Holy smokes! This place has top notch sea food dialed in!! The crab cakes are AMAZING. I had the chicken fried lobster and my wife had the Texas blackened fish. Both dishes very different and very very good in their own way. Seafood was cooked to perfection. My wife and I will be back soon!

We celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary here. It was our first time trying the restaurant and it didn't disappoint. Food was amazing. Our server Cameron was on point. They even gave us an anniversary card signed by their whole team. We would def recommend this spot.

Wonderfully fresh seafood expertly presented. The Hokkaido sea scallops were perfectly cooked and served over the best risotto I've had in a really long time. The cocktail list had some delicious offerings, and I had the Remy Martin sangria. The gigantic peanut butter pie was enough for 4 people, and is smooth and creamy without being too rich or too sweet.

The food is good. Our waiter was amazing. They were open for thanksgiving and the food was at a slightly discounted price. The drinks were pretty good. The bathrooms were clean.

We always enjoy a well prepared meal at the Oceanaire. As always the raw oysters were super fresh. Best crab cake in the DFW area. I highly recommend eating here, especially for special occasions...

I visited the Oceanaire Seafood Room during Restaurant Week 2025. The prix fixe (pre set menu) was $49 and I selected the mussels, salmon, and strawberry shortcake. They were all tasty and I love the restaurant's ambiance.

Dinner was wonderful, and our server was fabulous. To our taste a bit salty because we cook our food, not salty. I forgot to mention that when our waiter asked for a diet restriction. It was my husband BD dinner, and they gave us free a bake Alaska. Everyone should try this dessert.

My husband and I went here tonight for our anniversary dinner, and Amber truly made the experience exceptional. We already love this place and always have a great time, but Amber took it to another level. She was incredibly sweet, knowledgeable, and personable. She genuinely made us feel like we were being taken care of by a friend, while still remaining completely professional. The food and drinks are always amazing but I really wanted to give a special shoutout to our server tonight. ❤️🥂

I came here for a business lunch. We had a party of 8. Staff - Our waiter was fantastic. I'm really angry with myself that I didn't make note of his name because he was attentive without being overbearing, personable and knowledgeable about both the restaurant and menu. Ambiance - 4.5 Stars - We were on the 2nd floor in a semi private area meaning our table was curtained off. The dining area downstairs had a style I liked because it was a bit of a nod to the mid century aesthetic of a restaurant like The Dresden but modernized. I would have loved for it to have been a total classic throwback vibe but I appreciated the nod. Food - 4 Stars - We ordered the seafood tower for the table. It included oysters, shrimp, lobster tail and crab. Surprisingly I really enjoyed the oysters. Being landlocked in Dallas you wouldn't think that raw oysters would be tasty but these were. Nice briny seawater and a little Tabasco made for a great bite. The crab was good as well. I wasn't a fan of the lobster as it was overcooked. Also, while the tower came with a classic cocktail sauce and and, I believe mustard base sauce, it didn't come with butter sauce! Missed opportunity. My favorite meal is crab legs with drawn butter and crusty bread. It's near criminal that we had crab and no butter base sauce. For my entree I ordered one of the specials. It was a striped bass over grits with a Cajun cream sauce. The grits had the exact texture I like which is creamy but still with a bit of a bite. The bass was cooked perfectly. My only complaint about the dish was the absence of spice. When I hear Cajun, I think creamy, delicious sauce with a kick. The spice level was 0 but was still tasty. Value - 3 Stars - I did not pay for my meal so I honestly don't know the cost of my entree but the seafood tower was $159. For that price, the tower was sparse. I don't expect for $159 to have a tower overflowing with crab and lobster (if you've seen the movie The House, think that type of excess) but I would expect the "filler" seafood, like shrimp, to be more abundant. It was truly enough for the table but the price was a bit steep for what we got. All in all, I very much enjoyed my meal. It is quite the drive for me to the Galleria so I cant say that I would make the trip on my own but I would be happy to go back for an event.

Revisited Oceanaire on Friday, 9/20/24. Sat bar side had a mojito and ordered dinner. Chilean Sea Bass and truffle whipped potatoes. The protein was barely room temperature. Bartender asked how is everything, informed the protein was less than room temperature; however, have a headache and needed to eat something. Shortly after manager Brian introduced himself, I gave a HLO of situation again advised that I needed to eat something and wanted them to be cognizant of plated food temperatures. He had me to try the potatoes and those to were room temp. He took those back for a fresh order. Short time later Manager Brian informed me Oceanaire would be paying for dinner to take care of the bartender. Which I plannned on b/c he did not cook the meal. FYI I did not ask, suggest, nor elude that I wanted a meal compensation. He replied he knew that is why he offered b/c I was extremely nice about the situation. The proverbial saying third time is a charm..we shall see. I will inform Brian prior to the next visit.

We made our reservation via open table. I requested a booth. I received a text 15 minutes before our reservation letting us know our table was ready when we arrived. We were greeted immediately upon arrival and seated. The waitress was quick to greet us and bring our drinks. She answered a few questions about the menu. Next we were served a relish tray and bread. The chilled relish tray was a nice start but we didn't care for the bread. We normally aren't sourdough fans. But did notice others enjoying seconds. We placed our orders and meal service was very prompt. We did not have an appetizer. I had the 8 ounce tail stuffed with the jumbo lump crab cake. The lobster was cooked to perfection and the crab stuffing was exceptional. It was served with broccolini, a Corn slaw and roasted lemon. The only negative I had was the butter was served in a little gravy dish instead of a butter warmer. My husband ordered the seafood tower. The seafood tower had 4 oyster of your choice, he had blue point, jumbo shrimp, 1.5 lobster tails and jumbo lump crab, about 6 ounces. The oysters were fresh and served with a cocktail sauce with fresh horseradish , a vinaigrette and a white sauce. The fresh cocktail sauce was very good. The shrimp were very nice size and very good. The lobster had a very light seafood spice that was very good and the jumbo crab was excellent. Definitely the best tower we have had and the price was $79, very reasonable. We finished with the Baked Alaska. It was beautiful. But I didn't like the extra liquor that didn't burn off. But the ice cream was good and the flaming table side is always a treat. We look forward to our next visit.

Haven't been here in years and decided to come for restaurant week. Still a great atmosphere but bummer they only give $5 off your $20 parking ticket. Food was fresh and awesome. I had the stuffed flounder for restaurant week and the flavor was great. Wife went off menu for a grilled sea bass which was perfectly cooked. Super nice service and wine bottle prices weren't too bad.

Great tasting seafood! Great service. Classy decor. Will definitely come back when in Dallas or Houston.

Great dinner at the Oceanaire tonight. Special occasion that called for a special experience. Warm greeting and seated quickly . It's an upscale ambiance but not stuffy. We had chicken fried lobster, scallops, shrimp, grilled lobster and amazing crab cakes. Our food was prepared perfectly, the service top notch and the experience perfect. Really can't say enough about this place and highly recommend for a special night out.

Went here tonight and it was just ok. The ambiance is nice. But The food was not worth the money spent. I definitely expected more. The flavor was just not there. We had several items: oysters, sushi, lobster tail, steak, chicken fried lobster. All just meh. The service was also not acceptable for an establishment of this alleged caliber. Food was slow to come out, one of my dining mates food did not come out even though everyone else had their meals. Overall just not impressed.

Some pretty big misses here for a restaurant that aspires to fine dining. I ordered a scallop dish that was supposed to be served with a crab cake. The scallops were fine, could have used a bit more sear. The crab cake that was served was basically a thin pile of mush. I don't think the kitchen should have served it. Then there was simple service failure as the bartender who waited on me at no point asked how my meal was or offer anything else. Aside from taking my initial order, basically ignored and additional service. Given the high price point and low service, I would be hard pressed to make a return visit.

Came here for a work dinner! They were very gracious and accommodated our party with a quite last minute reservation. Great looking restaurant with fantastic menu! Has a great drink selection and our drinks came out pretty quickly! I think they had several large parties and seemed a little overwhelmed as two hours after arriving we had been served drinks and appetizers but no main courses to the point that several people asked where the food was. That said the food was very good! I had the poke and hamachi and both were excellent ! Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals and it was worth the wait.

Girls night went off without a hitch! We had Nina at our service, who was excellent! First off, you need to know this place is upscale, seafood is Uber fresh, and care is in the details. Kudos to the chef, who seared the scallops to perfection! One star off to the manager who kept saying he was coming to the table (we had a compliment) and didn't show up for almost an hour! Good thing we were chatting and catching up. We saw him multiple times avoiding us, maybe he thought we had a complaint. Either or, we all agree he should have Gieb us a round of drinks for his lack of approach. Anywho, definitely worth the visit! Our drinks were delish, and the desserts were decadent. We had the raspberry cheesecake, crème brûlée, and baked Alaskan... and the Baked Alaskan was by far the best!

Took hubs here for a Father's Day dinner. Our first time here, and it exceeded my expectations as a surprise for him. It's a beautiful interior. Subtle blue lighting made it feel very cozy and intimate. Victoria is a fantastic server. She was very attentive and checked on us several times after each course was served to us. We ordered 6 of the cavier dressed oysters (wow), and he got the Father's Day special, which consisted of 6oz filet mignon, lobster tail, shrimp and asparagus. I got the yellowtail tuna. We did the lobster and crab mac and cheese as a table side. Desert included espressos and flourless chocolate cake and vanilla bean creme brulee.

Service is phenomenal! Drinks are good. Food, ehhh food was not so good and took forever to come out. Shrimp scampi was 1/5 stars didn't like it at all. Shrimp was chewy and the pasta had something crunchy in it like bread crumbs. The salad 2/5. Soggy... The ambiance was nice dim and romantic. Super cold inside! Bring a jacket!

Oceanaire was a good time. I went with a party of 6 for a birthday and Mack was our server. He did a good job explaining the menu and giving good suggestions, even put a dessert and a glass of champagne on the house. I had the filet mignon and shrimp with some lobster Mac and cheese. The FM was decent. The lobster was cool too. 7.5/10 for both. I had a marg as well. 8/10. This place is good for date night. Very dark inside. Check it out.

On March 30 we were staying at The Westin the entire weekend as a surprise staycation for my daughter. It was kinda late and all we wanted was some good fish for Good Friday. We had been out all day. We were tired and didn't feel like dressing up to dine in The Oceanaire and too tired to even go next door to beloved usual spot. To our dismay they were all out of fish and chips. Leaving us w/ not a whole lot of options to order from. My 10 yr old wanted the halibut asparagus and risotto, her favorite. This one dish came to $92 w/tip but ok. Our thoughts well it must be fantastic! We were So tired we literally sat at the lobby table to dine. By this time I just wanted a fork full to taste it. As my daughter was on her third bite she was like mommy look a hair as she began pulling it out of her mouth we both were gagging. An extremely long wavy black hair. I was so disappointed disgusted and at this time of night angry. I called Oceanaire immediately even though they were 10 steps from where we were sitting. They offered to make another Plate at this my daughter is shaking her head no. I didn't blame her one bit. My stomach was still turning and I wasn't even the one who pulled a hair out of my mouth. They told me to come in to speak to the manager the next day to take care of it, which I found a bit odd. When I showed up on the scene there was no record of my complaint. They offered to reimburse me and again and to make us another meal . I agreed to the reimbursement but once again turned down the offer for a replacement meal coming from this establishment. This was March 31st. It is now April 23rd and I have yet to see my refund. When I called yesterday I was informed it can take 4-6 weeks. This was news to me. Why wouldn't they say that initially Who does that? Leaving me no choice but to express my experiences with this establishment. The cleanliness matches the customer service. Waste of my money and my time.

Came to Oceanaire as my work colleagues had booked a lunch here before the start of our conference and it was literally on the first floor of our hotel. Got the Norwegian halibut, which was brushed with lemon butter, and a Caesar salad to start. First off, the halibut itself was pretty good. But I would've thought that the halibut would come with some decoration or vegetables. Nah, it was literally one piece of fish. That's it. I mean, if i had paid $54 for this, I would've been pretty damn aggravated. Thankful I had ordered that Caesar salad, because otherwise I would have left here extremely hungry. Service was fine, no complaints from me. The food here is fine, but the price you have to pay for everything isn't worth it to me. Thankful my work paid for this, because I certainly would not have come here otherwise.

We celebrated our granddaughter's 16th birthday here and it was the perfect choice. Our table for 6 was in a corner, the menu had been printed with a colored Happy Birthday theme and we would find that Jonh was the ultimate waiter for our group. He was attentive but not ever present and was just the perfect balance of friendly and informed. Service was timed strictly to meet our needs and spot on throughout the evening. We had a couple of young girls who were picky eaters, but they jumped into the full caviar service and even tired the raw oysters. Every entree was cooked perfectly, and they had a special of John Dory for the evening which will probably be a new favorite fish. We all had different entrees and tasted so I got the fried lobster bites with truffled honey- not a dish I would normally order- but it is one I would happily repeat. It was delicious. This is a meal/restaurant that will remain in memory for a long time. Thanks goes out to the staff and kitchen for a wonderful evening.

Beware not to eat other people's leftovers!! We went there to celebrate a birthday. I only ate about one third of my meal, and one other person also had not finish his dinner. They took the leftovers to put it in a to-go box. When we got home, they had given us other people's food . Glad we didn't have the same dinner; otherwise, we would be eating other people's leftovers! This is so unsafe and unsanitary on so many levels!! When you want to take your food to go, they should do it in front of you. I called them, left a message. They didn't care enough to call back!

The service was amazing! When I tell you our waiter was amazing. He was knowledgeable of the menu, wine, food, and etc. Now, for the food I do think a few things need to be adjusted; the Calamari needed to be fried just a little bit more to get that crunchy and to not be soggy, also the Chesapeake Crab Cake it had shells in it and was missing a little bit of seasoning-- Old Bay, and the mashed potatoes were room temperature aka cold. My guest steak was made to perfection. His shrimp was pretty good. He also said that his side was room temperature aka cold. For this to be my first time and a special occasion, I don't know if I'll come back.

If you are looking for an upscale dining experience, this is definitely the place. It has a 1930s architecture from the dining room fixtures , stairs, bar into the restrooms. The food and service were both 5-star! For a cocktail, I had their signature old fashioned which had a nice smokey flavor. I had their chef's specialty Mahi Mahi with black and blue enrichment, with a side of truffles whipped potatoes and a wedge salad. My wife had the chicken fried lobster with grits which was a "homerun" for her. For desert, I had the key lime pie, with a Graham cracker crust. It was a huge slice and could only eat half! My wife had the Baked Alaska. What a presentation! Great place to go for a special occasion or a special "date night".

Food was excellent, wasn't a big fan of the Wagyu roll and asked them for the Fried Lobster instead which was amazing. Service was excellent and our food came out very fast. Overall an excellent experience.

FACT per our physicians - Contracted Covid for the first time ever from our tall blonde seasoned waitress or the bus guy - one of them came to work sick with Covid. Both were not wearing a mask. It was an extremely slow night for Oceanaire on 7-20-24 we were the only couple sitting in the booth on the far south wall... Absolutely no customers in restaurant but one couple on the first floor near the hotel entrance, over 50 feet away. Arrived to celebrated my wife's birthday. Had not been anywhere in the last 10 days, not even the grocery store, except for this Oceanside restaurant experience. We both work from home. Within 48 hrs we both were extremely ill with high fevers and tested positive for COVID. Since we had not been anywhere else in the last 10 days, Both of our physicians said indoor restaurants are notorious for contracting Covid under current conditions today. Waitstaff knowingly show to work sick with Covid and to make matters worse, they selfishly refuse to wear masks - separately confirmed we contracted it together from the restaurant's waitress or bus guy. We had to have contracted it either from our waitress or the guy bussing and delivering dishes for her. Aside from contracting two complimentary gifts of Covid, our waitress completely forgot to submit our orders for salads. Our fish entrees were excellent and best part of our entire meal and experience. Lobster mac/cheese was tasty, but a little too heavy on the cheese and light on the pasta. Received 2 complimentary desserts and champagne which was a very nice touch for missing our salads. Sincerely wish restaurants would require their waitstaff to mask up when they KNOWINGLY show to work sick with flu, Covid or any communicable virus or infection! It is extremely selfish not to mask up, as they are putting so many people at risk for illness and/or even hospitalization. Both of us were sick with Covid fevers and zero energy for about a week. Fortunately we had both been Covid and Flu vaccinated in the past. Otherwise our situation could have been worse.

To start, give the fish display a deep clean, to remove the bad smell. The meal was accompanied by knats, which made the lunch anything but enjoyable. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

We had a large group meeting at Oceanaire a fews ago. Busy upscale atmosphere - a lot of business dinners. The service was outstanding, highly attentive server working our large group. The food was quite good: the seafood tower, the oysters, the mixed cocktails; the entrees - all good stuff. So why just Ok? Oceanaire is *really* pricey. For Expense Account diners, it's four stars But for people with their own funding, it's three stars (for value) ;)

My significant other and I went here for dinner the other night and our overall experience was ok. We came dressed appropriately but it seemed as though the dress code was not really enforced (lots of people in hoodies and even shorts) which made us feel a little over-dressed. Drinks were good, tasted nice but a tad pricey for the alcohol content. We got the chef's oysters and crab cake as appetizers and they were both delicious. The oysters were very fresh! We got the sablefish entrée and it didn't quite suite our palettes. Service was ok, our server was nice but not very present. Overall our meal came to ~200 and we felt the quality of the food and experience did not match others that we had had

I came here on a Wednesday night for a work function with a large party and it was the perfect restaurant for my team. The service was great, food was amazing (although a few of my team members mentioned it was a little salty), and restaurant was so convenient because we stayed at the Westin. I highly recommend ordering a few appetizers and sharing. I ordered the scallops as an entree and they were perfectly cooked. We LOVED the lobster Mac and cheese. Would definitely come back.

Must get oysters and crab cake here. Food is on the pricey side but always were fresh of the many times we've been here. A bit loud and feel crowded inside like you're too close to your neighbors. Service was anywhere from okay to good depending on whom you get, which I think there's room for improvement in this area as the restaurant is leaning towards upscale price range.

Had a large group dinner here. Overall good seafood and service. Had bone in ribeye and lobster. Wife had halibut and we also got a lobster Thermidor to share.

This place is great again. Went tonight for the first time in a while to celebrate a birthday. We felt like celebrities being seated upstairs. It was a lot quieter. The service was incredible. Our server did a great job and proved that a great server can take the meal to another level. Her recommendations were fantastic and the flow of the meal was great. She treated the birthday girl like the most important person in the restaurant. The food was incredible. Every dish looked great and my Chicken Fried Lobster has me planning my return trip. For dessert, the cheese cake (another recommendation) was enough for our table of nine to share, and all the desserts were great. Our dinner was worth every penny. Thank you Team Oceanaire for a great dining experience. If there was a 6-Star rating you earned it tonight. See you very soon.

Went to dinner for a special birthday occasion everything was wonderful. From the hostess to the waiter to the servers to the bar to the chef. The hash brown side is a must! Oysters were fresh. Bread is excellent. We had Seabass and redfish and baked Alaskan for dessert. Highly recommend!

I have always loved going to Oceanaire for special occasions. But my husband and I went for my birthday and the experience was subpar. The waitress was so slow and ignored us most of the night. She was the least personable waitress I have ever encountered. Since the service was so slow, we waited over an hour for our food to be delivered. And then when it was brought out the portions had shrunk since the last time I was there. I was underwhelmed and won't be back.

This is the Chef's idea of a Caesar Salad with grilled shrimp. As you can see the $23 salad comes with 3 shrimp in a plastic container and lettuce in a box not filled. Sure hope the dining-in experience provides enough salad to fill a bowl and at minimum 5 shrimp. Service was decent, ambiance seemed nice while I was waiting. But to take your food to go just does not work.

Sorry it has come to this... After my last post of a mediocre dining experience, Ana R. from customer service reached out to me and asked for all my contact info as she had a team of people looking into what happened. (an investigation she call it) rest assured she said that someone will reach out to you. Over four weeks later no one has contacted me, and every time I text Ana the response is always the same (these things take time I have asked my team to contact you) It's sad to see what ones was a upper class seafood establishment has become nothing more than just a mediocre fish house. Don't wast your money here, there are way better options to get a $300. night out.

We had a good experience at Oceanaire. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu as he has worked there for over 20 years. We received oyster Rockefeller, seafood salad, laughing bird shrimp, shrimp scampi, brussel sprouts, and berries with whipped cream. When placing the order, we asked his opinion on the laughing shrimp, he said it wasn't his favorite so we decided not to order it. He brought it out anyways- we tried it and weren't pleased. It was mostly all dough with very little flavor. I made sure to confirm there was no bacon in the brussel sprouts since I do not eat bacon, and to my surprise, there was bacon on top of the oysters so I was unable to try it. The seafood salad and Brussels were my favorite! Lots of flavors and well prepared. Would come back to try other items.

Went on Mother's Day, I'd say 65% full when we got there. Struggled for service. Server was doing her best Ordered oysters for Apps, no complains Ordered crab legs for a main, supposed to get a pound with 2 legs. Turns out the 1 leg was a pound which didn't look like it but the server promised it was. Think the mkt on it was a $100! Ordered the Mahi mahi, their were no flavors tasted below average. I have been coming to oceanaire for years on and off and now will stop. Disappointed to say the least.

Being a foodie, I feel like this place is good for what it is. If you are looking for non adventurous, "fine dining", in DFW then oceanaire may be your spot. The ambiance is a bit loud and it seems like this place is sitting back on its laurels. There was a sign in the lobby touting dress codes and no caps but the bar had two folks hanging out in shorts, t-shirts, and tennis shoes. The service is actually pretty good. The food is also decent. Nothing is mind blowing but all of it is average. If you are taking an out of Towner who is not into ethnic cuisines, this could be your spot. We got the barrel aged manhattans for cocktails and they were both decent. We then got the calamari (way too much breading and too little calamari), the crab cakes (this was delicious and tasted super meaty) for starters. We got the chefs special lemon sole and the chicken fried lobster for entrees. Again, way too much breading on the lobster but there were 2 tails in the entree so it was good. The grits served with the lobster were a little on the dry side. The lemon sole wasn't as tender as I'm used to but the risotto it came with was delicious. The star of the night was the flourless chocolate cake which was outstanding! If you are going to do one thing right in my book dessert is it!! It was super moist and rich. A great treat to end a good dinner.

As all Oceanaires, it's a beautiful cool blue setting. Getting there, in and out of the crazy busy madhouse that was $15 hotel valet parking on a Saturday evening, did remind me that there's a better and much more peaceful seafood dinner to be had across town at Trulucks. Decent cocktail program and wine by the glass, though a French chardonnay option for less than $50 a glass would be appreciated. Tempura shrimp was an excellent appetizer, a healthy pile, generous for two people to share, with a nice hit of spice from the glaze. Good selection of half shell oysters. Properly cleaned, shucked and presented. Really appreciated the educated and friendly wait staff throughout the evening; for example, when I said we'd like the best of 3 different PEI oysters offered, the waiter asked if we prefer small or large, briny, etc, to make sure we got the ones we'd most enjoy. Clam chowder was a big bowl, much more than a cup, and very thick and rich. Really nicely done, certainly recommended, although very filling; you may want a lighter main after. The big disappointment was halibut dynamite. What looked to be a beautiful piece of fish was seriously overcooked. If there's one thing I'd expect from a high end seafood house, it would be that they would know how to properly cook seafood. The "dynamite" was a topping of almost cloyingly sweet crabmeat with not a hint of heat. While I appreciated the thin ribbons of tabasco on the plate, they didn't do anything to spice up the dish. I'd skip their dynamite presentation in the future. The hash browns side was enormous, plenty for a table of 4. It was mostly undercooked, with just a little crispy edge on one side. "Ala oceanaire", which sounded appealing, gave the hash browns a little ball of bacon shoved on one corner of the plate, and nothing else of note. The dish gave the impression that the kitchen was rushing through the orders. So the staff, the setting and the starters were all really nicely done, but the main course was a real disappointment. So 4 stars for the things they executed well, but I don't feel like we'd rush back. Sticky toffee pudding for dessert was a huge piece, more than enough for two, and nicely presented, with the toffee sauce and whipped cream on the side.

Wow! We haven't been to Oceanaire in quite a long time. We decided to go last night and now I am wondering why in the hell we haven't been there in such a long time! The service - amazing. The food - amazing. The hospitality - amazing. I literally have nothing bad to say about this meal. They brought us a glass of champagne to celebrate Valentine's Day. The cocktails were amazing (Oceanaire 2.0 and a pomegranate martini). The tuna wontons were perfect. The mixed seafood grill (added scallops) was just phenomenal. The baked Alaska was ridiculously good. We can't wait to go back. Thank you, Oceanaire!!

Food: The lobster bisque was amazing as well as the chicken fried lobster. Service: Good. No complaints Overall: Love this place! Would take family and friends.

The most amazing meal I have had in 2 years! The cocktails set the mood for a phenomenal meal. Both smooth and crafted by someone who isn't afraid to be creative. The service attentive and professional service. Everything about this dining experience made me happy. The main course was exquisite! The swordfish was cooked to perfection and accompanied well with the mushrooms. Everybite was delightful. The chicken fried lobster was creative and well prepared. It was delicious according to my dinner guest. We finished the meal with baked Alaska. I will not soon forget this meal.

Never disappoints. I had the fried lobster tonight. Wow! I was intrigued by it on the menus. It was better than I imagined. My wife had the seafood grill. Everything was delicious. Our server was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. This is a treat for us, saved for special occasions. It was a delightful place to celebrate. The baked Alaska was a great finish.

Never disappoints. Easy access from two major highways and easy parking options including full service valet. The staff is super courteous and very professional. The atmosphere is friendly upscale. The decor is a tad modern but still feels cozy and traditional. The food is delicious as always. I would say that this may be one of the most underrated upscale restaurants in Dallas area. You must visit it this weekend

Dined last night we had the Hawaiian Red Snapper and the Blackened Halibut. Both dinners were awesome! Highly recommend! We ordered a side of Lobster and crab Mac n cheese but were very disappointed and sent it back. It looked like there was no cheese sauce on it but found out it was very runny and allay the bottom of the dish and the pasta just had an off taste. The manager did come over and asked us for feedback for the chef to improve and took it off our check. Ended with a toffee cake with vanilla ice cream. It was a decent choice and a favorite of mine. Service was known but for some reason our waitress was not very attentive. Something was going on upstairs and she kept disappearing there. She took out ordered but someone else served it, someone else took our check it was just weird as the other tables around us the service was spot on. Fish here is fresh and consistent and would not hesitate to return, which we have many times.

Just does not disappoint. We went here for my Mother in laws 75th birthday on Valentine's weekend and everything was perfect. Our waitress was knowledgeable and on point. My mother in law can only eat certain items and the chef even took the time to come out and discuss the menu to ensure she found something she liked. Everything I had was delicious, but man...they had Thai curry mussels as a special for the weekend and they should be in the menu EVERY DAY!!!

Food is amazing. Service is perfect. Cocktails are different, fun and yummy. However, the company that handles their valet- stole cash from the center console. It was only about $25, but regardless of the amount, I wouldn't leave anything in the car or trust them.

We had a group of 30 people in the wahoo space and the staff was incredible! The servers were quick with our drinks and requests. It did get a bit warm with the amount of people that were in the room and the staff quickly jumped on the situation with a portable AC unit which was great. We did feel the food could have matched the 5 star service however it fell a bit short. Service is great though!

5 stars!! This restaurant has renewed my belief in great customer service!! The food was fantastic and we enjoyed every dish. However, the aspect that set the night above expectations was the service we received. Jennifer our waitress was phenomenal!! She was a delight to talk with and went above and beyond to make an ordinary night feel special!!

We frequent the Oceanaire seafood room pretty much once a year for an annual conference and it never disappoints. Note that their hours have changed slightly due to slow weekday nights which did not change because of the Conference but everything we had was absolutely delicious and divine! For this particular evening I did neglect my plant-based diet and enjoyed the chefs special halibut! Probably one of the best I've had in a long time!

this establishment is located inside of the Westin Dallas Galleria. in my personal opinion it is a bit pricey for the ambience & food. I can appreciate wanting to be a more of a fine dining experience but unfortunately for me the food and pricing just did not go hand-in-hand. I did enjoy the hashbrowns a'la oceanaire, they were extra crispy hashbrowns with onions and bacon and Tabasco sauce- pretty tasty but a tad greasy. I enjoy the taste of the clam chowder but it was way too thick for my liking, I like just a little bit of a soup consistency for my chowder. The crabcake was full of lump crab but a little more moist than im used to. all in all, it had decent taste but my biggest issue was it's extremely pricey.

The place just does not live up the expectations, their word, or standard of fine dining. 1. Relish tray- disappointing cheap flavorless pickles and olives. 2. Appetizers- Shrimp- way to much sauce, so much it made the batter soggy. Calamari- decent but wow factor. 3. Entrees- Parmesan steak and shrimp- steak was great- on a outback level. The shrimp was large with steak but to be a seafood place and not clean the poop shoot out of a shrimp is unacceptable! Ordered king crab @125 a pound. What we actually received appears to be snow crab. It several small legs- nothing king about them. 4. Dessert- the baked Alaska- if your gonna cook something in alcohol use a better liquor it tasted like lighter fluid. Honor your word- upon arriving I asked if they would honor my employee discount- the confirmed my employment and said no issue- then at the end of the meal they said oh no we don't recognize x company you will have to pay full price- when I specifically asked. I gave the manager multiple days to contact me and no response - I will be sure to tell all my friends to NOT eat here. Poor service, poor quality, has really gone down hill and is a poor reflection on the Landry and Oceanside name.
