Salty Seattle’s Instagram-Famous Croissant-Shaped Gnocchi Is Now for Sale at PCC Stores | Eater Seattle

"When Oprah put Crocchi on her “Favorite Things” in late 2022, I watched Nicholson scramble to put together a pasta factory in a matter of weeks—“an utter trial by fire”—as she and her partners figured out how to ship frozen pasta across the country; the facility is hand-focused, she remains very hands-on on the factory floor, it currently produces enough to send each PCC location about 10 boxes per week, and Nicholson is deliberately cautious about scaling up—hoping to “find our sea legs” and not to “go too big too fast” despite interest from large retailers." - Harry Cheadle

Along the historic Route 66 is a restaurant named Old Spaghetti Factory. My husband and I love going here because some of their meals come with a drink, soup or salad, and ice cream. On Mondays, we got a deal with two drinks, two salads, 4 meatballs with Spaghetti, and 2 ice creams for $25. It was delicious. Their service here is friendly and fast. My usual food order is usually Creamy Pesto salad, Brown butter Mizithra with Angel Hair, and Spumoni ice cream. I love asking for extra creamy pesto dressing and extra brown butter to dip with the free sourdough bread. I have been to other Old Spaghetti Factory but what stands out for me at this location in Rancho Cucamonga is the Route 66 on their red trolley. You can request to be seated there to eat if you like.

Nostalgic lunch spot. I used to come here with my grandparents. Stopped in for lunch at The Old Spaghetti Factory and had a great experience! The atmosphere is unique and charming. I remember always wanting to sit in the red trolley car. It's a cool spot with the complete Route 66 vibe. It's a really fun and nostalgic setting that adds to the meal. I ordered a fresh salad with avocado, tomatoes, croutons, and a creamy dressing — everything tasted super crisp and flavorful. Along with it came a loaf of warm sourdough bread and whipped butter, which was the perfect way to start the meal. The bread was soft on the inside with a nice crunchy crust, exactly how you want it. Service was friendly and quick, and the menu had plenty of classic pasta options, too, if you're feeling more indulgent. This spot feels like a perfect mix of hearty comfort food and laid-back fun, especially with the cool, vintage decor. It's definitely worth a stop if you're looking for a casual, satisfying meal.

Google
The food was alright. Nothing amazing and nothing bad besides the strawberry mocktail. That was actually awful, like tasting TV static with a horrid aftertaste. The chicken picata was nice. The atmosphere was a little off, but it had a nice vibe to it. And lastly, NICOLE, you were the absolute best server and amazing all throughout. You made that experience memorable for the whole group.

Google
The decor is charming. The judgemental gaze from various statues, the purple chairs, and dark wood. Food is delicious. Meat balls are big.

We had such a wonderful experience at the Old Spaghetti Factory in Rancho Cucamonga. My child uses a wheelchair and has several autoimmune conditions, so accessibility and comfort are very important for us. We had requested to sit on the patio, which was technically closed, but the staff went above and beyond to make it happen. Our server, Alex, was outstanding—attentive, intuitive, and genuinely caring. He anticipated our needs without us having to ask and made sure everything about our visit was smooth and enjoyable. It meant a lot to us that the team accommodated our request with kindness and flexibility. This level of service made what could have been a stressful outing into a truly positive memory. Thank you to Alex and the entire staff for creating such a welcoming environment. Highly recommend this location for both the food and the exceptional service.

Google
We hit this spot, at least once a year after our Regional convention at Mira Loma Assembly Hall with the family. I had the spaghetti with the Italian meatballs. Everything was delicious. Great service will be coming back.

Google
We have been to a lot of Old Spaghetti Factory locations. This one ranks among the best. The service was fast and pleasant (Thanks Moses!). The food came quickly, exactly as you’d expect from OSF (chilled salad plates, hot bread, drinks on point). The chicken Marsala was the best we have had in a long while. We were thanked for coming in by another server as we walked to the door. Everyone was friendly and warm. Great job, OSF Rancho Cucamonga!

Yelp
I had not been to this Old Spaghetti Factory location before. The vintage interior reminds me of the one that used to be in Hollywood. Like other OSF locations, it is always fun to look at all the items while dining. I was seated in a cozy corner table in the bar area and enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere there. The meal is in three courses so I selected a minestrone soup with one Sicilian meatball in it to start. The soup was hot and tomatoey with various vegetables and ditali pasta in it. The meatball was seasoned well. A big loaf of hot, crusty sourdough also came with this first course. What a good start for dinner! I chose the Chicken Piccata for a change. It came with pasta topped with my favorite sauce, Mizithra cheese with browned butter. The chicken breast came out perfectly sauteed with a light coating of flour. The Piccata sauce had lemon juice, butter, shallots, capers, and finely minced tomatoes. The lemon juice brightened the flavors with its acidity and provided a nice balance to the capers. Angel hair pasta and Mizithra cheese with browned butter was served as an accompaniment to the chicken dish. I would probably ask to substitute the angel hair pasta with spaghetti next time since I feel the side would then have a heartier mouthfeel. However, I did enjoy this chicken dish very much and would order it again in the future. The meal was followed by a dish of spumoni for a nice dessert ending. Service was exemplary by Alex. He was very professional, efficient, and friendly. It is nice to see someone with enthusiasm about his job and he had an overall happy vibe. I had an excellent dining experience at this restaurant.

Yelp
Its our first time ever to the old spaghetti factory! It's such a cute place! The interior was very pretty with all of their antique design Velvet chairs with old school photos frame and an adorable cable cart/train looking seating area Lunch was great, fast and decently priced Came with free warm bread and soup. Little kids get free coloring hat and crayons

Yelp
We come on meatball Monday. Really great price.. Spaghetti and meatballs for 2, 2 soups and all the bread you can eat . And 2 spumoni ice cream . YUMMY For under $30 bucks you can't beat it .. Great customer service as well which was number one to me .
google avatar

Erin M.

Yelp
My fav dish here is the chicken marsala with mizithra spaghetti. The mizithra cheese with the butter spaghetti is so good. You get a lot for the price at this restaurant. The bread was fresh and warm. I did receive 2 dirty spoons though, and I let the waiter know.
google avatar

Yelp
Always love coming back here. Service was great, we brought our own cake for a bday celebration. Staff were friendly and helpful. The place was clean. Food was great as always.
google avatar

Tina H.

Yelp
The old spaghetti Factory just isn't for us. The food was below mid and not the spaghetti we like. The sauce is meh. The service was great super friendly so they get 5 stars! The food gets no stars as no one in my liked it.
google avatar

Vuoch L.

Yelp
For my husband's annual company holiday celebration. We were seated in one of the reserved private dining room in the back. Service was exceptional considering it was a packed room. Each of the waitstaff were attentive with refreshments refills and making sure each guests received their food at the same time in their designated spot. Food... was a set menu, I chose the chicken marsala mushrooms and my husband chose lasanga . Chicken marsala was okay , I prefer the lasagna it has great flavor.

Yelp
Every time I come to town my mom and I come here as she loves this place! I love the fact that your meal comes with a salad or soup and ice cream at the end of the meal. We usually get in fairly quick and we have always had great service! My daughter loves the soup and meatballs! The inside hasn't changed or upgraded in many many years could probably use a little upgrade but it's clean and that's what's most important. There's many pasta options to choose from and every one I've had has been quite tasty!!!

Yelp
1/10/25 Finally, an OSF closer to us!! It does feel like the Okd Spaghetti Factory vibe of the old location in Hollywood (sadly no longer in operation). It has that vintage feel. We were quoted 25 minutes wait but actually seated by our lovely host in about 9, SCORE! Staff are friendly & welcoming. I was not able to explore as I originally planned because it felt a bit more cramped as it was very busy (too many patrons). It does feel like the Hollywood location in terms of the vintage decor. At the old Hollywood OSF, the Trolley is an original cab that was helicoptered in to fit inside the structure. You can tell it was very old & worn unlike the one here. Our server, Aaron, was fairly attentive. He took our order & our food arrived shortly. For the first time, Hubby ordered something different, chicken piccata, but didn't read what it was served with, angel hair pasta with mizithra--which he particularly did not care for at all. Got my usual, hearty manager's special clam & mizithra (w/ browned butter, the aroma is heavenly & so delightfully appetizing). I love their pesto dressing & I requested for a larger side of it, Aaron brought a small container of it. I am taking a note of that. Once our mains arrived, he asked if there was anything else, I requested for another loaf of their amazing sourdough bread, as the one previous was not as hot. Hubby had to get the attention of a busboy to bring us that bread. Hubby loved the chicken piccata, I loved my usual dish-delicious! I usually order it as "hearty" so I plan for a second meal to-go. That second loaf was hot, enjoyed it immensely. This location is in a plaza where Home Depot is, as well as Little Cesar's pizza, Auto Zone & other businesses. It's looking like we found a winner! Hopefully we'll have a more attentive server when we visit next. Or maybe I just need to be more convincing or aggressive with my requests

Yelp
Such a AWESOME experience from start to finish beginning with our friendly greeter. My Zumba students (20) and I celebrated together with a pre Thanksgiving luncheon. We enjoyed a private dining room furnished in beautiful dark wood and nicely decorated..wonderful atmosphere. Everyone enjoyed their meal selections with freshly baked sourdough bread that was irresistible. Trevor, the manager, and our server, Moses, deserve a HIGH FIVE for the great and attentive service we received. You both made our day. We will be back with other friends and family - Thanks so much! Yelp
Went here yesterday for lunch as we always love coming here to eat. We've always had a party of 6 and have been able to sit in the train but yesterday I guess the lady said a party of 6 can't fit in the train. Sure. We've been coming here for a couple years now and have always sat in the train so not sure if it changed or what. We had Amber as our waitress and she was a dream! She was attentive, friendly, quick and awesome! We ordered our apps, food and drinks and everything turned out delicious! Will be back!

Yelp
We have been coming to this location for years. We visited the other night to celebrate my daughter's 16th birthday with our family. There was a surprisingly long wait for early on a Sunday evening, but it was Veterans Day weekend. We were able to wait inside comfortably and we were seated in a nice area with plenty of room for our group. We were a slightly rowdy crowd but no one seemed to mind. I love that they still sang happy birthday to the birthday girl! Nicole did a great job with our group despite the separate checks and the confusion about that prior to our ordering. The food here is always great. The complimentary bread this time was a little tough. We did order the cheesy garlic bread and that was good. I always get the salad with their 1000 island because it's delicious! My favorite spaghetti sauces are their meat sauce and the mizithra cheese. I used to always get the Potpourri with those two sauces and the marinara and clam sauce. Now I just get the Managers special and get my two favorite sauces. Dinner is complete with a scoop of ice cream--either spumoni or vanilla. Go for the spumoni!

Michelle X.

Yelp
The food was good and the service was great. We had a server named Noah who was one of the best waiters we have ever had. He was polite, attentive and got everything right.

Yelp
I have come to all the different Spaghetti Factory's for lots of years. Tonight I went for my birthday this evening at the Rancho Cucamonga restaurant. I had the worse service I have ever had this one. I brought 15 people and we didn't even get part of things we ordered. So Art and Sheila both went to find the manager and the waitress. They found them both of them. Art told the manager exactly what was wrong. Sheila found the waitress and told her that she didn't get what we ordered to take home. Her comment was you didn't pay for it. Not saying I forgot to add it to your bill. We weren't trying to get away with something we didn't pay for. When my daughter said to her I want to pay you for it let's just get it she will pay for it as we have my grandson in the car waiting with my Mom and the grandson. The server's name was Madison. I hope if you have charger party and you get her for your waitress I hope you get better service than what we got tonight. November 23.

Yelp
Chicken Masala with mushrooms along with spaghetti with Mitzithra Cheese Garlic Cheese Bread and Lasagna all good but the spaghetti Mitzithra was a little dry Italian sausage good Service Very good Ambiance Always good

Yelp
Great service and the food was just as good as I remember. The beautiful setting is nostalgic and makes the visit special.

Yelp
Great service and amazing food would recommend to family and friends. If you're in the area it's a must

Yelp
This location always gives us quick service with the right amount of being checked on by staff. I love the Mizithra cheese brown butter pasta. The chairs are so funky I love it

Yelp
Old is most definitely right! Since 1969 this family owned restaurant has been serving affordable three course meals and it's still going strong. One of the main attractions getting attention is their Spaghetti Mizithra cheese dish that is a family recipe and after tasting it I finally know why. And that brings out the fun fact alert! The trolley car that's displayed inside was found in a field then refurbished and you can dine in it. So their three course meal comes with a main and soup or salad and choice of Spumoni or ice cream. For me that's a nice bargain and not too bad but if you're expecting truffle sauce and all the bells and whistles the other local restaurants have then keep moving. Service could use help as well as someone cleaning their sticky tables. Three and a half stars for this experience and that's my take, Peace out.

Yelp
managerial service.bland food for a big price.horrible experience. we were missing items on a take out order.the manager said.....i am sorry and gane me a websitre to explain.that tells me that the manager is unskilled because it should have been handled at the source.

Stanya C.

Yelp
Sadly disappointed the old spaghetti factory held many fond memories for us as a family. Had never tried this particular location. Service was bad and awkward almost as if serving us was a Great inconvenience. Food. Was bad. Hair in the butter. Was told by server with ponytail (male) "bread is complimentary to the people who eat it. We don't just bring it out. It costs the company a great amount of money. " Ambiance was great. But the service and food was bad sad to say.
google avatar

Sasha P.

Yelp
The service was not on point at all. The server must have been new. He never checked in on us except when he brought over the bill. We did enjoyed the food.

Yelp
Went in for our Friday night dinner, as soon as you walk in the front door the design and decoration of the place was amazing. Got sat working 5 mins next to this awesome lol train shaped seats lol must say my kid loved it. Service was extremely fast young lady had a great smile and attitude. Answered all our questions and hd great recommendations . Started with the bread and artichoke dip had great flavor, We ordered the fettuccine alfresco for my daughter who said it was AMAZING! Also got the garlic mizithra with angel hair pasta and the meat lovers treat both had amazing flavors and perfectly cooked! Loved that we also got an ice cream to finish it up! Can't wait to go back to try other plates

Yelp
We came here on Wednesday to celebrate my Dad's birthday. We showed up at 3:00 to have some drinks in the bar but there is no bartender until 4pm when happy hour starts so the manager had to serve us. He was great. I think his name was Rob. We moved over to a dinner table and continued the party. My husband got lasagna which he liked. My Dad got a full order of Mizithra which is always delicious. I ordered the steak, broccoli and Mizithra. I highly recommend it. My mom got Chicken Picata and Mizithra. She loved it but she said next time she will request the Mizithra be served on a separate plate because she did not want the Picata sauce mixing with the Mizithra. We ended up wiping out all their Coors Light bottles and we had to switch to Ultras. For dessert we got one Chocolate Cake, one Tiramisu and one Cheesecake. All were good. We wished the cheesecake was ice cold it was more room temperature. Great service. Great Atmosphere. Great food. Great time.

Yelp
Always enjoy this location! One of our faves. Not too crowded during lunch and service was nice and quick!
google avatar

David G.

Yelp
So for me, the bread is the star of the show. The bread is hot and crunchy on outside soft and warm on the inside. Their pasta dishes are just mediocre. This time we went we had to wait for somebody to see us and then it felt like they were totally understaffed. Our waiter was super slow. It took us forever to get anything. I ordered a salad that when it came, they told me oh by the way we ran out of avocados I ordered it with chicken and they forgot the chicken I had to flag our server down anytime I needed a refill on my water or more bread. The service was just bad. The restaurant is very nice inside, look & feel is great but this visit the service was terrible and overshadowed everything else.
google avatar

May C.

Yelp
The noodles were perfect and had a lot of mizithra cheese, unlike some of the other OSF locations I've been to. This location does not have ranch dressing for some reason. We were told that they have never had ranch dressing, much to our surprise and that of the party seated next to us. The waiter, Justin, was efficient and kept checking up on us. Overall just a good experience to have with family or friends.
google avatar

Monty F.

Yelp
The food and service was great . They brought back the Tenderloin. So good . Will be back soon !
google avatar

Ame M.

Yelp
We LOVEEEE spaghetti factory. But let me tell you, If you order take out or delivery something will ALWAYS be missing. Tonight is the third time in a row. First the ice cream, last was the salad (we called both times because the delivery service had picked up the order completely wrapped so it was not their fault but the restaurants. DoorDash refunds you a couple dollars. The restaurant tells you you can come pick up your salad or ice cream. Ridiculous when you specifically are paying to have it delivered now you gotta leave to go pick everything up and you're not even compensated a little bit extra. Now tonight we ordered from them the kids love the bread and of course got home, NO bread ‍ I told my daughter to triple check because I know how they are, but the bread slipped her mind. Not even worth picking it up for them to just give us something that would've been free anyways but sure wish they would pick up the slack on double checking to go orders.
google avatar

Carla s.

Yelp
3 course meal- soup or salad, entree and ice cream of choice- I always get Spumoni, which consists of Pistachio, Cherry, and Chocolate! Also get yourself an Italian soda and keep the souvenir glass! Decor reminds me of the Gilded age.
google avatar

Cecille L.

Yelp
I go here strictly for the nostalgia. The atmosphere and food always bring back memories of when I was young and I continue to take my (grown) kids to The Old Spaghetti Factory to build our tradition. So far, it's 3 generations and hopefully I will still be around when our fourth generation is present. I was disappointed in my last trip. Seems like the service level has plummeted. The hostess in the front was deeply involved in a conversation with a fellow male employee that it took a good 6 minutes before they noticed me and my family waiting in the lobby. My waitress looked like she didn't want to be at work that day. The place wasn't busy at all but for some reason, the workers weren't feeling it that day.
google avatar

Joel S.

Yelp
Been coming to this location for years! Spaghetti Factory since I was a kid, many years. Of course portion sizes and prices has changed throughout the years but the quality hasn't! You get a good 3 course meal for the price and unlimited fresh baked bread included! The service, top notch! Big enough place for families to enjoy or even a date night for 2!

Alex E.

Yelp
I would give this location a "-5" if I could. I attended an event at this location that had 25+ attendees - the tables were not set up on time, lunch was served late, they didn't offer to refill water/drinks during the 1:30 hours we were there for a group of about 25 people, they didn't clear the salad dish before serving the main dish, completely missed serving lunch to one attendee, brought dessert as people were leaving the event and to top it all off, when the manager was contacted to express concern on what happened, she was quick to make excuses for why they didn't do a good job and blamed the organizers stating "We were trying to accommodate the organizers request to serve food without causing interruption to the presentation in progress and did the best we could". during the entire conversation, there was defending themselves and blaming the event organizers and lack of taking ownership.
google avatar

Gail S.

Yelp
Their meatball Monday offer is fantastic! Bread, soup or salad, spaghetti, drink/wine, ice cream for 2 people for $25. You can't beat that. The food is delicious and the service is top notch. I hope they keep this offer going!

Tina C.

Yelp
The service was terrible we finally had to leave and go to Venice spaghetti down the street
google avatar

Sarah G.

Yelp
I'm glad they have a nice, protein-y salad on the lunch menu because my friend wanted to eat pasta today and I did not. I got the blt salad and added chicken. It had a bit too much dressing imo but the lunch size was perfect for a meal and had lots of bacon and avocado. My kid loved their fettuccini Alfredo and minestrone soup. My friend got lasagna and that thang was huge! We also had some kind of cheesy bread for an appetizer (I like Little Caeser's better). Service was pleasant, informative, and we were checked on at appropriate intervals. The interior of the restaurant is something to behold, in a good way. Probably a great place to take out of town guests if you want to show off middle-class-fancy style.
google avatar

Michelle Q.

Yelp
First time at the Old Spaghetti factory and it was okayyyy. The restaurant itself was pretty cool, it had these trolley cars that were staged and dining tables inside. The lighting was dark and dim, not my preference. The food was subpar, I think Buca tastes better and their service is friendlier. The chicken Marsala was on the smaller portion side however the accompanying pasta was generous. Fettuccine Alfredo was dry imo, however my hubby enjoyed it. The star of the night was probably the bread, nice and warm. Requested olive oil and balsamic vinegar to dip in- so good!
google avatar

Alejandro S.

Yelp
Spaghetti Factory felt like a restaurant at its peak but It felt great it has that old school family dinner vibe how's was your day type of conversations. Everything was good, great portions and reasonable prices. Note this is not your modern type of restaurant. These are 3 Course meals comes with soup or salad Ice Cream -Sicilian Garlic Cheese Bread: Toasted bread threes different cheeses and garlic with homemade Marinara Sauce very recommended for an entry. -Chicken Parmigiana: Well seasoned chickens breast tender with a layer of melted cheese and Pomodoro sauce poured on top served with spaghetti on the side with their homemade marinara sauce. -Spicy Spaghetti Vesuvius: A spicy blend of tender chicken, sausage, and diced meatballs with green peppers and onions. Seasoned with Tabasco and Sambal Chili Paste. -Chicken Marsala: Well tendered Chicken breast smothered in Marsala wine sauce and mushrooms with the company of spaghetti with Mizithra Cheese. -Pot Pourri: is Meat, clam and spaghetti noodles with mizithra cheese, brown butter and marinara sauce Overall we enjoyed our quiet family dinner

Yelp
Jonathan was our server. The inside is very different than other restaurants. The chairs are really nice and it's very pretty inside. I had the pleasure of going for my birthday today. The food was really good. I recommend the sausage and spaghetti sauce was really good. Also tried the cheese bread with added pepperoni, this ice cream was also very delicious. I highly recommend visiting the old spaghetti restaurant I would be back again. Service was great.

Yelp
Amazing service the staffs are very nice . I love the variates of pasta choices .. I always come here and the service is outstanding.

Cesar And Desiree A.

Yelp
If you want a nice family outing in a cozy environment, yet with a decor of historic yesteryears and friendly staff, then this is a cool spot to check out. The food is typical of a pasta place, but the differentiating factor here is the Mizithra cheese dishes, and why we keep coming back for it. Yum! A stand alone restaurant with plenty of parking and decently priced for cost conscious consumers, it's a solid bet for families or young couples alike.
google avatar

Tamara S.

Yelp
Solid lunch experience. We were actually headed to try out Jollibee for the 1st time but saw this joint and decided to give it a whirl. I love the Riverside and Ontario locations. Come to find out there are over 20 throughout the US. Wow. I am allergic to tomatoes, so I am limited to what I can order. Browned Butter & Mizitrah cheese pasta is my go to. This time I got the Manager's Special and tried the clam sauce too. Delicious. The fresh bread is tasty. Hubs ordered mushroom marina and loved the glistening sautéed mushrooms as well as adding a meatball on the side. The pesto ranch salad dressing is so unique and refreshing. I had a glass of Sangria that was good at first but ended up very sour. I won't order that next time. If you are craving a unique, eclectic atmosphere and solid Italian eats, stop into an Old Spaghetti Factory.
google avatar

James I.

Yelp
Got a lasagna takeout was delicious and easy to order and pick up. It came with a minestrone soup and some spumoni so and excellent deal as well
google avatar

Kat N.

Yelp
Food was better than I remembered. The Caesar salad was served cold (which was excellent) and tasted good. The chicken parmigiana came out piping hot. It wasn't bad. The spaghetti sauce was only okay. Not enough flavor. Spumoni ice cream was fabulous. Ordered meatballs separately and they are lukewarm and rated ok. Service was slow because they only assigned one server for the 16 of us. The server was very nice and did his best.
google avatar

Yelp
Outstanding Service, food and atmosphere!! The deserts are absolutely delicious.. Servers are very kind and welcoming.

Yelp
First of all the reservation process worked perfectly. We had a party of 6 for dinner. We were fortunate enough to be served by Darla. She made the dinner very special. The setting was very comfortable. Darla took great care of us as she also took care of 3 or 4 other groups. We will certainly ask for her when we come to OSF again. Oh most importantly the food was all fresh & delicious!!
google avatar

Jennifer S.

Yelp
We have been frequenting this location for over 10 years. For the most part the food and service has been pretty consistent. We recently came with the family and had a great experience. The kids love the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken or shrimp. I get the chicken Marsala with brown butter and Mizithra. I always love my meal! All the dishes do come with a side salad or cup of Minestrone Soup as well as a loaf of bread. This time the salads were practically frozen but we didn't really complain since they never eat it all anyway. My cup of Minestrone was just fine. They also offer ice cream at the end which we hardly ever get cause we are super full by then. Overall, this OSF hits the spot when craving for Italian and we will keep coming here to satisfy our cravings when they hit.
