The Marksman Indoor Range

I've been shooting all over the U.S. at both in/outdoor ranges and really liked this one until I found put their rules only apply when, they want them too. Their ranges arent pistol or rifle/pistol, they're what ever they want them to be, at their leisure. I've been there a few times and have opted to shoot pistol in the rifle range because I didnt want to wait longer for pistol to open, so this time I planned ahead, got there early and went pistol, but 20 minutes into having a good time they let a rifle enter to shoot next to me when there was plenty of lanes open on rifle.. Their excuse was, well if you have both we just put them wherever. What a crock, stick to your rules, these guys could have shot their pistol in the rifle lanes, just like I had to do when I didnt want to wait. Poor service and rules follow suit!

The Marksman is a great facility. Always clean and welcoming. They offer great classes which were so helpful for me as a beginner trying to expand my knowledge to become a gun owner. The rental wall was extensive and really helped me to find the right handgun that met my needs. Jessica and Kirk are knowledgeable, patient and really focused on safety.

3 of us went shooting on a Sunday afternoon. Ben and Mallory were amazing. If you have never been to a gun range before, just plan on starting here. They will walk you through every step, answer any questions, a lady that was with us said, she appreciated that she never felt small or belittled, and they even helped us understand our patterns afterwards.

We went shooting as a group and 2 of our mags had to stay behind the counter due to incorrect bullets. Which was fine. When we left we forgot to grab the mags. We came back and bullets were missing. They claimed they had to “cut into the bullets to check them” which is insane because they used a magnet to check them already. Waste of money. Disrespectful staff. Edit: Since I cant reply to the comment the facility left, I’m editing this original post. 5 rounds were missing. Not 1.

Fantastic facility that is professionally and safely operated. Family friendly, event friendly and competition friendly. Always clean and comfortable and great place to gather before or afterwards for additional training or just relaxing. Memberships are very reasonable and worth it if you shoot more than once or twice a month. I take my security team there for quarterly training and our church also hosts shooting events there. Everyone was so kind, welcoming and helpful!! I definitely want to go more often!!!! This was the first firing range that I have been at that I felt comfortable and not judged 😀

Jess is amazing! We had a team outing at the range, she taught our team firearm safety, control and shooting. She is wonderful to work with!

Always friendly even when I forget one of the rules. Give a gentle reminder first time. I tried to case my rifle away from range not taking case to rifle. Clearly my error but politely reminded me.
