The Best Restaurants On Coral Way

"Blink and you might miss this tiny Levantine market and deli while chugging along Coral Way. If you do, let your GPS recalculate and circle back to what’s about to become your new favorite lunch spot. Middle East Best Foods makes one of the tastiest shawarma wraps in Miami. It comes on their own homemade pita with a shower of zaatar that feels more like an August thunderstorm (i.e. very generous). Also make sure to grab a spinach pie, which has soft, fluffy dough encasing a lemony spinach and onion filling. This is a tiny store, and every millimeter of space is packed with food or something to cook food with, so it’s mostly a takeout operation. But there are two tiny tables near the front where you can eat and read all the old newspaper clippings from the owner’s past life as an acclaimed chef in the Middle East." - carlos c olaechea, ryan pfeffer

9 Great Middle Eastern Markets In Miami

"Middle East Best Food might sound like Google keywords, but they will also lead you to this tiny market on Coral Way. The Palestinian shop is run by a single man who makes a chicken shawarma wrap covered in a seasoning called “parsley chicken shawarma” that’s available for purchase and should be spread on all your future chickens. There are only two tables, so it's better for takeout and some grocery shopping while you wait for your food. Browse through Palestinian canned pickles, dry herbs, or that shiny hookah you secretly always wanted. But if you come on a day when it’s empty, you should sit, have lunch, and listen to the owner’s life story for an hour. While you’re there, order all five flavors of his housemade baklava lady fingers (our favorite is cashew nut)." - mariana trabanino, ryan pfeffer

The Middle is Best Food Truly Special The chef is a sweet man from Palestine, there every day from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., putting so much love into his food. The hummus is amazing, the tabbouleh is so fresh, and the dates are out of this world. You can taste the care in every bite. Support this place, you won’t regret it. Support small businesses 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸

Google
I stumbled upon this gem of a store after getting some bloodwork done, and I’m so glad I did! I was warmly greeted by Ali, an incredible gentleman with a fascinating story to share. He took the time to show me around and introduce me to the different cuisines he offers…each one more delicious than the last. The service was top-notch, the food was absolutely amazing, and the prices were more than fair. A truly unexpected and delightful find! Highly recommend!

Google
I went for the first time yesterday because I love middle eastern food and dragged my parents along. They LOVED it. Ali was the absolute sweetest man. The vibes in the shop were immaculate. There were already customers there with their kids and they were sitting down, trying good food and chit chatting with Ali and his wife. It felt like it was a family reunion. We plan on going back since we live only 6 minutes away! Truly a one of a kind place. The Za’atar bread, hummus, and almond baklava were my favs! Food truly does taste different when it’s made with love and care!

Google
If you love hummus and taboulleh, here’s the spot. If you’re a date lover, the best dates are sold here. I love trying new foods and when we went to Middle East bakery today we left with our hands full of fresh baked breads and other great items. Ali the owner is a chef and makes a lot of the stuff in house! Safe to say for this girlie I’ll never buy hummus anywhere else but here! Thanks Ali!!

Google
I had such a great experience at this Middle Eastern restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — full of flavor and made with so much care. But what really stood out was the man who helped us. He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers. I’ll definitely be coming back — not just for the food, but for the amazing hospitality too!

Google
THE BEST IN MIAMI! Ali is a master chef and makes the most authentic, delicious homemade breads, deserts and other staples. I found this store and will be a frequent shopper here. Ali was such a kind host, we loved everything we bought.

Google
Ali Aziz is the best thing that happened to this neighborhood. His store has everything you’re looking for and the customer service is amazing. Ali made sure I was welcomed and answered any questions I had. The sandwiches he makes are HUGE and affordable. All of the bakery food is fresh and delicious. I felt like I was back home in Lebanon, my home country. I cannot wait to come back here again to shop all my Arab grocery needs and ofcourse to also say hi to my friend Ali.

Google
WOW! You can find everything here and Ali is amazing

Yelp
Middle East best foods is a a gem for authentic Arab Palestinian cuisine. Chef Ali crafts every dish with care, bringing rich flavors to life. The hummus, falafel, and everything we tried is perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.A must-visit! There is also the biggest variety of desserts and yummy treats. I love the fresh dates and all the groceries we purchased from the grape leaves to the Zaatar.

Wonderful ambience, culture, and selection. A friendly mom and pop spot! I highly recommend

Yelp
Love the products I have brought home from here. I have tried all of their baklavas I believe... and they are the best I have found in Miami. Every time we pass by we buy about $40 worth of baklava. That is how amazingly crunchy, sweet, flaky, nutty, buttery and just great they are. PS: $40 worth of baklava (here) is quite a lot, not like at other places. As usual, we'll be back soon.

Yelp
Not sure how I've missed this place til now but the lovely owner (who is a very accomplished chef & has been for decades) made some suggestions & I ended up with an AMAZING freshly baked spinach pie (fluffy pita filled with a super flavourful filling) and some of the BEST babaghanouj i've ever had! Will definitely be back for what I assume to be some of the most authentic baklava & other middle eastern goodies very soon!
google avatar

bridget e.

Yelp
The best baba ghanoush ever. Better than Sahadis in Brooklyn. Better than your mama makes. The best baba ghanoush ever.

Ismary G.

Yelp
Love this place. Chef Aziz is an amazing chef with so much experience and gives true integrity to the food he prepares. I go to this store as much as I can especially for his amazing variety of baklava. My favorite is his dates baklava but they are all amazing. If you want authentic delicious middle eastern delicacies .. go to this authentic market and bakery.

Yelp
Ali has been cooking for a lifetime and his passion comes through! His career includes being an award winning chef in exclusive hotels. Ask him about it if you have a few minutes to spare. Now at an age where most people have long been retired, he's still waking up early and cooking delicious things! Amazing baklava, pita breads, babaganoush, hummus etc! 5 stars.
google avatar

Yelp
Bought the BEST dates I've ever tasted from here today. Great shop / market with a variety of things to buy as well as food to eat! Definitely check it out if you're in the area.

Yelp
Frankly a bit disappointing and it's a shame because I thought that this place would be a hidden gem for baklava. I walked into the store and there was no one there...I stood around for about 5 minutes asking if anyone was around. Finally someone stepped out and said "yes?" I asked for a tray of various baklava and he didn't look particularly happy about it. He then pushed me to pick things immediately and when I had questions about what was in each of the baklava he just pushed me to pick. At some point I asked for more time and he just left and went to the back of the store...I walked out and then he came running out looking for me and told me to come back. It felt awkward so I just came back in and once again he was yelling at me as soon as I stepped back in as if my presence to buy something in the store was an inconvenience to him. I chose the baklava quickly and took it home. Maybe I caught this guy on a bad day but it was not a pleasant experience. Not to mention that while there's a certain charm to these types of tiny store, this particular one definitely looked a bit chaotic and it's hard to imagine how they keep inventory and decide what is fresh with the way things are currently setup. As far as taste goes, not the greatest baklava. Soggy, no crunch and not as tasty as other baklavas I've had. Overall, disappointing.

Yelp
Baklava! Best in town, no doubts.. After trying several baklavas around town in turkish, mediterranean, greek, israeli, lebanese, etc.. places i have to say this is for sure the best or one of the best that you will find in Miami. Definetely is worth making a quick stop to grab any variety of baklava and any mediterranean grocery item that you might missing at home. The owner as well is extremely nice and friendly, dont be afraid to ask a question if you have it or you are looking for sonething specific.

Jim M.

Yelp
Food was ok. The falafel was cold - seems like they fry them first thing in the morning and leave them out all day. Service was horrible. Slow and don't listen to your preferences. I had to ask for extra sauce 3 times..
google avatar

Yelp
This is the best Middle Eastern shop in Miami. The owner is such a sweet man with a very interesting story. Apparently he was a baker in his home country and still bakes every week. All the desserts he sells are made by him and are amazing. You can taste the rose water in them which makes them taste so unique. Honestly the best baklava I have had in Miami. His shop also carries canned hummus and baba ganoush, which is great for sides. His olives are great and he carries huge dates. Defined recommend this place!

Yelp
Grabbed a take-out lunch from The Middle East Best Food on a Tuesday afternoon. Went in with the intention to just get Shawarma Sandwich, but ended up also grabbing Falafel Balls, Pita Chips, Hummus, and Pistachio Baklava. Quality My plan coming in was just to grab a Shawarma Sandwich and it was without question the best item I had. The lamb meat was delicious and flavorful and the pita wrap was perfect. My only complaint was they had offered to add hot sauce, which I happily accepted, but none was put in my order and it definitely could have been better with some kick. While waiting for my food I began to look around and slowly my order grew. At the counter I saw the Falafel Balls and decided to order four and they were some of the best falafel I have ever had. I then grabbed the Pita Chips and Hummus. I didn't particular take to the Pita Chips, which were covered in paprika and olive oil, but the Hummus I ordered as dip was delightful. Then there was the Pistachio Baklava, which is a must try. They have several different choices for baklava and I went with the Pistachio one, which was sweet, fresh, and the perfect ending to my meal. Quantity Now I would have absolutely been satisfied just ordering the Shawarma Sandwich as it was very large and extremely filling. But I ended up wandering the store and picked up a bunch of additional items. This left me with enough food for another meal. Value All the prices in the store are very reasonable and the food is very authentic. Just make sure not to look around too much or you may find yourself leaving with an entire grocery bag of food. Ambiance The Middle East Best Food is located right on Coral Way near the intersection at 17th. It is part of a long strip mall and the store is pretty easy to miss. It is not a very space and it is absolutely packed with all sorts of middle eastern items. At the very front of the store they have a small table and a few chairs, but the store is set up as a take-out place. You order at the back of the store where they have a small menu with pictures posted on the wall. After you give your order you are left with some time to peruse the other items in the store. The store has a large selection of various items and can definitely be counted on if you need some sort of special exotic spice or sauce. They had a single television on in the back corner, but it was not on when I was in the store and music played quietly in the background. Crowd When I walked in there were three people sitting at the front table, but they all appeared to work there. It is a take-out place so I wouldn't expect people camped out, but I was surprised it didn't draw more people during lunch. Service The guy who took my order was very friendly and happy to discuss the different items in the store. The food come out fast and was extremely fresh. The only problem was the missing hot sauce, but it is hard to complain to much at a small establishment. Parking There is a shared parking lot behind the strip mall that is terrible. After initially attempting to park in it, I took the first opportunity to get out because it really was just a car trap. It was poorly designed and I watched as numerous cars chose the wrong direction and ended up having to back their way out of a maze. Unless it is empty street parking in front of the store or one block west is definitely a smarter option. Extra The Middle East Best Food is a delicious and affordable option for a take-out lunch. I enjoyed practically everything I ordered and the store appears to contain countless other treats. It is definitely a hidden gem on Coral Way.
google avatar

Rory F.

Yelp
The Lamb Shawarma I ordered was delicious. They have a large selection of goods available for purchase that are great too, my favorite is the homemade pita. Highly recommend stopping by here.
google avatar

Brooke P.

Yelp
The owner/chef/notary public of this grocery store/deli is a wonderful chef from Egypt. The food is top notch and he has all sorts of interesting items from the Middle East if you're looking for authentic products or something difficult to find. I particularly love the hummus, but he makes baklava, feta, sells fresh olives. etc. A great gem in our little neck of the woods.

Yelp
I highly do not recommend this market to buying anything look for date and make sure if you buying spinach pie theirs no dead fly nasty taste and please look around their every single things is turned bad!! Take attention please To be honest its horrible experience I had

Yelp
I came upon this little hole in the wall middle eastern market while I was walking down the street on my lunch break. I never noticed it before. I walked in and the owner was there and greeted me. I asked him about what he sold and he was very friendly and enthusiastic to show me his store. Turns out he was a chef and has traveled all over the world! He also knows 9 languages! He told me some stories of his travels and showed me pictures of him cooking in France! Then he let me try his home made hummus! It was amazing!!! I left with his home hummus and babaghanouj! Along with some Turkish apple tea and stuffed grape leaves and pita bread! I didn't plan on buying anything but it was too delicious not to bring home to. What a great experience shopping here! I can't wait to return!!!

Yelp
I'm extremely impressed with the service and the atmosphere in this place. I enjoy the best customer service ever in Miami . Really impressed. This place is and examples of love and hard work . I will recommend all de cheese , breads and the best the pita bread with spinach. Thanks again I will come back . Absolutely.

Yelp
This is my go-to spot for Baklava. Made fresh and a variety of different types, I usually order one of each - walnut, pecan, hazelnut, chocolate, original, pistachio.. The owner is really nice. He has had this shop for a long time and if you have the time, he'll tell you about his life ( very interesting!) Sometimes the kitchen is open and they sell hot food, but the timing varies, and you should call ahead to ask. You can also do some grocery shopping here for authentic middle eastern goods.

Samantha B.

Yelp
Had a wonderful lunch with my mom great food, unique market and delightful pastries best olive oil and hummus ever Ali does not disappoint can't wait to come to try new things
google avatar

Alexander L.

Yelp
It may look like a small family owned spot, but it's authentic take out for great middle eastern food.
google avatar

Adyari M.

Yelp
Terrible customer service and food. Pita chips were soggy and over seasoned. The owner or whoever answered the phone clicked on me and said they no longer did sandwiches. I went in there instead of calling another time and wanted to buy a smaller size babaganoush and he started cursing me out because they didn't have the right size container and I had to get the large one. OMG I couldn't even believe it. This place are not seeing a single hair of mine EVER again! Jeeeezz. the nerve!
google avatar

Lourdes A.

Yelp
Best baklava around...the chocolate one is my favorite! The owner has been there for I believe over 40 years and was a chef in hotels in Palestine. He makes everything himself! He has tubs of baba ghanoush and hummus which go divine with his different flavored pita chips that are to the right of the cashier. We love to support his business!
google avatar

G L.

Yelp
Walked in, German Cockroach crawling up the menu that was hanging up on the wall. Pointed it out to the owner. " Welcome to America." Was the response. Owner seems rude and lacks customer service skills. Very dirty inside. Won't be back. To make it less awkward I purchased some of the Baklava. It resembled Baklava but was very bad tasting.
google avatar

Alexa C.

Yelp
Labne is basically a Lebanese version of tart ricotta mixed with the taste of Greek yogurt. Find someone who doesn't melt at the taste of that. Tabbouleh and Kibbe can be easily sourced here so tasty times are ahead. Samar R. guided me into what I should order which deviated from my usual go-to items but surely was worth it as I brought home plenty of goods from their grocery section for recipes and tinctures perfect for everyday. I now drink rose water for fun you guys, it's supposed to make me be in a better mood. Plenty of eggplant and a wide variety of spices and seasonings are available here for purchase. They serve meals customizable for lunch or dinner sold by the weight served making it the best mix of a grocery store and a restaurant that middle eastern cuisine in in the Shenandoah area can offer. Although there are so many flavors and ingredients quintessential to many countries in the Middle East, most ingredients can be sourced here making this one of the best spots to get your grub on.
google avatar

Gustavo A. L.

Yelp
We've been coming to this place since we first moved to Miami over 10 years ago, back then we didn't have as many places as we have now to stock up on Middle Eastern ingredients. I have the great pleasure and good fortune of being married to a beautiful girl of Lebanese descent and she is a fantastic representative of Middle Eastern cuisine, preparing dishes that have been passed down for generations. The Middle East Best Food is convenient and for us always a sure thing. We can count on finding everything we need from Tabbouleh, to Pita bread to grape leaves and more, and of course, don't forget to grab some of that fantastic Middle Eastern desert it is unique and really good.

Yelp
Once I walked in I was greeted by a very nice older man. I asked him if he had a menu and he responded no but he quickly began to name the many things he had and I already knew what I wanted just by entering BAKLAVA! Lol my fave! So I told him what I wanted. He was so nice! He thought I was Arabic too and asked me where I was from and we had a nice chat about languages and even exchanged some French convo lol. The meat pie and kibbi tasted home made, they were scrumptious! And the baklava being made there was pure perfection. Crispy and sweet with that nutty taste. He recommended the walnut pistachio and almond baklava so I went with one each and all three were amazing! And their hummus....like no other hummus I've had. It was definitely VERY home made and rich! 100% garbanzo bean not like the wannabe hummus' out there that are liquified. Loved everything. I will definitely be back to taste other things he makes! :)

Desiree L.

Yelp
Bought Taboulleh salad and it was so old it smelled and tasted like vinegar. When we called to complain the man who sold it to me (an older man who was not very friendly) just offered a credit next time we go by and quickly hung up. He did not even apologize for selling us bad food. Would never go back!
google avatar

Carla L.

Yelp
I adore the fact that here they know what friendly and genuine service is like. For that reason alone I try to come here as much as possible to pick up the ingredients for my Lebanese dishes. These guys are the best. Always nice, always with a smile and a friendly greeting. The pita is delicious and we usually stock up and freeze some for later, it freezes beautifully. The sweets are really good and I definitely taste the 'homemade' care thats put into it.
google avatar

Nick Q.

Yelp
Ali the owner is awesome. He's a world traveled chef with great taste and really cool stories. This is my go to spot for spinach pies, babaganoush, hummus, falafal, lamb sandwiches, and feta cheeses. Feta plural? Yes! French, Bulgarian, and more. If you like desserts. ......... you have to come try all his. Everything is made fresh in house. Sunday is whole wheat day, my favorite!
google avatar

Jordan N.

Yelp
I actually bought pita bread and shabbyet for Oriental Bakery and from this place to compare, and this small store outdid the bigger store. But size doesn't tell everything. For example, if you are wanting to buy lebni, Oriental has one brand, but this place has two brands, and one of them (with whey proteins) is much better than the other two. And on top of that, this place has more sweets than Oriental bakery. And I'm not even so sure how this is possible, considering that this store is really maybe 1/10 the size of Oriental bakery. You can also order food here. And considering the lackluster kibbeh I ate at Oriental a while back, I probably would recommend eating here out of these two places instead. I'm only am able to really compare this place with Oriental for the reason that both are open relatively late on a Sunday. Daily Bread, Barbar and other stores tend to close much earlier. My only gripe is that at both Oriental and Middle East Best, they serve Syrian/Greek style pita bread (which is really Palestinian style), but not Lebanese style that's perfect for shawarmas (even though Oriental Bakery has the famed Lebanese icon of the cedar tree outside on its walls).

Adam E.

Yelp
They Should change name to The Middle East WORST Food. I went on Sunday morning to get some Pita bread. Monday morning, took it out of the plastic bag, it had green mold on it. I really never ever had this experience before. The old man who owns/work at this place is very rude. Never again!
google avatar

Ammar A.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem. there's a store in the front and then you go to the back and they have this counter full of food. I'm kind of an expert on falafel so I would say this is some great falafel
google avatar

Lamita S.

Yelp
Hands down best CHICKEN SHAWERMA in Miami also Lamb is Amazing . Please try chocolate baklava won't disappoint u .. Clean halal meat and products . Owner Ali is genuine and kind they give FREE QURAAN as well .

Alex G.

Yelp
This place is amazing it is a family owned authentic store. The owner is such a sweet gentleman and the baklava is 200000 out of 10!
google avatar

Ana V.

Yelp
GO HERE! A little bakery and restaurant that has been owned by the sweetest older gentleman since the 70s. There are 7 different types of baklava, olive oil by the gallon, falafel, and lamb gyros to die for all for very reasonable prices. A great mom and pop local business I highly recommend everyone to support!

Joseph P.

Yelp
This is in a pretty convenient spot. Right off Coral Way and 17th Ave. There is parking in the back on NW 21st St which is shared with the other businesses, I have never had trouble parking. This is authentic as it gets here and prices are good. Sandwiches are made to order and baklava is delicious. This is also a niche grocery store and the prices are good for hard to find items. Wish it was a bigger place.

Tanya K.

Yelp
The best. The owners are very nice, and very accommodating. They always make me feel like family when I stop by. They sell the best products at fair prices and the baked goods are SO DELICIOUS. Definitely will be making a point to do more shopping here!
google avatar

Rolo C.

Yelp
Today we ordered a Shawarma sandwich while doing our shopping. So tasty and delicious. He even split it in half for us without being asked. The seasoning on the meat and on the bread is amazingly good.
google avatar

Jorge B.

Yelp
Best lamb shawarma in Miami without any doubt. This bakery, market, and restaurant also has the best baklava.

Nizar A.

Yelp
Truly the best Middle Eastern food in Miami! My wife and I are Palestinian, and this food is a taste of home! Most Arabic ingredients are available too. The best falafel, hummus and pastries in all of Miami! And the desserts are amazing!
google avatar

Edelman L.

Yelp
Nice surprise! I've been looking for more middle eastern food places other than the daily bread since moving back from Toronto. Stumbled upon this little place and had the best shawarma I've ever had. I thought it was a bit overpriced but it's huge. It's on laffa not pita. 2 can easily share but I ate the whole thing topped with a savory hot pepper sauce Ali makes. The baklava is very good also. I will be returning.
google avatar

Vanessa C.

Yelp
This place has the world's best baklava, at a totally reasonable price, sold by the most charming man. I didn't like the shawarma wrap I got, hence the 4 stars, but the baklava is the real MVP here.
google avatar

Kristen H.

Yelp
Does anyone remember how shopping used to be? When people knew their customers and actually cared what the response would be when they ask "How are you?". Well, this place reminds me of that. All of the customers were, of course, super jolly because they knew the pleasant shopping experience that awaited them. I spoke with who I assume is the father and he is super friendly and helpful and was more than happy to explain different products to me and even to offer me a taste test. Great place to pick up canned or dried chickpeas, favas, spices, tahini, olives, dried fruits, nuts, and just about anything you'd need to make middle eastern desserts. On top of that, there's homemade tabouli and hummus, as well as a wide array of tasty homemade sweets available. Let me just say, I tried a pistachio baklava and I had baklava at the Lebanese Festival back home and it wasn't my thing--too sweet and just nothing I'd ever want again--however, this stuff was sooo good! The syrup was not overly sweet at all and the toastiness of the nuts and everything combined almost had a cocoa-like flavor, sort of like hazelnuts do. Just so you know, the owner also speaks Spanish (not to mention German, Italian, and who knows how many other languages). For those of you who don't know, bring your butt here for your NOCHE BUENA stuff! There are loads of dried fruits (dates galore, figs, apricots, golden raisins, the works!) and nuts. Small selection of reasonably priced cheeses as well--I remember seeing a goat cheese log for $5-ish (quite reasonable for the size) and sheep's milk feta. Also, there is a small menu of prepared foods like shawarmas and such and I recall seeing prepared kibbeh as well. This is a really great place with reasonable (though not cheap) prices and I still can't believe it's here in Miami of all places. NICE! $12 card minimum P.S. If you don't see something that you feel like should be there, ask. It might be in the back. UPDATE: If you want the BEST olive oil you've ever tasted, get the Kolympari Greek olive oil. It actually tastes like olives! It is the best and most flavorful olive oil I've ever had and I highly recommend it. Well worth it to get the big bottle for $12.

Yelp
"Marhaba" fellow Yelper. I came back from vacation in the Middle East with one goal in mind: Prepare some fantastic middle eastern food for family and friends. My question, "Where to go?" I'm embarrased to write that I thought to myself, "Are there even any authentic middlr eastern grocery stores in Miami?" *blushing* Well, to my wonderful surprise, a quick search on Yelp turned out three within a five mile radius in the city of Miami. I visited all three and am choosing to Yelp only about my fav. This place is not the largest of the three but it does have something that reminded me of the great hospitality I felt abroad.... a welcoming, cheery and helpful owner (in western terms he would receive an "A+" for customer service.) I asked him for specific ingredients, like orchid root powder, rose water, etc., and he was more than helpful with providing information, alternatives, and even with his own helpful recipes. He is an example of why I love to support local, small business owners. I felt he cared for me and my business. So, if there's an ingredient you need to make your very own sahlab, kanafe or falafel, then this is the place to go. The shelves were neatly organized, the place was clean, and none of the products I bought were expired (very important to look for when shopping for ingredients that may not have a high turnover rate). The place has two small tables inside, so if you want some lively political conversation, then grab a seat and make yourself at home. There is ample street parking along Coral Way, so I'll definitely go back when I need some philo dough. "Shukran" for reading ;)

Yelp
I just love this place for take-out and the father and son who own and run it (very long hours) are consummately friendly and nice (you want to buy from them and the bill never seems enough). They are indeed Palestinian as the first reviewer astutely suspected. Interestingly, the father used to own the other bigger "Oriental" the first reviewer uses to compare. This place is tiny and mostly a little ethnic grocery, but with five types of olives in buckets. ;-) I like more grain and less tomatoes in my tabouli but this is still the best I've ever had and they ask whether you want it "dressed" (olive oil and lemon) when you buy it. All of their other prepared food is also excellent and their extensive sweets are to die for. They also apparently cater and I've always wanted to check out their roasted lamb but I cannot speak to that except to say that all of their product is excellent. For what this place is it is excellent ...

Yelp
A hole in the wall with only 4 chairs and no menu. But the old man is charming and if you ask for Shwarma he will go and make and prepare lamb medallions with onions, vegetables and spices and bring it back wrapped in a ten inch large home made pita. It doesn't resemble the rotisserie version that is served everywhere but it's superb. This must be the best lamb shwarma in Fla! About $8 bucks but it's big enough that a friend took half of it home for his wife. He also bakes some mean baklavas and while you eat he will tell you his life story in the old country. I just wish he wouldn't close so early in the evenings.
