A gem in the heart of Bodrum. Highly suggest booking the seaview rooms, it will definitely be worth it. Very quiet and romantic, stylish rooms. A big thank you to dear Ilgın Hanım for the booking, to Egemen bey at front desk for his warm welcome and farewell who made us feel like we're home. Amazing housekeeping with the cleanest room ever, and heartfelt, intuitive service by the servers in the restaurant. I must add the eggs were cooked to absolute perfection at breakfast as well. Beautiful Adults-Only Escape with One Important Caveat My partner Steve and I stayed at The Marmara Bodrum as an adults-only retreat so many times, overlooking Bodrum Bay and Halikarnassos, and in many ways it truly excels. The elevated location offers breathtaking views, the design is elegant and understated, and the overall atmosphere is calm, refined, and very grown-up. The rooms are spacious, quiet inside, and extremely comfortable, and the service throughout the hotel is professional, warm, and discreet. The pool and common areas are peaceful and well curated, making it a wonderful place to unwind away from the bustle of Bodrum. However, for a hotel positioned as adults-only and tranquil, smoking on balconies and loud behavior late in the evening significantly detract from the experience. Smoke travels easily between rooms, and noise carries far more than expected in what should be a serene environment. This hotel would reach an exceptional standard if smoking were fully prohibited (including balconies) and balcony noise more actively managed. Overall, a beautiful property with great potential — ideal for couples seeking calm, provided these issues are addressed.

The 1st thing we noticed on arrival was the how genuinely friendly the staff are. This was the same everywhere in the hotel from the restaurant staff to the cleaning lady. The restaurant has a fantastic view over Bodrum & the harbour. Breakfast offers a great choice of very tasty food & the evening meals really are cordon blue. The bedroom is very comfortable again most appear to offer a great view. This is our 2nd time staying here & would have no hesitation staying here the next time we visit Bodrum

Loved our stay at The Marmara Bodrum! Starting from the view which is just wow! The room was spacious and comfortable and the hotel was really nice. I also really enjoyed the breakfast and the pool area. The best thing about it is the staff and how friendly and accommodating they are. Our stay at this hotel was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The location is stunning, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. The facilities were immaculate and beautifully maintained, creating a truly relaxing environment.||The food was outstanding – fresh, delicious, and presented with care at every meal. ||What made our stay even more memorable was the exceptional service – and here I want to give special mention to Sadi, one of the waiters. He was incredibly attentive, always one step ahead, and made sure we had everything we needed without even having to ask. He noticed everything immediately, was always friendly and professional, and truly went above and beyond. His dedication and warm personality left a lasting impression on us – he is a real gem and a credit to the team!||This was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. Highly recommended!

If you’re thinking about booking this hotel, just do it. Honestly, stop faffing around, you’ve found the best hotel in Bodrum City. I promise you.||This absolutely stunning 5-star hotel sits on a hill with the most breathtaking view you’ll ever see. It’s the kind of view that stays with you long after you’ve left.||The design is beautiful and authentically Turkish, with artistic touches everywhere. You can tell that every detail has been thought through, and the whole place is clearly cared for with real pride.||Breakfast deserves its own paragraph. It’s superb, and here’s the insider tip: you can order omelettes, eggs (scrambled, poached, Benedict, Turkish-style, you name it) at no extra charge. And whatever you do, don’t forget the Turkish tea or coffee.||The staff are genuinely lovely and it’s obvious they’re proud to work there. We had a wonderful massage in the spa on day two, which set the holiday off perfectly. A big shout-out to the spa manager Sim and Malia (apologies if we’ve remembered the names wrong) – you were both amazing.||The spa and gym are brilliant. There’s a fantastic sauna, steam room and a proper Turkish hammam. The facilities have been recently renovated so it all feels fresh and modern. Just to note, the jacuzzi is no longer there, but you won’t miss it.||Our bedroom was beautifully designed. We stayed in room 1210 with a sea view – stunning. But to be honest, every room here is a win, even the most basic.||Now for the pool situation. Forget about 5am sunbed wars – there are plenty to go around, and the whole atmosphere is calm and relaxed. There’s even a second pool if you fancy swimming proper lengths.||You MUST eat in the hotel restaurant at least once during your stay. The food is outstanding, and with that view, it’s something special. If you can, time it with the live music on Friday or Saturday night.||The walk to town is all downhill, about 15 minutes, and actually quite nice. Coming back up… well, let’s just say it’s character building. Unless, of course, you’re sensible and grab a taxi. They’re everywhere, cost about 240 TRY (£5), and save you puffing your way up after dinner.||While in Bodrum, definitely take a day trip by boat for swimming and snorkelling. They’re all much of a muchness, so just book via Viator to avoid haggling on the street – and don’t pay more than £25 each. Totally worth it. Foodies, you’re in luck: Bodrum has three Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurants. Visit them all, they’re outstanding. And don’t miss Bodrum Castle – go late in the evening when it’s cooler and quieter.||Of course, no hotel is perfect, and the only “compromise” here is that hill. But let’s be honest, a fiver in a taxi is hardly a hardship.||I really hope this helps. This place totally flies under the radar! I had spent weeks researching where to stay and this never came up for me. Luckily my friend knew what’s up. This place is everything and more especially for the price point!! The views are incredible, location is central, staff goes above and beyond, and don’t get me started on the breakfast or poolside drinks - it’s unreal. Additionally, the hotel has a partnership with Flamm beach club - this was such a nice surprise. They have a free shuttle there every day (leaves at 11:30am and returns 5:30pm) and the day pass is complimentary for Maramara guests. You can walk for 15 min to the main port in Bodrum with all the shopping. ||Lastly, the hotel helped us book a private boat for the day. This was the absolute highlight of our trip! The concierge won’t steer you wrong; tell them your vacation dreams and they will make them happen for you!!

5 nites stay with friend in late September. Adult only, No kids. This is what I was looking for. Service is top notched. Best authentic turkish breakfast with a view. Beautiful interior design, spacious and clean room, professional reception with a smile, a note of mythology next to the pillow. We had a small issue in our room and immediately offered to another guestroom. Thank you. A quiet location on the top of a hill, free car parking, is centrally located to old town (7 mins by car), near main road to where their beach club Flamm Bodrum is. Free shuttle to the most beautiful beach area of Bodrum but we took our rental car with free parking. So we got the best of the both in Bodrum. Their gym and spa are excellent as I had a turkish bath there. Pool is big enough for laps swimming. Highly recommended. Definitely return to stay. Since I had a very early checkout in morning, the reception was very cooperative and had my bills in details ready as I requested the night before. Waiters at breakfast room are very polite and efficient.

Just got back from a Turkey trip and this hotel was amazing! Great food, clean rooms, smells amazing like a spa throughout the hotel (I'm someone who is sensitive to perfume smells and it doesn't even trigger headaches!!), polite staff, and the SPA. I have had the world's best massage there by Siman. I am very picky when it comes to massages and he is not only knowledgeable without you having to list out all your ailments, but also very kind and is strong enough to break down some serious knots! The only reason I'm deducting a star is because the AC/heating system doesn't seem to really work well. My room stayed relatively warm when I had it cranked down to the lowest setting, but it was tolerable enough to sleep at night. I just prefer slightly crisper.

Okay so I've been here for a few days now and wanted to update my previous review. The food and drinks here are expensive but REALLY good. The breakfast (included in hotel cost) is amazing. You can ask them to bring you eggs however you like. They have an excellent selection of unique Turkish eats (jams, breads, cheeses, etc) and the coffee is good. We have eaten at this hotel a few times and I'd have to say that it's the best food I've had in Bodrum. The only reason I didn't give this hotel 5 stars is because the night life is non-existent and everything is very pricy. BUT... I would stay here again.

One of the best hotels in Bodrum, with a great panorama of the town and the castle from a high ground. The rooms are well decorated, the spa is fantastic. If you get the garden suite rooms you'll have your own patio and garden with the views. Swimming pool is spacious. The restaurant has some good meals and service. Breakfast is good but unfortunately I can't say it's rich, very standard! They don't accept any children in the hotel so this is not for families, just for your info.

3 star service at a 5 star price. Pros; - amazing view - good breakfast - good pool Cons: - Adult only means no children under 12. You will not be spared teenagers doing cannonballs. - The 'private beach' is actually a shuttle ride to a shared beach club facility. There is no beach there, just a wooden jetty and lawn with chairs. There are only 3 shuttles there and back during the day. - The pool chairs at the hotel are ridiculously uncomfortable. - The prices are a ripoff even by resort standards. 16 TL for a coke? - The hotel tells you not to drink the tap water. They instead offer 2 small bottles of free water (330 ml each) per room, per day. You can buy more water at 9 Tl for 750 mL. This is obscene. If you can't provide safe water to drink, charging requires a certain level of gall. - The staff service in the restaurant and pool side is atrocious. You will find staff lolly gagging and doing nothing. You will go and fetch your own drinks and then later try to find someone to close out your tab. You will get your own coffee and drinks at breakfast. Fine for a 3 star, but after paying over 300 euros per night, you expect more. And the sad thing is this was even in midweek with fewer guests. - We made the mistake of sending 3 shirts to be washed. One came back with no sign of being washed. The other was ruined with bleach. The hotel tried to fix this by sending someone to buy a shirt that was in no way comparable in quality or fit. We appreciated the effort, but emblematic of our experience - not quite there. - The front desk was somewhat better, but still odd. I asked for boarding passes to be printed, it took 3 emails to them and then I finally did it on my own in the business center. I asked to break a 20 TL note into smaller bills and coins for tips and was refused since 20 TL is a "small note" - Finally, your ocean view room view may not have a view unless you stick your head out the window and turn your head. We complained and were upgraded to a room that actually allowed us to look directly at the water out our window. I appreciate that the hotel is trying its best. That said, this in no way approaches 5 star service that we've seen elsewhere. I'm not sure more training or more staffing is needed.
