It's alright. The cook was really nice. The rest of the staff. Meh. The lady at the drinks truck didn't smile even once and was not nice. The guy getting my food order was wearing sun glasses, pretty disrespectful (unless he is recovering from something) but when you work at a place and have customer interaction I'd expect more respect. Food was alright. They added a 4% fee "4% Surcharge will be added to each check this helps support increased wages for our team members " maybe pay your staff better and don't overcharge me for this? Beautiful place though!

I’ve been coming here regularly since they opened a few years ago, you just can’t beat the location right on the bay with the beautiful views! I often get the mocha latte and lately they added a food menu. The meatballs were great! It’s nice they carry the Paradise Bar which is scrumptious 😋

Breakfast here is a joke! Do not come you can make everything the same at home for $5. There tacos are just tortillas with egg and bacon and no seasoning.

Coffee, food, wine, beer, and a view. Doesn’t get much better than that. Pull up shaded table under a tree or sunbrella to eat or work on your laptop. Pull up a chair to enjoy the sun, look out to the bay, or read a book. Happy hour 4-6 PM has $2 off wine and beer. The only complaint is that they could use coffee carriers for bikes since people often ride by it before riding off and not sure that’s qualifies as a complaint. Will definitely be enjoying this spot several more times.

My friend and I also enjoyed two perfectly chilled beers, thanks to his recommendation. Andrew's skill and friendly service significantly enhanced our visit. The Perfect SoCal Summer Hangout Spot If you're looking for the quintessential laid-back, sunny SoCal vibe, the Mission Bay Beach Club is an absolute must-visit. I recently attended one of their free outdoor yoga classes on the lawn during sunset, and it was such a blissful experience. The class itself was excellent, with an experienced instructor who created a relaxing yet invigorating flow. But what really made it special was the stunning setting - practicing yoga as the sun dipped below the horizon, with gentle breezes rolling off the bay. It was truly rejuvenating for the mind, body, and soul. After the class, I made my way over to the patio area and treated myself to a glass of crisp, refreshing rosé. The patio has such a cool, chilled-out ambiance, perfect for whiling away a summer evening. The views of the bay and surrounding area are gorgeous as well. Between the excellent yoga class, beautiful setting, tasty drinks, and wonderfully relaxing vibe, the Mission Bay Beach Club has instantly become my new go-to spot for the summer. The friendly, welcoming staff and affordable prices are just bonuses on top of an all-around outstanding experience. Whether you're a local or just visiting San Diego, do yourself a favor and spend an evening at this little slice of SoCal paradise. I can't recommend the Mission Bay Beach Club enough - it's a definite 5-star gem.

My review is mostly based on 3 things: the price, the service, and the food quality. All 3 were subpar. The view is beautiful but there is also an issue with that. Mission Bay was created for the public and paid for by San Diego residents. Prior to this place the building was a church and the parking was open to the public. Now this place is here and the parking is for customers only. I think it's lame the City is making this public space comercial, for a price rather than freely open to the public.

I absolutely love going here and I love asking friends to meet me here if I need a place to be outside and enjoy the sun. There's tons of parking and you can watch the water and the waves and people walking around. It's a beautiful actual coffee shop it has lots of umbrellas and nice wooden tables and chairs And the food is good and the coffee is good. I can't recommend this place enough and I meet friends here all the time Yes, you can get oatmeal here and you can get decaf and you also can get tea. One time we saw the Audubon Society having a meeting there, which was so cool to watch from the side. It made me want to join the club The servers here are actually always really friendly and very prompt and there is a bathroom on site. It's sometimes has a line, but it goes pretty quick.

I like the concept. However, this is the smallest glass of wine for $14 bucks. Maybe they should measure the glasses so you actually get a decent pour. I also DON'T think they added the $2 OFF happy hour price to my bill. The place is a nice place right on the bay. The food is decent. I'd come back, but I would not pay for a tiny pour of wine again. They do have friendly staff.

I recently visited this restaurant and was thoroughly disappointed. After waiting an hour and 40 minutes for my food, I found it wasn't worth the wait. The food itself was mediocre--neither bad nor great. What truly let me down was being denied a refill for my black coffee. This is the first place I've been to that doesn't offer free refills for black coffee. The only redeeming quality is the view. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back.

My money was refused after waiting in a long line. They didn't even examine my $100. They said they couldn't, got a manager, she looked at me and said for sceurity reasons she couldn't take my $100. Train your people how to test the money for counterfeit and don't just look at your customer and tell them their money is a security risk. It felt offensive especially after already waiting in a long line and I had just worked out on the bay and was pretty hungry and thirsty.

Have been wanting to stop by here for a while since I like going to the coves. Decided to take a Sunday walk and stop by here for a Nutcracker Latte. I did not realize they had a separarte wine shop. Definitely stopping back to do a wine flight. Staff is super nice, tons of seating and good music. Can't wait to try out their Adirondack chairs to enjoy a sunset.

I got the breakfast bagel it was gone in 5 mins. 100/10 recommend!!!! This place so cute to eat at and the service there was amazing.

What is the greatest looks of the Mission Bay Area that overlooks the water and the beauty all around? San Diego has so many great areas of the history of the bay and the Pacific Ocean docks that you can see the many ships that come and go each day from the city of San Diego. There is one place which has the many things to do and the many events that you can do as if you were at the beach enjoying the days if you were at the Boardwalk in New Jersy. I wanted to see the area over near the Clairmont Trolley Station to see what or if the main bridge was connected and the Pedestrian accesses that leads to the beach. I had taken the Blue Line that leads past the many beaches side Trolley Stations with the Blue Line Trolley I was able to get accesses. The main station that you can use is the Clairmont Drive Transit Center you can cross the street and go up the stairs and walk down the bridge to the beach club which has the largest section and the beautiful views of the bay and the vacant homes that have been torn down on the far side the slope of the freeway offramp it leads you up Clairmont Drive and down towards the Beach Club where you can find plenty of parking and the occasional beach party . When you arrive at the Beach Club you see the Hawaiian Tower formation that was the tower that many people saw when they were driving down the freeway to the city of San Diego from the areas of Los Angeles when you come to San Diego that has been the Monument so many people connect to San Diego. The day was the best to visit the Mission Bay Beach Club there was so much there the gift stores you could buy the flavored drinks and the eatery that is located to the welcome center you find the Historical Mission Beach Bell covered in the bluish green color. The property of the Mission Bay Beach club you can find the many pink beaches that have memorials to the many people that have made so many lives complete here in the city of San Diego. Mission Bay Beach Club is one place that you can have the best time of the week and to have great parties with the beach nearby with the plenty of parking and the restaurant and the store they have you can find many drinks that are organic and the many cocktails which are the best for the adults that love to have great reunions and the beach gatherings. There are so many places that you can find when you can take the walk about and take the San Diego Trolley or to take the San Diego Busses you see so many things along the way. With the Mission Bay Beach Club you can see so many things and to experience the feel of history many stops along the way from the Old Town Trolley Station Mission Bay Beach Club has been one of the many ports that had serviced the many Northern Parts of San Diego. As a Yelp Elite I have been to so many areas yet this one place the Mission Bay Beach Club has so much fun with the Sea World Park that is across the Bay and the coast drive that you can take the San Diego Blue Line trolley which has been the best way to save money and to park at the stations.

This is my second visit to this place. The first one was over a year ago and I thought they would be better by now, but unfortunately no. Today, I paid $14 dollars for a breakfast sandwich with bacon and that's what I received. I asked the lady about it and she said this is the normal amount of bacon they put in a sandwich that has only 3 ingredients: bacon, egg and cheese (I paid 1.30 extra to add the avocado you see) Well, I live walking distance from this place and it could be a regular if they had a different attitude when I complained. I am only giving 2 stars because the view its nice, but it could be another restaurant in this place, once this one doesn't deliver good food or service. FYI I paid $49.33 for a caprese toast + this sandwich you see + latte + Arnold Palmer. I wouldn't mind paying this much if the service and food were AMAZING.

Grabbed a second breakfast bite here before paddle boarding. Service was great, very polite people. Our food came out in a timely manner. I had the turkey panini which was delicious! My friend ordered the scrambled egg toast, it had a tad too much cream cheese, but she enjoyed the taste overall. Ambiance does not need to be explained! Vineyard on the bay with multiple seating options and more additions coming soon. This will be my summer spot for my morning paddle board sessions. Love it!

So glad we stopped here! Yummy & unique flavored lattes, which was just what we needed after our flight. Their various toasts were also the perfect breakfast, not too heavy. The outdoor seating was nice & spacious-- a great place to kick back and relax!

What a hidden gem tucked away! I'm sure I've driven past this place many times, but never noticed it. A friend suggested we meet here, and it didn't disappoint. I enjoyed the wine flight and the panini we ordered. The flights are a bit small for the price, but the view and ambiance is perfect! I highly recommend visiting for girls night or date night.

The view was spectacular . It was a relaxing and peaceful experience. It was a comfortable area to meet with friends. You order your items at a counter. You pick up your beverage at the counter. The server will bring your meal item to the table. The coffee was good to the last drop. The bread was very tasty on the sandwich. The avocado toast was very good consisting of one big slice of bread

Smack dab in the middle of Mission Beach Park, the white-spired Mission Bay Beach Club was a welcome respite from a walk in 100+ degree heat! I ordered an iced latte with oat milk, which was flavorful and not watered down (a pet peeve with iced drinks) and my husband ordered iced tea. MBBC also offers a short but appealing vegan menu through their cafe called Superbloom. Order at the same counter as you get your drinks. Think veggie bowls with couscous, quinoa, oats. For example, the "Santa Cruz" has quinoa, kale, arugula, beets, sweet peppers, edamame, cucumbers, pickled red onions, sesame seeds and carrot ginger dressing. Yum! Unfortunately, we were way too hot to eat. We sipped our cold drinks in the shade -- all seating is outdoors. The shop was closed, unfortunately -- we were looking to rent some beach cruisers there (through the business called Beach Bunny. Yes, confusing). MBBC seems to be very popular, so take that into consideration if you have a lot of people in your party. Service was okay -- the baristas seemed to be kind of in a bad mood, so if I could, I would dock a half star. That said, this is a perfect place for morning coffee, lunch or an afternoon pick-me-up. There is tons and tons of free parking. Oh, and it's dog-friendly.

Great place to relax. Perfect place to end a long run with a cup of coffee. I've always passed by but never actually gone in. since it's along the bay, I'm sure I'll be stopping by more often.

Pretty cool place to hang out on a lazy Sunday afternoon. I came here to check out Super Bloom Coffee & Juice. I liked the beach club so I decide toi hang out for a while. First of all, the place offers a very nice view of Mission Bay and the surrounding Mission Bay Park. I hear there's a restaurant coming very soon. Beach Bunny is located here where you can rent adult and children bikes to ride around the bay. Oh yes! You can also rent stand up paddle boards. They have a cute little "Vineyard by the Bay" where you can host special events such as weddings, retirement parties, etc. The small little vineyard is actually very pretty to look at. I look forward to returning, especially when the restaurant opens. It will be a great place for brunch or a sunset dinner.

I wanted to go to a place I could have lunch and relax on my day off. I've been wanting to go to this place for a while. Super cute cafe with table and lounge area. Many people had their lap tops. I have a house coffee and a panini. Both yummy. Friendly service and a beautiful view of mission bay. :)

Fun place to stop for a coffee or tea and pastry or simple avocado or egg toast or almond butter and jam toast Somewhat pricey but the view and location are wonderful and completely pleasant place to sit and have alone time or time with a friend. I enjoy walking here. Miles of paths for bike or walking and lots of people having gathering and Picnics and water play in kayaks and paddle boards. Kite flying too, and lots of playgrounds for the kids. Line can get long for coffee but it's a nice place to wait and it moves along nicely. Plenty of seating too! This structure was the Mission Bay Visitors Information Center until it was shuttered about a decade ago. It has now reopened as a multi-purpose facility with an all-vegan coffee shop and juice bar (Superbloom), an urban vineyard, and a future pizza restaurant. There is also a beach apparel boutique and a bike rental facility on the other sides of the building. The access to I-5 and the excellent view of Mission Bay make this venue a very attractive location. Until the pizzeria opens, the food and drink choices were rather limited at Superbloom. Pre-packaged snacks like bowls and salads were available at a hefty price of $13 each. Baked goods ranged from $3.50 to $5.50 apiece. Coffee, tea, juices, and elixirs were the drink categories. There was a list of eight different juices so I chose the Cold Crusher (carrot, orange, lemon, turmeric). I thought the concoction was going to be freshly blended by the staff. Instead, each of these was 12 oz juice bottles that were already cold-pressed and supplied by Urban Remedy. The cost for such a serving size was $8. The taste was good, and I assumed the ingredients were fresh, but it was really pricey. I did like the garden/vineyard setup in front of the building as that made the surroundings feel more peaceful.

Location is amazing, grounds and landscaping are beautiful, seating patio area is so lovely and inviting but this is were it all ends. I believe there are more things coming to this location in terms of food and drink options. For now, its just Superbloom cafe with their overpriced coffee drinks ($6 for a latte with almond milk) and all vegan food options that were looking very unappealing, the pastries under the glass dome didn't entice at all look-wise. Barista's attitude needs improvement. I'll revisit and review this place again after sometimes, hopefully the owners are reading all the feedback. Expand menu, add non vegan items, snacks for kids and so on.

I love this spot! Great place for Sunday yoga!! Drinks are good but a bit pricey! Paid around $8-10 just for a drink I could get at Starbucks! I love that there's always parking and places to sit!

Beautiful location with ample seating! I stopped by this morning toward the end of my bike ride and definitely will be making this a part of pit stop in the bay! Food doesn't get served until 9AM which is a bit of a bummer for early birds but the lawn chairs facing the bay are a nice spot to just sit and relax while you enjoy your cup of joe.

Food and drinks are delicious! There is a wait, but the views are incredible. Staff are very kind. Only one bathroom.

Location, location, location... This beautiful waterfront destination have historic roots. Superbloom Coffee and Juice Bar just had their soft opening September 3, 2021, just like any places that just opened they still have a lot of kinks to workout, probably hire more staff and experienced baristas. Everyone is really nice though and super apologetic about the long wait. There is a bike rental shop next door, the bikes are equipped with small baskets. They will soon be adding a full bar as well as a full service restaurant, including a fire pit lounge area. While sitting down, enjoying the amazing view, sipping coffee and eating pastries. I cannot help but notice the foul smell lingering in the air. After walking around I noticed RV's lined up and realized the Recreational Vehicle (RV) Dump Station is located behind this establishment. The smell ruined my appetite... Food and dump location just doesn't go together, it is literally a few feet away. I hope something can be done, this is such a promising location.

I LOVE MBBC and go there often! The only issue I have is that there's only one cashier so the line sometimes goes around the corner and it's a very long wait to order. The cashier sometimes works on fulfilling the orders as well as taking cash. The other 2-3 servers often stand around behind the counter doing nothing while waiting for an order to come through. A best fix would be to add another cash register. Alternately make sure that the cashier doesn't do anything besides taking orders and money.

Bought ticket for wine tasting, workflow not set up well. Maybe they will evolve in time. One bathroom for 100-150 people so not fun. Servers super cool and professional, could have used more staff. IMHO, if you have an event, close off to outside people as a private event. Best of luck, will try future events to see if it improves.

Grew up in the neighborhood. Came a few times when this place first opened and was underwhelmed by the options there was only snacks and bad coffee - no substantial food - but gave it more chances as I was excited something new in my community. Overpriced, gross coffee. Owner was snappy with my 6 year old son.

When I lived in PB I used to walk the bay everyday, I move, & then they put in the cutest little spot with the best views. Only slightly heartbroken. This place is an entire vibe. I went with suggestions & got the Vanilla Biscuit which was alright, but I knew I should've gotten the fluffer nutter, which I will try next time. I also got the lotus bowl & even though it's a prepackaged item it was reallllllllllly good! This is a fully vegan cafe which already eliminates a certain crowd (for the better, in my opinion) .... I'm not vegan, but I do work in coffee so I get the vibes. I sat on the patio & just really took in the moment & how incredible it is to be able to drink coffee with a water view. So all in all this experience is forcing me to move back to PB so I can have my daily walks & coffee with a view!

Unfortunately doesn't have bike rentals despite it saying that here. Don't waste your time. Atmosphere seemed nice.

I cannot get over paying $7.25 for a subpar latte and not even having a nonfat milk option (whole, oat, almond only). If I could, I may have rated this higher since the space is cool. I am a local and would come from time to time but not at these prices.

We enjoyed our a coastline walk in Mission Bay, now with the beach club there, it's even more breathtaking. It's chill vibes and great coffee! Our tea was just ok, they don't use sugar on the Teas so it wasn't anything crazy. However, the scenery is lovely, the grapevines are beautiful and I love how they have bike rentals as well. You definitely have to check this place here!

This place is great. I see other people complaining about the price. It's the same price as Better Buzz or Starbucks but here you get the amazing view. This place is seriously super cute. I ordered one of the salads, it was tasty and big! Worth every penny. I also ordered a snickerdoodle latte and a blackberry lemonade. Both drinks were excellent. Next time I'm going to grab a donut as they were calling my name. I'm stoked to have this little gem at the bay.

We had a semi private event here. It was beautiful and food was delicious. We ordered off the catering menu. Our guests enjoyed the views! Thank you!

I was appalled when I saw the poor ratings for this place!! My husband and I went today and absolutely loved it! It's such an adorable spot and is only getting better once all the new places are up and running. I'm especially looking forward to the pizza and wine spot. The outdoor furniture was super nice and cozy, the views were incredible, they had nice music playing. They had super cute decor up for the holidays and we got some cute photos with our baby. We loved the ambiance. We got one of their speciality drinks for winter, the snickerdoodle, and it was delicious. My husband got a mock tail and he enjoyed his. There was a puppy birthday party while we were there and tons of puppies. Lots of people were working at the tables. Super nice spot, we can't wait to return!

Unsure how to rate this because some of the things were a full 5 - stars. Met with a friend today for a cool drink and a chat. The setting is in a very lux and prime location with ample parking. 5 stars. Drinks were mediocre at best - 2 stars. Including price and tips. Customer service is just whatever you get these days. I don't expect much. Girls were nice enough. 3 stars It was a gorgeous sunny day today and the weather was perfect. If you're on a walk near De Anza this is the place to pop in but take note it's coffee their way. All vegan foods / milk subs. If I had to give a comment to the owners: upgrade your coffee and espresso beans and add in some other options for non-vegans. Too niche for me. It's a one and done deal for this girl. Take care.

The cafe itself is very cute and nice. I like the atmosphere and the ideas. The drinks were okay nothing special and not so good and the pricing was a little expensive for an okay drink. The cashier was kind of not rude but polite either. I probably won't come back.

Went for a walk with my dogs and stopped by the wine bar they had. Well actually it was kinda like a little store. But bought a bottle of wine. They opened it for us and gave us glasses. Sat and watched the sunset.

We have been awaiting a coffee shop/cafe here for SO long. So happy it's finally here. Great location, beautiful relaxing atmosphere, and tasty coffee drinks and snacks. We had a couple lattes and an avocado toast, and sat back and enjoyed the beautiful view before a walk on the bay.

I wasn't sure if I should base this review on the food or service, but I figured the service was more important in this case. First the pros and then we'll get to Miss Sweet Cheeks.The parking was easy and there are two lots, one is 10.00 to park and the other is free. Both lots are about 100 feet from each other. The fee may be related to the artesian market that was held today, not sure. The matcha latte and the blackberry lemonade was good. The Turkey Panini was tasty as well as the Egg Toast. Two outhouses available with NO hand washing station. Thank goodness I had hand wipes with us. Location is great and so pretty on the bay, easy access to the 5 freeway and about 20 minutes from Coronado Island. Now to the reality. First, you self seat and order from the QR code placed at each table and it's delivered to you about 40 minutes later. There were several empty tables, all dirty with food trays and food left behind. I asked Miss Sweet Cheeks very politely (photo posted) if someone could please clean off a table for us. Her response was, "There are some napkins and you can do it yourself!" I could not believe her response and as a business owner myself, If I had an employee represent my company like this, I'd be mortified.The owner should definitely know who he has representing his business before he has no business at all. This type of customer service is enough for us to never return, nor would we recommend this establishment, ever.

I appreciate the vicinity to the Bay where you can grab a coffee (in my case chai latte) and then go for a walk eith a friend or sit in their gorgeous outdoor seating with a view of the bay. The whole place is gorgeous...I just wish it wasn't so expensive! My medium iced chai latte was well over $6, plus you add a tip...thre me off for a moment. My only complaint. Otherwise great spot to invite friends to or visitors from out of town.

Aesthetics of venue: 5/5 Love how this place has been fixed up. It is adorable and has so much potential. Location: 5/5 Super convenient location off the freeway. I can bike here from my house. Food/drinks: 3.5/5 The tea was mediocre. The pastry we got was delicious. The ice cream sandwich was frozen. Like I'm glad we didn't chip our tooth, frozen. Service: 1/5 The two girls had horrible work ethics. Acted peeved that we came to order. When we asked a question, simply said to look at the menu. This happened twice. The menu literally says to ask about what flavor Ice creams they have. When I came to pick up drink, they were gossiping about some guy not texting back. (I don't blame him honestly, he probably saw their work ethics and was turned off ) I would be pretty bummed out if this was my establishment and my employees were acting this way. Overall, I would go back since I loved the venue and like to support local. But if the service was poor again, I won't waste my time or money in the future.

Beautiful, amazing location buttttttt... They take forever and there is a long wait, the girls that were working today were moving on slow motion. They will benefit of experience barista or a faster staff. Also, I asked for a plastic tumbler for my kids juice "which I purchased there" and they charged me $$$5 for a plastic cup.... I felt rushed as there was a long line, my boy wanted the cup so bad for the juice and didn't want to be that person so I paid $5 FOR A PLASTIC CUP.... That's was not nice from the blonde lady working the cashier today. I live in the neighborhood and usually take my kids there for juice and no body ever charged me for a cup... I do not like to wait but since it is so nice I deal with it but today I am very upset. I hope a manager gets back to me since this is unacceptable.....

Wow worst service I have ever had, I am completely shocked with how bad this place is. Might be beautiful place and the decor is great but the service is appalling bad. Don't waste your money here.
