"The Oceanaire may be a chain throughout the country, but that doesn’t knock its superior raw bar, clam chowder, or happy hour (known here as Admiral’s Hour — with $5 bottles of beer and $9 fish and chips) down a notch. This place has an old-school, white-tablecloth vibe, and the dining room is bathed in a nautical blue light." - Eater Staff

"The bar at this swank seafood chain offers happy hours from 4 to 7 pm Monday through Friday.  Obviously, food specials focus on seafood, with $6 oyster shooters, a $7 trio of fresh oysters, and $8 steamed mussels.  For drinks, pick from $5 drafts, $7 wines by the glass, and $9 specialty martinis." - Eater Staff

We went for our 3 year anniversary and we were highly impressed. From the impeccable service from Farrah, to the food, lighting, atmosphere and the small extras. The seafood was magnificent and my husband demolished his shanghai fried rice. The drinks were strong and good and not too bad in price. The table and seating was clean, But the service took the cake, we felt special and can only say thank you. Wed more than recommend this place.

Awesome seafood restaurant. The menu has changed. If you have not been there in a while, it may be time to take a look. Our service was tops. From the moment we walked in we were treated warmly by the staff. They quickly pulled up our reservation and seated us. Our waitress was fantastic....even though she entered the wrong order, they quickly got the correct meal going and it was soon at the table. The manager (I think it's the manager) came over and apologized for the error. It was all good. The meal and drinks were good. I will go back.

I can not say enough positive things about Oceanaire! Lyndsay was excellent at setting up our dinner party. I needed to make many changes, and she was very accommodating and quick to make it happen. Tiffany was our Rockstar during our dinner. She was absolutely amazing. She is extremely knowledgeable about everything on the menu. She made excellent recommendations and answered everyone's questions with a smile. Our food was outstanding! Our appetizer table was set up beautifully. I'm bummed that I forgot to get a pic. We ordered about half of the items on the menu. Every single person said their meal was delicious. BUT don't fill up on the main course, because the desserts are to die for! Honestly, I can not oversell this venue. I will always come here if I'm in Minneapolis! Great job, everyone!

Beautiful restaurant with excellent service. The bread is excellent. The calamari was so good with an an amazing homemade marinara sauce. I had the seafood plate with scallops, shrimp and lobster. All good, simple and delicious. Sides are ordered separate. My husband ordered the ramen and the broth was really sweet. Overall a great expericence for fine dining.

Beautiful restaurant with a very luxurious atmosphere and amazing service. My fiancee and I went here for our birthday and we were not disappointed, it was undoubtedly the best seafood we have ever had in our lives and even a special dessert for free at the end! We will definitely be coming back in the future!

This place is great. The service is amazing and the food even more so. Got the Lobster mac and cheese and the swordfish and they were both delicious. Also enjoyed the baked alaskan, will be back!

I've been here a few times now, and the service is pretty hit or miss. Either it's amazing or just "okay" depending on who you get. The food is pretty good, but be prepared to spend around $75-$100 per person to get food and drinks around dinner. The atmosphere is great for both large groups and solo travelers. Table service seems to be more personalized and better for groups than solo service at the bar. It took a while to get drinks and food, and I felt very overlooked. Overall, highly recommend if you are in the area with more than one person. If you solo travel a lot like me, the food is worth it if you don't mind less attentive service.

The service was excellent. I ordered the Creekstone Tomahawk steak, medium rare, and it was considerably undercooked and raw in most places. It could've been seasoned a bit more as well. I did see some other people order seafood and they seemed to be happy with their dish. Perhaps stick to ordering seafood at the seafood restaurant. The blueberry cheesecake was nice, light and fresh. I will visit again but will order the seafood.
