The Museum Shop

This multi story shop has absolutely everything you’ll need for museum souvenirs. I was blown away with the variety of goodies for visitors of all ages.

Had a wonderful experience today at AMNH gift shop. Wonderful selection of gifts for yourself & your friends. But the best part was dealing with Lauren who treated me like visiting royalty & Tyra who wrapped my purchase fit for a queen. They were so delightful. I love what I bought with Lauren’s help. A beautiful slab of specularite at a very good price. I’ll be back soon to shop & visit with Lauren & Tyra. Thank you ladies!

Very impressed by the Museum of Natural History museum shops. A high variety of items, some locally sourced, some name brand (Legos, for instance), and generally just good stuff. Highly recommend if you want a fun, geeky souvenir.

You cannot leave without a souvenir from this shop, there are real gems here! (Pun intended). The staff is really nice and prices vary from $1 to thousands of dollars, your choice!

AMNH shop is not so different from any other museum shop. If you can get the discount it's not so bad. There are about 2&1/2 floors of shop the very top one is where the more expensive stuff is so avoid that if you are with kids.

If you're in the American Museum of Natural History a visit to the American Museum of Natural History Gift Shop is a must for any gifts or souvenirs. It's big, spacious, whimsically decorated with flying reptiles, maybe flying dinosaurs, like Pterodactylus Antiquus or maybe some Preranodon Longiceps. But whatever they are, both fitting and pleasing to look at. The inventory and choices of items here are huge and for all age groups. They have all kinds of caps, jackets, tee-shirts, socks, ties, dresses, toys, kits, books for all age groups, jewelry items of earrings, rings, bracelets, etc. But, there is even more with the "Museum Inspired" as well as featured items such as those inspired by the Theodore Roosevelt Memorial and many, many more. As a museum addict, I've been to plenty of museum as well as museum gift shops, and as far a museum gift shops go this is one of the best.
