Very tasty, good food. Truly worthy of your money with big portions and quick service. Nice atmosphere and nice people working there. A lot of vegetarian options as well! And still as tasty, with a lot of vegetables and different spices. Also great sauces on the table free to use to add even more flavour. Would definitely recommend to a friend!!

It was as good as Mexican food is gonna get for being in Europe. That being said g said it was good. Some stuff had a little curry flare to it which was the unauthentic taste of it. But it was still good and the price was good. I will be back next time!

The food was really bad, completely tasteless and not fresh at all. The place was cold inside and uncomfortable to sit in. They don’t even turn on proper lights just to save energy, which makes the whole atmosphere dark and unwelcoming. On top of that, there was a very bad smell in the restaurant that made it impossible to enjoy the meal. I definitely do NOT recommend this place. Total disappointment.

Found this place near the city center. Had big hopes for it, but unfortunately, it fell a bit short from our expectations. Some of the items were really tasty, but others were bland and forgettable. I would eat here again, but knowing what to expect, it should be a better experience.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this place in Amsterdam! The service was top-notch, and the food, oh my, it was fantastic. Yes, it might have a bit of a touristy vibe, but honestly, that didn't take away from the overall experience. What impressed us even more was the price – incredibly reasonable, especially considering the generous portions you get. We opted for the enchiladas, and they were simply divine! So, if you're in Amsterdam and in the mood for delicious food, great service, and a place that's kind of touristy but still manages to deliver, this is the spot to check out. We left with happy hearts and satisfied taste buds!

It was my first time experience to try Mexican food, the shop was small, but lovely, but to be correct the food wasn't something i liked at all, maybe because we're used to another kind of food, although we had ordered two different things but the taste was almost the same in both orders mine and my friend's!! very very spicy with a special kind of spice that i couldn't know what was but something like curry but a bit different and more spicy to hot 🔥 anyway was not bad and the personal was very nice, kind and cheerful so i give 3 stars

This is an amazing Tex-Mex restaurant near the center of Amsterdam! My Spanish wife and I went here and we were given the best service I've ever had in a restaurant! We had the burrito and taco lunch combos with nachos to share, and they were fantastic! Steven, the team lead took time to make sure our meal was great and conversed with us as it was a slow day. We told Steven about how we are on our honeymoon, and he surprised us with a shot of tequila and lime each after our respective margaritas, completely on the house. He's an amazing person and an even better host, if you are looking for a place with great service and food, look no further than The Mexican. I don't usually make reviews, but Steven and the amazing food made for a great experience. Thank you once again Steven!
