Pizzeria selling charred-crust, wood-oven pies & beer, wine & cider in industrial-style surrounds.
"For those who appreciate good pizza, terrific beer, and consuming both at the same time, The Masonry is your place. You can get a charred margherita pie and amazing meatballs at their counter service spot, while still leaving plenty of time to snap hundreds of selfies at the base of the Needle. Grab a pint or two from the impressive tap list if you need to brace yourself for heights." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley, gabe guarente
"The city kinda sleeps on this place, possibly because it’s hard to grok from the street that there’s pizza in there. Maybe folks think it’s still a Quiznos? Follow your nose inside to find pretty much the scientific opposite of that: a wood-fired pizza oven, a menu of creative pies and small plates made with thoughtful, high-qual ingredients, and a list of eclectic craft beers from its sister biz, Fast Fashion Brewing, which has a tasting room right next door. Although it’s easy to focus on the showy Neapolitan pizzas here, it’s important that you don’t skip the tender, slightly spicy meatballs, served as a quartet in a bowl of pretty spectacular marinara. Unless you’re vegan, which, if so, you’re in luck — the Masonry has a killer vegan pie, dressed simply but powerfully with fresh basil, hot oil, and garlic." - Meg van Huygen
"If you like good pizza, good beer, and consuming both at the same time, The Masonry is your place. You can get a charred margherita pie and amazing meatballs at their counter service spot, while still leaving plenty of time to get through Climate Pledge’s security line. Grab a pint or two from the impressive tap list and save yourself the trouble of buying tallboys between periods later." - gabe guarente, aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley
"If you like good pizza, good beer, and consuming both at the same time, The Masonry is your place. Pop in with a friend to share the city's best meatballs before a few pints and pies—you're in good hands with the margherita or the mushroom pizza with pancetta." - aimee rizzo
"If you like good pizza, good beer, and consuming both at the same time, The Masonry is your place. There are two locations, and we do have to give the edge to Fremont’s because there’s more space and a slightly longer menu, but you can still order their signature charred margherita and amazing meatballs at the Queen Anne spot. Pop in with a friend, and after waiting for space at one of the few tables, grab a pint from the massive tap list and the mushroom pie with pancetta." - Aimee Rizzo
