How Food Critic Keith Lee Can Change a Restaurant's Fortunes | Bon Appétit

"A food truck-turned-restaurant offering burgers, sandwiches, and tacos that spent its first months bringing in very low daily revenue; a viral review did not generate sustained new business because the influencer’s ordering and presentation (asking for everything on the side and only adding sauces later) led many viewers to a misleading first impression that the food was bad, leaving the owner disappointed even though the truck had built a local following by word of mouth." - BySam Stone

Friendly staff and food that taste great! Great atmosphere and decorations. There were enough options to satisfy the whole group. But don’t come here if you are calorie counting or eating healthy. Pretty much carb loading cheat day :)

I drive by this place every day and didn't even know it was there. It's facing a major street but the signage was a little hard to see. I'm glad we found it though because it's a new favorite!! When you walk in the door, you're greeted with aliens and sci-fi stuff everywhere. From the cow abductions (my favorite logo) to the quirky names of all the dishes, the vibe here is out of this world. The staff was friendly and fast, the food was delicious, and the options were very eclectic. Ranging from burgers to Korean bbq. I had the Mother Clucker, a huge chicken tender with mozzarella and ranch. It was juicy and packed with flavor. SO had the double smash burger and was a perfect medium, according to him. The Rocket fries are crispy shoestring, and the chips are made in-house. I wasn't the biggest fan of the cheese curds, and the cheese had a weird texture, but I like that they were perfect squares and were served in a claw foot tub. Overall, it was a great experience and will absolutely be going back!! Tip: Don't forget to spin the Wheel of Pain after leaving a tip. I got a free hug, and I love free hugs.

First time here, not what I was expecting from the name, but they do have some good meat! Order at the counter and then the food is brought to you. We started with an order of brussels sprouts that were roasted and seasoned well, and came in a small toilet shaped bowl with a sweet honey glaze and an order of cheese curds that came in a bathtub. We enjoyed both! I was a little taken aback by the Queso Birria Taco, all the ones I ever had, the taco shells were fried in some kind of sauce and most come with extra sauce for dipping. These were not that, and did not tast like any of the birria tacos I've ever had. So the initial let down was replaced with a "wow, it doesn't remind me of a birria taco", but a really good shredded queso something taco! My other taco was a "Hot Korean Taco", with a nice sweet slaw, and a nice flavored meat, I didn't get any heat, so that was a slight let down, with that said I'd get it again. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive, and the restaurant was clean. And I thought the food was very good. I'd give it 4.5 stars because "Hot" wasn't hot with spice, and the Queso Birria really didn't remind me of any close to what Ive had.

Google
We found this restaurant after spending the afternoon hiking in Red Rock Canyon. It was a quick drive from the Canyon and really hit the spot after a strenuous hike. The owner and staff were so friendly. The atmosphere is great and very relaxed. The food was amazing. Everything we had was delicious. We also loved the Horchata and different lemonades. Overall, a huge hit.

We saw this establishment on Google and were very excited to try it. We drove about 20 minutes to get here. Already knew what we wanted to order and had our mouths ready to "chow down". The excitement quickly went to major disappointment when we pulled up and it was dark inside and closed. We tried to call the number on the door and it was "no longer in service". OMG! For reference we attempted to visit on a Friday around 3:00 pm. Save yourself time, gas, disappointment 😮‍💨 and frustration. Steer clear off this one. YW! ✌🏼

This was our very last meal on American soil after 2 weeks and heading back to Australia. Not much more to say than EXCEPTIONAL. The food was outstanding, the service was very welcoming and flexible, and the resteraunt itself, very clean and tidy, while also a little nostalgic. The cheese steak was my one and only while being here in America, and it awesome. The flat bread was the beat addition imo. My partner tried several different tacos and all were enjoyed. The Brussels sprouts is an absolute must as is the spicy meat candy. Highly recommend giving this place a try. Thankful I live so far away, cause damn I'd be here every night. Lol

The BEST!!! Great service, Hot delicious food, The fries are made perfect. The chicken sandwich, the flatbread sandwiches are very great choices as well. The Meat Wagon is a one of a kind restaurant in the neighborhood. You can buy books and there are lots of different cool saying around the building with an out of this world theme. Highly recommend for anyone with taste buds!!! Locals and tourists, dine in or takeout.

Google
The owners wife is not nice & treated us very poorly every time that she was there. She is just one of those unhappy people who has to be a mean person! It sucks because they have good food, & and it's a cute place. Good quality, locally sourced meats. We have eaten here now a few times & it has been good every time. My wife just refuses to be treated like that, so we won't be returning.

Yelp
EVERYTHING IS AWESOME IN AN OUT OF THJS WORLD EXPERIMENT (I mean experience). Food is to roll over and play dead for! Atmospheric blending of aromas, tastes, and sounds sent me straight to the moon and back...or was that Uranus?!

Yelp
COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! We hired this company to cater our event for 80 people today. Chris confirmed being here with our address and set up time......they were a NO SHOW!!!! Had to run and place a rush order to feed our staff. THANK YOU NEW YORK PIZZA & PASTA FOR SAVING THE DAY!

Yelp
Shocked to see they are closed. I hope that they are opening a new location. Very good food came out of here.

Yelp
We were so excited to try this spot after all the hype and it wasn't too bad! We got the fish & chips, bacon mushroom burger, and a side of onion rings (iykyk ) because you can't sub the fries in the combo for onion rings. They have a special sauce for their fries and onion rings, but no lemon or tartar sauce for their fish & chips, so husband was bummed about that. My smashburger was a little more pink than I prefer, so I didn't finish it. The onion rings were tasty on their own, and the fries were alright. I definitely want to go back when they're offering the katsu burger because that looks fantastic! We'll keep stalking their Instagram for that update!

Yelp
My sister and I wanted to try somewhere new and saw this place near by. It is very rare to try new places and it be amazing with everything you order. This place was great! The restaurant is big and has lots of tables and it spacious. I liked the theme they had with the art on the wall and the book racks. The server we had was Ivanna and she was really sweet and helpful. I am indecisive so she picked my meal for me lol The food was all amazing and I highly recommend coming here to give it a try. There are so many things I still want to come back and try. Fried Pickles : 5/5 Free Bird sandwich : 5/5 - Loved the honey they put on there and this chicken was juicy ! Mushroom & Carne taco: 5/5 - My sister loved these, liked the tortilla and said everything had a lot of flavor.

Yelp
We absolutely like The Meat Wagon. It was our first time here and we were delighted to see every single art pieces, decor, books for sale, arcade games and artwork in this restaurant. Even the wall art in the ladies bathroom was cute. We met Sunny she's an absolute joy. Spacious and clean lots of seating. The beverage station was awesome, we liked the hand crafted specialty drinks. A good selection of one of a kind items from the menu. My Love ordered the Loaded Carne Asada Fries and I ordered the Mushroom Steak and Swiss served on a Flat Bread. The food was awesome and very tasty! I love that they use Toasted Flat Bread for the sandwiches rather than the usual regular sandwich/burger bread. The Loaded Carne Asada Fries was a Wow! It was loaded for sure with lots of flavor and a good taste. One of those things where you gotta try it for yourself. The Rocket Fries were crispy and good too. I liked the Ruby Wave-Cherry Lemonade drink and My Love liked the Arnold Palmer. We recommend this place if you want to try something different and new. Thanks Team keep up the good work. My Love got a rubber chicken key chain from Sunny on the way out, that was cool, thank you Sunny. :)

Yelp
I think the place is closed now? So sad. The place was delicious. Food was fresh but on the heavier side. You order at the counter and then sit down. The environment was very unique.. the place had its own culture.

Yelp
Great food, good ambience, and great for large groups that wants to have a good time. We came here on a team event to spend time with the families and teammates. It was nice to have a casual dining experience with good food with good value. I enjoyed their unique serving or plating. I would love to come back and try the other dishes on the menu.

Yelp
Such great food here! I had the opportunity to meet the owners Pollyanna and Chris Yelp's Very Vegas Discovery Children's Museum event we had in November. They were some of the nicest vendors at the event and after sampling their food, I bookmarked the business for the future. Upon entering the place we were greeted warmly by the staff. We had a little one with us and they promptly provided a high chair at a great table. The interior has books for sale, a few games to play and the floorpan is an open concept. Service was absolutely the best! Nothing but smiles and staff that seem to really care about the food they are serving. My friend and fellow Yelper Stephany V. joined me for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The menu is so diverse offering so many choices. It is impossible to try everything they offer so I will definitely be returning here so I can try more dishes. Dining with Stephany V. is always a good time as she can and will try anything. Her palate is so diverse. She tried the Green Chile Chicken and Hot Korean tacos while I went with the Free Bird Sandwich served with Rocket Fries. This was a huge sandwich that I could not finish but really wanted to. The chicken was so moist and juicy. The fry sauce was a delight too. After seeing the banana pudding listed for dessert, we had to have it. It was really creamy, luscious and rich. I definitely would order again. What a hidden gem this restaurant is and I am looking forward to returning again.

Yelp
We couldn't decide what to eat . As a family of 6 it's almost Impossible to agree on what to eat. We had thrown around the usual wing stop, and Olive Garden but we knew we wanted something yummier but still quick enough to allow us to be serviced quickly. You can order your food to eat in or take out. We decided to eat in as the diner looked inviting. We ordered the meat candy as a starter to share as a table. We then individually ordered the conspiracy theory of the day which was a delicious pastrami sandwich. Birra queso taco, the habanero carne asada taco, and the bacon truffle smash burger, and finally the little bird which are chicken fingers and fries. The food was out of this world! Like nothing we have had before. Each bite had a unique bite of flavor. This place is a must try!!! I can't wait to come to back and try different items.

Yelp
Every dish was cool to order, full of flavors and put a smile on your face. Free bird, brussel sprouts, pickle spears, carne asada fries, lil bird and some real tasty mango drink along with friendly service makes this a great place. Don't expect fast food, expect great food that takes some time to make - and worth the wait. And then encouraged to relax after a meal. Thank you thank you and see you again soon.

Yelp
One of the local Facebook foodie groups is constantly posting about how great this spot is, and I finally got a chance to go by this past weekend with friend and fellow Yelper, Renee N - and it totally lives up to the hype, and then some! Signage is a bit difficult to see from the street but you enter to an ordering counter, racks of books, holiday and alien-themed décor and several friendly faces. Service here throughout my visit was stellar - several employees checked in on us, offered ordering suggestions, brought over a high chair for my daughter, and were just super, super friendly and positive. They alone deserve five stars. The menu has a lot to offer, including appetizers, "gordita" tacos (served on a wrap similar to a pita) and sandwiches, plus desserts and several drinks. The flavors span the globe, with Korean, Mexican, barbecue, and seafood options, which actually made it difficult for me to order. Ultimately, I got the Green Chile Chicken & Hot Korean tacos, which came with house made potato chips, and the Dilly Wacker (fried pickle) appetizer while Renee got their chicken sandwich and we shared their banana pudding. Portions were fair, with the sandwich and dessert both being huge. Flavors were good, and their sauces especially hit home for me - my daughter especially liked their fry sauce. The tacos weren't huge but the protein was well portioned and the wraps held up well, and I barely put a dent in the chips. For bonus points, they are very child-friendly, with a diaper station in the bathroom that we definitely needed, and they were very understanding with my little one. Overall, this place didn't initially seem like "my kind of place" (the menu and space have a lot going on), but they totally won me over with their service and food. I will have to come back for their wings and seafood items!

Yelp
At our Yelp event last week at the Discovery Children's Museum, The Meat Wagon was one of the vendors. I learned that they have chicken and waffles but that's only one item on the menu. As I have gone by for several years, I noticed chicken and waffles one the sign and I knew that place wasn't for me. (Where I grew up, chicken and waffles never involved fried chicken). After meeting the owners at our event, I decided I had to try the place. I went for a late lunch/early dinner yesterday and had a great meal. I ordered the mushroom, steak, and Swiss flatbread sandwich. The menu describes it as: Grilled beef tenderloin, portabello mushrooms and Swiss cheese. It comes with their rocket fries. I also got a medium hibiscus peach iced tea unsweetened. I sat down and in a very short time, I was brought my sandwich. I was warned that the sandwich was very hot (temperature wise), and he was correct. The flatbread was very hot and I didn't singe my fingers. I had some fries as I let the sandwich cool off a bit. The flatbread was filled with steak and mushrooms with just enough cheese. This was my first flatbread sandwich, and it was excellent! It was a very nice way of getting out of cooking, too. The interior is a lot of fun! A south wall with a space theme and some other artwork that's fun to view. It added to the enjoyment of eating here. I paid the check where you order and chatted with the owner for a bit. Very friendly and welcoming person. I will be back. There's a lot on that menu and I still can avoid their chicken and waffles. I highly recommend the Meat Wagon.

Yelp
When you see a place with a near perfect 5 star review it definitely raises an eyebrow that needs to be investigated. Is it that good?!? To put it simply... YES! Walked into TMW & were instantly greeted & seated by the owner. The place has an alien abduction vibe & the menu follows the theme. The owner told us what they had ran out of for the day & then answered all of our questions about the dishes. I opted for the "Spicy Meat Candy" as an appetizer & presentation was perfectly awkward being served in a toilet. It was just the right amount of spicy & the corn was a nice touch lol For the main course I went with the Fat Boy Flatbread Chopped Philly Steak & damn that thing was fantastic! We all took a look at each other, silently nodded in approval & said to each other "Yup, that's where all the 5 star reviews came from." Shoutout to the owner for the warm welcome & for being a good sport posing for a quick photo. Let my pictures tell the story why you grab your car keys & pick what you're going to order.

Yelp
Recommended by the Genesis dealer as we were starving after buying a new car. Cute and clean decor. Super delicious burgers. Good selection of drinks. Wish this place was closer to me.

Yelp
Friendly and inviting customer service. Large dining area with awesome alien theme decorations throughout. An extensive menu with lots of options to choose from. I went with the truffle burger and fries, a brisket taco with a side of chips and an order of cheesecake pudding. everything was perfectly made and tasted great. They offer free restaurant themed stickers. And I love the fact that they sell books as well. I'll be sure to pick one up the next time I stop by.

Yelp
Staff was super friendly and answered questions about menu. Decor is quirky and dining room was consistently being cleaned while we were there. Food was excellent, very flavorful and filling. Sauces and toppings worked well together and super crispy fries. Decently priced and a large menu with an array of options id like to come back and try more

Yelp
The last time I was here, which would have been in June of 2024, I only got the "polly bomb", which wasn't that great. I was somewhat close by after running some errands so I decided to stop here for an actual lunch. My experience was slightly better this time around. First, let's start off with how great the staff is. Similar to last time, everyone was really nice and helpful. This establishment recommends that you check out their social media for updates on some specials. Unfortunately, their IG hasn't been updated since 2024. They rely on their IG to show the week's Polly Bomb and "Conspiracy Theory Of The Day". And, their online menu does not match their in-store menu. Some items missing, some the same. Someone slacking on this? This led me to ordering something from the online menu, that wasn't offered in-store. BUT, they said they could still make it, which was the "Spicy Cow Pie" taco. I also ordered the "War Pig" taco. The gordita they use for their shells for these tacos was really good. I could probably eat those plain. The Cow Pie taco was really good. A lot of flavors. The War Pig was just ok, for me. Didn't really taste any Dr. Pepper on the beef. When I was almost finished, I had to look for the other ingredients. I didn't see or taste any cheese curds. And I had to look for the pineapple. There was some pineapple. Not sure why it took me to eat 90% of the taco to realize there were other ingredients. So, yeah, not a real big fan of this one. These tacos came with home made potato chips, not chips and salsa like their online menu states. These could have been excellent, if they were all cooked thoroughly. They were still good, though, especially when dipped in the Fatboy sauce. Since I did dine on-site, I got a fountain, to which I got to sample a few of their homemade lemonades. I got to try too. The cherry and the blood orange. I liked the blood orange one better. It is nice to see other beverage options than soda, without an upcharge. And, to go, I gave their "Polly Bomb" another try. This time it was red velvet. Another example of great customer service, I was just going to grab one out of the fridge on my way, which I was told to do. But, they had one bagged and ready to go for me. This was totally unexpected, but still a great thought. The packaging was different than last time, which was for the better. And I think this flavor was a little better than the last. The real flavors of the tiramisu were there. Again, the biggest "confusion" is why their online menus and social media have not been updated, if they emphasize their online presence.
google avatar

Ivy S.

Yelp
Today was my first visit to The Meat Wagon, but won't be my last, as there was so much on the menu I'd like to try. I ordered two flat bread tacos and then found out from the sweet girl at the front, that since it was Tuesday, it was buy two tacos, get one free, so I added another one that was included in the "free" options. The tacos were great, as everything takes so fresh. I, also, enjoyed their house made chips and flavored lemonade. The place is cute with weathered looking brick wall paper. I would have loved to hear some country music or even some Classic rock, but that's just my personal preference for a "meat" place.

Yelp
I'm not one to go crazy for meeting movie stars but when it comes to the legends who craft our feasts I'm all over it. If you're looking for a killer burger and the best variation of cheese curds I've had outside the Midwest you have to hit the @themeatwagonlv.     Looking at all the amazing options I had decision paralysis at the counter. When the chef Chris Decker came out, I had to ask, are you from Chicago?    Yep‼    I told him I saw the cheese curds and had to ask. Over the course of all my travels where there's cheese curds there's a dude from the Midwest who loves cheese and has gallons of ranch in the fridge. When you know you know. Truth be told I think ranch is a universal sauce that can go on anything from breakfast to dinner.     Everything about this spot was fire. The burger was one of the best I've had in town. The cheese curds were wild. I've never had such a flavorful variation. The menu had a ton of options too, and Chris is an all around great guy. If I wasn't on my GLP-1 I would have ordered more. I'll be back!

Yelp
Visited on a midweek night and showed up a little after 6. There were a few people inside and we noticed it closed at 7. We took a seat to review the menu and then made our way up to the order counter. We opted for the cheese curds, which came in a bathtub, and the crispy brussels sprouts which came in a toilet. So bonus points for presentation right away! For our meals, we got the chicken and waffles, the lil bird, and a chop brisket sandwich. I will say that the chicken meat itself was very good however, the breading didn't quite stick to the chicken as much as I would've liked. It felt that the breading piece was maybe just a little bit underdone. The waffle also could have been a little bit crispy. The sandwich was very good and the fries were also delicious. The standout was definitely brussels sprouts so if you like those at all, this is a must get if you're visiting. Service was great, the space had plenty of seating and was bright with a nice decor. We didn't feel rushed at all, even though it was getting towards the end of the night. I wouldn't say this is a Vegas "must try" for visitors but if you're in the area, this is worth a try.
google avatar

Joe Y.

Yelp
The Brussels sprouts are so good! Same with cheese curds. I would recommend ordering a bunch of the appetizers and splitting them amongst your group. I also had a flat bread sandwich which was tasty, but the appetizers stole the show!

Yelp
This is a decent neighborhood meaty sandwich and such place. I tried the flat bread with blue cheese, steak amd bacon - tasty but could use a bit more blue cheese. Also tried the Angry Bird fried chicken taco - a bit more spice would be nice, but again, not bad (very American, not Mexican). Fries were tasty and crispy, house made potato chips were okay, onion rings and friend pickles were decent. They had plenty of hot sauce and such to liven things up. Decor is random, sort of geeky flying saucer-ish theme - either this is your jam, or it's sort of irrelevant. Folks are nice. Just a bit pricier than fast food, but correspondingly better. Not health food at all - a splurge. 5 stars is excessive, but it is enjoyable for what it is.

Yelp
This is a GEM! We were across town delivering Girl Scout cookies and a friend suggested we check it out for dinner. BEST decision! We pulled up and said, "it looks kinda weird inside". Walked in and was immediately greeted by some of the coolest people I've met in a while. The place is SO FUN! Alien decor, nostalgic toys and memorabilia, and 80s music. How cool is that!? But that's not why you go. That's just a bonus. You go for the FOOD! We ordered Drunken Curds (served in a mini bath tub), Mushroom Swiss Fat Boy Flatbread, Chopped Philly Flatbread , and a Mother Clucker. It was AMAZING! It's a MUST GO! You won't be disappointed!

Yelp
5 Stars - Come for the food, stay for the smile (and maybe fall in love?) There are places you eat at, and then there are places that remember you. The Meat Wagon? It's the kind of spot that doesn't just serve food--it serves moments. And for me, one of those moments had a name: Ivanna. I came in with a friend. No expectations, just two people chasing flavor. We'd heard whispers about the place--alien themes, glitter drinks, bold flavors--and decided to check it out. What we didn't expect? That the food would be killer. That the drinks would sparkle. And that she would be the one taking our order. Let's talk food (before I get distracted again). My friend had the Bacon Truffle Smashburger--this juicy, stacked creation with garlic truffle mushrooms and thick-cut bacon that practically dripped swagger. Cooked perfectly medium rare. He took a bite, paused, and whispered, "Bro..." That's how you know. We shared the Dilly Whackers--deep-fried dill pickle spears that were crispy, golden, and criminally underrated. And me? I went all in on the Chopped Brisket & Bacon Flatbread--a smoky, melty beast with pickles, cheese, and some kind of sauce that had me questioning my loyalty to other sandwiches. Rocket fries on the side? Not just a side--they're an experience. Crisped to perfection. Didn't even need sauce. They just hit. But let's be honest--Ivanna made everything better. You ever meet someone and instantly feel like they've got main character energy? That was her. Genuine, kind, funny--and that smile? Dangerous. The kind that stays with you way after the check's paid. She didn't just take our order--she raised the whole vibe. I don't know if she's single, and I'm not here to assume. But hey--she's got my number. And if fate's feeling generous? I'm just saying, the next time I walk in, it might not be for the brisket. The Meat Wagon is intimate, unforgettable, and full of personality. A little bit of Area 51, a little bit of culinary wizardry, and a whole lot of heart. If you're in Vegas and skip this place, you're cheating yourself.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the brisket taco! The fries are addicting.. the chips were also good. I loved the selection of drinks. Too much sauce/Ranch on the mother clucker and I didn't care for the flavor of the coleslaw either. Prices were good too. The staff were friendly and helpful. Easy to find and plenty of parking.

Yelp
This place deserves more than 5 stars. The food was excellent. My whole group loved everything we ordered. The Fat Boy flatbread sandwiches are juicy, flavorful, and filling. I would've liked a bit more heat on the habanero carne asada taco, but it was still really good. Fries were top notch, and the cheese curds might be some of the best I've ever had. Staff is super friendly, and the prices are totally reasonable. A perfect lunch spot all around.

Yelp
I keep hearing about this place so we decided to try it out. It did not dissapoint. All the food was amazing. The phili cheesecake was great, along with the burger, and the wings. Apparently they also have this toilet bowl for a soup. Definitely coming back. Excellent service and a great little sitdown. Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
i've been following their instagram for a few years, but have lived elsewhere for awhile now. this holiday when i came back home i made it a note to visit here and it did not disappoint! the food was great, i had their speciality of the day, which is called conspiracy theory of the day. it was a spicy garlic chicken BLT flatbread, the chicken was fantastic. super juicy crunchy and flavorful. the flatbread overall was fantastic, and the rocket fries were also solid. an good crunchy fry all in all. the pina colada tiramisu was great, kinda reminiscent of carrot cake to me for some reason but i enjoyed it. they also had tons of unique drink options and a large extensive menu that looked great. service was fantastic! super friendly, i split my meal and they happily did it for us. attentive and servers made sure we were doing well throughout, even though busy. we came at lunch rush so it was pretty busy but we got immediately sat and served super quickly. the ambiance in here is exactly what you'd expect from the name and logo. this sort of grunge old school place, with some games and silly decor. everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. i will definitely be returning

Yelp
This spot, tucked away in an older complex right off the main road, is surprisingly easy to find with plenty of parking. It wasn't packed when we arrived, but it filled up quickly - a good sign for a casual lunch. The vibe is classic fast-casual: order at the counter, grab a seat, and they'll bring your food to you. We went for a chicken sandwich with fries, wings and house-made chips, and a side of onion rings served in a mini toilet! While they offered one dipping sauce for everything, it did the job. The true star of the show were those crispy, perfectly cooked fries. The onion rings were tasty too, but couldn't quite match the fries' awesomeness. The wings, which tasted like garlic-parmesan, were a good size and hit the spot. Here's a fun detail that stood out to me they have regular fountain drinks and flavored lemonades/teas that have a shimmer! They used food-safe coloring and a bit of magic (probably pearl powder) to create a cool metallic effect. It's totally unnecessary, but hey, who doesn't love a little extra sparkle in their drink? Overall, this is a solid fast-casual joint with a fun twist. I'd definitely go back next time I'm craving a casual bite, but maybe explore some of the less-fried options on the menu. Definitely recommend for a laid-back meal with friends or family and look forward to trying out the rest of their money.

Yelp
5 stars! You haven't truly lived until you've had The Meat Wagon! The food is next-level delicious -- every bite! The service? Just as amazing -- friendly, fast, and full of good vibes. And whatever you do, don't skip the truffle brussels sprouts... pure fire. A must-try experience!

Yelp
We love The Meat Wagon! We've come a few times now and everything on the menu is fantastic. You really can't go wrong with anything and there's something for everyone. They have burgers to tacos to sandwiches. The duck taco was delicious and was a standout. Their brussel sprouts are a standout too! Also, I love their specialty drinks. The prickly pear is amazing and I drink so much of it that my stomach hurts...lol! You have to try this place and keep going back to try all of their menu items! The staff is also really friendly and knowledgeable on the menu!

Yelp
I really enjoy a good, humble local place, but it goes without saying the food has to be great as well - and The Meat Wagon, despite it's perhaps indulgent sounding name, provides a surprising amount of subtle flavor in their flatbreads and sandwiches that I didn't expect. First of all, the service is absolutely as friendly as it gets. You are greeted by staff at the front and order food before sitting down wherever you like. Staff are very excited to give their recommendations, and also describe how they source their food and emphasize the quality of what they serve at the restaurant. I will say the restaurant interior is not exactly my style - but what should I expect at a place called "The Meat Wagon"? It fits perfectly to what they're aiming for. Besides the great "flatbreads" as I like to refer to them as, they offer "tacos" which I still felt were basically smaller flatbreads. I'm sure there is a difference, but I couldn't really identify it. They also have some berry (pun intended) cool if not overly sweet lemonades that I really enjoyed. This place is on our list of regular spots considering good value and flavor!

Yelp
Based upon good Yelp reviews my daughter and I tried the flatbread sandwiches. VERY hot at first. Great combinations available. Good lemonade. Good French fries. Great service by owner. I mentioned to him that i appreciate the size and quality of the napkins. Small but important feature. Would recommend this place to family and friends.

Yelp
The Meat Wagon is a great unique fun type of casual but very good "stick to your ribs" type of sandwich shop and "MORE" kind of place. This place is located on the west side of town....around a 15 minute ride from Springs Preserve. The sandwiches and tacos are different and unique and are served on house made pita breads. They also do wings, burger, fried chicken and waffles and treats like potato skins with BBQ Korean beef, corn and cheese. We ordered at the counter and I was told to spin the wheel. What the Cluck I WON A RUBBER DUCK! We started out by sharing the crispy Brussels sprouts that were served in a TOILET..........I thought the toilet was weird but funny...The Brussels sprouts were really tasty. I tried a green chile chicken taco, an ale battered wild cod taco, and a mushroom taco. They actually really were among the best tacos I tasted in LV so far. The chicken taco isn't for the faint of heart...and IS VERY SPICY but also very flavorful and very delicious....It could win at a taco festival. The fish taco is well packed too and also is a very good choice. The mushroom is the most unique with the spicy raspberry sauce that goes surprisingly well with the mushrooms. These tacos are also a BIG FAT VALUE at only being priced at $6@. And they come with chips. My husband tried the conspiracy of the day - BBQ sirloin, caramelized onions, bacon, cheese on house made pita with fries. He said it was great! I wish I lived closer so I could go more often. It's a fun environment with great service and really good "stick to your ribs" foods.

Yelp
When you have that craving for ALL the savory this is the place to go to. Paired with craft sodas on tap and PIPING hot fries, if I didn't have self control I'd probably eat here daily until I developed a heart condition. Service is on point and fast. The restaurant is clean and the dining area is constantly being bussed.

Yelp
Trying to not to post to keep this place a secret place for local foodies to enjoy. Another food truck turned restaurant - The Meat Wagon. Serving outstanding food by taking classic diner favorites and putting a global flavor twist. Some of the best chicken and waffles in town. The flatbread sandwiches are amazing. Service is phenomenal and helpful if can't decide what to choose. Make sure to make desserts. Highly recommend.

Yelp
The food here is amazing!!! The Meat Wagon has been on my to go list now for several weeks! My husband and I finally had a chance to stop by The Meat Wagon for lunch on a Thursday afternoon, around 12:00 P.M. The Meat Wagon is located near Buffalo and Sahara! There are plenty of parking spots! As soon as we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted by all of the team members! There was another party ahead of us, so that gave us time to look over their menu. The Meat Wagon is known for their chicken sandwiches. However, there are a lot of other options like burgers, brisket, Philly steak, fish and chips, and tacos! We ended up ordering the following Abduction: $15.00 - Shaved Roasted Garlic Sirloin, Grilled Cheese on a Flatbread with Rocket Fries. Conspiracy Theory of the Day: $15.00 Mushroom, Garlic Fried Chicken Fat Boy: Fried Chicken, Garlic Parm Mushrooms, Brie Cheese, and Lettuce served with rocket fries. Sparkling Water After we placed our order, we had a chance to spin the wheel! My husband ended up scoring a free drink, but I got a yo momma joke! It was a lot of fun! Inside the restaurant, you'll notice a lot of table and booth seating. As we waited, we looked at some of their books, played some Space Invaders, and looked at their Tin Foil hat area! There are so many cool features that this restaurant has inside! After we sat down in a booth, the food came out shortly afterward, about 10 minutes from placing the order! Service was super quick! The food was hot!!! I ended up eating the Abduction. It was scrumptious and one of the best meals I've had in a while! The roasted garlic sirloin was so flavorful! The steak was perfectly shaved, and there was so much of it inside the flatbread! There was also a lot of ooey gooey cheese within the flatbread, too! It was my favorite dish! My husband enjoyed the Conspiracy Theory. All of the ingredients were cooked perfectly! Next time we stop by the Meat Wagon, we're both trying out the chicken sandwiches!!! The team members here are amazing and helpful! If you haven't stopped by Meat Wagon yet, you need to!!!

Yelp
I've driven by this place many times and thought it was just a catering place based on the big signs. But there's a smaller sign in the middle that says "The Meat Wagon" and we realized this was a place where you can stop and eat. I ordered the cauliflower appetizer and a fish taco. Both were good. But I did like the Brussel sprouts better. My friends said their chicken sandwiches and fried pickles were good. Service was friendly. You order at the counter and they come bring your food out to your table. They were nice. Great place for a casual lunch with yummy food. Next time I come back I want to try a cheeseburger.

Yelp
Stopped by on a weekday after the dinner rush. We were greeted when we walked in. We walked up to the counter and placed our order. Friendly service and funny too. We spun the wheel, and Tupac won an "insult." I won a drink. Food: Burratta Hummus Brussel Sprouts served in a toilet bowl. Truffle Bacon Burgee The Brussels were delicious. Some were big in size, but at least it was edible and good. The Hummus was also a hit. The burger was ok. The truffle is not as strong. Overall, I'd return again. I want to try different dishes.

Yelp
FOOD SERVICE ENVIRONMENT My wife and I checked out this fun, funky food joint and we had a blast. We were seated quickly and when we got to the counter to order we could tell the owner was taking the orders. He was fun, and funny and took pride in the process, service, and food. The space is very cool, with unique murals on the walls and the food was lip-smackin good. The fried chicken may have been the best I've ever had. Vegas is full of food establishments and many are truly fantastic, yet you can go to the Meat Wagon, enjoy a casual atmosphere, and outstanding food, and not break the bank. We look forward to returning to work our way through the menu.

Yelp
As we walked in we were amazed at the decor and they also have arcade games like Centipede and Space Invaders games that we grew up on. We went to the counter and was given menus to look at and we sat down went over the food offerings and placed our orders, Upon getting our food we spoke to a kind gentleman and talked bout a soda that they serve on their fountain machine which is The Stubborn Brand, Their Pineapple Cream Soda is amazing, and he also told us that they sell bottled soda a Jackson hole soda company, so I went and bought 2 watermelon, Orange Cream and Root beer. Let me tell you those sodas are amazing and in glass bottles. We will be back to try more of their food offerings real soon. Great Service, Great Burgers (Cooked to the perfect Temperature). Spot on. Give them a try at the meat wagon, Real Food so delicious.

Yelp
With a 4.9 on Yelp my expectations were high. I ordered the Free Bird Sandwich as the person who took my order said that was their first sandwich that built the food truck business. When brought to my table, it certainly looked great. Then I took a bite... unfortunately, it felt very greasy and leaked oily substance (see pic) all over (the picture only captures a small amount of what was on the plate.) I would suggest you steer clear of this sandwich! The fries were seasoned fries and Not what is on their website video. I guess that works if you'd like seasoned fries. Best part of the meal was the Mexican Coke followed by the fries. Nice spacious restaurant where you order from the counter. Service was friendly. Atmosphere 5/5 Service 5/5 Food (specifically the Free Bird Sandwich) 2/5

Yelp
I've been passing by this place for awhile on Sahara, but ordered their chopped brisket in pita which came with their rocket fries. I also tried their onion rings...all to go. Next time I will stop by to dine-in. The decor was comfortable and inviting. Good for family dining. Service was great. Small staff, but very friendly and they remembered me when I came back for their addictive rocket fries. Try them out and support local.

Yelp
Our first time and this place deserves FIVE stars all around!!! Food was super delicious! We got the mushroom, steak, and cheese flatbread; fat boy flatbread; and brisket taco the flatbreads came with garlic fries and taco came with what I believe are homemade chips! Don't skip on their lemonade ... today they had fruit punch lemonade and my hubby swears he could have drank a whole gallon of it!!! Service was phenomenal! Poly Anna (sorry if I miss spelled her name) was super friendly and took time to explain the items on the menu. She brought our food to our table and checked in after a few minutes to make sure that everything was good! My husband had some questions about what inspired the menu and I love how she was willing to entertain questions. Cool Ambience Very clean! It's not a huge space but I love how the tables weren't crammed together. Don't forget to tip so you can try your luck on the wheel I actually heard a couple of great jokes during our visit! We will definitely be back! Can't wait to try the duck taco!

Yelp
The thres leches tiramisu is to die for. Their lemonade is also good! The workers are very nice. The brisket taco was ok but the fries were great.
