The 14 Best Restaurants In Cabo San Lucas & San Jose Del Cabo

"It doesn’t get more Cabo than The Office, where you can sit on the beach, watch the waves come in at Medano Bay, and enjoy the menu consisting mainly of classic Mexican dishes. Local legend has it that The Office was started by an expat who came to Cabo in the 1970s when tourists were basically nonexistent. These days, it's one of the most well-known places in the area, perfect for a meal fueled by burritos, fried fish, hamburgers, and fruity cocktails, all of which taste that much better with your toes in the sand. We came here for breakfast and overall had a really pleasant experience. The food was good, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. One small disappointment was the seating/view situation. We were hoping to enjoy the umbrella setup and beachfront view, but most of the tables on the sand appeared to be reserved for larger groups. As a party of two, the smaller tables were already taken, which limited the experience we were looking forward to. That said, everything else was enjoyable, and we’d definitely consider coming back—especially if seating options for smaller groups were more available. Solid spot with good food and service.

Absolute party from the second you walk in. Drinks are legit strong, food is on point, and the vibe is unreal. You’ve got tequila flowing, killer Mexican energy, and a beautifully decked-out spot right on the beach with epic ocean and ship views. Service is lightning fast — these servers MOVE. The roaming mariachi band taking song requests is next level (pretty sure they know every song ever written). Don’t skip the ceviche or lobster tacos — straight 10/10. Book ahead. Worth it.

Solid restaurant, great place for good vibes as its just on the beach. Would recommend for lunch. Service is a bit slow. We started with the queso fundido which was delicious and left us with little room for the mains. We got the tuna tacos and the tampiquena which was cooked well. The chicken enchilada was not super flavorful and the quesadilla that it came with, so I would recommend not the combo. No wait and no reservation.

We went to the office twice during our visit to Cabo San Lucas in December 2025 once for lunch and then for dinner on Christmas evening. Both times the service was great. The crowd was fun. The servers were on point. The food was extremely fresh. Fish tacos are brilliant and overall the experience was wonderful. Would definitely go back. Highly recommend the sea bass fish tacos, guacamole and chips, the coconut shrimp.

Dinner on the beach! The ambiance was nice, got to see sunset and boats going back to the marina. Service was great and the food was delicious. A bit on the pricey side but with the atmosphere and right company it’s worth it. Would recommend.

This place is one giant party! The cocktails are strong, the food is good, and the atmosphere is 10/10. It's festive, it's Mexican, there's tequila being poured everywhere you turn, and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. There are tables available inside and also tables out on the beach, with colorful blankets provided should it be windy at night. It's a great spot for dinner in Cabo, albeit touristy. Get the frozen margarita! It's giant.

The location is great. Right on the beach with wide views of the sea and the ships. We sat almost right next to the band, which was quite good, so it was a bit noisy. The service was good and fast. One food was great, the other part was quite dry. The drinks were good. Definitely worth a visit. Better reserve in advance.

Delicious food and even better, and strong, cocktails. Steak & shrimp fajitas dish was delicious! Their passion fruit margarita was very good as well.
