The coffee is amazing, some of the best I've had in Atlanta, as for those mentioning issues with rude staff, they must have fired them. I arrived and only two were working, one the bar the other the kitchen, as they do have a decent food menu which sounded delicious. The gentleman working the bar was already busy making some other customers espresso drinks, so I had to wait a minute to order which he apologized for. The atmosphere at The Mourning Dove is great for doing work or for hanging out with friends or co-workers, plenty of seating inside and shady seating on the patio. They had a great alternative playlist going, but that's definitely personal preference. If you're in the area and want some coffee or something to eat I would definitely recommend coming here.

Great spot to grab a coffee when you're in the area. There's a lot of natural light coming into the building if you want to stay for a little while to work or read. Keep in mind that there aren't very many outlets, so charging a laptop could be difficult.

We live nearby and would like to frequent mourning dove however the hours are incredibly erractic. We've shown up twice on Sunday morning ~11 during operating hours and it's been closed. No sign on the door, no indication of when it will open. We love the ambience of the place and the food and coffee is pretty good. But we have not had a consistent enough experience.

Expensive but so beautiful, and amazing coffee! Great selection of nut milks too- even cashew milk. And the cherry oat scone was fantastic. Very low key with plenty of seating if you go before 9am on a weekday morning.

The staff is not friendly. The coffee tastes absolutely awful! I liked this place more when it was Corso as they used a decent espresso brand (Illy & LaVazza). I will have to find a new local coffee shop that actually knows how to make a cappuccino and uses an espresso bean that tastes decent.

I’ve been here quiet a bit. The concept is great but the food quality is hit or miss. When a coffee shop pours a cup of coffee, they must be consistent m. Each time you pour, you should warm up the cup so the cup doesn’t cool down the hot coffee.maybe not everyone does this! But if you do ( which they did), then pls be consistent

This place won't last. Quality does not suppose the PRICE. I visited twice. On my 1st visit(1 week from today), I walked around 4 pm. One "barista" seemly ignored me while she was chewing. She chewed for about 2 more minutes. Then she walked to register, apologized and ask me if she could help me. I ask if they had any cookies...chocolate chips cookies. She replied. "Yes. But, I just ate the last one. I was a little miffed. I laughed about it and decide come back earlier in the day on another day. Today, around 11:00am, I walked in to inquire about chocolate chip cookies. I was told that they did not make any today. :-( Hence, I choose to get a biscuit with chicken sausage. They took time to prepare it and when it was ready the barista brought me the biscuit in a box (it was to go order). However, she neglected to provide and bag or a napkin and when she handed it to me and did NOT look at me. She continued to talk to a co-worker. I was expecting. "Here you go enjoy. Did you need a napkin? Thank you for coming." Yes. the biscuit alone was fine. However, the chicken sausage (on the biscuit) smelled a little old. It was only 3/8 inch thick. Yet, it was NOT completely done as it had a little pink. Chicken (or sausage) is not supposed to be served under-cooked. NOT GOING BACK.
