY it was so delicious but it was probably the BEST spaghetti I’ve had in a restaurant ever. Got spaghetti with meatballs and sausage. It was enough for two people but we are happy to have it for lunch one day. You like Mad Italian, I bet you’d love their spaghetti. If I had photos, they would be of empty bowls. 😄

Yelp
Nice quaint place that does not look much, but is pretty cosy. A buddy of mine and me were getting our cars washed and wanted to get a quick beer. This was close by and we decided to give it a try - glad we did. They have a well anointed bar, a nice patio and plenty of seating in general. Nice beer menu on draft and a good mix of alcohol. Plenty if parking in front and service is good and quick. It was afternoon time so we hung around for a while without being bothered - so that was nice too Overall a nice relaxed place - recommend for a casual night or evening experience.

Yelp
My mom had a craving for cheesesteaks, so we decided to visit Mad Italian. I used to frequent this spot when I lived in the area, but it's been a while since I've been back. I ordered the regular Philly cheesesteak, and they offer two versions: the regular and an upgraded one. I also grabbed an order of lemon pepper wings. The wings were decent--fried hard, just the way my mom likes them, and full of flavor. The Philly cheesesteak was decent, but I probably should have gone for the upgraded version. It did the job, but it lacked the extras I was hoping for. Not the restaurant's fault, but next time, I'll definitely try the upgraded cheesesteak to see if it's as good as I remember.

Yelp
I came in randomly because I was in the area. Indoor and outdoor seating. Full bar but a lot of beer on tap. Cheese steak and onion rings. So I don't work too far from here so I decide to stop in. It's a lot bigger than you would think on the inside and I do have spaces on the outside as far as the patio goes so there really is a lot of seating there. You can definitely take a larger party here and be comfortable. Soon as I walked in they stop me to my table, but as if it wants it at the bar so they at least gave me the option. They were for the friendly and they explain the menu to me and their favorites when I said out so I thought that was really cool as far as customer service goes. It's not a full bar like as in a club style setting, but they have enough liquor if you need alcohol. But they have a lot of beer taps they are so if you are a beer drinker, this may be more your bag. On my first trip there I got a cheese steak and onion rings. Just wanted to see if they could do the basic, and I wasn't unhappy at all. On The next trip there I ended up getting a chicken cheesesteak and some cheese bread. The regular cheese steak, which I got was 10 in, was very good and very flavorful. You didn't need to do a whole lot to it, because it came already good to go. The bread was warm and a meat was hot. The onion rings the first time I went were really really good. I dip them in their gold barbecue sauce and it was damn good. The next time and when I got the chicken cheesesteak in this one was good but the bread kind of took it down a little bit. The bread at the bottom was falling apart for the most part so you couldn't even have it as a hoagie type sandwich anymore. I ended up having to get a fork and eat it out of the tray because it wouldn't stay in the bread anymore. I don't know if it had been sitting longer than needed, but it had the feeling that the meat soaked through the bread. But I will say that chicken was damn good though. The chicken was flavored really well even though it wasn't in a sandwich, it really got me together. Because I don't work too far I would probably still go to the Matt Italian. Their prices are decent, and the food is something that'll definitely keep you full and you won't be hungry!

Yelp
I love their tuna sandwich. Fully loaded, over stuffed; needed a fork to eat it all. The service is extremely quick too. The ambiance is casual like a Chili's. If you need to wait for traffic to die down in the area, this is a great stop.

Yelp
The food was great, service was very timely & even though the restaurant is old it was very clean

Yelp
The food is always good never had a bad experience. The service is always prompt and professional by all the workers. The ambience is family friendly. I hate the traffic in this area so I rather sit and eat. I need to try other items on the menu.

Yelp
While in town recently, I placed a pick up order for some sandwiches and tenders. I ordered the sausage and pepper sandwich, it was delicious! I wish the bread was a little more sturdy to support the saucy peppers and sausage. My husband got the tenders and they were yummy! My sister and her husband. Split a large Italian sub which they both enjoyed. The sandwiches came with chips and pickle.
google avatar

Ashleigh W.

Yelp
Sooo came here because we tried there Philly cheesesteak at the Chamblee Food Festival a few weeks back and it was amazing! Glad to say it was still amazing at the restaurant. My wife enjoyed her wings, but the "hot" flavor they have isn't hot at all. To be honest a hot Cheeto is hotter than their hot flavor, but still good! The onion rings were phenomenal! The onions were big and the batter had tons of flavor. Super crispy and enough for the table. The jalapeño ranch that went with it however was trash. Doesn't need it nor does it compliment the onion ring. The F*** Covid beer from Scofflaw wasn't my cup of tea, but hey it's beer. You like some, you hate some lol Now the tater tots tasted like straight burnt fryer oil. So we didn't eat them. The fries were the star of the meal! Super peppery, crispy, PACKED with flavor. I could just go back for the fries alone Our customer service was awesome! She did a great job making sure we had everything we need! And the atmosphere was cool, maybe some better music but all in all good! Would I eat here again? Yes indeed. "To go order though"
google avatar

Zaqri C.

Yelp
Food was served very quickly and of mediocre quality. Standard Italian table service of grated parmesan was not offered and the dishes needed it badly. Tasted like out of a can from Cisco. Waited forever for table service after the meal was served. Ambiance was nice enough but the bathrooms were dirty. Wont be back.

Yelp
Llegamos al lugar para tener un lunch tranquilo y la pasamos súper bien . El ambiente es amigable, familiar y con buena música .! La comida es sabrosa , abundante y la sirven calentita ...

Yelp
I have been a regular for years, all because the food and service are always top quality. I love the food, especially the cheese steak and calzones, and the service is superb. Highly recommend

Yelp
This has been a solid, go-to place for us for years. They have one of the best cheesesteaks in ATL, along with fresh salads, pastas, and other delicious subs. The waitstaff is seasoned and super friendly, and you'll probably see someone you know either in the dining room or their spacious bar area. Great spot in Chamblee.
google avatar

Ray R.

Yelp
The food was good, the Philly wasn't all I was hoping based on the menu and reviews. There wasn't much meat on a hoagie bun and the amount of fries was about 10 lol The flavor was good, just a little cheap on the meat. If you are on a diet it might be good for you, but if you are hungry, we'll..... Service was good, would stop again while passing through. Appeared to be a good local pub to catch a beer if you are close.

Yelp
Been coming for years, food and service has always been good, almost great, enough to keep us coming back. Solid pizza, cheesesteaks, pastas. Yesterday was our time in the hopper....ordered fettuccine alfredo with sausage link grilled well, a lasagna, and two Cokes, which are $4 each/robbery. The young fella waiting on us really seemed like he wanted to be elsewhere. the fettuccine came out with bits of cut up sausage, which was about like jerky, i brought it to his attention, he said well I know the sausage is well done! Yes it is! I said i asked for a link, not cut up, he said well you got your sausage, what else do you want? Just dot get it, wrong order then wants to argue? Ahhh, these kids just do not get customer service. Will try again, and hope not to get that young man.

Yelp
Our Son, Daughter in law and gradnson had a function on Monday night. The owners delivered Cheese Steaks, pasta, Italian salad and garlic bread. Absolutely delicious, good portion size. We are going to go there again soon. Great personal service and food. Check them out if you get a chance. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Casual eatery with a variety of things. A friend of ours took us because we HAD to try their Philly Cheesesteaks. They did not disappoint. They told us they ship the bread from New York. The place had a great bar with TVs and plenty of parking outside. Service was fine, our waitress friendly. We will definitely come back.

Linny V.

Yelp
The food we ordered was satisfactory to our cravings. Slightly pricey for pasta however portions and quality make up for it. Good service, food came out quickly. Nice restaurant atmosphere. The window seats we sat in were pleasant. One warning however, one side of the parking has had issues with cars getting broken into (there was a sign indicating it was possible). Overall, nice place with good food.
google avatar

Chad W.

Yelp
The food was excellent. We had the pizza with cracker crust. Service was quick and our drinks were always full. Great job!! We enjoy trying new restaurants, to us and The Mad Italian didn't disappoint. We will be back.

Jason K.

Yelp
Now I know why they called Mad italian. I was mad eating spaghetti and meatballs for $24.00. They don't make their own spaghetti, meaballs were average, sauce was plain, and they had the audacity to charge extra for meatballs! And their excuse is inflation! Come on now!
google avatar

Almuddy S.

Yelp
Unfriendly to black people. Walked in stood for three minutes, staff just stared, customers just stared. Better not be alone at night.
google avatar

Bill G.

Yelp
Good service, nice at atmosphere in the bar area. Casual and pretty good food. Nothing fancy. Gets the job done sports bar.
google avatar

Dan D.

Yelp
Good, but most malls serve a better Cheesesteak. My partner and I split an order of Onion Rings, she got an Italian Sandwich, and I got the Cheesesteak. I made no alterations or changes, just got it as is. The Italian Sandwich looked good and she was super thrilled with it. In hindsight, I should have gotten that. My cheesesteak was very small. They use the proper roll as they claim, so I won't take that away. But it wasn't stuffed heavily at all. It had very little steak or substance to it. What was there was fine, but there just wasn't very much of it. The Chips are Ruffles which are fine, and I got Tots which were also good. Overall, I think I got a dud of a menu item, which is a bit depressing because they hype it so much. But maybe I should just get Italian food at an Italian restaurant?
google avatar

Yelp
We stumbled upon this Italian restaurant with great service & atmosphere. The portion sizes were surprisingly generous, much larger than what you would typically expect. We tried three different dishes and were impressed by the quality and quantity of the food.
google avatar

Christy G.

Yelp
The best cheesesteak around. Everything is delicious and they are very involved in local support for schools and teams. Catering was amazing - we have had pans of Italian deliciousness for many holidays and events

Yelp
I fell in love with Mad Italian when they were at Lenox Square Mall and served you a nice full hoagie with chips in a cardboard box. Then I frequented the Peachtree Rd location for years when I lived in Buckhead. However, the hoagies are not nearly what they used to be, apparently being a victim of ingredient shrinkflation and price inflation like most everything else. The old version had about as much meat in it as today's "Big Daddy". $14 is overpriced for what you get these days. Even the hoagie at the old Savoy location seemed to have more meat. Additionally, if you want provolone cheese on your sandwich, like God intended, you have to pay extra. You can get a Philly the same size as the "Big Daddy" at a local mall for $13 and it has provolone without charging extra! I'll still come by on occasion to satisfy my cravings, but not near as much as I did back in the glory days.
google avatar

ryan m.

Yelp
Very disappointed. I bought the Big Daddy, as it is loaded with extra meet, cheese and onions. I received a wet-mess that was over-loaded with black pepper. So much juice that I couldn't pick it up. The bun was soggy from the grease. Whomever made this sandwich needs to be retrained on how to make a Philly. On a lighter note, the pickle was crisp and the chips (from a bag) were plentiful. The server (I overheard that she has been there for 12 years) needs to move on. Nothing special. She was bored answering 2 questions about the menu. Zero personality from someone who probably complains about low tips-but I still gave her 20%. Restaurant was cool on the inside. The bar looked cool.

Yelp
I've been to this place a few times and may have ever done a review in past but let's talk about today. First yes it was busy we got in just in time and was there really for soup for lunch. That being said just cause you order soup the staff should learn doesn't mean your tip will reflect that, meaning if I order a 10 dollar soup I'm not gonna leave you only 2 bucks or 2.50. We were seated fairly quickly. But then had to wait about 8 to 10 minutes before somebody came to take a drink order. We placed a drink, order, a water, a soda and one item from the bar. It was shortly after that which we placed our lunch order it was two bowls of soup, and an order of their as they call it chips, and Italian dip. Took a rather long amount of time as I am sure the soup is just back there in vats in the warming area and the chips did not need to be cooked and I from the looks of it the dip came pre-packaged from the restaurant in small containers three of them come with an order of the chips. One order of pasta, E Fazul, soup, one order of cheddar and broccoli soup, and one order of chips with Italian dip was our lunch. The cheddar and broccoli soup was a lot thinner than at other establishments and overall was mediocre at best. The pasta Fazul soup appear to be lacking beans as there were some beans in it, but I feel the soup like that in the back everything settles to the bottom and they should figure out a better distribution plan because I would say the soup was 90% broth then with a little beans and a little pasta. The real losing factor was what they taught as a famous Italian dip and chips, which the best I can make of it is ruffles potato chips or some brand similar and mayonnaise with Italian seasoning in it, maybe this just is not for my pallet but it really seem to be lacking. There was very little effort to check on us and again I know it was two soups for lunch so we weren't a priority but it would've been nice to get a drink refill or something along those lines is there anything you could bring us etc. from the staff. All in all I have had really good interactions and meals at this place. However, this one just fell short of the mark will I return yes because they do have a really good cheesesteak. Will I return for soup and chips and Italian dip no all in all it's worth going there just know that it can be hit or miss from times.

Yelp
My last trip (2 weeks ago) will be my last. $14 for a 8" cheesesteak with not a lot meat is crazy and they charged me $4.00 for a 1/2 and 1/2 tea. Never again, I'll start going to Woodys. It's a shame, I've been going here ( the old location and the old Marietta location) since the 90's.

Tina E.

Yelp
Great food! Have been eating here for 20 + years. Good service. Cheesesteak is always spot on.

T W.

Yelp
It is always nice when a restaurant accommodates little nuances. It's been years since we visited and hubby decided to surprise me for a late lunch. I really wanted the cheese lasagna but wanted veggies incorporated. After learning that the lasagna was not pre made, I asked the server if veggies could be added. He responded that he didn't know because no one has ever asked for a veggie version of their lasagna. Fast forward the lasagna came out loaded with veggies, a delicious red sauce and melty cheese... clean delicious flavors. The hubby went unknowingly vegan as their pasta e fagioli was meatless unlike Olive Garden . He thoroughly enjoyed it still ( much better than OG) and the heavily flavored delicious garlic bread. They received 4 stars because the house salad needed a more chilled and crisp element and should be tossed because the lettuce was chopped and falling off the plate when trying to mix it. Our server was attentive and accommodating. He made us feel welcomed. Overall the food was good but the inflated restaurant prices are real. The bill was 58.00 for a slice of lasagna, a bowl of soup, salad and tea/soda. I was surprised at how less patrons were there from our previous visit. We were the only ones on our side with many servers waiting around for customers. I will return. Here's a tip: add calamari and Caesar salad to your menu. A plus, they serve their drinks in branded travel cups, sanitize each table after patrons leave and have a regular schedule for sanitizing the bathrooms. Still practicing COVID protocols. That's a plus in itself.

Ryan H.

Yelp
Good luck, place turned us and 3 other groups away with at least 10 open tables on a Saturday at 6. Won't even attempt again.
google avatar

Katherine B.

Yelp
Terrible service, ok food not worth the bad service. My friend and I arrived about 1230 on a beautiful afternoon and asked to be seated on the patio. The hostess hemmed and hawed, and said she'd "have find someone willing to wait on you" on the patio. There were at least four other parties on the (very nice) patio, which I brought to her attention. She literally rolled her eyes and agreed to do her actual job and find a server to wait on us on the patio. We were seated, waiter took our orders and the meal was brought out promptly and hot by a different server, and slammed down on the table. I asked for ketchup, she said "sure" , and stomped off, never to be seen again. When our waiter showed back up, I asked again for ketchup, he brought it immediately, and then we never saw him again until it was time for the check. Empty drinks, clear plates, etc. I can get bad service and mediocre cheese steaks closer to home. Not coming back.
google avatar

Kate F.

Yelp
The cheese steak sandwich is a solid choice the Motz bread such a good app. The chicken parm sandwich and the meatball sub are also excellent. The service at the bar is wonderful. Stephane and John are the best bartenders. It's a neighborhood restaurant. A little loud sometimes but the TVs over the bar have sports.
google avatar

Sean M.

Yelp
To boast that they have the best cheesesteak south of Philly is a big stretch. There much better options for a better price. Our server seemed scared to talk to us. The Mad Moz Bread was awesome! Perfectly seasoned and lots of Mozzarella. The rest of the family got pasta dishes that were ok.

Monica M.

Yelp
Been here several times. Always take company when in town. Great food for all. Highly recommend the mad mod bread.
google avatar

Shaquanda M.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place. I really did. We drove past it all the time and always said we would go and try it. We sat outside on the patio. It was all good until I ordered my cheesesteak and hair was on it. Once I see hair on my food I lose my appetite. I just can't eat anything after that anytime soon. So they offered to remake I didn't want it so my boyfriend said he would take it. So I ordered a beer and some how there's hair in my beer!!! Now at this point I'm irritated cause now I'm feeling like nothing here is clean and no one is wearing hair nets in the back. So she offers to bring another beer, whatever. So we get the receipt and nothing was comp'd. Not the cheesesteak nor the beer. Which was very saddening and poor customer service. For that reason, we would not be back.
google avatar

Lilly F.

Yelp
Is this actually Italian? Or just Mad? The pizza was heart breaking. I'd rather eat Chuck E Cheese. They put American cheese on a meatball sub. This is not me being facetious, it says it on the menu, go look. If you ask for provolone and mozz (as God intended) you will be charged $3. Two stars for good wings, decent cheesesteak, friendly service and a pleasant interior.
google avatar

Kathy K.

Yelp
This restaurant located in Chamblee outside Atlanta is famous for their Cheesesteak. They offer both indoor and outdoor patio seating. I had the Garden Fresh Salad $8.49 with garlic Shrimp $7.99. It was a good size and delicious. Everyone else in our group had the Cheesesteak. Our server was very friendly.
google avatar

Jonah F.

Yelp
Ok this is a long story, but friends and family were hungry so someone recommended this place. So we went let's start with the positives our waiter was nice and we got seated fast and the atmosphere was nice with paintings on the walls and artwork. We decided to go outside and the Mad Italian is right next to the highway so it was decently loud. We ordered Philly cheesesteaks and onion rings the onion rings were very tasty but the cheesesteaks were just average. Lastly, if you want a quick snack do not recommend it took well over an hour.

William M.

Yelp
Service was very slow even the onion rings took over 45 minutes. cups are nice . Location is not great outside right next to a highway. Also it's extremely cold inside. The bathroom is very clean though. The Taco Bell next door was putting some smelly stuff and it made outside unpleasant. Took so long i had to check in the food. Once the onion rings came they were great. The beer batter was so good there was a small hint of beer which was very good. Cheese stale was very overrated but still very good. Overall great food but not worth the wait.
google avatar

Kyle C.

Yelp
Cheesy bread app was best part is meal. Italian and Philly cheese steak sandwiches were subpar. Atmosphere is comfortable but chairs are not. The service was quick, friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Dont even bother with this place. Krystal Restaurants food is just as good and that is sad. Tom has ruined this place in deciding to rip off people instead of serving a quality product. Boooo BOOOO!!

Mikaela F.

Yelp
I am 1 of those people that if you tell me be there by 730 I'm there by 730.. we'll I'm here at 730 and it's 8:03 and I'm waiting. Now I know things happen but there's only 5 tables seated and they all have their food. The manager drinking at the bar eating a salad watching me wait. I'm very annoyed and if my car wasn't charged I'd leave. So now I'm a hostage .. free me

Yelp
I am MADLY in love with the mad Italian!! A friend and I had dinner here last Sunday. Neither one of us had ever been here before so we were excited! We were immediately seated indoors but there was a super nice outdoor patio area. The inside of the restaurant is very spacious plus there is bar seating as well. Now on to the food! For an app we ordered cheese-bread. This cheese bread was phenomenal paired with an excellent marinara sauce! Good grief!!! We almost hurt ourselves with the appetizer! For my entree I ordered pastalaya ( view pics). This dish was beyond my expectations meaning it was delicious! I do not typically order pasta when I dine out. I'm so happy I ordered this dish because it was amazing!! I also had a glass of house Cabernet. It was a nice pour and went nicely with my pasta dish. My friend had a cheesesteak and fries , which she enjoyed as well! Great service & food! This spot is worth your time & money! Lastly, the portions were huge!!!

Chris C.

Yelp
This place makes good, satisfying philly cheese steaks and meatball subs (although those come with American cheese standard so I ask for mozz and provolone instead.) I'd stick to those basics though, as the assorted apps/salads/etc I've tried haven't been great. It's a good restaurant for kids/families. If you go expecting a decent Italian restaurant, you'll be sad. The bar is good. Fine beer selection and decent drinks overall. Staff is young and inexperienced but nice.

Yelp
Absolutely fabulous. Great prices on the food, amazing food, great staff. I would totally come back again.

Yelp
The best cheesesteak in the area. How can you go wrong with tots and cheesesteak? They have been in the are for years and did an upgrade to the bar and seating area. I love this place even more now!

If you can get past the lackluster customer service on the to go phone line and how blaring loud it is in the background to place an order continue reading. I've been here twice. Both times ordered food to go. It's always packed. I highly recommend their cheesesteak. It's solid. No craziness, bells and whistles. Just straight forward cheese, steak (well seasoned) and onions I think. I wish they grilled the bread. It feels like store bought bread out the bag (no heat or grill with melted butter to it). This go round in addition to their cheesesteak, felt adventurous. I got their pineapple jerk chicken wings (the seasoning is everything but the chicken wings are fried naked then they sprinkle some dry rub seasoning on it. It's a no go for me. Maybe if I ask them to put extra seasoning but no. I had to dip it in Ranch then scrape the seasoning from the bottom of the container to enjoy it. Otherwise you are consuming a fried naked, bland chicken wing. No salt and pepper even. Also ordered the mozza bread. Not a fan. It's the same bread they use for the cheesesteaks. It's a LOT OF cheese and I'm not afraid of the type of mozzarella they used. The garlic spices and seasoning wasn't anything to write home about. I ate half the appetizer and threw the rest in the trash. Also ordered the chicken Parmesan sub for fettuccini Alfredo. Which was OK! They use the same mozzarella from the mozzarella bread which I didn't care for. The cheese reminds me of the same one you'd find on school cafeteria pizza. Is it bad? No. Just not my preference and I have definitely had better. Would I order it again? Nah. Will just stick to their philly cheesesteaks. Three stars because of all the things I ordered I only enjoyed their philly cheesesteak which doesn't even come with a filling side. Just a bag of Ruffles original chips.
