The Oak Room Whiskey and Tequila Bar

The Service was Outstanding! Our Server was so friendly, knowledgeable and fast. We were there for my Granddaughters graduation and we we so happy we had it here. The food was delicious, there were about 10 of us and everyone liked what they ordered from the appetizers to the main course. I had the pork chops which were delicious, the steaks were great and the honey chicken. We will be going back. Thank you for the great food and making our special night fantastic!

Had An appetizer and a couple of beers at the back bar yesterday. The service by Freddie was awesome. Great guy with a fantastic attitude. TVs were huge and stationed perfectly to enjoy watching golf. I had the eggroll appetizer and it was really good. Keep up the good work, Freddie

This place is great. I actually didn’t realize it was there until I bumped into it. I went there for happy hour and it’s probably one of the best on the strip. I think there’s one at 11 and the other at 5. I stopped in around noon. I would definitely double check the time. But it’s worth. The service is great. The atmosphere is nice. Overall a cool vibe.

This place is fine for bar food but nothing special. The service is great and the selection of dishes is strong but a lot of the dishes lack flavor. Probably wouldn’t come back but the restaurant setup looks fun for a dinner meal when music is playing

Cool place- Ryan, the bartender, was really friendly and actually remembered us from a couple of days ago. Food was very good and really reasonably priced.

If your looking to get good drinks! Or a place to chill to drink, pregame this is your spot!! My fiancé and I couldn't stop getting drinks lol. The bartenders name was hatch he was kind, nice, himself! & outgoing, just keeping it real with you, which we love ❤️

Came here for a quick pit stop while we were in Vegas. We sat here for a while, drinking and eating. The bartender was really friendly! The food was so-so, as expected from bar food.

The oak room was on my list as soon as I saw it was close to my area. Who doesn't love oak and whiskey? It took me a while to locate. I did find it in one of the corridors in the shopping areas it was smaller than I had thought it would be, it felt more takeout, but the service was great and the server was very friendly. It was a busy spot and she did wonderful on the on the old fashions I ordered. And as we sat and talked, I'd notice people going toward a back bend area which I asked if there was more rooms and she stated yes, and so as I went back to take a look, there was two huge areas with big bars and places for live music and food. Overall, the vibe was wonderful in the whole place and my next visit will be in the main room.

We stumbled upon the Oak Room while shopping at the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian. We arrived during lunch hours and were seated immediately by the hostess. Upon entering, you walk through a bar that has that speakeasy vibe that I adore. When you pass through to the dining section, you'll encounter plenty of TVs and a full bar. It was a very busy Saturday afternoon during the peak of college football season, but our server greeted us immediately, handed us menus, brought much needed water, and took our drink order. The Rat Pack whiskey flight and onion rings are a must. The steak tacos were ok, but the salad was fresh and delicious. Of course, I had to have my Michter's and Coke, which had a generous pour. I will definitely stop by again for the ambiance, service, and drinks.

Great spot for drinks and inexpensive eats. After an over indulgent weekend we were looking for some low key bites. The bar is huge and pretty empty with lots of sports being televised. Service was excellent and the food surprisingly good.

Service was great! All very friendly and attentive. Went in for the HH burger and stayed for a few cocktails. The burger was a yum and price even better for Vegas prices. Would definitely consider going back at night next time. The day crowd was pretty chill.

Let me preface with I was in Vegas during Easter weekend. My bf and I were shopping and other restaurants were either packed or closing for Easter brunch and reopening hours later. We noticed it was fairly empty... maybe 2 tables had people. Looks like a typical bar. Food is typical bar food. We ordered wings and fried shrimp to start. The burger and onion rings are sold separately... And my boyfriend ordered a BLTA (minus the A) in a wrap. Food came out super fast. Nothing really notable to add outside of it's basic bar food and decent service.

What an amazing experience. Q is amazing and engaging. Looking forward to returning again soon.

Great local restaurant bar to stop and have a beer or cocktail. Great bar food and reasonable prices. Services was fabulous and food came quick. During hot summer they open doors and fresh breezes for the evening. Atmosphere adorable

Came here for a private party. Nice ambiance. We had an open bar and O was so happy with the selection of top shelf Japanese whiskey. The bartenders were freaking amazing! They were hustling and keeping up with the demand for everyone's drinks. The female bartender was fun and really personable. We had a nice discussion about Halloween horror mazes while she was pouring everyone's liquor. Despite how loud it was inside the bar, the bartenders heard everything and were right on top of all the orders. The party was catered, which kept everyone tummy's full. Of course the fresh carved prime rib was the most popular area. They had made to order pasta too. There were make your own chicken or beef sliders and a variety of salads. There was even a dessert bar. It was such a fun party.

Q was an amazing server. He was so helpful and attentive and was absolutely hilarious. Food was also amazing and came out quickly too. 10/10 would recommend this place and would recommend Q if he's working.

I come in here pretty frequently. I also work in the Venetian so I'm always close by. When I'm here I get the loaded tater tots, i haven't had food this good in a hot minute. Everyone I've met there (staff) is always extremely friendly and are able to recommend good drinks and know a lot about the different types of liquor. I have also gotten the seared ahi tuna loaded nachos and they are also amazing. This is a very chill bar with plenty of TVs to watch the game! We love mark! 10/10 highly recommended

The Oak Room Whiskey and Tequila Bar is a solid spot for a cocktail, or a shot or flight of whiskey and tequila. We had no idea this was here 'til we were walking around the Venetian and heard a bunch of fans cheering on the playoffs. Therefore, we came here for a drink to watch the end of a divisional game. Unlike most places in Vegas during this time of COVID-19 where reservations are required, we were able to get seats at the bar, as the hostess lured us in. At the bar, there were plenty of TVs with sound of the game on. The bartender who helped us out was helpful and checked in with us our entire time here. The menu featured several different kinds of whiskeys and tequilas, with wines and beers on tap and specialty cocktails. They also had a full food menu. We each ordered a cocktail, which brought on the booze. I ordered a spicy strawberry margarita, which came with fresh jalapenos, seeds and all, and the heat was on! I dug it. If you're looking for a place for a strong cocktail while watching the game around the Venetian, The Oak Room has you covered.

Rachel our bartender was fantastic. The minute I asked what type of oil they used to cook the food, she was on top of it. She even asked what my other allergies were so that she could check on what I ordered. I ended up getting two eggs over easy, bacon, and mixed fruit. That along with the bottomless mimosas was delicious! She was friendly and gave us some suggestions of other places to check out. This is a great breakfast option if you are staying in Las Vegas.

We stopped in only because the hostess was out front advertising $5 shots. Hey why not!! The place is pretty big, music was good, service was great. They were excellent with the social distancing that I loved. So I ordered my favorite wingette's (Garlic Parmesan). They tasted good, my only issue is they could have been cooked a little longer. I like the crunchy feel of them. If ever in Vegas again I would return.

If you're looking for a place to go in Vegas that doesn't need a reservation, at least during the day, Then Oak Room may be a good place to visit. The drinks are overpriced and the food tasted like a normal burger joint you can get somewhere else. The hubs' stated that the Mule didn't have enough ginger beer, but, was still good. Our waitress was very nice, however, she was also the bartender and attending quite a few tables. It took some time to receive refills and for her to check back in with us. I'm chalking this up to her being so busy. Again, if you need a place to stop, I would recommend The Oak Room. If you want really good food, you might want to try somewhere else. Happy eating Yelpers!

Went with a simple burger and fries and ginger ale. The Burger really hit the spot but wasn't above average.

The drinks here are freshly made. One of the really cool group drinks is the FishBowl. Our group over the span of a few nights had about seven of the fish bowls. other sweet drinks that are good are the Mai Tai and the pina collada....

Excellent food. Great Staff. We will definitely come again. Emma our server was very professional and friendly. We ordered the chicken and salad and burgers and fries. Burgers were prepared perfectly. Salad was amazing. The fries...Wow!!!

Honestly, if I could give ZERO stars, I would. The Oak Room Whiskey and Tequila Bar is a joke. I am honestly quite surprised that an establishment of this low caliber is in The Venetian. The drinks are DISGUSTING. And the worst part is we ordered drinks that every bartender should know how to make, especially if the drinks ordered have whiskey and tequila in them. I mean, how do you screw up a margarita?! And they don't even use the appropriate glasses for their drinks (see picture). The drinks were so bad, I can tell you I will never return.

Stopped in for lunch and the restaurant/bar was pretty dead - a few people at the bar and 1other party sitting at a high top table. However, the wait times were super long - the bartender was also the server and maybe the chef LOL...We ordered cocktails that were not only over priced but terrible and a wrap. The wrap came out wrong and they corrected it. Nothing special. The bartender was pleasant but she didn't even know what kind of bourbon or vodka was available - SMH. I will not go back here. Try somewhere else on the strip.

My hubs and I randomly ate here tonight, just basically down to eat the first place we found. We didn't have high expectations for the food, since the menu was just simple/typical bar food. My hubs got the burger with an egg and I got a Cesar salad w fried chicken - we were both really impressed. The chicken on my salad was sooooooo good. I wanted to eat the whole thing but it was huge! My husband said his burger was a hit, it looked really tasty. Service was also fantastic. Jordan was our server and bartender. He was warm and attentive. Our food and drinks came out fast and he seemed to easily manage the tables in his vicinity and working behind the bar. Would definitely recommend grabbing a bite to eat or drinks here. Low key vibe with great food!

Stopped in here for a drink and were seated immediately, front of house was great. Past that we had to leave, no bar tender came by. We asked the front of house what was up and they said the bar tender was busy helping another table. There were a total of 4 people in the restaurant including the three of us. We waited another bit and no service continued. Off we went.

If I could 0 stars I would. This place is an over priced tourist trap. Same type of crappy bar food from where I live but 3 times the price. I was not expecting this because they are attached to the Venetian. Will not be back.

Don't recommend coming here, very snobby and rude daytime male bartenders. When my party asked what kind of shots are the well shots they giggled and said the shots from the well. Then when we left they said "was it something the other guy said" so they're aware they suck. 0/5

If you're a considerate former server, who's trying to do a favor to a compatriot, and ask her if she'd rather serve you and change the channel or send you into the next room where the ball game is playing that you want to watch... OMG, don't go here. Not only will you be mocked, but it will be done in a loud, inexpert, passive-aggressive way, speaking to another person, as though you can't overhear. As a former server, I have been as considerate as possible for decades, and I have never been treated this way, even BEFORE I understood. I hope she was just having a bad day. Otherwise, I hope she gets fired. We former servers know how possible it is to pretend that the customer is right. This burger over here around the corner is so much tastier than she is.

Terrible experience at the Oak Room at the Venetian. Cocktails are ridiculously overpriced and of poor quality, to the point they are even far too expensive by Vegas strip standards. The ambience is very pretentious, and the food is mediocre at best. I would have preferred to spend my money at In-and-Out or a small local restaurant. As an establishment, the Oak Room seems to cater to customers they view as "important" or "preferred" while condescending those of us who looked "normal" or not as affluent.

Lola and Savannah were the absolute shit! Drinks were awesome! They were the coolest people on the strip. Left a bag from shopping and they caught it and saved it for us! Went above and beyond and we went back to them several times!

Savannah is very friendly and kind, she invited us to eat and drink the day before so we came back and we are glad we did. The food was very good and the drinks were good as well. Our bartender Taylor was awesome sauce! I would recommend.

Try the Pig Mac Burger. So tasty. Service was quick and friendly. Walking distance from almost anywhere on the strip. The drinks and tasty as well.

So sad that the portions of food was ridiculous. I was charged &14 fir a burger smaller than McDonalds with no side included , I mean not even fries, same with my son and grandson. Then fir a frozen drink with no Alcohol was $13, but to add a single shit was $8. There are way to many places to eat in Las Vegas that you and your family can enjoy and get full on fir less rather than this bite size meal, it was embarrassing and sad. My bill was $118 for absolutely nothing!!! All the years coming to Vegas this was the worst money spent ever!!! Owner should be ashamed fir this ridiculousness!!!!!!!
