The Paleta Bar opens with gourmet Mexican pops at Shanghai Plaza in Chinatown in Las Vegas - Eater Vegas

"An unusual addition to Chinatown's very successful Shanghai Plaza, New Mexico franchise The Paleta Bar has debuted its first expansion into Nevada, serving a sweet and savory menu headlined by customizable ice pops. Named and inspired by the Spanish version of a Popsicle, customers choose from a roster of a dozen paleta flavors, including avocado, Oreo, mango, banana, coconut, or coffee, followed by a dip into chocolate or powdered chile and chamoy, and toppings of nuts and candy. Diners can also order fruit cups, aguas frescas, elote, and the “Dorinachos,” prepared with Doritos, cheese, elote, and jerky. The Paleta Bar, located at 4258 Spring Mountain Road, Suite A 101, is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m." - Bradley Martin

Got the Dubai chocolate strawberries and a hazelnut paleta dipped in dark chocolate. We had asked for the strawberries to only be drizzled in white chocolate but the worker proceeded to still put all the different types of chocolate. The works were kind and very welcoming, the store was very easy to find and was perfect for a hot day. It’s popsicles done well, recommend being adventurous or feels like a waste of money for a regular popsicle.

Definitely a destination place when you’re in the area. It was our first time trying paletas and we enjoyed it so much, we went every day during our stay in Vegas. Don’t think about the calories or sugar content, just enjoy the mix of flavors and yummy goodness. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating, explaining the process and patient with our order. We tried a mix of flavors but I’m a classic girl at heart so my favorite was the Oreo one. If you’re not in the mood for a paleta, their aguas frescas are super fresh and tasty. My favorite is the watermelon. Perfect refreshing beverage for the hot Vegas weather. I might have gone back for thirds after walking around the plaza. Will definitely visit again.

We went there Saturday about 630p. Lots of free parking but it was really busy. Popular shopping mall and eatery area. Paleta bar has a cool atmosphere. You get to choose an ice cream bar, then you choose a sauce to be full dipped, half dipped, or drizzled. Then you follow after with dry or fruit toppings. My niece got a taro pop, full white chocolate dip, oreo crumb and mochi balls. I got chili mango pop, full tajin dip, chamoy drizzle, mochi balls and gummy bears. I would definitely eat this again... there's so many options.

The Paleta Bar is a Mexican chain that specializes in homemade fruit- and cream-based ice pops, known as paletas, with a wide variety of delicious toppings. For those unfamiliar, paleta is the Spanish word for ice pop, and this place has truly mastered the art of taking them to the next level. Located in Shanghai Plaza off Spring Mountain Road in Las Vegas, The Paleta Bar offers an experience that is as fun as it is flavorful. Their paletas are handmade daily using only the finest ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality in every bite. The process is interactive—you choose your paleta flavor, then customize it with a variety of sauces and sprinkles, creating a personalized treat that’s as visually appealing as it is delicious. Every flavor we tried was exceptional, with a perfect balance of sweetness and richness. The space itself is small but bright, clean, and aesthetically chic, adding to the overall experience. The staff was warm, friendly, and eager to guide us through the process, making us feel welcome from start to finish. Without a doubt, The Paleta Bar is a spot we’ll be returning to. If you’re in Las Vegas and craving a cool, customizable, and flavorful dessert, this place is a must-try!

Beyond impressed with the cleanliness. I've been in many dessert bars. This one outclassed them all in food prep area cleanliness. Now the ice cream is called palette. It's absolutely delicious. I highly recommend.

Google
What a delightful surprise! I stumbled upon this gem and wish it were more popular. The variety of flavors and toppings was fantastic, and the free samples were a nice touch. The attentive and friendly staff made the experience even better. Every bar of ice cream tasted incredibly fresh and was a generous size. Unlike many ice cream places, the flavors here were true to their advertisements. Plus, the prices were reasonable. The clean atmosphere, coupled with a few seating options, made it a perfect spot for a treat. I highly recommend giving it a try!

Google
Perfect Spot for Popsicles on a Sunny Day! We knew about The Paleta Bar from Instagram and decided to check it out since it was right next to another restaurant we were planning to visit. I’m so glad we did! The place offers flavorful popsicles/paleta bar with the option to dip them in chocolate (milk, dark, or white) and add fresh toppings. We ordered a Coffee Bar dipped halfway in milk chocolate, and I really enjoyed it on my ride back home from Chinatown. The staff(or maybe the owners not sure) were incredibly welcoming, offering samples and suggesting flavors. I even tried Durian, which was new to me, and really liked it. There is limited seating inside, and on a sunny day, it can get crowded. You might need to enjoy your treat in the car if seating is full. Prices can go up to around $9 with toppings and chocolate, but a plain popsicle is about $5. Overall, it’s a fun concept and definitely worth a visit!

Yelp
As a lactose intolerant individual, I appreciate any dessert establishment that can accommodate my kind and this place does just that! Service was fast and easy although it was crowded and the paletas were yummy!

Yelp
This is the best horchata paleta I've ever tasted. What's more, the service is SUPERB. They encouraged me to try as many flavors as I wanted (limited it to 3) and even gave me a tiny watermelon agua Fresca sample as I was making my payment. So kind. There is a little bar with stools for you to sit and enjoy your purchase with AC on full blast. You can get really fancy by getting toppings with your paleta, smoothies, and even fruit cups, but can't go wrong with the basic paleta. Sometimes simple is best!

Yelp
Dessert in Chinatown, Las Vegas, Nevada... I'm quite sure that we don't have paletas in Hawaii. I learned about these frozen fruit treats from my Yelp friends in Los Angeles! Paletas are like Popsicles, but are made with fresh fruits! When I saw The Paleta Bar at Shanghai Plaza, my friends and I went in! The shop is clean, air-conditioned, and has good lighting. There are some bar stools for dining-in and a convenient restroom! Service was very welcoming and friendly! The owner (?) offered us samples of the taro paleta right away... it was creamy and not too sweet! It almost tasted like kulolo without the smokey flavor! My friends got the mango and durian paletas. I got a non-dairy watermelon one! It's very refreshing and kind of healthy... LOL! We highly recommend The Paleta Bar - Shanghai Plaza! It's ranked #11 in the USA by Yelp!

Yelp
Lots going in in this strip mall but gotta try the ice cream bars here. They also have drinks that look very refreshing. There are too many choices so I had to keep my order to a minimum.

Yelp
This is one of the most unique dessert experiences that I've had in Las Vegas! The Paleta Bar is located in Shanghai Plaza. My husband and I visited here, our first time, for dessert after eating at O.Onigiri, which is right next door! Current business hours are the following Monday - Friday: 12:00 P.M - 11:00 P.M Saturday: 11:30 A.M - 11:00 P.M Sunday: 11:30 A.M - 10:00 P.M There are a few steps in making your Paleta! 1) Choose your Paleta There are a variety of flavors that you can choose from! Some of those flavors include Mango, Banana, Taro, Oreo, Bubble Gum, Strawberry, Matcha and so much more! The Paleta Bar also offers sample sizes for you to try out a few different flavors! 2) Choose your dip The flavors include Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, White Chocolate. You can choose to have it plain, half dipped, full dipped, and drizzled! I ended up choosing the Hazelnut with peanuts, dipped in dark chocolate, drizzled with milk chocolate and added strawberries! 3) Top It Off Choose extra ingredients like Pecans, Oreos, sprinkles, coconut and so much more! 4) Make it Fruity You can add custom fruits to your Paleta. Some of the fruit options included watermelon, strawberry, and banana. I ended up adding in some strawberries! My husband also got a medium Horchata! Seating is limited inside the Paleta bar. Bar seating is available along the wall! I enjoyed my hazelnut paleta bar. It had a nice crunch to it! I did have to remove the dark chocolate dipped though! It was a lot of chocolate flavor! The milk chocolate drizzle over the strawberries was delicious though! The team members were super helpful! Since this was our first time at the Paleta bar, the team members walked us through the process of how to create our Paleta bar! They even offered flavor recommendations! I think next time I stop inside the Paleta bar, I'll have to try out their proleta, which is their protein style signature paleta!!

Yelp
Desert Time at The Paleta Bar at Shanghai Plaza. First time here, why did I wait this long?! I really like the concept of The Paleta Bar. Bright, clean and friendly service. I love how neatly organized the bars were arranged from sweet to fruity flavors and the samples already prepared cut into little squares for guests. The dipping station to the variety of toppings were excellent choices and again each station areas were kept tidy and clean. That's a big plus for me. Simple concept choose your Paleta, choose your dip, choose your toppings, end with fruit toppings, pay and WahhLaaa enjoy your yummay treat! By the way, there are other things on the menu like Mangonada, Shake, Mixed Fruit Cups and Aguas Frescas. Don't forget they have Merch available too. On the menu: New flavor - Pecan Paleta ordered the featured item the Pecan Pie "drizzled with milk chocolate, graham crackers and topped with mixed nuts" added strawberries. Shared this yummy treat with my Love. We both agreed that our Pecan Pie was very yummay! The added strawberries was a good combination it balanced the sweetness with a bit of tartness. We will be back again.

Yelp
The Paleta Bar is the best ice cream shop at Shanghai Plaza. You'll find them next to 85°C Bakery Cafe. Inside has limited seating and good music. They offer an array of paletas and a choice of dip and toppings. Taro is the most popular flavor for paleta. They also make shakes. I ordered a Paleta Shake ($9) with taro and coffee, somehow the cream made it very sweet. The owner is nice and offered to remake the drink. He made the shake with just taro, adding extra ice to make it less sweet, and it taste good! Service from Jonas, owner Tammy and Jay is friendly, accommodating, and pleasant.

Yelp
The Paleta Bar is my favorite dessert shop in Las Vegas. It's such a refreshing dessert, I could eat it every day, I almost have

Yelp
If you're looking for yummy tasting popsicles where you can add various toppings and drizzles, this is the place for you. You can even sample the various popsicle flavors before deciding on just one (or more haha). I love the chocolate hazelnut popsicle with dipped white chocolate, milk chocolate drizzle with strawberries and graham crackers. Their service here is great--they also let you try the aqua Frescas as well. Love coming here for their yummy popsicles and the ambiance is nice. Parking is a little difficult since the plaza is super busy but it's not impossible.

Yelp
Although it's typically cooler in Las Vegas during mid-October, the daily temperature wasn't as fierce as during our late Summer visit. However, the thermometer still registered in the low 90 degrees, and we felt the dry desert heat to be HOT! Since we ate lunch at Yummy Rice in the Shanghai Plaza, I found another of my Yelp bookmarks a few doors away. The hot, sunny Las Vegas had us screaming for frozen treats, so we walked into The Paleta Bar. We've enjoyed eating Mexican ice cream or helados and refreshing mangonadas while visiting relatives in Los Angeles, but we've never tried popsicles or paletas. Our visit to Shanghai Plaza's Paleta Bar was our chance to experience authentic and gourmet paletas. Upon entry into the clean, bright, and subtly decorated shop, the male (owner?) worker behind the display warmly greeted and welcomed us. He offered us samples of taro paletas, but we asked if they contained dairy since my husband is lactose-intolerant. He confirmed the taro paleta did contain dairy, but my husband said his system could handle the small sample. The male worker showed us a vast selection of unique and bold cream-based flavored paletas separate from natural fruit juice or water-based paletas. Meanwhile, I selected the creamy pistachio paleta, and my husband chose the non-dairy, natural fruit, and juice or water-based watermelon flavor. The male worker suggested customizing my pistachio paleta with either dipping or drizzling dark chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate, or powdered chili & chamoy on the pistachio paleta and topping it off with either chopped mixed nuts or chopped pistachios (additional charge). It was a no-brainer for me to select the dark chocolate drizzle and chopped pistachios. I watched as the female worker drizzled the dark chocolate and scooped the chopped pistachios over the paleta. Meanwhile, the male worker had already placed the watermelon paleta with the cashier, and we could pay for both treats simultaneously. Both paletas had many natural flavors, and their frozen textures were easy to bite into without crumbling off the stick. The flavors were unique and bold, and each paleta could be customized with drizzles or dipping, chopped nuts or candy or cookie crumble toppings, or fresh fruits. In addition to paletas, they also offer customizable fresh fruit cups and aguas frescas.

Yelp
A go to for my family! We love this place! So many options! It's a bit pricey but worth it!

Yelp
We were passing by and decided to try this place out. The service was extremely helpful with recommendations. They let you try samples! We both ended up going for taro base with half milk chocolate dip and pistachios. So good!! They also have drinks. Great place for a sweet fix. Very limited seating inside. Give it a try!

Yelp
It was our first time here and so worth it. I loved the different flavors and the way they welcome letting you try different flavors! The workers were friendly and patient. I loved the setup! Definitely a must try if you're in the area!

Yelp
My girlfriend came for a visit to get a quick break with a bite of cool paletas from the punishing Vegas summer sun. This paletera shop is beautiful as it is delicious. Walking in, it was easy to cool off with the bright and powerful a/c, the aesthetics were modern and featured colorful accents on the menu and on the Labels above their fresh ingredients. Sleek and clean with nice highlights of color. What stuck out to me first when looking at their selection was the range of flavors from popular in different parts of the world. It has the nice Latin inspired flavors i was used to ordering in my childhood growing up in a heavily Latino neighborhood but even featured other exciting flavors including the Taro Paleta i ended up choosing. I didn't want to go too crazy with all their extras available and decided to get a portion dipped under some nice hardened chocolate, I added some strawberries and a lovely nutty crunch. The temptation to indulge in more additions was great but i did practice discipline. The price does sound like a lot for a paleta, but considering the quality fruit, amount of it, unique flavor of paleta, and gorgeous decor i think it was very much worth the value. It was a perfect fit for just for what our blistering bodies needed to escape the heat with a sweet treat. The service was great, the young man was helpful, clear, informative, and quick! We were very satisfied and saw the line quadruple in size as we were exiting the small shop.

Yelp
Francisco and Anna (or Ana) were very attentive while my party was ordering. We mentioned that it was our first time there, and they helped us throughout the whole process. They even offered us samples of everything, which was super nice. Let me tell you, so far, out of the samples I tried, it was so hard to pick just one! I had the Taro Paleta with White Chocolate (Half-Dipped), Oreos, and Fruity Pebbles (Max 2 Toppings). We also ordered the Horchata Paleta with White Chocolate (Fully Dipped) and Oreos all over. It was so good that I debated on getting another paleta. The store was cozy, and the atmosphere was very inviting. I definitely would come here again!!!

Yelp
We were walking and saw this ice cream bar place. We each had one plain bar and they were so good. The watermelon one was really refreshing and they definitely didn't add any extra sugar since you can tell it's super fresh. I also love the Duran one. It's not too sweet but the durian flavor isn't super strong so if you never had durian before you can ask them for a sample. I'm sure you'll like it since we loved ours. My dad didn't like the coconut as much since he said the coconut meat is a bit hard to chew. However the flavor is pretty good so that was our least favorite but I highly recommend you coming here to get one although I think it's a higher price than other places. There is a few chairs you for to sit so any large groups are better off eating outside. By the tables there are a few napkin stations so when it gets messy, don't worry,

Yelp
This sweet treat in the heat was a quick stop in the Shanghai Plaza, we've been here a few times to try their wide variety Here is what we tried: 1. Taro: they say its the most popular of the creamy milk bases. Its traditionally flavored and delish. Such a great creamy texture 2. Horchata: The mix of cream and cinnamon were chefs kiss. I loved the ability to add some chocolate and nuts, but I will say it actually took a lot of the base away. 3. Avocado: I'm such a cream base person and this was such a great sweet balance. The drizzle of milk or dark elevates it. 4. Banana: unfortunately the most artificial one I tasted. 5. Cookies and Cream: absolute must to dunk in chocolate and rolled with Oreos. Perfection 6. Passion Fruit: This is a water base paleta and its good. It melts faster than the milk bases. Does not taste great with any dip. I would only do the water bases as plain. Overall such a quick treat with 100s of ways to make it your own. A little bit pricey, but overall will come back. Service was great, everyone was helpful

Yelp
So worth the drive! Everything is so delicious not to mention the creamy mouth watering popsicles and their aguas frescas taste so natural and delicious. I love how creative you can get with the paletas like dipping them in your choice of chocolate and nuts as well as adding all kinds of toppings. The customer service is amazing, you always feel welcomed right in... You won't regret coming here!!

Yelp
Wow!!! What a treat! Had dinner across the street and came in for dessert. First time, and we were greeted by the most amazing young man! So nice and welcoming. Thank you! He offered us samples, which was nice! We went with pistachio, dark chocolate drizzle with pistachio topping, one with coconut shreds. Everything was so fresh and it's a cute spot for a quick bite of dessert. Super cute inside and decorated very nicely. Can't wait to return!

Yelp
So good. So many items to choose from. Very refreshing. Staff is always friendly, and always clean. 5 stars. Make sure to try the different desserts

Yelp
I LOVED this paleta! It was super busy on a hot day, which to me was a good sign, despite it being off the main Vegas Strip. They had several samples of paleta flavors and gave awesome recommendations when I wasn't sure what I wanted. I ended up getting ube with chocolate (essentially better and prettier vanilla) and lots of fresh fruits. The texture of the paleta is amazing and they used seemingly high quality chocolate. I would absolutely come back here next time!
google avatar

Jackie X.

Yelp
Not your typical paleteria! This awesome spot shares a medium-size parking lot with many other businesses but luckily we found a spot right in front. You come in and see a huge display case of all of their paleta flavors. They have avocado, banana, bubblegum, coconut, coffee, cookies & cream, durian, fruity pebbles, hazelnut crunch, horchata, matcha green tea, pistachio, strawberry, strawberry cream cheese, taro, chocolate, key lime pie, mint chocolate chip, and pecan as their cream based flavors. For their water based paletas they have lime, mango, chili mango, passion fruit, watermelon, and pineapple! Some of them are extra charge and not all of them were on display so double check prices and what they have available at the time. The employees were super friendly and provided samples of the ones we wanted to try. We both decided to get taro. They were pretty large paletas as well. I decided to keep mine plain because I prefer nothing too fancy, especially for sweet items. However you can add a dip of dark chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate, or Tajín & chamoy. Then you can top it off with different nuts, crumbles, sweets, and fruits. You can also have a finishing drizzle! My boyfriend got some of the extra fixings but I was perfectly happy a with my plain paleta. We ate inside. Prepare for it to be busy if a family comes in! It was empty when we arrived but a few small groups came in at one time and it got crowded. Definitely worth the wait. Although a plain paleta is $4, more than a paleta from a stand or cart, the paletas here are on the larger side and they come with a huge array of flavors and fixings! Would definitely come back to beat rhe Las Vegas heat!
google avatar

Yelp
The Paleta Bar is a fun stop to pick up ice cream and cope with the Vegas heat. Swung by after dinner on a Saturday 15 minutes before closing and the service was super attentive and sweet. You can sample bites of all their paletas and cover your choice with a variety of additional toppings. They had some interesting flavor options like avocado (which was actually delicious!) and ube. While they were running a bit low on some flavors, but they weren't actually out of any of the ones we were interested in. Logistics wise, they have some (~10) very clean seating inside and share a large parking lot. Unfortunately, the reason they aren't getting higher than 3 stars is because I thought the actual texture of the paletas was r o u g h. Rather than a nice creamy chew, every popsicle was a brick. They've got to lower the temperature of the display case or something because vibes wise this place was immaculate and it was sad the actual desserts weren't.
google avatar

Lindsay N.

Yelp
Still good as ever! Their most popular is the taro paleta and well worthy. It's a unique flavor that other paleta spots don't have. 2 years later I still get the taro with white chocolate and graham crackers. I also tried their chamoy mango paleta but ultimately went with the taro still. You can never go wrong with it! I saw someone get the mango chamoy paleta with watermelon bites with chamoy on the side and it looked bomb af. I definitely have to get that next time!

Yelp
DELICIOUS! The ice creams are so good my entire party came back the next day for seconds! The taro, coffee, mango, cookies and cream were a major hit! I highly recommend to swing by! They have dippable white chocolate, milk chocolate, or dark chocolate and a variety of toppings. They also offer agua freacas and mangoneadas. The service was great, quick, and so so friendly. I am so glad I swung by. So clean and fresh! The only down side is the location. It is in a tight place where it is so difficult to find parking. But regardless it's worth the time and effort to go and try these delectable treat! 10/10 highly recommend!

Yelp
I stopped by this place on the way to O.onigiri next door. I tried a bunch of samples (durian, horchata, hazelnut, fruit loops, chili mango, pistachio) before deciding "Yes I do want this, but I need to eat lunch first." I promised the guy I'd come back after having my 6 samples. Every sample was delicious and the texture was much creamier than I was expecting. After lunch, I came back. Although I wanted a .5 portion, my sister and I did not want to compromise on flavors so we each got our own. She loved her hazelnut crunch and I loved my horchata. Neither of us added any dips or toppings because the flavor is so good on its own. I thoroughly enjoyed this spot. I have never seen a Paleta dessert spot before, so I am hoping this catches on.

Yelp
Im addicted to this place! Love all the flavors that I've tried but right now avocado is my fave Always get outstanding service from their friendly staff!

Yelp
Can't believe we waited so long to try these paletas! They are delicious. They let us try samples of a few different flavors before deciding because they all sounded so good. 3 out of 4 got the toro and 1 got the strawberry cheesecake. The toppings are so fun! Service was so friendly and inviting! The paletas were so good and refreshing on a hot summer day! Definitely recommend!!

Yelp
I came here yesterday and tried the ice cream first time. Me and my friend could get there by the staff who giving away the sample of the ice cream cuz it was really tasty. We got ube ice cream. It was really creamy, and I could taste of ube a lot. Before I came, I believed it would be so expensive about $11 since they have toppings. But It wasn't. It starts with $4! Staffs was friendly a lot, and ambiance was clean.

Yelp
I was on IG minding my business, being nosy and The Paleta Bar popped up in my feed from a friend's post. The way it was described I was like "Oh yeah, I need to try this". Well I did today and it was DELICIOUS! Now this is not an everyday treat kind of thing, it's $5 and up per depending on what you get. But for a special, it is darn worth it. I had the avocado paletabar, half dipped in milk chocolate, coated w/ chopped mixed nuts and oreo bits. It was so good, the avocado bar was slightly sweet and super creamy. With chocolate, oreos and the paleta bar itself; I thought overdid with the sweetness, its screamed CAVITIES and the SUGARS. I wasn't, it was well balanced, not too sweet, just right. I will go back, they have so many flavors to try. Endless combinations with the flavors, the chocolates (milk, white and dark), toppings and fresh fruit. If you in the area, go try them out for yourself.

Yelp
The service was super friendly and the ice cream options were so good. Definitely will be coming back.

Yelp
If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I have always passed by this placed but never tried it. This is my new favorite place. They have delicious paleta bar. It's like a popsicle/creamie. Dipped in chocolate and then topped with fruit nuts or whatever topping of your choice. They also have fruit cups and frescas. Everything is just delicious. I love that they offer samples for the different flavored bars. I ordered the hazelnut crunch and my husband got the Dino (taro with white chocolate and fruity pebbles). We are already planning on coming back. This will be my go to when I want a sweet cold treat especially during the summers!
google avatar

Amber S.

Yelp
All I can say is, please open a shop in Hawaii! My hubby and I tried this spot on our quick trip to Vegas and we loved it! We've never had anything like it. The gentleman that worked the counter gave us samples of the paleta bars and even threw in a sample of their horchata. I ordered a matcha bar half dipped in white chocolate with pistachio nuts and hubby ordered pistachio bar half dipped in chocolate with nuts. Prices were very reasonable and it's a great way to cool off when the sweltering summer heat comes. Can't wait to go back on our next visit!
google avatar

Yelp
Perfect sweet treat for any mood you're in. Such a good variety of flavors and toppings that everyone will find something they like. Around $4-$8 depending the toppings you get. I love that they give samples too! The staff was super friendly and let us try their agua frescas! Definitely will be back

Great concept! You can pick your paleta have it dipped, then they coat it with more toppings. I'm more of a savory girl so it's not my thing. The non milk based don't have a lot a flavor.

Yelp
Always a great place to grab a ice cream bar. If you want the entire dressed up bar you will spend about 10 dollars. For some reason it smelled like a toilet this time when I walked in. The service was amazing, and it looked clean on the inside!!

Yelp
Our first Paleta experience was in Miami and that set the bar way too high. I've been searching aimlessly to find something close, but the half dozen or so shops we tried in California were fails. The journey has ended though! Who would have thought Chinatown Las Vegas would have freaking amazing paletas. The main problem I had with many Paleta shops was the flavor of the bar wasn't there. They might have all the razzle dazzle chocolate and toppings right, but it was all covering a sub par base. I had the taro with dark chocolate and pecans. Looked just like the picture on the wall except the drizzle was in the tray instead of on the bar. The Paleta Bar does everything right - service, flavors, visuals. Delicious and picture worthy, really no reason not to make a pit stop here if you're in the area.

Yelp
They were apparently closed for the day at 9:15 and couldn't make more why even call yourself a shop if you aren't going to be open till 10 lady was rude to my fiancée as well customer service sucks don't believe the hype

Yelp
First time trying and it was delicioso! We arrived about 15 minutes before closing it was a total of 6 of us and the staff was friendly and helpful. They explained how to choose the paletas & toppings. The shop was clean, the ice cream looked fresh and the toppings nicely organized and clean. I had the taro and wish I could have eaten another one :) rich in flavor the chocolate and pistachios were a nice addition.

Yelp
This is still a five star review. This time, I went for a sweet and savory paleta featuring mango, tajin and Chamoy. The server was super friendly and helpful for my friend who was a first time guest and I will definitely return everytime that I am in the complex. Just be advised that parking can be rough at times.

Yelp
Great dessert shop. I absolutely loved the Taro bar. The flavor and sweetness were spot on. I initially wanted to get the avocado one, but it was a little bland for my taste. There's lots of flavors to choose from. Will sample more next time. Place is small but clean. Staff is friendly. The price was reasonable for the portion size. This place is definitely a must-visit.

Yelp
My pregnancy craving got the best of me and I wanted something sweet. Given the area I was in, I just wanted something quick! I'm glad this place was in the plaza! The store smells great, clean, and the worker was so nice! They have a huge variety and you can choose your toppings! I enjoyed my ice cream! Definitely would go back!

Yelp
Delicious!!! So many ways to customize your paleta; I can not wait to go back!! Super friendly staff and very patient. Loved that they had samples ready to go, and if they didn't they would cut up a paleta on the spot for you. I don't like a lot of chocolate so I am thankful they had a lechera option. I ordered a strawberry cream cheese paleta with lechera drizzle, graham cracker dust, fresh strawberries and more lechera drizzle on top! So so good, I would have a hard time deciding between that and something new the next time I go....and I will be going again! They had stools along the back wall, but it can get crowded inside, so we opted to eat the paletas outside with everyone else!

Yelp
Wow!! After having a great dinner we decided to check out The Paleta bar. And it was delicious. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and asked if we've been there before. Since it was our first time they explained how it works. First choose your paleta that is made in the back, then choose your toppings. I went with the orchata flavor and added milk chocolate to half of it with oreo crumbs and a chocolate drizzle. Let me tell you that combo was perfect. They also have aguas frescas , we tried the watermelon one and it was so refreshing. Definitely will be coming back!!

Yelp
It was over 110 degrees when we visited Vegas. I was dying for ice cream and had to obviously come here as it was walking distance away from our Airbnb (lol, we did walk in that heat, to cut some calories we'd gain with the ice cream and food). I'd actually never heard of a Paleta before and I always get excited about funky (to me it was) ice cream styles and concepts. When you walk in, you're greeted by a friendly lady who helps to taste as many flavors as you went and also tells you their bestsellers. She gave us a taste of the taro herself, and I tasted the pistachio (my usual), the avocado, and the hazlenut. I was confused and she convinced me to choose the Pistachio, haha. Don't regret it. It was great, and not very sweet. Chose the half dipped milk chocolate version (half of the bar is dipped, you can choose full or a drizzle) and added Oreos and nuts as toppings, along with mango. While the Paleta bar was great and the chocolate dip enhanced the dish, the mango was sour and I had to throw it away. I tried my friend's two bars (cinnamon based, and durian, both suggested by the lady as the non common flavors) but I didn't enjoy them. They're just not the usual type of flavors so I wouldn't get them unless you like these in particular. Space was very less inside, so it was pretty cramped as we were eating. They said they have a few branches in the US and I was pretty surprised to hear that. Gotta check them out elsewhere close to home because this was great!

Yelp
I love this place. I dream of these ice cream bars and the only reason why I don't come back as often is I the parking situation is crazy at peak hours. The shop is small and fast. The staff were friendly and helpful. And bars are sooooooooo good! I wish they delivered. Get the taro with white chocolate and almonds!!!

Yelp
Way better than expected. This is definitely a place I would come back to. Love the variety.
