Where to Eat the Best French Fries and Tater Tots in Dallas

"Many a Dallasite has pledged allegiance to the burgers at OSK, and the fries are just as good. The thin-cut, skin-on specimens — made from russets for a punch of potato-y flavor — are twice-fried until perfectly crisp, then showered with a generous sprinkle of garlic salt. Don’t even thinking about just getting one order to split, because no one wants to share these fries." - Amy McCarthy, Rachel Pinn

Looking for a great place to eat, drink and meet fablous people. I recommend the next hot spot in Trinity Grove, The Network Bar. I love the rustic vibe and delicious drink selections. Please come out and think about being a member of a fantastic club.

Really cool networking spot with great drinks and awesome food. Young professional type of vibe. Sometimes they bring in guest speakers and there are often interesting events being hosted here. Definitely worth checking out to jumpstart your networking, especially if you’re new to the area

We had a fabulous event at The Network Bar. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and the bar kept the patriotic themed drinks flowing. Comfortable lounge areas make this a perfect networking spot to be. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Visited this aptly-named bar for a networking event last night. It's tucked in the back corner of Trinity Groves so was a little hard for me to find, but no issues once I hit the front door. It's a nice bar with a distinct business / business casual vibe. A full bar with speedy staff and plenty of seating. My drink was well made and time flew by while here. I'm looking forward to returning again for the next event.

Yelp
What an amazing concept!! A bar literally made for networking. Impressive :) I came here for a medical society chapter meeting and it was awesome! The bar is hidden in the beautiful Trinity Groves and if you aren't looking for it, you might not find it, because it's that "exclusive". There is an annual fee to be a member of the bar and only members can "Network". When you first walk in, they offer to check your jacket and get you checked in. The establishment is beautifully decorated and the staff is very polite and professional. There are appetizers and drinks constantly flowing. The sliders were flavored well and the perfect size. The buffalo shrimp were to DIE FOR! The were battered to perfection and perfectly sauced. The sushi was also very good, especially for a non-sushi restaurant. While I was there as a guest for a meeting, I'd love to be a member in the future so I can Network :))

Yelp
I've been here for several events and this place is so cozy and gives a nice lounge vibe. It's a great place for meeting up with people and to grab a drink but It is a club and if you want full access the place at any time you will need to be a member and membership is not cheap (think a couple grand a year ) but they have several events year round that would be worth the price if you will also use their spaces for meetings, temporary office space, and entertaining clients. The drinks are moderate to expensive but very good and the appetizers are very tasty.

Yelp
Great place for socializing events. I was invited to go one time and I enjoyed the fabulous food and cocktails. The Leather couches are so comfy.

Yelp
Such a classy joint. Older professionals come here. Drinks are made well and the staff is very kind and prompt. The room is a bit dark, but in a good way. I like the ambiance!

Yelp
Lindsay, Your reply was not complete. What you wrote to me personally was very different, inviting me to return to The Network Bar ONLY if I removed my review! My integrity and my review are not for sale with the price of a meal! How very sad to think that I could be bought, much less to be bought by a poor meal and poor service!

Yelp
While visiting Dallas, TX for the weekend I decided to attend an event hosted by The Network Bar w Veuve Clicquot and I had an amazing time. The staff was exceptional, the owner came out to greet guests and the food and drinks were just as good as the service. This was a great introduction to the hospitality of Dallas, Tx.

Yelp
Been here once for their brunch and bubbles event, although I am not a member. Great place for networking, we all had a great time. We had the crab cake benedict, avocado toast and chicken and waffles. Everything was delicious.

Yelp
Fantastic venue for a meeting, lunch, drinks or dinner. It's not just a bar, it's a restaurant, modeled after Nick & Sam's. The space is adorned with super-size prints by David Yarrow, photographer, author and conservationist. The incredibly attentive staff is lead by Troy Baustert. I guarantee the membership fee is well worth the price. The Network Bar where "everyone knows your name", is another winning concept by restaurant visionary, Phil Romano.

Yelp
Want to know where James Bond goes for a drink? It's definitely The Network Bar. Upon entry it appears to be an office building with a receptionist at the desk. However if you're a member she will press a button and the sliding door opens to reveal a bar and lounge. I sat at the bar and was taken care of by Anthony who provided me with excellent service. I ordered the sliders for my appetizer and also sampled the Mac and cheese balls and the hummus. The sliders were the best and they were served medium like I prefer. The buns are fresh and the bbq sauce tastes like it is made in house. Delicious app and you get three good sized sliders. The Mac and cheese balls are huge but still crispy so that's a hard thing to pull off. The inside needed salt but that was only complaint honestly. For drinks I had the Upper hand and the CEO. The Upper hand is tequila, mint and berry purée. It was refreshing and the tequila still came through over all the sweetness. The appearance of the drink is spot on and definitely instagram worthy. The CEO is basically a spicy margarita with Chiles in your drink. I love spicy drinks and this one was not spicy in my opinion but still very good. Once I got to the bottom where my pepper was the spice game stepped up. This is a experience that is worth having and The Network Bar is a winner in my book.

Yelp
The network bar is way too dark and obscure for my taste for a membership club. Though it does serve an older crowd as the vibe in the place does seem to communicate that. Regardless, I had a decent time there with very attentive and accommodating servers who catered to every single one of my needs. Drinks were fun and the little snack bites during the networking portion were good. I don't have much to complain about but I probably won't be a regular here with other places that can cater to my tastes.

Yelp
This place is Dallas' secret to a professional networking circle. I've been coming to Network Bar since its inception and I have yet to see any concept come close. NWB offers incredible benefits to membership, such as members-only networking events, lively Saturday brunches, an ever-rotating speaker series, and so much more. The menu has been fine-tuned to fit the atmosphere and exceptional customer service that you would expect from a members-only club. Great work space during the day, perfect spot to impress a client with lunch or dinner, and a calm yet professional atmosphere after office hours. The mixture of member demographics is incredible as well: High-level executives that have run Dallas for over 30 years and hungry young-guns eager for a seat at the table. There's always a friendly face at the front desk and the staff is incredibly accommodating. If there's one thing I'm certain of, it's that every large city should have their own Network Bar.

Yelp
Had lunch with a member, bartender mixed the best manhattan I've ever had, wine aged in burbon barrels (yes, wine), along with the rest of the traditional ingredients. Fantastic drink!

Yelp
This place is trendy, clean, well organized and they have great drinks and menu items. I'd say they are a little on the pricey side but if you are having a business meeting you'd definitely impress. I've only sat at the bar or one of the tables near the bar but they have comfy couch spaces and even private office spaces.

Yelp
One of our absolute favorite places! The food is spectacular and the service spot on. The filet is one of the best I've had. Intimate, cool, friendly hangout with excellent staff! I had a private business meeting here and the two business owners were blown away by the place. They are constantly offering great events that pull in top presenters and speakers. We are proud to be members and get by as often as we can with our busy travel schedules. Another Phil Romano homerun!

Yelp
This was literally one of the saddest places I've ever been. Wall to wall self important pretentious wanna be's. Not only was the crowd sad but the service was atrocious combined with servers with bad attitudes. Yea, that's about it. I expected more from Phil.

Yelp
Great idea with poor & confusing execution. I am a member and this was pitched to me as an incubator where a variety of people had access for networking, socializing, etc. At the beginning, this was somewhat true. However, it has morphed into a private version of Nick and Sams. The best example of this is when they got rid of the pool tables and rolled in white linen dining tables. So, you pay $1,500 a year to get access to a fledgling restaurant, and pay prices equivalent to the hottest places in town. The food is good but you can't take someone there for lunch for less than $20 a person with $15 drinks. I was excited for what this could have been, but save your money because it's just going to finance a private bar for the well to-do.

Yelp
Was here for a private event (charity) that invited potential donors that are not members. Was made to leave for not adhering to a dress code that was not published or made known to the guests of the private party. Yet saw other actual members that did not fit such "dress code". Apparently you can wear jeans, T-shirt and tennis shoes but if you shoe up in a dress shirt and boots but wearing a ball cap you will be asked to leave. And when tried to discuss situation with general manager, another employee went to get a police officer who was told there was an unruly customer who wouldn't leave. Way to sell a potential member. Do not recommend. Overpriced memberships to hang out with dudes in jeans, T-shirt's and sneakers. No thanks, I can do that at the gym.

Yelp
The food is extremely over priced for the quality. Service in the lounge areas is non existent. There is a blonde that I think works there. Talk about a bar fly. It won't go away. The membership fee is reasonable and the works space is good. The service and food just suck.

Yelp
I love The Network Bar and the Trinity Groves area! Such an awesome concept for young professionals to meet in a fun, vibrant setting and exchange ideas and contacts! I work in sales and have made some great contacts and friends through The Network Bar! Also, with the Trinity River project this network is going to be the most coveted group in Dallas! I was bummed to miss the last event but will definitely be attending the next one!

Ashley K.

Yelp
I came here for a meeting while I was in town and although I am not a member, they sure made me feel like one! The staff knew everyone's name and were so helpful and friendly. The service was excellent and so was the food! We ordered a bottle of red for the table and it was delish. I wish my city had a place like the Network Bar!

Yelp
This place carries out a wonderfully thought out concept- a social hub for professionals of all ages that includes office spaces for meetings, a bar and comfortable lounge area, quality food in a dining area, exclusive speaker events, and much more. I went in on a Thursday night and the vibe was nice- dark, not too loud, comfortable chairs, and proved to be a good place to carry out an hour long conversation. My favorite part about the place is their app. First of all, the app controls access to the main door, which is cool idea- getting access in by simply pressing a button on your phone. The app shows you who all is in the bar, what type of business they're in, and a little about the person, so you know who to network with in the room. The app also allows you to notify staff of any creepy members that make you feel uncomfortable, which I think is a genius feature for any bar. If you are a professional in the DFW area trying to find a job, investing in a membership here is a great way to start (their prices are not too bad).

Yelp
I love to visit The Network Bar every time I am in Dallas. The atmosphere is amazing with lots of comfortable seating. It is a great place to network, get some work done, have a great meal or just enjoy a glass of wine. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I hope that they open a Network Bar in Denver soon so that I can go even more often!
