"In the Eldeco Centre in New Delhi, I encountered a San Francisco–themed restaurant called the Mission Bay that invites diners to "taste the spirit of San Francisco." Owned by Puja Sahu (who founded the Potbelly Bihari Kitchen) and inspired by her trips through San Francisco, Napa, Sonoma, and Healdsburg, the venture recruited Bay Area locals — chef Adam Timney (Starbelly) and sous chef Dustin Vorkoeper — with West Bev consulting on cocktails. The menu blends Mexican, Italian, Mediterranean, Japanese, and Korean influences and features fried chicken karaage paired with gochujang aioli and lemon; hamachi crudo with leche de tigre, avocado, chile, and puffed quinoa; Baja-style shrimp tacos; a lavender-brined pork chop with roasted butternut squash purée and miso-glazed carrots and roasted mushrooms; and a grilled lamb burger, while cocktails pay homage to Bay Area restaurants by name. The interior, with plush blue booths, terrazzo tables, and plenty of plants, would also look at home in the Bay Area." - Dianne de Guzman

First of all kudos to the owner and the Team for all the amazing hospitality. It is the service and the personal touch that add a few brownie points. On the matter of food - everything ordered felt fresh. The flatbread - the ravioli - piping hot and appealing. The Tea worked equally well with the food palette. However some work needs to be done on the drinks front still. Whiskey sour didn’t make it to our “best-tried-till-date” category. Nonetheless a wonderful experience.

This San Francisco-themed restaurant is situated facing the front of ElDeco Centre, and has a retro sort of feel when it comes to décor: tiled floors, deep sofas, warm wood tones, and a silent Laurel and Hardy movie being projected onto one wall (it’s quite unobtrusive, so you may well go through most of your meal without even realizing it’s there). The long bar counter also has an old-fashioned feel to it, and the paper placemats are a glimpse of important people in SF’s history. The menu has a wide array of dishes, from salads to tacos, meatballs, main courses, polenta, risotto, a few desserts… we ordered a parmesan sformato (a very nice savoury creamy cheese custard, served with pesto-brushed toast and arugula); a Baja style shrimp tacos; and a pork carnitas tacos. Every single item was delicious, we couldn’t have asked for better food. A bit on the expensive side, given that the portion sizes aren’t huge, but still worth it.

The vegetarian food was excellent esp the guacamole , virgin picante drink is fabulous. The flat bread chicken tostada was very limp and the roast chicken was good but portions were less . The apple berry crumble was too sweet . The cauliflower tacos were excellent and so was the vegetable burger and also the guacamole.

Mission Bay was a disappointment for us only because we had high expectations. The gentleman who we presume is the owner was friendly enough to lure us in, we looked forward to an exciting meal except it fell flat. The menu is not experimental, neither is it classical. I expected exciting cal-Italian or classics like chowder, lobster rolls etc. I’ve even forgotten what we ate.. hope the gentleman brings out a new menu so that we return

Had an incredible dining experience at the newly opened San Francisco cuisine inspired restaurant. Loved the vibe and cozy interiors. It’s a hidden gem to say the least. From the lovely ambience to the prompt service. the food here is fresh, flavorful and exciting. Firstly, We tried the Grilled prawns and shrimp tacos which were mouth mastering and delicious. The menu is compact and they have huge variety of cocktail and mocktails on offer. We tried a tequila based cocktail which was good. I personally loved the Roasted butternut squash and even the Pan roast chicken was bursting with a unique bold taste and was amazing. The affogato in desserts was delicious. If you are looking for lovely brunches and great evenings with friends and some good live gigs then this new and happening place is a must try. I am sure that I will be coming here more often.

I had an absolutely incredible experience at *The Mission Bay*! The restaurant beautifully captures the essence of the San Francisco Bay Area, from its innovative menu to its warm, inviting atmosphere. The *Vesuvios Window* mocktail was refreshing with a perfect balance of flavors, while the *Roasted Butternut Squash* and *Brussels Sprouts with Kimchi* were both bursting with unique, bold tastes. The *Black and White Shimeji Mushroom Flatbread* was hands down one of the best I’ve had in Delhi. And don’t even get me started on the *Affogato* – pouring espresso over that creamy vanilla ice cream and brownie was pure bliss. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the whole dining experience even better. If you’re looking for something new and extraordinary, *The Mission Bay* is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommend!

The only reason it is not 5/5 stars is that I found the dishes to be pricey for the quantity. That being said, the food was amazing!!! We had the market green salad, guacamole and the burrata caponata. As someone who had widely declared ages ago that she hates salads, I’ve been very happily proven wrong. The market green salad was excellent. I love guacamole and the one here was as good as any. But!!! The real show stopper is the burrata caponata. It was the best dish I had all week on my Delhi trip, and I had a lot of good food. You cannot miss trying out the burrata caponata. I for one can’t wait to go back and eat it again.
