Türkiye: Fine Dining Restaurants Reflecting Bodrum: Malva and Tuti

"Tuti is a restaurant known for combining high-quality local ingredients with traditional culinary repertoire. Led by Chef Hakan Süve, the menu focuses on regional dishes and seasonal ingredients. Notable dishes include octopus from Gümüşlük, pistachios from Muğla, and innovative takes on traditional dishes like stuffed calamari and Çökertme kebabı. The restaurant also collaborates with local farmers and cooperatives to source ingredients. Tuti offers a magnificent sunset view and is open for dinner starting after 7 PM." - The MICHELIN Guide

The 1st thing we noticed on arrival was the how genuinely friendly the staff are. This was the same everywhere in the hotel from the restaurant staff to the cleaning lady. The restaurant has a fantastic view over Bodrum & the harbour. Breakfast offers a great choice of very tasty food & the evening meals really are cordon blue. The bedroom is very comfortable again most appear to offer a great view. This is our 2nd time staying here & would have no hesitation staying here the next time we visit Bodrum

Situated a very short taxi ride from Bodrum Marina/New Town & Old Town (350 TL/£3), the Marmara is ideal for those wanting a 5 star experience with 5 star views over Bodrum and surrounding sea and islands. The beauty of the Marmara is indulgence, tranquillity with a short hop to the Marina/bars/restaurant's which are in abundance.|The team at the Marmara could not be more helpful and friendly. Breakfast captivates al fresco dining on the veranda overlooking the city. Tuti 5 star restaurant a must during the stay.|The gym and spa has had a recent upgrade from our last visit with new equipment, pulley systems to help keep the beach body in good shape :)|Sinan always doing a great job at hand to help and support and a genuine and friendly voice - as a fitness trainer he puts in the hard work and always a great fitness advocate - keep up the great work.|The front desk team 24/7 - gated entrance allows for a safe and hospitable stay. 10/10 for the corner room, the attentive day staff servicing the rooms and turn down night service - if you are looking for a peaceful and indulging stay in a beautiful boutique 5 star, then Marmara Bodrum is a perfect choice.|Great value for money - cleanliness a premium, the staff work hard for their paying guests and no stone is unturned to ensure a memorable experience. Being in tranquil surrounds, no hustle or bustle from near Bodrum - noise level minimum.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The location is stunning, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. The facilities were immaculate and beautifully maintained, creating a truly relaxing environment.||The food was outstanding – fresh, delicious, and presented with care at every meal. ||What made our stay even more memorable was the exceptional service – and here I want to give special mention to Sadi, one of the waiters. He was incredibly attentive, always one step ahead, and made sure we had everything we needed without even having to ask. He noticed everything immediately, was always friendly and professional, and truly went above and beyond. His dedication and warm personality left a lasting impression on us – he is a real gem and a credit to the team!||This was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. Highly recommended!

A really lovely hotel, well situated above the city but only a few minutes taxi ride into the town. Great pool, nice rooms and above all super friendly staff. Special thanks go to the staff on reception, Ahmet, Efekan, Batin and Gothon not forgetting the superb cocktails around the pool made by Ali Riza. Restaurant is excellent and the water pressure in the shower blew our mind (literally).

This place totally flies under the radar! I had spent weeks researching where to stay and this never came up for me. Luckily my friend knew what’s up. This place is everything and more especially for the price point!! The views are incredible, location is central, staff goes above and beyond, and don’t get me started on the breakfast or poolside drinks - it’s unreal. Additionally, the hotel has a partnership with Flamm beach club - this was such a nice surprise. They have a free shuttle there every day (leaves at 11:30am and returns 5:30pm) and the day pass is complimentary for Maramara guests. You can walk for 15 min to the main port in Bodrum with all the shopping. ||Lastly, the hotel helped us book a private boat for the day. This was the absolute highlight of our trip! The concierge won’t steer you wrong; tell them your vacation dreams and they will make them happen for you!!

A Wonderfully Relaxing Stay at The Marmara Bodrum||We have just spent a lovely week at The Marmara Hotel in Bodrum, and it was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. The hotel has a quietly understated charm that makes it the perfect place to unwind.||Our room was spacious, very comfortable, and offered the most amazing views over Bodrum – truly breathtaking at any time of day. Breakfast was a real highlight, with a delicious Turkish spread and eggs made to order.||The hotel has two beautiful pools, both with equally stunning views across Bodrum. Service throughout my stay was excellent – the staff are warm, attentive, and always happy, which really added to the experience.||Overall, a wonderfully relaxing stay – I would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bodrum.

Great hotel! Awesome location for getting to all the best Bodrum spots. The staff could not be more helpful, lovely, considerate! They were really amazing. Felt like they were family by the time we left. Very good end to a great trip to stunning Turkish riviera. Also Delicious food!!

Yelp
Just got back from a Turkey trip and this hotel was amazing! Great food, clean rooms, smells amazing like a spa throughout the hotel (I'm someone who is sensitive to perfume smells and it doesn't even trigger headaches!!), polite staff, and the SPA. I have had the world's best massage there by Siman. I am very picky when it comes to massages and he is not only knowledgeable without you having to list out all your ailments, but also very kind and is strong enough to break down some serious knots! The only reason I'm deducting a star is because the AC/heating system doesn't seem to really work well. My room stayed relatively warm when I had it cranked down to the lowest setting, but it was tolerable enough to sleep at night. I just prefer slightly crisper.

Yelp
Okay so I've been here for a few days now and wanted to update my previous review. The food and drinks here are expensive but REALLY good. The breakfast (included in hotel cost) is amazing. You can ask them to bring you eggs however you like. They have an excellent selection of unique Turkish eats (jams, breads, cheeses, etc) and the coffee is good. We have eaten at this hotel a few times and I'd have to say that it's the best food I've had in Bodrum. The only reason I didn't give this hotel 5 stars is because the night life is non-existent and everything is very pricy. BUT... I would stay here again.

Yelp
One of the best hotels in Bodrum, with a great panorama of the town and the castle from a high ground. The rooms are well decorated, the spa is fantastic. If you get the garden suite rooms you'll have your own patio and garden with the views. Swimming pool is spacious. The restaurant has some good meals and service. Breakfast is good but unfortunately I can't say it's rich, very standard! They don't accept any children in the hotel so this is not for families, just for your info.

Yelp
3 star service at a 5 star price. Pros; - amazing view - good breakfast - good pool Cons: - Adult only means no children under 12. You will not be spared teenagers doing cannonballs. - The 'private beach' is actually a shuttle ride to a shared beach club facility. There is no beach there, just a wooden jetty and lawn with chairs. There are only 3 shuttles there and back during the day. - The pool chairs at the hotel are ridiculously uncomfortable. - The prices are a ripoff even by resort standards. 16 TL for a coke? - The hotel tells you not to drink the tap water. They instead offer 2 small bottles of free water (330 ml each) per room, per day. You can buy more water at 9 Tl for 750 mL. This is obscene. If you can't provide safe water to drink, charging requires a certain level of gall. - The staff service in the restaurant and pool side is atrocious. You will find staff lolly gagging and doing nothing. You will go and fetch your own drinks and then later try to find someone to close out your tab. You will get your own coffee and drinks at breakfast. Fine for a 3 star, but after paying over 300 euros per night, you expect more. And the sad thing is this was even in midweek with fewer guests. - We made the mistake of sending 3 shirts to be washed. One came back with no sign of being washed. The other was ruined with bleach. The hotel tried to fix this by sending someone to buy a shirt that was in no way comparable in quality or fit. We appreciated the effort, but emblematic of our experience - not quite there. - The front desk was somewhat better, but still odd. I asked for boarding passes to be printed, it took 3 emails to them and then I finally did it on my own in the business center. I asked to break a 20 TL note into smaller bills and coins for tips and was refused since 20 TL is a "small note" - Finally, your ocean view room view may not have a view unless you stick your head out the window and turn your head. We complained and were upgraded to a room that actually allowed us to look directly at the water out our window. I appreciate that the hotel is trying its best. That said, this in no way approaches 5 star service that we've seen elsewhere. I'm not sure more training or more staffing is needed.
