New ‘Top Chef’ Judge Is Top Chef Winner Kristen Kish, Replacing Padma Lakshmi | Eater Austin

"A new Vietnamese restaurant in the Gateway neighborhood, One Pho (10721 Research Boulevard, Suite B110) is owned by Dao Nguyen and specializes in stone pot pho, where the broth arrives bubbling in a stone bowl while noodles, meats, and vegetables are served on the side for diners to add and dip as they like; the menu also includes dishes cooked in cast-iron skillets and other Vietnamese preparations." - Nadia Chaudhury

The One Pho - Review - North Austin - Austin - The Infatuation

"Specializing in hot stone pho—a kind of DIY, hot pot-pho hybrid—The One Pho is a Vietnamese restaurant near 183 and Braker Lane. In addition to bowls of hot stone pho, expect to find other Vietnamese dishes served on cast iron skillets, including bò né, the popular Vietnamese version of steak and eggs." - Nicolai McCrary

Google
The best Vietnamese restaurant in the Austin metro. I've been looking all over town reviewing Vietnamese restaurants to find quality equal to or better than I found at home in Houston. This is that place. The best pho I've had was their Bone Marrow Hot Stone Pho. Rich, savory, and DEEP bone broth plus house made noodles. The best Banh Mi I've had was their Coldcut Style Banh Mi. Amazing baguettes, pate, and ample meats. A new dish I tried was their Bò Né Combo (House Favorite Combo), which blew me and partner away. The Vietnamese sausage & meatball were flavor explosions. Their Kumquat Sugarcane Juice was the best I've had as well. Sure it can be a bit pricey for some items, but it's on par for Austin pricing and all the items were worth EVERY PENNY. I cannot say more good things about this place. I live closer to Austin staples like Fresh Bowl, Pho Phong Luu, Sip Pho, Bep Saigon, Tan My, and Pho Saigon, but no longer feel the need to go to these restaurants anymore. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Austin now.

Google
Incredibly high quality and fresh food! The broth is to die for. I had the smoked brisket pho and wagu beef hot pot, would highly recommend both. Lastly, the service is so considerate and attentive, great recommendations and very prompt! Great place to eat solo or with a big group!

Literally went twice in a roll in two days! Big serving size. Pork chop is amazing. Meat sauce on top of dry noodle blew my mind!

Google
Very friendly staff who provided excellent customer service. I have to say sometimes they are a little pushy about having you order quickly but their menu is so big, which makes it hard to choose right away. The baked bone marrow is tasty, just the right amount of seasoning and super soft. The crunchy baked catfish requires a pre order. The prices listed on their website are incorrect. You can choose from small, medium, or large fish depending on the number of people in your party. The meal comes with spring roll paper, dipping sauce of your choice, and a big plate of veggies. I wished that they gave us more of each veggie instead of just romaine lettuce. The fish was super flaky and soft. I had 4 adults in my party and it was enough for us along with two appetizers. I heard from a friend that they make fresh noodles in house but you must request for them. Highly recommend this place even through their prices are a little higher than some places.

Google
I have tried their soup and vermicelli bowls. The food is fresh and tasty. The place is clean and staff is friendly and attentive. I love their beef soup the best. My new favorite destination when craving for Vietnamese food.

Google
Went to dine in once and had a good experience. Good portion size. Then ordered to-go today, this is the portion of meat. Way smaller than dine in. The tiny piece on the fork is all the beef that we got. It was literally 3 beef slices.

Google
Great lunch spot. Very fast service. Delicious pho Had the classic pho w rare beef And regulat noodles. (You can choose homemade noodles as well I believe)

Google
The One Pho is a great spot for Vietnamese food! We ordered a variety of dishes to try a bit of everything, and it was all very tasty—fresh ingredients, rich flavors, and well-prepared. The service was also excellent—friendly, attentive, and fast. It’s the kind of place where you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in. Delicious food, great service, and definitely a place we’d come back to when we’re craving good pho and more!

Yelp
Really incredible Vietnamese food at great prices. The Spring Rolls ($7.50) and Pork Skewer with Steamed buns ($8.50) were both amazing. Both are well made and took me to Flavor Town. I definitely am trying to come back for the pho and the bone marrow dishes. Other items on the menu include your typical Vietnamese fare - banh mihs and vermicelli bowls. The staff is kind the interior is clean and non -pretentious.

Yelp
Went here for catfish springrolls (you have to order a day in advanced for them to prepare it for you) and it was amazing! I loved how they cooked the fish and there was plenty to eat for 5 people. We got the large size and it came out to be a little under $100. The staff was very friendly and asked us if we needed anything often while eating. I will definitely be back for this again and try their other dishes!

Yelp
Pretty good Vietnamese restaurant with options you can't find it other places. There's actually a great variety here. Service is kind of a mix but they are usually quite attentive. Bo lo lat - super flavorful. It's not in the main menu but you need to order from a different sheet on their wall. Bone marrow - Delicious but wish they had more pieces of bread. Felt like a waste without more carbs to spread on. Banh mi - reasonably priced but also they have a meatball version that I haven't seen elsewhere except for Dalat! Excited to have this option locally.

Yelp
Absolutely stellar. Hands down the best Vietnamese restaurant in all of Austin. I don't say that lightly either because we've pretty much have tried them all. First off they serve Bò Né, also known as a Saigon Breakfast, 2 eggs served with meatballs, pate, and a baguette for dipping in the sizzling tomato based sauce. Most Vietnamese restaurants don't have Bò Né on the menu and One Pho's is spot on. My favorite is their pork skewer vermicelli bowl. The pork is seasoned to perfection and grilled over an open flame. Delicious. Service is top notch, place is clean, love the open kitchen concept, and parking is plentiful. Really couldn't ask for much else. Again, stellar.

Yelp
I've been here twice within just the past month and the food is solid. I was surprised how authentic this place was since it looked like a chain, but there were many Vietnamese people dining there when we came. Being from Houston, I have a high bar for banh mi and pho, and I would say the pho is great. The first time I got the pho combo the first time and I felt the broth was a bit salty and there was a meat (probably fatty brisket) that was hard to chew. But the second time, I thought the broth was perfect and super fragrant. I personally don't get banh mi in Austin because I haven't found any that match the value and taste as the ones from Houston but this is the closest I've found in town. It's still more pricey and smaller but I'd recommend their banh mi if I were really craving one.

Yelp
High quality spring rolls, inside out. You must try their spring rolls. Beef wrapped in betel leaves are super delicious. It's not too common in Vietnamese restaurants. Flat glass noodle is very well seasoned as well (I didn't take a photo). Overall a must try Vietnamese place in austin

Yelp
We ordered to go and noticed for the $9 kids meal option of meat was not available. When we got home with the order, our kids meal only had noodles and broth. No attempt was made to make it right nor refund for our kids meal. We called them back and my husband call got screened. I called on my phone and was told no manager was around. We have been here before and loved it. Unfortunately, today's experience was not pleasant. Food is good unfortunately $9 kids meal of just noodles and broth is scammy. Hopefully, they look into the online order kids options because it's not useable.

Yelp
The One Pho in Austin is serving up a true Vietnamese gem that you absolutely need to try - their Baked Crunchy Skin Catfish (Cá Nướng Da Giòn). I had the pleasure of watching owner and chef Dao Nguyen carve table side. (Tip: It's preorder only!) I've only had peking duck carved tableside so this was awesome, it was definitely a showstopper. The catfish comes with all the fixings - fresh veggies, rice paper, nuoc mam (fish sauce), and mam nem (fermented anchovies). They even serve it on this genius rice paper tray that keeps everything from sticking. I'm Vietnamese and I've never seen this! We got the large size ($85) for our group of 4, and let me tell you, it was more than enough. We left stuffed with plenty of leftovers. They also offer a small size for $50. So happy to have more Vietnamese restaurants in Austin!

Yelp
Them being closed today (Thursday) is criminal!! lol this is by far top 3 Pho spots in Austin!! Well worth the prices. I've eaten here for the past 3-4 days lol safe to say I'm addicted. I wanna try more items; but you know once you find something you tend to stick with it. But I'll be back with reviews on more items.

Yelp
The only reason you would consider eating here is because there is such a lack of options in Austin for Pho. A TikTok brought us out here, but it was a disappointment. They are understaffed and lazy I believe. The soup gets thrown into a pot frozen and is very bland. I'm confident it's just watered down beef broth. No spices at all. They're very stingy with the herbs. They have good rice noodles if you order the $30 pho but the $15 comes with the plain old dried ones. The brisket and the rare steak are so chewy and full of gristle which some people might like, but it's not for me. The tripe and tendon balls were good, but you only get 2 very small pieces of tripe and zero tendon. The service is busy handling complaining customers and bowls being sent back. We received our meal in this order: bowls of pho, spring rolls, then finally our spoons and herbs. The spring rolls were short, stumpy, and with little tiny shrimp for $8, but the fish sauce was really tasty. With the quality of the beef and the soup, I'm nervous to come back and try the 5 beef dish or the stone pho.

Yelp
Reviewing their latest special, cá nướng - grilled catfish. This is a whole, head on, tail on fish, be advised if you're not used to seeing a whole cooked fish. This is a "roll your own spring roll" dish and then dipped in a fermented fish sauce (mam nem) or regular chili garlic fish sauce. The fish is not deep fried but baked for a few hours to get the skin extra crispy and the fat rendered. You have to call a day ahead for availability and pre-order. I got away with calling the same day but early in the day to have it ready for dinner arrival time. The price is quite reasonable for a whole fish like this compared to other restaurants that offer the same type of dish.

Yelp
Great new spot up north. Drove up all the way from driftwood and it didn't disappoint. We grabbed the last whole fried fish of the day, perfectly steamed for spring rolls. They have some authentic dishes that you won't find other places. This is also the first I've heard of a spot in town that does Bo 5 Mon (beef served 5 different ways). ATX has been asking for something similar, check this place out folks!
google avatar

Sandra K.

Yelp
Ordered it on door dash and maybe it's just me but Houston Vietnamese food is just way different. It's so flavorful and well done. My spring rolls were coming apart when we got them even though they were individually wrapped. They just weren't wrapped tightly enough and the pork pieces were a little dry. Pho broth was tasty but wish it tasted meatier. Got the kids size BoNe and it was good.
google avatar

Kate Z.

Yelp
I was pretty satisfied with this place! It's pricey for pho, but I enjoyed my shrimp egg noodle dish a lot. The flavor was good and the portions were large. It came with some soup as well, which was flavorful. As is the norm for pho places, we were attended to promptly and the food came out quickly. There's plenty of parking in the lot as well as in front of the store! I'll be back, since it offers a lot of non-pho options that I'd like to try.
google avatar

Yelp
It's a decent Pho spot, maybe I should have went with one of their Specialty Pho bowls. But, I can't justify $30 or $38 for a bowl of Pho. Regular P8 Combo $15.50 (Combo is always my go-to anywhere) it didn't have any aroma of spices and dare I say somewhat bland. Garnishing slightly wilted... Bao Buns were fine, solid app option. Service was lacking, asked for two ice waters and he just dropped off two room temp bottles of water on the table and walked away, little strange. Tons of options out in Austin now, Tan My IMO is way better. Or.... for comparison sake, Sip Pho does the same two specialty bowls (Pho Wagyu & Pho Beef Short Ribs - both at $20 a bowl.
google avatar

Derek M.

Yelp
It's a solid spot and gets the job done. Large portions, good pho. I got the p8 combination which is my usual go-to, and also tried the spring rolls. I'd say that the combination lacked tendon which most places include. I believe the price was also a smidge higher than most places. I'd also say that the fluorescent lighting was a bit harsh as an atmosphere critique. Overall, if I were nearby and happened to want pho I wouldn't be opposed to coming back -- but if I were choosing a pho place from scratch there would be a few off the top of my head that I would probably prefer more.
google avatar

Eric O.

Yelp
No complaints. I thought the price a couple $$ to high until I saw the insane portion size. Some of the best I've ever had. Clean, quick, friendly and good. What else could you want?!? Best of luck on the business. The waiter told me it was pretty new. Looks like you are off on the right foot.
google avatar

Karen Q.

Yelp
They have a baked whole fish that I really enjoy! Must order ahead. Or you might be able to get it if you call ahead same day. Comes with fermented anchovy sauce but I also recommend getting the filtered house made fish sauce too to try. Great value.

Yelp
The One Pho is an upscale take on pho with a gorgeous space and quick attentive staff. There's plenty on the menu that gives off the vibes of your normal Vietnamese restaurant with things like bun and pho in regular bowls, you're probably not coming here for those. You're here for what is unique that you can't get anywhere else in Austin and while it's expensive for what it is, got to carve yourself a niche somehow. Came here for mother's day and my wife wanted to celebrate with some Wagyu Stone Bowl pho. She really likes pho and we agreed the broth here is clean and a little sweet. Despite being in the stone bowl, which while does retain its heat well, still requires you to throw the raw meat in at the beginning to cook it in a reasonable amount of time (for pho at least). The One Pho is generous with the meat, but the brisket and flank is par cooked prior to arriving to the table and while we agreed the wagyu meat was really good flavor wise, it's not super marbled cause wagyu eye round? is still eye round. I tried House Favorite Combo Bo Ne, which is basically make your own banh mi on a sizzling cast iron skillet. Lots of meat, two sunny side up eggs and everything brings something interesting to the party. The baguette they give you is crusty, hot and fluffy and was delectable. Of the meats, we liked the beef best, followed by the pork meatball and then the ham. The pate was a bit too funky for us but that's what I expect. All of these were super flavorful and offered good textural contrast. The veggies offer a good palate cleanse. All that said, it's good but definitely overpriced. If you really like pho, it's worth a one time experience but I would probably stick to their regular items otherwise.
google avatar

Carmen A.

Yelp
Definitely satisfied my craving for pho!! We ordered the wagyu pho via doordash and it was delicious. The broth was very flavorful and the portions were huge. Although the wagyu pho was more expensive, the amount of beef they gave us was worth it. I think i could have easily shared it with my partner. Also the sugar cane juice was good as well.
google avatar

Yelp
SO GOOD!! Get the catfish spring rolls. I think about this meal all the time. Service wS great as well:)

Yelp
Never coming back. Tried this a year ago and wasn't impressed but came back today bc I needed a quick hot lunch. I figured they've had time to work out the kinks, but no. Pretty much got our entire order wrong. We got a smoked brisket pho and a chicken (dark meat) pho, both with no cilantro. The waitress repeated the order back to us and everything was correct. It took almost 30 min for the food to come out. Real pho places can bring them out in 5. The food first came out with a bunch of cilantro. When we said we ordered no cilantro, the server took it back and then came out 2 min later saying "no cilantro". Except all he has done was pick out the 2 largest pieces. There were lots of cilantro still floating in there and it reeked of the horrible cilantro smell. The chicken pho came out with white meat, not dark like we asked. This was the most overcooked and dry chicken I've had for pho. It was stringy and super tough to chew There will be no 3rd visit from us.

Yelp
Austin went from only one place to five places for Bo Ne! Bo Ne Dac Biet ($19.50) I appreciate the multiple components and different meats. Could've used some extra butter on the side to fatten up the pate and bread. The pieces of beef was tossed in a savory brown sauce. We were hoping steak cubes where it could be served medium rare, but these were still good with the sauces. The xui mai (meatballs) were simmered in the classic sweet garlic tomato sauce and Vietnamese ham. The banh mi (bread) was on the softly toast side and airy to soak up all the sauce. Although not out of this world, this is the most true to Houston Bo Ne that I've had in Austin. Hot Stone Pho ($30) is like a deconstructed pho is the easiest way to explain. To eat, you test a piece of rare steak in the temperature of broth you want and then add all the ingredients in at once, mix then eat. It's not supposed to be hot pot style where you dip one ingredient at a time, no... The noodles are the freshly made kind. With that said, they lack the chewy texture but it's the most appropriate noodles for this style of eating pho in order to cook through. The meats were very fresh and cut thicker than other pho shops, and the main feature was the bone marrow which worked well because the broth was lean. Speaking of broth, it had a stronger star anise flavor. For price is it worth? Maybe to just try because this is one of those activities that the "richer" in Vietnam does do but paying $15 instead for a regular bowl is just fine by us! There is also a beef rib version for $38 if so desired. Cafe Sua Da (Iced Coffee) was premix but flavor was good. Located right next to Costco on Research where the Russo used to be.

Yelp
Omg! The five course beef! This is so far the best Vietnamese restaurant I've ever been. The quality of the meat in a hotpot served with the wrap and the fish anchovies sauce and the liver patte! The service was good we had a late weekend Sunday lunch. Clean and spacious enough. Everything was good food wise. Coming back!
google avatar

Kenny N.

Yelp
Small Vietnamese restaurant in the arboretum area. The restaurant opening and wanted to try it out. Service need some work. They kept bringing food out to the wrong the table multiple times. They also forget to bring out some items to tables and I notice people kept reminding them. Food is okay nothing amazing for me. The Kroger sriracha doesn't taste like the original sriracha. It is more on the sweeter side and not spicy at all. The banh mi (V-1) was on the salty side. Pho was also on the sweeter side for the broth. Overall, there are other places I would go than here at this time. Maybe as they continue things will get better.
google avatar

Kanya M.

Yelp
Highly recommend the stone bowl pho! The meats like ribeye and brisket are quality and just melt in your mouth. The fresh noodles are the perfect texture and broth has amazing flavor!!

Yelp
I tried this after I saw some influencer post to their story about the best pho places in Austin. I likely won't go back. Service: They are SEVERELY understaffed and have a kitchen that is not made for the number of tables they seat. Went on Sunday for a late lunch. Waited 15 minutes to just get on the list. Multiple tables stayed dirty while people waited because they didn't have the staff. Once seated, we had our order ready because we weren't sure when we would have someone attention again. It took about another 15 minutes for us to get our iced tea. Food: The only thing that stood out was the offering of "wagyu" pho options. The broth was pretty good and they do give a lot of meat. I ordered the S-4 (wagyu, beef rib, etc.). It was served in a stone bowl that overflowed if you added too much to it. We ordered the eggrolls - which, sadly, were not Vietnamese eggrolls and were just okay - and fried okra (which was surprising). I was thinking we would get some Vietnamese spin on fried okra...No. It was just frozen, breaded okra. It was strange. The soy sauce was on the table and in a bottle called Knorr Liquid Seasoning. Bleh. It tasted NOTHING like soy sauce and more like molasses. Lastly, we got pork banh mi's to go. They gave us instructions for heating them up. These were good but, again, nothing special. All-in-all, it was just okay. Not something that, in my opinion, is worth me going through all of this to try again when there are so many great Vietnamese restaurants in Austin.

Yelp
Had dinner with two friends tonight during the one pho's soft opening. The employees are very nice, welcoming, and eager. Between us three females, we ordered one cast iron skillet house favorite combo that comes with a side salad and 1 banh mi baguette, one bone marrow hot stone pho, and an order of pork and shrimp eggroll (4 count) I'll start with the good. The eggrolls were very good. Loved the flavors, the crisp, the portion. $6. Bone marrow stone pot pho. The pho presentation was novelty. It reminded me of a fondue or hot pot. However, if you don't dip all of your meat in from the beginning, the pot loses heat very rapidly and you will be left with rare meat to enjoy. Although, the staff reheated out pot when requested. The broth was unremarkable. The noodles were perfect. The manager mentioned they ordered freshly made/highest quality noodles from California. $30 Last, the Bo Ne skillet smelled so good but was delivered to us at a lukewarm temperature. It did not sizzle or even steam. On the plus side, The bread that came with this entree was so good. It was baked upon order. The pork meatball was my favorite, there's a lot of potential here, if only warmer... 19.50 The portion sizes are adequate and price isn't too bad. *It does seem steep for the stone pot pho, however, there are a lot of components and could be good for diners who like their meat less cooked. I wonder if the pho wasn't split amongst three and eaten singularly, if it would've been a Better experience. Overall, our spread cost $60 with an additional loaf of bread. Split amongst 3 was $20 each. I'll give them some time to figure out some logistics and kinks before returning.

Yelp
Ended up coming here for lunch today while I waited for Costco to complete my tire replacement request, and I'm glad I did! I've eyed this place a few times already whenever we come to the Costco on this side of town, and was very content with the service and the food quality. I ordered the Rare Beef and Meatball pho bowl and this place by far has one of the most generous portion sizes for pho I've experienced in Austin thus far, and this was only the regular size!! I mean I probably got like 10 slices of rare beef and 4 huge meatballs (other places usually only give me two meat balls, maybe 3 if I'm lucky lol). You know the protein amount is generous when I finish the noodles before the meat has been completely eaten haha! Everything tasted fresh and the broth was flavorful, yet not salty. I also enjoyed the longer strands of green onion which I usually don't see at other pho restaurants. I'll definitely be back to try out their hot stone pho bowls (didn't even know they offered this) or even one of their Vietnamese rice bowls in the near future! The ambiance is very casual so come comfortable AND hungry haha!

Yelp
It's a friendly diner style atmosphere. The food is terrific, and the prices are the high-end of modest. I chose the bone marrow appetizer with sliced baguette and pâté instead of an entrée, and I have no regrets. My partner chose marinated sliced beef with rice. Both dishes were fabulous. I had never had sugarcane juice before, it's a lot less sweet than I thought it might be, and I think I would have that again. My partner had a iced Thai tea, and it looked really pretty. I don't recommend the hot tea because, like so many restaurants around, the water is brewed in a large container and sits around so it needs aeration or it tastes stale. This is the second time we've eaten here and both times the food has been perfection. *chef's kiss

Yelp
I visited this place on a little weekend excursion in Austin and was pleasantly surprised! My rule for non-American food is if I can pronounce the restaurant it probably isn't good, but this was really tasty! Even my iced coffee caught me off guard. Service is pretty straightforward, you order and then you pay at the register instead of the table. It's just a cute and casual Vietnamese place, if I were local I'd visit again.

Yelp
Oh my, this is my new favourite photo place! Recently opened, this takes pho to a new level! I went with my mom and we got the hot stone pho which they bring out a bowl of hot soup and you put each of the toppings in. Be sure to cook the meat first while the soup is at the highest tempe. Definitely give this a try, it won't disappoint! Service was fast and friendly. Love the vibes! A bit pricey at $20 for a bowl, but it's definitely different and the portions are huge so I can't complain! My mom and I split one bowl and we could barely finish it even then. The Thai tea was so good as well. Everything about this place was just perfect:)

Anthony W.

Yelp
Really great service from Van! Knows how to sell in a good and easy way. Love this place!

Yelp
I thought $28 for a bowl of Pho is was steep but the clay put pho delivered. It really kept the broth piping hot. So hot I burned my tongue for days haha. It comes with the wagyu meat, it really was an experience beyond your typical pho. The meat is best cooked when you are ready to enjoy it. We weren't told that we should cook it as we go so we had put it all in the broth which resulted in some of the pieces being over cooked. Next time e will be more prepared. The noodles were very good as well though. I'd definitely come back for the clay pot pho!

Yelp
Do you know how Korean short ribs, kalbi, are expensive and now costs around $27 at a Korean restaurant? Introducing Vietnamese short ribs at The One Pho for only $17! It tastes just as good for $10 less than a Korean restaurant. This is a good alternative. I also enjoyed their freshly squeezed sugar cane kumquat juice. The sugar cane reminds me of when I visited Taiwan.
google avatar

Yelp
So good and fresh! The Wagyu pho offered so much meat and came with fresh noodles, amazing! The Bo Ne was delicious ! I always order that if we see it on a menu since it's hard to come by. We ordered that as an appetizer and it did not disappoint. The bone marrow was fine, good but don't think I would order again. Mi Kho was delicious! Don't need to add anything extra to it. Don't forget to get the sugarcane w kumquat, so refreshing.

Yelp
Went here while in north Austin visiting my sister, nice large restaurant with tons of seating, great for groups! The service was very friendly and food came out really fast. I had the short ribs, the portions were huge and the food was amazing. This was probably the most perfectly cooked rice I'd ever had, I ended up taking it home and eating it again that night. My sister ordered the lemongrass beef and I was a little jealous once I got a taste of hers. I will definitely be ordering the lemongrass beef or chicken next time I go! We also ordered Vietnamese iced coffee, it was some of the best I've had, however I don't recommend having it late at night because I was very hyper after that! Haha If you're in the area be sure to stop by here and try their lemongrass entree- thanks guys!

Yelp
This is my new favorite Vietnamese restaurant. Their pho is so yummy, and their staff is so kind! I love their housemade garlic and fish sauce wings. The bone marrow pho is my favorite because they give you huge bones along with some bread and pate. Their pho broth is incredibly flavorful and has a really strong clove-flavor. I also tried my friend's banh mi, and it was delicious. I highly, highly, highly recommend this place. Take it from someone who could eat pho literally every single day of her life.

Yelp
Food: great Service l: ok Happy hour: chicken wing Went at 4 pm Wednesday afternoon. The waitress never give us the happy hour menu until we asked. Water always empty. Food is great, lots of choices to select. This is my fifth time go there in this 3 months

Yelp
I can't decide how many stars. I have to add 1 just to post ... Not good at all. Thankfully I have many more places to try. Ordered Chicken Pho and spring rolls...

Yelp
The stone pho was overpriced in my opinion. It tastes very similar to the regular pho. Service was okay. We went during lunch hour and they seemed understaffed. Haven't had the urge to go back to eat.

Yelp
I had never tasted this beef lemongrass banh mi! The best sandwich ever. The veggies are so fresh and the staff is always nice.

Yelp
The One Pho is consistently excellent! The food always tastes fresh, light, simple yet flavorful. Vietnamese iced coffee is a must! Staff is genuine and prompt. Nicely done!

Yelp
I tried their pho during the soft opening, so I definitely took that into consideration for this review. I do think there is room to improve, but there are pros that should be highlighted as well with my experience. The broth could have been a little more flavorful, but I love the presentation and concept. It is a bit pricey, I think I would've been okay with ordering just their regular pho. The noodles were so good! Reminded me of the noodles I had when traveling to Vietnam. The flavor of their Bo Ne was perfect! Would've been better if it came out hotter and sizzling, to match with the name of the dish :) but definitely try their Bo Ne! Their bread is made in house and was so so soft!! Loved it so much. The bone marrow was good as well. Definitely give them a chance. Service was amazing. The owner of the place came out to talk to us and checked in on our experience.

Yelp
Went there for to go food. The results were mixed. The service was super nice but I didn't get exactly what I ordered for the pho. I ordered P5 and I believe I got either P4 or P6. My wife ordered C1, which was okay. Overall, acceptable, but on the pricey side and I am just not exactly sure why. It was also quite slow to get my to-go order.

Yelp
Anytime I see a Pho place I gotta check it out and this did not disappoint. Customer service was great as well as the food. I definitely will go back and visit more often.

Yelp
Quick service, spacious atmosphere, delicious hot stone pot pho. Like not in the im-so-glad-I-had-pho-so-im-satisfied way, but in the this-is-actually-really-rich-wellspiced-pho-broth kinda way. Lotsa Asians was a good sign. Top tier pho spot in Austin.

Yelp
Checked out the new Vietnamese "The One Pho" and it seems to us that they are still tweaking (or should be) their menu and recipes. I ordered the beef with lemongrass vermicelli bowl. Great presentation and lots of protein, but considering the price is a bit higher than most of our other favorite Vietnamese restaurants, at least you got a bit more. I enjoyed the meal but felt like the beef was so tender that it didn't have that slight beef 'chew' you get when stir frying. It was as if the meat was pounded into tenderness, but don't know how to describe it any other way. The other thing is that the meal left me with a very strong garlic after taste. Very strong for a couple of hours afterwards. I think they could make an adjustment there for sure. The noodles were nice and soft, no complaints there. We also ordered a Bahn mi (ham?) to split between us. The presentation, again, was great and we thought the insides were spot on, really good and tasty. But the bread ruined it for us. This was that soft "Subway" style bread and we really think Bahn Mi's should be only on french baguette style bread. We noticed some of the pho dishes on the menu and felt that the prices were higher than what you see at most local Vietnamese restaurants. We'd have to feel like the extra price would show up in the quality or quantity of what we order. We'll give it a few months and check back. Maybe they will make some tweaks or adjustments, hopefully.

Yelp
Food was, first and foremost, super good. Service was attentive. The place itself was clean and tidy as restaurants go. Parking was easy and there isn't a single thing negative I can say about my first experience there.
