Two points: •Review if you're here to see restaurants/experiences ▪︎Review if you're here for concerts or shows 1) This place offers a great range of restaurants and the food is always fantastic wherever you go. Most restaurants you find here are unfortunately on the more expensive side. It offers interesting experiences for kids such as climbing activities (they are not free though), there's an arcade aswell and a cinema. This is a perfect place If you're looking to do birthdays. The shops are all expensive though but they are high quality shops. No shops for kids or groceries if you're looking for that. 2) If you're here for concerts or shows, the o2 shopping outlet and the outside of the building play music from the artist that is performing which really builds up a nice mood. There are billboards everywhere showing the currently performing or upcoming artist(s) so it's a great place to take pictures. There are MANY official merchandise shops inside and outside the building, and some of them open at different times, so if something gets sold out you can still try to get it later! Inside after ticket check they have multiple bars and food corners to buy something if you need to - multiple toilets, and the staff are very helpful in finding your seats before you even enter the arena. The seats are decent and comfortable- they also fold if you have to stand up to let someone through- for the pit it depends on the artist, but sometimes there are chairs and sometimes not. There is also the experience to climb the roof of the o2, but unfortunately I have no experience on it, but it does exist!

We came for the last night of Peter Kay. A brilliant show. It's a super venue - we passed through security and ticket checks easily. We had seats in a box 112 which was really good. The bar staff friendly, seats well located and comfy. Great view. Easy to exit the venue - large queues for the underground- but they moved fairly quickly.

The show was fab... from beginning to end. Great food, complimentary glass of fizz to start with. We were sat at the very top which was a little disappointing. We had hoped our tickets were for the middle section, but we still had a fab time, dancing along to the songs!

Google
This is a great location for concerts, food, entertainment and shopping. The cable car is a must, such fun and great views. I would also recommend the walk over the 02, again a fabulous experience. There is just so much going on. One word of warning if you attend a concert or large event, allow extra time at the tube station, is does get very overcrowded quickly and is subject to closure at times for safety.

Google
I visited the O2 to engage in a birthday activity but also spent some time wandering round the venue. I enjoyed the atmosphere and wandering round the shops on offer. The shops are what you would find in a standard retail outlet. I did not visit any of the food outlets but there are a vast number of options on offer. It was clean and well ventilated. There was also good disabled access.

Google
Traveled here from mid Essex area for my first ever solo concert. Saw Sam fender and wonder horse. The show was brilliant and the staff were really helpful with showing me where my seat was. There’s various concessions throughout and even phone charging facilities. Happy to say I’d 100% go again. I would recommend that you try to leave your shows a little earlier as it gets incredibly busy while leaving both on tube train and in the building itself.

Google
Really great venue for coming to watch sports. I came here to see the tennis a few years ago and it was easy to see what was happening even with seats close to the back. The security and admission process was efficient and friendly.

I really love this venue. It combines so many excellent things... Restaurants, shopping, mobile service, and a massive venue with excellent acoustics. Pretty much anything you could ask for under one roof.

Yelp
Went to kylie concert again have seen every tour every show here. love the O2 its fantastic great event great sound etc. the merch store outside of o2 was open so i thought id get my merch in case they run out of sizes or longer line inside. the guy i got was most miserable unfriendly unprofessional person EVER. i bought tons of merch $400 and he was so pathetic told me could only give each person one bag. obviously you cant fit all that in one SMALL BAG. is there some idiot at O2 being cheap i know its not kylie. so i said ill buy the kylie bag and he said he couldnt sell bags either. you cant give paying customers bags and you cant sell the bag on the wall for sale?WHAT IS GOING ON? jerk i asked for manager he said he was it. THIS GUY WAS DISGUSTING or maybe racist or maybe just pathetic loser. meanwhile inside the merch booths gave me bags and sold bags no problem so what is the issue with this jerk outside. was disgusting. the show as perfect tour is amazing kylie shows are the bests just gross you have to deal with morons and jerks after spending money to get to a concert. inside of course were drunk obvoxious guys drinking and beiing loud and dancing crazy all over place just out of control. how can you watch a show with a trainwreck riot going on next to you. its just vile. he went to leave probably to get another drink to be more drunk yeah miss the show to go drink. i moved forward so he wouldnt block my camera and he had big attitude about that what difference is it do you just want to ruin my shots? IDIOT he came back with drinks and tried to pass again i moved forward this lowlife passed his drink in front of my camera to purposely ruin my shots. what a jerk never had that happen ever in 10000s of concerts. complete idiot. then after show and kylie was done i told him what a jerk he was and he called me a racist. i guess he was black i dont know yeah im a racist cause i dont want you ruining my photos after coming from la and spedning a fortune on shows. most pathetic person ever. its okay for you to be loud drink act stupid act like a manaic but if someone doesnt let you ruin their photos omg these people ruin shows he was disgusting. regardless kylie was amazing and its just sad what you have to deal with these people to go to a concert. the merch jerk and these drunks were disgusting but i guess in a venue of 20,000 there will be those losers. also when you leave concert to go tube they have barricades so you cant go around but your in a huge smashed crowd of people and meanwhile i saw so many people going to front all way and just moving barricade to go inside. so your system screws people over and lets idiots do what they want. again whoever the management is needs to reevaluate their employees and treatment of paying guests.

Yelp
I have to say that I absolutely hate the O2, namely because you basically can't go outside once you find yourself inside. Sure, it is huge, but that is pretty much about it. Mind you, as a concert venue, and what is on offer, is absolutely mindblowing, especially like there are stalls that simply offer sweets. However the beer options were limited, and the fact that they don't give you pass outs absolutely sucks.

Yelp
The O2 arena experience is great. Huge variety of food options from all around the world and a wide variety of activities, something for everyone. It's free to come in and walk around and even just that makes it worth it. I was surprised at all the different places to eat, shopping and things to do. Indoor sky diving, bowling, arcade, outlet shopping, and of course the climb to the top to name just a few things. I ate at the Afrikana and did the O2 dome climb.

Yelp
I'm very impressed with this facility which holds about 21,000 people. It is one of the most popular music venues in the world behind Madison Square Garden and Wembley. It has many restaurants on the grounds and very clean and modern. I went to see a sporting event and had a great experience and excellent seats. I can see why this place is so popular.

Yelp
Superb afternoon adventure So many great Shope's, foodie and drinkie places! Spent a afternoon here wandering the shops and sampling the variety of beverage and food options. Great place to bring the fam too. Lots to do and the walking is fab. Will have to come back and sample more! Oh and take the Emirates Sky Line. Great way to see all round the Thames and Millennium park plus the docklands too!

Yelp
I came here last week to see Kiss on their farewell tour, the arena is a really good size, can see even from up higher in the top seats. The staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of places to eat inside as well and lots of stores.

Yelp
Beautiful! I went here at least multiple times to the O2 and its stunning! The only thing i would complain about here is the prices, but what do you expect? It's a popular tourist attraction anyway.. The food is absolutely delicious and mouth-watering! The service is fine, just like any other but the O2 is just such an amazing place. I would definitely recommend you to go there!

Yelp
PETER KAY O2 ARENA PETER KAY SUNDAY 2ND JUNE 2024 THE WORST CONCERT / SHOW EXPERIENCE EVER I would like to point out that this is a review of the venue and not about the show which was excellent. I have attended so many concerts around the world that I have lost count. However, this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. PLEASE READ THIS IF YOU ARE ATTENDING THE O2 ARENA FOR THE FIRST TIME. IF YOU HAVE BEEN BEFORE, WHY? 1. We travelled to the venue by tube from Central London which was excellent. So I cannot comment on the car parking situation. AND THEN THE PROBLEMS BEGIN 2. We have O2 priority, so approached the gate (Entrance B), while queuing we attempting to retrieve our tickets (QR code) on our mobile phones. We tried both the O2 venues wi-fi and mobile data but nothing would work. We asked at the gate and they said that they were having problems and we would have to go back outside to collect our tickets from the box office. Fortunately, we had been forewarned that this often happens, so we had taken a printed copy of our purchase as proof. So, now with tickets in hand we queued again. 3. Once past the ticket check we moved onto THE BAG SEARCH. We were OK but the couple in front of us had two packets of sweets confiscated. Of course you can repurchase them at inflated prices once inside! NOTE - CONCEAL THEM OR LOOSE THEM. 4. Once we had negotiated, check-in, bag search, been through the scanner and had the full strip search, we were asked if we would like to go directly to our seats or visit the O2 Blueroom? We requested the O2 Blueroom as we had downloaded the 20% off drinks discount for Priority Members. "Sorry, Sir, the O2 Blueroom is currently full but there are plenty of bars upstairs" was the reply. WHAT HE FAILED TO MENTION IS THAT THE 20% DISCOUNT DOES NOT APPLY TO THE OTHER BARS! "Two small bottles of water, please." "Yes, Sir, that will be £3.00 each and I have to remove the tops" "That's OK, but can I have the tops so that I do not spill any of this 'liquid gold' on the way to our seats?" "No, sorry, that is not allowed." "What? Why?" "It's the rules!" 5. After carefully negotiating the steep stairs down to the rear of the stalls and managing to keep our 'liquid gold' filled bottles intact we were shown to our seats. We had fantastic seats just to the left of the stage in Block A1 (stalls), so as you can imagine NOT CHEAP! But guess what? Nowhere to store your bottles of 'liquid gold' so you end up either having to drink it or hold it! 6. The show begins, excellent, but do not dare attempt to photograph / record Mr Kay or the 'GESTAPO' patrolling the stall area will intervene and they are not that polite! NOTE - THE NUMBER OF GUARDS ON PATROL INCREASE SIGNIFICANTLY AS THE SHOW REACHES ITS FINALE, SO MUCH SO IT MAKES YOU FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE! WHY DOES MR KAY VALUE HIS IMAGE RIGHTS SO MUCH THAT YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE PICTURES? SUMMARY I WILL NEVER (REGARDLESS OF WHO IS APPEARING) SEE A SHOW AT THE O2 ARENA AGAIN. TOTAL RIP OFF WITH EXTREMELY RUDE SECURITY STAFF.

Yelp
Astonishing experience during the Laver cup 2022, the staff were very friendly and accommodating towards the tennis match. It's easy to get there just by taking the jubilee line train. It's very easy to get around in there, if there is anything you need you can ask the staff. I like how the monument of the o2 is made especially with the yellow poles in the roof , it makes it stand out to different monuments. The ambiance is very friendly, barely any crime happens in there, I personally enjoy being in there .

Yelp
Excellent place to visit for varied entertainment. Movies, Japanese, American... there's a five guys here as well The Brazilian restaurant is a must for meat lovers.

Yelp
This place is massive and has a literal restaurant alley... Not like a few concession stands or walk up windows, full on, sit down restaurants with an entire waitstaff. Live music, food, and drinks all within 100ft, party time! The O2 is attached to the London Underground which makes it easy to get to and from the venue, so you don't have drive. This place is also located right off the river, so weather can change from cold, to rainy, and back to cold so bundle up! I came here for the, "My Name Is Prince" exhibit which took place in the green room and back areas of the O2. In fact part of the exhibit, was set up like an exact replica of Prince's normal backstage lounge, fully equipped with satin curtains, burning incense, and Prince's full tour closet with all of his actual clothes still in them. I was even able to hold one of his guitars that he actually played, it was amazing! This exhibit has since ended, but is supposedly coming to the states soon. Never been here? Make some plans and get here soon!

Yelp
A very impressive space. I attended for a conference and was impressed with the arena. Plenty of food options line the outer ring of the arena, and a small portion is actually a mall with some options for shopping. There are so many choices, but I'd avoid the place with Slug in the name. Can someone explain this to an American? I would never go a restaurant with the word slug in the name. Starbucks in the main entryway is a very busy place, but was my morning routine while attending the conference. Inside the arena proper, you have a variety of seating areas. The 100 levels have relatively large seats with plenty of legroom. I was actually surprised by how comfortable I was in these areas. Up higher in the 400s, you'll have less space, but great views. Be careful standing up, especially if you have problems with vertigo. I didn't enjoy the upper levels, and mostly remained seated during sessions when I was seated up top. There is a clear security presence in the arena during events, and I am thankful that these people are alert and aware. Outside the arena, there are also many shops and space for walking. It made for nice breaks in between sessions. Easy to get to on the jubilee line, you won't have a problem getting in or out of the arena area.

Adele J.

Yelp
Unfortunately the 02 use Viagogo to sell their tickets. Reviews for this company on Google really speak for themselves. And from the seats we were given the audience stood throughout and we saw very little of the show and so ultimately decided to leave before the end.

Ryan H.

Yelp
I visited the O2 arena to watch a concert and was assaulted by a group of the security team. Whilst finding my seat in the area, I accidentally missed a step and fell over. A member of the security team immediately dragged me out of the arena because the fall had made me a 'security threat' to other spectators. Another 5 security team members then felt the need to forcibly carry me through the arena and outside, severely bruising my whole body during the process and at no point did I resist any of this. Once outside, the security team continued to throw me onto the ground outside, splitting my eyebrow open and leaving me with a permanent scar on my face. The ejection and the way I was treated was completely unnecessary and brutal. I have emailed the o2 to which their reply was: I am so sorry if you feel as though you were wrongfully ejected but our security team had concluded that your ejection was appropriate and lawful and so unfortunately, there isn't anything I can do to assist further on this occasion.

Yelp
The O2 Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena mainly used for live performances from some of the worlds biggest names and is London's flagship arena of that sort - served by the North Greenwich Underground Station which has Emirates Air Line Services and is also on the Jubilee Line if you want the more conventional way of London travel. It's the second-largest indoor venue by seating capacity in the UK after the Manchester Arena - but by comparison, this is much better. Unlike Manchester, this was also involved in the 2012 Olympic Games in London when it was known as North Greenwich Arena, due to sponsorship regulations. Parts of The O2 remind me of the Manchester Printworks, you walk in and there are multiple shops, restaurants and cafes - on the lower floor you have a flagship new concept O2 store who sponsor the arena as well as most restauraunt chains from Caffe Rouge (outside the arena), Ask Italian, Nando's, Gourmet Burger Kitchen as well as others including Starbucks - the upper floor and towards the Arena entrance includes brands such as Adidas, Nike, Whittard and Paperchase in the Icon Outlet. You really can come here in the early afternoon and spend the whole da here - perhaps shopping in the Outlet, dining in the restaurants, a coffee at Starbucks and then going to the Cineworld Cinema or watching your favourite artist perform - the inside arena is restricted and it is a shame they don't allow you to take any food and drink in, and bags are restricted as it means having to buy overpriced food inside which is a much more restrictive selection - do bear in mind if you're visiting here on the same day as an event or concert then restaurants don't allow vouchers meaning they cost much more than if you dined elsewhere in London, so if you can allow time do try getting off the tube one stop before/after at Canary Wharf who has most of the same restaurants in the shopping malls (Jubilee Place) built into the tube station complex. The world's biggest arena by concert sales even ahead of the UK's largest arena in terms of capacity, Manchester Arena and the hugely famous Madison Square Garden of NYC really is a solid place - yet it is let down by being smaller than what it looks and probably could sell (security or construction regulations), other regulations with food/drink/bags and it being overpriced by London standards do let it down, but still it is one of the best Arena's I've visited and warrants four-stars.

Yelp
What a place and what a building its so unique and used for so many different things I've had some of the best nights of my life being inside the O2 I've met some fantastic people also some fantastic staff that work there who were very polite and helpful.

Yelp
Good atmosphere and neat. I really love the atmosphere. Good workers. It's the only neat place in London.

Yelp
The 02 is "Breathtaking" and "O So Amazing!" We were here for the #nittoatpfinals and had an opportunity to experience this venue. From the arena to the shops to the restaurants to the cinema to the climbing experience, this place has it all. And.....I think I ate the biggest hotdog I have ever had loaded with steak and chili and cheese during the match! If you are able to get here for an event make sure you give yourself enough time to enjoy this fabulous entertainment experience. At the 02 Store, my son had an opportunity to experience virtual reality tennis. It was funny to watch him and the other kids, who think they are great gamers, look silly while playing this game. Since the weather wasn't nice today, spending the day indoors was perfectly fine and super fun.

Yelp
Recently saw The 1975 at the O2. Nice interior seating arrangements. Good view of the stage (I was in section 104). It's nice inside. Only downfall is that it is a bit out of the way. **

Yelp
Amazing and fun grate place cool and nice atmosphere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yelp
The O2 charged me a staggering £10 at the bag drop. They have implemented a new "safety" policy where any bag over an A4 format will have to be dropped to the bag drop. I have complained online, requesting a £10 voucher, but the O2 has declined my request. This charge is absolutely outrageous as far as the regular customer that I am is concerned, especially in a context where the inflation rate is over 9%. When you've purchased expensive tickets, I'd expect bag drop to be free, or £1 to 3, at the very least. Disgusted

Yelp
One of the set pieces of London's fab skyline, you might have seen the O2 when it was still "The Millennium Dome" in the pre-title sequence of The World Is Not Enough where Pierce Brosnan lands on it after falling from a hot air balloon. It is located on the Greenwich Peninsula and is accessed easily from North Greenwich station on the Jubilee Line or from a Thames Clipper. Nowadays, the O2 is an entertainment complex with a cinema, concert hall, restaurants and nightclubs. At the moment, it is home to the British Music Experience and the Titanic exhibition. The O2 Arena seats up to 20,000 and has been used for large stadium-sized concerts and sporting events. There is also a smaller club-style venue, the IndigO2. It's going to be hosting several of the Olympic games too. It is the largest dome of its type in the world. There are 12 support towers (12 hours on a clock face), 365 meters in diameter (one for every day of the year) and 52 meters tall (one for every week of the year). The roof itself is apparently lighter than the weight of the air underneath. From the air, you simply can not miss it. Once inside, it's bigger than you would think.

Yelp
I recently traveled with my fiancee to London from New York to see the Monty Python Live reunion show, which was playing at the O2. Usually when I'm seeing a live performance the most thought I put into the actual venue is finding the address so that I get to the correct place. Luckily, the O2 was actually a very nice arena and made the absolutely amazing show a bit nicer experience. The O2 has its own subway station, which made traveling here quite easy. There are multitudes of other things in the area, including movie theaters, restaurants, and you can even climb up the side of the arena (for a nominal fee of course). Pedestrian traffic in and out of the arena was fairly brisk considering how many people were there and the all of the staff we encountered were quite friendly. The prices for food and drinks inside were high, but that's universally seen at any sports arena or theater. I will say that their idea of nachos was pitifully bad - mealy chips with a watery "cheese" is just pathetic, but I should have known better since I was in London and not the States. All in all, it's a pretty good venue and I would definitely see another live performace there if I'm ever in the area again.

Yelp
I came to to see The X Factor Live Tour yesterday and it was amazing! The O2 is a pretty decent venue as well. We got there pretty early as we wanted to avoid the pre-show rush, but it was still busy! We were still super early, so we popped into Cabana for dinner which was really good. It's like the Brazilian version of Nando's! To get into the actual arena, you have to go through a security check where they will take your food off you. There is a sign up saying "no food or drink past this point" but when you get into the waiting room, they are flogging popcorn and ice cream at £4 a pop! The show was really great - Saara Aalto wowed with her crazy balloon set-up and Honey G was hilarious! I recorded a little bit of every act which was a good idea as everyone was different! There was a good crowd but there were still quite a few empty seats in some blocks. If you are going to use the toilet, go before the show starts as the queues were pretty long at the interval and at the end! I did like the O2 but it was extremely expensive, for example, I wanted to buy a programme but they were £10!!!

Leslie M.

Yelp
I bought 4 tickets to every session of the Laver Cup 2022 held at the O2 from AXS tickets. My family could not go, so we resold the tickets over the AXS website as required which limited the price to 10 % over face value and AXS took a percentage of the sale. All tickets were purchased for about 7,000K GBP. AXS kept all my money until 2 weeks after the event happened and then paid me only 1,600 GBP. They owe me over 5,000 GBP! I have called and "chatted" many times and they hang up on me after they learn my problem. Today they told me to wait because they have so many "resales" from the event, they cant pay me! AXS is a HUGE company, handling all tickets throughout the country. They cannot treat the little guy like this. DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM AXS. THEY ARE DISREPUTABLE.

Yelp
This is a great venue, absolutely no doubt. Easy to get to, easy to get out of and in spite of the huge size only the very top tier seats have 'unacceptable' views. The food and drink concessions however, are ridiculously expensive and I totally disagree with the policy of confiscating food and drink items on entry. If you insist on doing that, make the prices more reasonable inside (especially for parents with children) My rating is based on the overall opinion on the O2.

Yelp
One of the best venues to be at, cinema Riverside and many places to eat. A place for singles, couples and whole families. There is something to cater for any need.

Yelp
If you say hi, I will say hi as well. If you say let's make out, I will say let's make out, too. And if you scream "oh" during the inevitable intimate bedroom encounter that transpires, I will scream O2. In that sense, this stadium is very personal to me. I've been here when it first opened as the Millennium and then more recently as the O2 and I must say that it's a much better use of it these days. They could have done so much else with it, but anyway... the sheer visual spectacle of seeing this thing on the river banks is unmatched. And then of course it was in The World Is Not Enough to great effect. So it has to score 5. And in terms of personal experience, yes, I've been inside on several occasions and have plenty of pictures.

Yelp
Up at the O2 is a new experience that seeks to get that extra bit of value from having such an iconic building. You can practically imagine how this idea was bandied around in meetings till they settled on the idea that it would be a great idea to let people climb over the "white elephant". The climb nearly didn't happen for our group because of the wine. Note, if the wind is above 40 mph, then they halt all upcoming walks until the wind level drops to a level below 35 mph. It's a bit of a silly system, as wind for one constantly changes. One minute it will be 50, then a few minutes later, into the low 20s, then back up. I'm sure when we actually started the walk, the wind MUST have hit above 35mph, but they're for sure won't walk you down when you're already a third of the way up. :/. What it DID do however was delay our walk so we just missed sunset on our "sunset climb":(. So a suggestion, if planning to do the sunset climb. Don't book the "sunset climb", book one or two sessions before that. You'll spend a good 30 minutes or so at the top, so you're sure to hit sunset by the time you're at the top. Anyway, you're first taken to a briefing room, where you're shown a humorous video about safety and how the event will plan out. After this you head to the room next door to get all your gear on. You end up looking (and feeling) like an astronaut. Then it's up and outside to start the climb. The climb to the top takes around 15-20 minutes. It can get quite windy up there, but the line is super secure with no risk to you. I like the fact that the platform you walk up is bouncy. Almost like it's trying to replicate what you imagine it should feel like to walk over a great big tarp. But importantly has the important function of reducing the amount of weight upon the actual O2 structure. At the top, you realise the O2 isn't really that high. But it's fine because the views are great. Particularly over toward Canary Wharf. They even let you take your mobile with you to take pictures, safely stored in a arm pouch on your suit. It was very cold so the suits given were extremely welcome, but on a warmer day, I'm sure it would get quite hot inside them. So for sure, only have a t shirt on. You'll probably regret anything thicker. So in all, it's a good experience and one to tick off the bucket list. I didn't love it that much that I would outwardly recommend it to others, but I would say it's one of those to do if you're already thinking of it. It isn't cheap however at peak times, so if you can try to do it on a weekday.

Yelp
This place is pretty special. First of all the O2 is the best reincarnation we've yet seen for the beforehand ill-fated Millennium Dome. The O2 is fast becoming London's première music venue. The line ups for gig's can simply be described as the best you will ever see. It is the home for super club Matter, and some of the best exhibitions in the world have graced this architectural wonder. There is a cinema and a multitude of mid-range restaurants and eateries to keep you topped up before a gig. Due to the sheer size, it is almost impossible for the place to hold a buzzy atmosphere. Yet once you enter one of the many attractions, there is certainly fun to be found.

Yelp
We stayed not far from The O2 and on our way home at night, we wanted to go for a movie. The nearest Cineworld was at this place. It was my first time at The O2 as I never get to come around here when in London. I thought it was just the arena. I was surprised to find out it's a shopping centre. Not just one or two shops but lots of shops and restaurants. We got the last screening at the cinema as the one before was booked out. Had about an hour to spare. Decided to go for a meal. Looking around for places to eat and most were closing down. Las Iguanas was still opened for another hour or less. Ate there. Ofcourse the famous O2 arena is in there and it's one of the big entertainment venue in London. Lots of big concerts and other shows take place here. It is one of the biggest arenas. I would love to go see a show here next time I go.

Yelp
It's hard to write a review of this place, as it depends when you go there as to whether its any good. Go there for a concert and its fantastic watching the gig but there are too many people so you end up queuing for all your food and what's available within the arena is pretty poor. Go there at any other time and its a bit dead but all the restaurants are empty and it's easy to do what you want. It has a good Cineworld cinema, plenty of parking (which can be pricey) and is quite a pleasant place to be... But the biggest problem is it lacks decent independent restaurants and shops. The usual chains are there and there are some less well-known names but they all serve pretty rubbish fare... So I've given the place a neutral 3 stars!

Yelp
The o2 Centre is one of London's leading events centres. Everyone from Celine Dion to Kings of Leon have played the stage in the massive stadium situated in Greenwich. The last time I was here for the Kylie Minogue tour, and boy was it great. Thanks to some friends we had a box, fully catered for and with a prime spot to view the show. The staff in the box were great - serving Grey Goose cocktails and even taking icecream orders at interval. The box itself was plush and lovely, with vases of flowers, couches and great seats on the balcony from which to watch the show. The centre itself is quite stunning, with the entrance to o2 under big light installations and neon lighting. A must-see to view any big-name concert!

Yelp
Been here so many times and always in awe with everyone's concerts and acts. Today here for Olly Murs (a little gift for my nieces) and yet again I have had so much fun and come out thinking I like Olly Murs as he's great on stage and well cheeky. Food is over priced in the arena but expected. Try to go to one of the lovely restaurants before a concert it'll be better for your wallet and to your taste.

Yelp
The O2, formally known as the Millennium Dome is the place to be if you're in North Greenwich. There's so much to do there, whether you're looking for food in the numerous restaurants, or going to see the latest film in the VUE cinema. If you're on the O2 phone network you get fast free O2 WiFi and some people (with supporting phones) get 4G LTE. They are currently in the process of building a designer fashion outlet.

Yelp
I visited recently for the Tutankhamun exhibition. As such I haven't got to see the main arena space. However I did get to see the cinema and part of the 'street' that goes round the outside. It's an amazing building. There's loads of cafes of all types. It did seem a little short on loos (though I guess there are loads of them in the individual parts), and we only spotted one shop that wasn't a café. Still it's a great place to wander around among the artificial trees and 'street life'. There's 'installations' to look at, and a place where you can make your own dance video for free. The open area outside on the way back to the tube station is also worth exploring. It doesn't look much, but look closer. There's a water wall, and the Greenwich Meridian cuts through, so you can get your piccy taken on that. At time of writing there was a display relating to the local area, which I didn't get time to look at, and a huge statue of Anubis for the Egyptian exhibition.

Yelp
Was lucky enough to pop down to the O2 to see the one and only FLEETWOOD MAC!! The venue was great, everything you need from restaurants to bars. It's always a great idea to pop into a bar grab a few cheeky drinks then head to a gig. It was very vibrant and great experience. The bars range from All bar one, Slug and Lettuce. You also have the chance to climb up the O2 unfortunately I was too pissed to do so, but definitely something exciting to try in the day. Might I add, I throughly enjoyed Fleetwood Mac, definitely one of my favourite concerts.

Yelp
We came here to see Star Wars in Concert at the O2 Arena on Saturday - it was fantastic! I knew that there were loads of disruptions on the tube over the weekend so we caught the 188 bus at Waterloo which took us (the very long way round) here - it took about an hour. Had to get a replacement bus service to some station somewhere on the way back so that took a lot longer - bit confusing if you're not used to transport in London but we made it : ) Anyway, great venue - massive, spacious, staffed by helpful enough people. Plenty of toilets, although there were still long queues. What really got me mad were the drinks prices though. I know you expect to pay more somewhere like this, but £4.50 for a tiny bottle of cider? So I had to get 2 each time, in a pint glass, so between 2 of us we spent over £30 on drinks. For a 2 hour show. Which I think is ridiculous.

Yelp
This place was the entire reason for my somewhat eventful trip to London, I was there on business and was to attend a global conference on door handles. The 6 hour lecture was the highlight of my trip, absolutely thrilling, every minute of it. As for the rest of the place, considering the name, I was disappointed to find there was a terrible atmosphere.

Yelp
We visited the O2 for dinner midweek, and were surprised by how few people were around. It had quite a few restaurants within and right around the O2, such as Italian, American, Japanese, and Brazilian Barbecue (just to name a few), and also has as nice movie theatre inside. We also wandered into the free Nissan Innovation Station. This allowed you to play a video-game like simulator on a race track, sit in s wheelchair and simulate being an Olympian athlete, and sit in a real Leaf car while simulating driving. There were also additional displays that clue be played with, and though it obviously was a sales-like display for Nissan, it didn't feel overly so.

Yelp
Came to see Muse Drones World Tour on the 15 April 2016 This was the best night of my life. I liked the whole experience so much I am writing this at 23:29, roughly 40 minute after the end of the show. The O2 has a multitude of restaurants just outside of the venue, that fit every type of budget. The venue itself is magnificent, modern and extremely clean. The temperature inside is perfect and refreshing. Lighting is warm and pleasant. After queuing, we were inspected at the entrance (bag was briefly searched and we were patted security style). I guess this type of security followed Paris attacks, as I remember at a previous Muse concert only my bag got briefly searched. The security staff was very friendly and accommodating. When entering the concert venue, we were pleased to see the stage across the venue (which I think it is not the case and has been specially arranged for Muse). Throughout the concert this type of configuration allowed the standing and seated public to enjoy a closer look and feel to the band. And I was even able to touch all three members of the band! (My excitement is beyond the written word...). The staff was incredibly nice, handing cups of fresh water to the standing public, making jokes and smiling at us. They were also very "serious" when it came to checking on people who were pushing on the back and who stopped immediately. They were super nice. The acoustic were fantastic and the light and special effects were INCREDIBLE. It is renowned that Muse has the craziest live shows and I can agree for the second time that it was the case. There were drones, a giant floating space ship, giant balloons thrown at the crowd to play with, paper man shot in the air and lots of light. I absolutely loved it. As I read on the previous comments the toilets were considered an issue. I thought so too when I saw a monstrous line for the females, but it was just matter of 3/4 minutes and I was also able to access the powder room. So pretty impressed by the efficiency. The only negative point I have is the price-to-taste ratio of food sold inside the concert venue. We got 2 beers and a hotdog with chips for 25£, which is so incredibly expensive that I think only the adrenaline of the moment made us accept this price. Beers were ok, but the hotdog was just typical boring school canteen food and the chips were quite oily. For 25£ try to wait until the concert is over and eat just outside. Overall, I recommend this venue. However I also thinks it comes up to who is playing and how are you positioned inside the venue. Muse was just amazing.

Yelp
I'm digging this arena. Because it's still new-ish, it is spanking clean and well organised from getting your tickets to finding some food & drink while you wait. The staff here are super friendly & helpful. This should not be taken for granted because there are other venues in & around London where the staff defo need a basic course in manners. Well lit, sign posted and even though there are heaps of facilities and people mingling to & fro, you are not on-top-of each other in here. The toilet stalls inside the arena need a little freshening but otherwise, a-ok. Seating in the arena is comfy, although if you are like any other audience member for concerts, you do tend to stand & vibe on the music. Easy to find your seat sections too. Yeah, the 02 is a breath of fresh air as far as music venues go.

Yelp
Ahhh The O2, what a turn out. It was like watching your child turn from a spotty teenager into a dully fledged adult. The Millennium Dome... was, erm... Special. After a year we all sat there thinking, "what the frig are they going to turn this monstrosity into?" and finally there was a result. I've been here a few times, for gigs, exhibitions, to go clubbing. It's like the shopping mall of life. Now you might all wonder why I am giving this dome of commercialism a full five stars, well here it is: All Under One Roof. Yup, it's that simple, everything is here in one place, the cinema, the BME, a selection of satisfactory food chains, a huge arena. Not only that but it's in the middle of nowhere but they have made transport as easy as possible. They even have fountains outside. This place is still terrifying. It's huge and it's easy to get lost in but the facilitates are unbeatable. If there is something you want to see here, go, you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Well done Mr. O2 for turning a White (dome-shaped) Elephant into a top arena! I must say, I hate the "village" aspect of the O2 with the silly, overpriced bars and restaurants. But the actual arena is wonderful. One of the better barns for acoustics, the O2 Arena possesses a decent clarity, even when I have sat in areas that normally sound woolly and inarticulate in other large venues. The rake and angle of seats are very conducive to having a decent view of the stage. My preference is having the stage set "in the round" as it was when Prince Nelson was hanging out there. Last night I went to see Norwegian-black-and-white-cartoon-characters, a-ha. It was a surprisingly good gig, especially as you get what you pay for. And I paid nothing. The gig itself labored a little in the middle, due to the fact that 10,000 people and I did not know any of the songs between "The Nun Always Climbs on T.V.s" and "Cryyyyy Wooooooolf (Wooooo-oooooo)". They had me won back again, especially with "The Living Daylights", but that's because I like Timothy Dalton as Bond. He had the best Aston. But was Welsh. And had a dent in his chin. Another treat last night was the corporate hospitality. Having a room to relax in before the gig is always nice, but having waitress service, free bar and full meal makes me begrudge having to resume watching gigs like a serf. The only fly in the ointment is using the Jubilee line after a gig - you are herded like an animal to the station and cram onto a tube if you are lucky to get one. And woe betide you staying a little late and missing the last train. The last time that happened, my then-girlfriend and I were so pissed off with each other that it ended the relationship. Either that, or the Ann Widdecombe impersonator with the large glasses and Red Piano that we had watched perform that night had poisoned our young and impressionable minds. Each explanation is plausible.

Yelp
Awesome! Epic venue. Get there early and explore!-- The O2 has so much to offer. My husband and I were on vacation in London, visiting from Hawaii, and had the good fortune to see Robert Plant and Van Morrison at there 3 months ago. They put on a amazing show, the acoustics excellent!! Got our tickets last minute on Viagogo and scored floor seats. Loved this venue. Highly recommend!

Yelp
As the crow flies, I live just over a mile from the 02, and it has become a regular destination - mainly for the Vue cinema (which has several auditoria, including one reputed to be the biggest in London), and maybe to eat in one of the many restaurants built around the periphery of the Arena (Pizza Express, Thai Silk, etc). Be warned, though, there are no cheap places to eat. There are a couple of large bars (including a Slug & Lettuce), coffee shops, an 02 shop (naturally), a news-agent, and - at busy times - a few free-standing stalls selling expensive nick-nacks. When there's a big event in the Arena, it can get very crowded and queues for the restaurants quickly build up, so it pays to arrive early if you want to eat before going to the event. If you are planning a cinema trip, it might also be worth checking what's on in the 02 before you travel - I went once when Cliff Richard was on - couldn't move for grey-haired Cliff fans! Be careful to check if you are driving as the carparks can be extortionately expensive (Vue cinema ticket holders, however, can get their parking for free). It may be better to park locally and get a bus up to North Greenwich (remember your Oystercards). Along from the restaurants are a couple of large open areas that are used to house other more temporary visitor attractions. Over the past three years, there's been a skating rink (2007), a ski slope (2008) and Carter's Steam fun-fair in the winter (almost deserted on Christmas Eve 2009, but also expensive - and some of the operators.... well, let's just say they weren't full of the Christmas Spirit!). A roller disco and an indoor beach have livened up the past two summers.
