The Best Seafood Restaurants in Minneapolis and St. Paul | Eater Twin Cities

"The Oceanaire may be a chain throughout the country, but that doesn’t knock its superior raw bar, clam chowder, or happy hour (known here as Admiral’s Hour — with $5 bottles of beer and $9 fish and chips) down a notch. This place has an old-school, white-tablecloth vibe, and the dining room is bathed in a nautical blue light." - Eater Staff

Which restaurant patios will reopen June 2020 in Minneapolis and Saint Paul? | Eater Twin Cities

"I expect its patio to open next week; seating will require reservations and be at a diminished capacity, with social distancing enforced. Masks will be required for workers and for Minneapolis diners (but not in St. Paul). Minneapolis has relaxed zoning to let restaurants reclaim outdoor space such as parking lots and valet stands, though Mayor Melvin Carter and the St. Paul city council are still expected to address zoning concerns. This list may change as the date nears; for updates emailminneapolis@eater.com." - Joy Summers

Downtown Minneapolis’ Best Happy Hours | Eater Twin Cities

"The bar at this swank seafood chain offers happy hours from 4 to 7 pm Monday through Friday. Obviously, food specials focus on seafood, with $6 oyster shooters, a $7 trio of fresh oysters, and $8 steamed mussels. For drinks, pick from $5 drafts, $7 wines by the glass, and $9 specialty martinis." - Eater Staff

Oceanaire delivers that timeless, elevated feel—paired with dishes that genuinely impress. The bread and whipped butter were a perfect start—warm, soft bread with a crisp crust and super light butter. They also brought a tray of cold veggies and pickles, which was random but tasty. The NY strip was excellent: great crust, very tender, well-seasoned, and a big portion. The asparagus were large, soft, and nicely seasoned with lemon. The tuna roll was a surprise hit—the eel sauce with spicy mayo and the tuna marinade were delicious, though we had to ask for chopsticks. The espresso martini was classic and made with fresh espresso each time, which made it clean and perfectly chilled. The cheesecake with raspberries was rich, creamy, with a thick, delicious crust—definitely sharable. The restaurant itself has a timeless, old-school-meets-chic vibe, fancy but still comfortable. Service was good—7/10.

Easily in the top 3 of my dining experiences of my lifetime. We made reservations for a Thursday evening at 7:30PM, and arrived to a nearly empty restaurant. We were greeted with a friendly smile and warm welcome by the maitre d', and promptly seated. The next 2 hours were filled with culinary delights. The crab cake was sublime, easily the best I've ever had (and that includes Virginia, Rhode Island, and California versions). The spicy tuna roll was deliciously spicy and a large enough portion to share. We each partook of a pre-dinner drink, with her having an Old Fashioned and Me having a beer. Next came the main courses: Steak and lobster for me, blue crab pasta for her. Both were soooo incredibly delectable! The filet was the best cooked steak I have ever eaten. It was truly magnificent. We wrapped up with dessert, including a cheesecake and a bread pudding dish that was so unbelievably excellent that I wanted to order a 2nd one to go, but we were too full from our stellar meal. All in all, the service we received was stellar. We never felt rushed during dinner, the food was next level, and the service was fantastic. We will definitely be going back!

We had an incredible dining experience at Oceanaire Seafood Room! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, elegant, and welcoming. I especially want to give a huge shoutout to our waitress Tiffany, who went above and beyond to make my mom feel truly special for her birthday. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and personable — you can tell she genuinely loves what she does. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The seafood was top-notch, and Tiffany’s recommendations were spot on. It’s rare to find both outstanding service and exceptional food in one place, but Oceanaire delivers on both. Highly, highly recommend for any special occasion or just a great night out. Can’t wait to return!

Google
The Oceanaire has set the standard for seafood in this town for decades and that was no different on our latest visit. The service is always first class, the atmosphere is nice and the food is outstanding. We went with the grilled swordfish and garlic free beans this time and both were delicious. If you haven’t had a chance to check this place, make it a priority!

We came here for Restaurant Week! I know from friends that this place is a bit upscale so I thought their Restaurant Week menu was a great starting point. First of all, they had a bread basket and vegetable cruditè as free starters. These are both very appreciated 👏 They had a three-course $45 menu just for Restaurant Week. For appetizers, my sisters got the clam chowder-- very creamy and actually had clams in it and I got the tuna poke, served in a small crunchy wonton wrapper cup. Very tasty with good texture in each bite. For mains, I got the grilled swordfish-- a nice meaty fish with a sweet soy-based sauce topped with pineapples on a bed of vegetables. My sister got the Creole Norwegian salmon, which is a juicy salmon topped with a well-seasoned Creole (tomato-based) sauce on top of polenta. We did get sides of beans and truffle mashed potatoes for $10 extra each to go with these because we weren't sure if the extras it came with were enough. There is no need for the sides, but they were good nonetheless. Then we finished with ice cream. Of course we also got cocktails and Oysters to try, so we really spent over $100 each even for Restaurant Week but I thought it's was well-spent. The service was impeccable and super friendly and if we didn't have to rush to a concert, we would've stayed to enjoy our food and the vibes more. We came at around 530 on a weekday and at this time, the clientele skewed older having quiet meals with colleagues and friends. As the night progressed, younger patrons started coming in for celebrations.

Google
First time visit - I would have to say this place has hit the top of our list! I don't think I can say it enough - Food was excellent - so much flavor, cooked to perfection!! Our waiter did a fantastic job - kept an eye on our table and needs without hovering. The crab cake was absolutely wonderful on flavor and presentation, brussel sprouts had a sweet hint but not over powering. My lobster tail was heaven to the taste buds! The filet mignon and ribeye steak were cooked to what we asked and full of flavor! We were presented with a beautiful and delicious Baked Alaska for dessert - by a gentleman who absolutely nailed the presentation!

My fiancé brought me to The Oceanaire Seafood Room for my birthday. The experience was wonderful. They gave me a special greeting at the door and included another birthday message printed in my menu. On top of that, they provided me with a signed birthday card and made me feel incredibly special. The food was excellent, starting with a full order of the crab cakes. Hands down the best I’ve ever had. I followed this with a main course of the Blue Crab “Louie” Capellini that was delicious. My fiancé ordered the 16oz. New York Strip Steak with a side of Truffle Potatoes that were out of bounds. The meal ended with a surprise birthday Flaming Baked Alaska that was the perfect end to a phenomenal meal. The service was top notch and only one minor flaw of delivering one crab cake when I ordered two. The issue was fixed promptly. Thank you to all who made my night unforgettable!

Google
Great food. Stop for dinner. Loved the atmosphere. Could have stopped with the happy hour wine+sushi roll+sourdough bread+vegetables/pickles but was happy I ordered the grilled shrimp+scallops +lobster. Servicec was very attentive

Yelp
Superb swordfish. Absolutely impeccable service. Definitely will come again. Great spot.

Yelp
My wife and I had an excellent experience. Phillip was fantastic, and was very informative on pairings, had excellent dining suggestions. My Dynamite Scallops were fresh and had a great spicy twist, and my wife's Filet Migion was cooked perfectly. The entire staff was on point on a very busy night, and Phillip made sure we were comfortable and informed, as well as being so kind and personable. We highly recommend dining here.

Yelp
Maybe 4.5. It has been 20 years since we ate here. Then we thought we paid too much for what we got. Not this time. Friends night out and all had a good time. Only negatives were it was way too noisy (a busy weekend night just before Christmas) and one person was not impressed with her fish. 7 others were very impressed. Geo Dickey barrel manhattan $18. Good Oceanaire 2.0. $18. Very good Sides are large and shareable and very good Steamed asparagus $14 Creamed corn String beans Scallops $55 good but could have been seared more and a bit over salted. Chicken fried lobster $47. On cheesy grits. I felt bad ordering lobster this way but took a chance because it was put on the menu. Really glad I did. Lots of flavor in the sauce and perfect breading. One persons birthday and they were given a baked Alaska. It was delicious and feed 6. Worth it seasonal version had mint chocolate chip ice cream. Chocolate mousse $13. Could have feed 6. All desserts were generous portions. Service was headed by Wendie was very good. Until we wanted the check. It was very busy and a number of people finished at the same time. We look forward to going again and will try in less than a year this time.

Yelp
Wish I could give you a review, BUT we entered sat our self at the sea food bar, where we waited 25 minutes, and not once being acknowledged. We waited the 25 mins because they were busy, so was giving them benefit, but yea NO! Totally unacceptable. Got an extra star because the ambiance was nice. Oh and when exited we were told have a good night haha

Yelp
Everything was outstanding, the service, the cocktails and the food. We started off with several appetizers including sushi rolls and calamari, all amazing. For my main course I went with a fillet which was perfectly cooked. This is easily one of the best places I've dined in downtown Minneapolis.

Yelp
Celebrated a birthday on a weeknight 8pm and were greet & seated promptly. Table of 4 woman. Our server Mark was a hoot. He was very knowledgeable & was right on the with the refills. We enjoyed a huge portion of crispy fried Calamari. We dove right into dinner & drinks. I enjoyed the NY strip, others raved about theirs and I know the birthday was over the top happy with her filet & lobster tail. We shared the huge sides of green beans which were fresh & crisp and the potatoes were delightful soft and so tasty. That Ceasar Salad was fresh with the perfect amount of delicious dressing. We received a complimentary Baked Alaska for the bday girl. The fiery presentation was so much fun. We will never forget our experience at the Oceanside downtown Minneapolis.

Yelp
Shout out to chuck! My husband and I visited last night for our first time and he was very informative, friendly and got us anything we needed. There are new menus printed daily since they get their seafood flown in daily so this review is from January 11 2025. We started with a unique appetizer platter and bread and butter. We snacked on olives, carrots, celery and pickles. The oysters Rockefeller was really good, the potstickers were also good but they could have been better, it had kimchi and they had a little kick to them. Which we liked. The patronarita was delicious! Along with the spicy pineapple margarita. Our entrees were pretty solid as well, I really liked the creamed corn and the seafood mix grill. His favs were the 10oz filet and the hash brown a la oceanaire. Overall we had a good experience, but I wish the music would have been a bit lower. The servers, and even the manager, were checking in, cracking jokes, and making any adjustments as needed. I loved it, such a wonderful service experience worth every penny.

Yelp
Update: Sent a message as per the request of the restaurant but never received any type of response from them. Updating the review to 1* because it's ridiculous to ask a customer to reach out in a private message but then not do any kind of followup.

Yelp
We haven't been to Oceanaire for probably 20 years. It's a new location now which was very nice except one big thing - it was so noisy we could not hear across our table for six. I do realize it was a very busy Saturday night in holiday season but wish they could improve noise level. Service was friendly, knowledgeable although a little slow. But we were not in a hurry and again, very busy night. So, on to the food - the six of us were very happy with the food, although a couple of things were a little too salty (most of us are limiting salt at our ages so maybe that's why). But we all agreed we would come again. Desserts were over the top both in size and deliciousness. Baked Alaska was amazing - brought because we were celebrating a birthday and we took home almost all of the desserts we ordered! Cocktails were very good. Prices were high so can't give five stars unless perfect.

Yelp
Oceanaire may not have changed much over the years, although it still graces you with an exquisite interior upon entry. Service is accommodating and super efficient, and the place still seems nearly as busy as it ever was. We started with the Grand Seafood Tower and Escargots. Both dishes were fantastic and would highly recommend. The tower is actually fairly reasonably priced considering what accompanies it, but my personal favorite was probably the lump crab. For mains, I stuck with more shellfish and was not disappointed. The buttery grilled seafood is exactly what you expect and Oceanaire does it well. I'd recommend Oceanaire and it might be the top seafood destination in the Twin Cities still. I'm not sure I could justify a 5-star as I think they still lack a true standout, knock your socks off type dish, but this is a solid 4.5 star restaurant!
google avatar

Amanda E.

Yelp
The waiter was knowledgeable and kind, servicing our table with a good frequency. She offered suggestions in detail for us. There were times where you could feel she was reciting at us, but it's likely required. Quiet for a Tuesday night, but that environment was fun to experience and perfect for my dad, who doesn't love tons of people and can't hear well anymore. We got the crab cake and shrimp crunch roll which were deliciously fresh. I'd recommend those! And for entrees ordered the Chilean sea bass, which also was tasty. Opted to have it seared as recommended by our waiter. Not exactly the healthiest option as it was slathered in butter! Lastly, they gave us baked Alaska in the smaller size for our group of 3 and it was perfect! They make that dessert so so well and it hasn't gone down in quality since we'd been here last.

Yelp
Birthday dinner goals achieved! The Oceanaire was the absolute best choice for celebrating this year. Everything was phenomenal--from the oysters to the service and ambiance. If you need a spot for an awesome, memorable night out, this is it! 10/10 recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
We had a double date dinner at 9pm and were seated pretty quickly because it was a late-ish dinner and the restaurant was empty. I havent been to Oceanaire in over 12 years so i was excited to go back! Server was really nice and knowledgeable. To be honest, the reason i gave it a 3 star is because the price of the food was so high. I dont mind spending alot on good food but it honestly was very basic and I couldve had the same quality of food at any restaurant for cheaper!
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent at every step: Hosts, bartenders, servers, kitchen, valet. Our server (Aidan, I believe), was nearly perfect - pleasant, helpful, attentive. I had the Steak & Cake (filet & crabcake) though it was no longer on the menu, and loved it. Cocktails were fantastic, and I appreciated the old-school Gibson. Creamed corn might have been a bit heavy on the butter, but, oh, well, it was delicious. Baked Alaska for our anniversary was a pleasant surprise. All this in a beautiful space with valet parking - we will definitely be back.
google avatar

Beth G.

Yelp
Every time I come here I have a good experience! My boyfriend and I visited for my birthday and sat at the bar. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. We ordered crab cakes to share and espresso martinis. The martinis are always so rich and honestly my favorite in Minneapolis. The crab cakes were rich and very much worth the price! Our bartender was friendly and attentive as well. We will absolutely be back in the future!
google avatar

Chris D.

Yelp
Food was very good. Got the calamari and lobster cakes for an appetizer. Highly recommend these if you like those. For an entree, we got the king crab legs and the yellowfin tuna. Both were very good and the crab legs were cracked open at the table by the waiter. Finally, we were there for a special event and were given this baked Alaska which was good although I am not the biggest fan of rum flavored deserts. All in all very good. The wine list was pretty extensive. Although cocktails seem more expensive than other restaurants in the area. Parking is not ideal with minimal street parking but the valet was only 15 dollars. I liked the vibe of the place with the low lighting.

Jen N.

Yelp
Everything was amazing! Our server was phenomenal! Suggestions were on point. Overall service was incredible. We didn't feel rushed, and the food was delicious! The restaurant was packed and I was concerned about noise, but it somehow felt very cozy and our conversation was private.
google avatar

Yelp
Food was excellent, service was great and we will come back again. Our service went out of his way to accommodate us. His name is Danny and he really was wonderfully pleasant.
google avatar

Yelp
Great experience, as always! Food was wonderful and we always request Phil. He's so great!

Yelp
Oceanairre is definitely a special occasion restaurant. The menu is seafood with a few token meat items. Service is very professional and the food is top shelf. Prices reflect this quality. For tonight's dinner we shared the wedge salad, Dover sole, and truffle fries. All were perfect. We had martinis and a glass of pricey Chardonnay and shared the baked Alaska dessert. The only disappointment was the service, which slowed a bit as the night went on.

Anh N.

Yelp
We celebrated Thanksgiving at Oceanaire this year due to last minutes changes and were glad we did. Everyone was happy and service was fantastic as well as the food. Asian manager (forgot his name) stopped by and was checking up on us as well as other tables thru out the restaurant. Thank you for making our thanksgiving a great one!!

Jennifer C.

Yelp
We went for my birthday on November 6. John was our waiter. The food was 5* . The service was a 1*. We were ignored for most of the meal, ON A SPECIAL OCCASION, until the last minute when we got a free dessert which I could've cared less about at that point. The restaurant wasn't even full. It was early on a Thursday night. our waiter just disappeared for most of the meal. No, it was NOT 5* special treatment that night at this five star restaurant. For the amount of money we paid, it was insanity for how much we were ignored.

Roger P.

Yelp
Ate here with my wife on 10/25/25. Out waiter (Brad) came to our table 3 times: First, to let us know he was busy and would be with us soon, Second to take our order, Third (over 50 minutes later) to give us our bill. I ran out of my drink half way through the meal and water shortly after that. No one ever came to refill waters or ask if we would like another drink or to check if our food okay or if we needed anything. Oceanaire was part of restaurant week. We had to ask for restaurant week menus so apparently they don't want you to buy from the restaurant week special menu. My wife ordered from the restaurant week menu. I had the shrimp lobster and scallops trio. I was debating between ordering asparagus and corn for our vegetable side dish. We ordered corn. Would have been nice if Brad our waiter would have informed me that the seafood trio comes with 3 pieces of asparagus. Food was very good, value was not, the bill was $171 plus $10 for parking. I have received much better service at restaurants costing less than 20% of what this meal cost. I have been going to Oceanaire for over 25 years, I got engaged there. On the way out my wife talked to the restaurant manager. He gave her his card and said we should call him so he could "make this right as this was not up to their standard of service". Why wouldn't he just "make this right" when we were right there? Will be years before we go back here again. Totally disappointing overall.

Kelley T.

Yelp
Incredible food and service! Seafood was very fresh and waiter was very knowledgeable and fun. Woukd definitely recommend!
google avatar

Kim B.

Yelp
The best dining in Minneapolis!! We celebrated my birthday here, and everything was amazing. The seafood was as fresh as you can get here in the midwest- we had oysters, halibut and sea bass. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, made great recommendations and kept things moving without rushing. Very nice ambiance- the space was beautiful. Curved booth seating to keep the restaurant noise down, so table conversation was easy. And the desserts... delicious! The baked Alaska is not to he missed.
google avatar

Melanie H.

Yelp
Oceanaire was a great and elegant dinner spot last night. We tried 3 different kinds of oysters, the wonderful crab cakes and a delicious entree of lobster, shrimp and scallops. Everything was so yummy! The service at the bar was divine and they all graciously helped us navigate the menu.
google avatar

Nikki J.

Yelp
Delicious, delicious, delicious Our server couldn't have been more pleasant, knowledgeable, and on point from beginning to end. He did in-depth recommendations but also provided enough details on the food items to help with our selection. We started with the crab cake appetizer, which was full of crab. Some crab cakes are more cake, but this one was fresh crab throughout. Into the meal we go, I tried the shrimp and grits, which was perfectly balanced between the sauce and the shrimp. Please note that these were the bigger shrimp, and the grits were both creamy and cheesy. The portion was enough for one person and very filling. The sides are shareable, so we tried the garlic green beans, which were fresh and tender. However, I personally didn't really taste any garlic. I would say if you need a fresh veggie to add to your meal to feel as if you are being balanced, these are it. Now, the lobster, crab Mac and cheese was delightful, cheesy, flavorful, and delicious. It had nice size pieces of lobster and crab throughout. Enough for the table to share and enjoy with plenty leftover depending on your tables appetite. If you're looking for a nice restaurant for either date night or ladies' treat, you should check out it out while in town. We made our reservations about a week in advance of arriving for the Chiefs game and were glad we made the time to stop by.
google avatar

Bree P.

Yelp
The food and service were amazing! Both bartenders were a delight and so attentive. It was my first time trying oysters and they were phenomenal here! Def will be back again and again!

Yelp
We started with a few cocktails and they were all good and reasonably priced. Everyone is given a relish tray and sourdough bread to start. We didn't try the relish tray but the bread was good. For starters we had the spicy shrimp and shrimp tempura maki. Both were fantastic, would absolutely recommend and get again. We all had the 6oz filet. Steak was good and cooked as requested though it was by no means the best steak we've ever have. We also had the fries. They were ok. They were thicker so not our favorite style. Also needed to be more crispy and salty. I think seafood is what they do best here so next time we will try more of that. We were treated to a baked Alaska for a birthday dessert. The special flavor of ice cream was rum cherry and it was divine. The vibe/atmosphere inside was great. You could hear people having a nice time around you. Kampheak was our server and she was fantastic. She really made our meal that much more special. We did use valet parking though we realized after there is a connected parking ramp that would bring you straight down to front door inside, so we will do that next time. The entrance for that is right before the restaurant on South 6th street.

Yelp
Fancy happy hour! I had to come and get this salad and it did not disappoint . My waiter was cool. Very upscale ambiance ... plan on dressing and conducting yourself accordingly. Food came out fast .

Yelp
Finally went here for restaurant week and it was as about what I expected. Drinks were unbalanced, appetizers were good, of course appreciated the complimentary bread, entrees were pretty good (I enjoyed my crab stuffed walleye!) and dessert was below average. I appreciated the attentive service and open booth concept.

Anthony D.

Yelp
Excellent! Can't say enough good things about this place. Food, service and ambiance.

Yelp
The ambiance was elegant. I enjoyed all the blue lighting and chandeliers. Our server explained the menu in great detail! The service was fast! Delicious seafood and aged ribeye. I highly suggest the valet.

Yelp
Amazing food! And we were so we'll taken care of by the staff as we celebrated our anniversary. The ambiance set the mood and helped us to have a remarkable experience.

Yelp
We had a great experience dining here during February restaurant week. Wonderful service, friendly and efficient! We sampled a few dishes and most of them were great (salmon, crab cakes, all side dishes, desserts), and a couple were good but not amazing (lobster bisque was not memorable and walleye was a tad bit dry). Cocktails were okay, solid but nothing to write home about. Planning to return soon

Christine L.

Yelp
the restaurant had quick and friendly staff that spoiled us. Food was amazing. Quiet atmospherez And very relaxing

Yelp
I am posting this review after my second encounter at the Oceanaire. After this most recent experience, I have much to share, so please bear with me. I chose the Oceanaire for an intimate setting for the start of a couples' evening for a retirement celebration. The GM Ryan called me the morning of to confirm details and had special menus printed for my friend John, who was retiring. "Thank you for your service, and congratulations on retirement." We were met with this custom menu and glasses of champagne. We ordered cocktails and the seafood tower to start. Their fresh, flown-in seafood was on full display. Exquisite all the way around. For our main course, we had crab cakes and Chilean Sea Bass Ramen (OMFG A-MA-ZING). Nick came over to congratulate John and thanked us for coming in personally. They made our celebration personalized and took great pride in hosting us. I can't say enough great things. A huge thank you to Nick, the wait staff, and the excellent chefs. Bravo!

Yelp
A staple for seafood by most Minnesotans standards. It's a beautiful setting perfect for a romantic date or birthday. The service is second to none and they will help and guide you to help make the best choices. The food is always good and if their is a specific fish like the char feel free to call ahead and they will have it ready.

Dave L.

Yelp
We celebrated our 59th anniversary. It couldn't have been more perfect. Service is exemplary, food perfectly prepared and presented. Dessert was a Baked Alaska! Our server John G. Paid attention to every detail and engaged us throughout. We would ask for Jon again. Parking was so convenient and had indoor access on a rainy day. God willing we will celebrate there again.

Yelp
Amazing service and delicious food. Our server had great suggestions. Shellfish is shelled at your table by your server. Great atmosphere and overall a wonderful experience for my wife's big birthday.

Rob C.

Yelp
I made reservationsweeks in advance. Went there on Thanksgiving because we wanted a wonderful dinner of seafood and a few drinks. No turkey this year. The restaurant was freezing cold and asked them numerous times to warm it up - but to no avail. I ordered the clam chower $14 and my wife ordered the Caeser Salad $14. soup was good. The salad was terrible - limp lettace and too much dressing - my wife refused to eat it. For dinner, my wife ordered the lobster stir-fry $45 and I order seafood medley lobster tail, shrimp and scallops $55. My wife's dinner arrrived and she was hungry - the she took her first bite and spit it out as it was something god awful. I tasted it - it was a taste not of this world - It was putrid and not tolerable. How in the world can you ruin this - they figured it out. The tiny lobster was rock solid - being over cooked. She only had one bite. My dinner was the smallest portion I have ever seen. I thought I was being spoofed and hoping for my real dinner portion to arrive soon. That never happened, It was so small that it was a nightmare. In appitizer was probably bigger. Also, it was all way overcooked and tasteless. We will never go back and and we telling all our neighbors and friends (who live downtown) of our traumatic, expensive $210 experience. Rob Clapp We went to the Depot for a drink to calm down as it was one of the greatest disappointments of our 74 years on this earth.

Yelp
A very traditional fine dining place. The services and food are on par with the high price. We enjoyed the everything we ordered though. I loved the sea bass which is a seasonal choice. If you are into blue ambiance, this can be a nice place for a date.

Yelp
Wow what an amazing experience from start to finish! We went for our anniversary and the server Tiffany made it so memorable, including a personalized menu and complementary baked Alaska. The food was delicious. We started with caviar and champagne to celebrate. Tiffany was very knowledgeable and offered suggestions for food and drinks, which were spot on. We got the appetizer crab cake which was pure crab meat! For a main we shared the swordfish which had excellent flavors of sweet and spicy, it was a decent size even to share. The ambiance is fancy and cool with the blue lighting. It's a large dining area with plenty of seating options. We had a big booth to ourselves. What a treat!

Yelp
Our dinner was fabulous at Oceanaire on Friday, May 23,2025! The server told me that she could get an order of large shrimp for me even though it was specifically not on the menu! It was SO delicious and my husband loved the salmon he ordered, too. The server was absolutely amazing and so knowledgeable about everything. She was also very kind and sincere! Loved the entire evening!

Yelp
Came here for a birthday dinner. They had customized menus for us that read "happy birthday" for my brother. Super neat! We all got a few drinks, and I opted for the sparkling raspberry sangria, which was spectacular! I am a super "what's the sweetest drink that you have?" person because I do not like the taste of alcohol and this drink was PERFECT! Tasted like juice but I definitely could feel it hit me halfway through. We got the mashed potatoes, truffle fries, and cream corn for the table. Mashed potatoes were creamy and very finely mashed. The truffle fries were excellent. The cream corn was a bit on the sweeter side but was good nonetheless. I shared the Artic Char ($150) with two others. I am not familiar with fish at all, just the usual salmon, tuna, and bass, so I did not know what to expect. Our server told us that this would feed 3-4, so that is why we picked this fish. It came out and this thing was M A S S I V E. They deboned the fish right in front of us and it was super cool to see. We each got a good portion on each plate and there was honestly STILL 3/4 of the fish left. Not kidding you, a whole half was still to be eaten. Even with the rest of our 6 person party taking bites out of it, we had plenty to take home. Besides the quantity, the fish tasted like salmon. It was fresh and the outside skin was so crispy even when it was left sitting for some time! Beware if you are celebrating and bring a cake in, they have cake cutting fees! They charge $5/person. This was a very surprising charge on the tab. This place is definitely more upscale than I'm used to, but the food and drinks were great!

Yelp
Talk about above and beyond, Everything was picture perfect from the moment we pulled up we were greeted with open arms by the kind young Valet's and the valet even assisted my handicap wife up the curb and to the front door of the restaurant. We were met at the door by a manager and hostess who brought us in and made Oceanaire feel like home as soon as we got there. Our needs and comfortability felt like first priority from our kind hearted server Doug! He was both charismatic and very knowledgeable of the menu and wine which seems rare these days. The Food was incredible and we are looking forward to our next visit!

Yelp
We had a mixed experience at this Oceanaire location. The food good but the overall dining experience was lacking.

Yelp
We went on a Sunday evening for my daughter and mine's birthday. The atmosphere is very elegant and noise level quiet. We had starter drinks: reposado tequila shots, bloody Mary, captain diet. All pretty standard tasting. Daughter and her dad ordered fresh oysters, they were very small compared to other seafood specialty restaurants. Taste was pretty good. I has sesame seared ahi tuna, it was delicious and cooked perfectly. We also has shrimp and grits, the shrimp was jumbo in size and yummy. The grits were light and fluffy and delicious. My daughter and mom shared steak and lobster, they both loved it. The steak was mouth watering tender. Melted in your mouth. They made us personalized menus with our names for our celebration. They gave us each a fiery baked Alaska dessert, amazing! Server was great. It's a $$$$ restaurant that is a yearly treat for our special occasion.
