The Palm Court, located within The Plaza, is such a great spot for cocktail + snack. I visited this weekend with a girlfriend of mine to have a drink at the bar, and it was such a lovely experience!! While my friend had a glass of champagne, I tried The Interlude, which was so delicious!! The cocktail was presented so beautifully and it tasted so fresh. For a small bite, we shared their Truffle Fries, which were also so yummy!! Of note, the atmosphere inside of The Palm Court (and the associated lobby which is adjacent to the entrance of The Plaza hotel) is SO stunning. The staff are really wonderful as well - Carlos & his colleague took amazing care of us at the bar. I will 100% be back, this is an excellent spot!

There was basically no service! However, the ambiance is beautiful, and the food is average. My family and I went to celebrate a birthday, and during the two hours we were there, we saw our server about five times. Every time we needed something, they were nowhere to be found. Even the tea had to be refilled by ourselves—they only refilled the teapot after we searched for someone for a long time. We asked for extra butter, but it never arrived. If you’re coming here, you’ll probably have a better time at the bar. That way, you won’t have to pay for overpriced food or nonexistent service. You can enjoy drinks, chat, and take pictures of the beautiful space.

Tea time at the Plaza Hotel in New York City is an exquisite experience. It’s set in the very opulent Palm Court. The lighting is perfect and there was beautiful décor with lush greenery, a stained-glass dome, and shabby chic furnishings. The tea service offers a variety of curated teas, both classic and unique blends. Accompanying the tea are yummy sandwiches, freshly baked scones with clotted cream of course, and an assortment sweet pastries. The presentation was impeccable. Service at the Plaza is top-notch.

The ambiance made us feel immersed in the experience of this iconic tea service. The staff take dress code during service very seriously, which we appreciated, because it added to the vibe. There were enough menu choices for tea sandwiches and sweet bites to accommodate everyone. The tea selection was inclusive for folks new to tea, and had specialty teas for those of us with favorite rare teas. Caviar service was certainly worth it! Added to the experience and was enough to share with everyone at the table with everyone’s favorite accoutrements. The service was impeccable and everyone went above and beyond to create a memorable experience.

We celebrated my Birthday with Afternoon Tea at the Palm Court and loved every bit of it! I was very excited to find they offered a gluten free tea menu. There's only one other place in NYC that offers a GF tea service, but how could you ever beat the Plaza?! Every course was delicious and no one would ever have been able to tell it was all gluten free, the taste and texture of everything was perfection! We can't wait to come back again!

The Palm Court was beautiful. I spent time at the Palm Court and had such an amazing time celebrating my birthday. The staff was very attentive, and it was such a wonderful experience. They even a wrote a handwritten note and provided a delicious pastry. It was worthwhile, and a once in a life time experience.

The Palm court is beyond beautiful. Very family friendly. Not as formal as you think but it was fun to dress up. Took my grandmother for Afternoon Tea. She ordered The Central Park Tea with Jasmine Pearls. I ordered The Plaza Signature tea with Chai & an Island Fever. The Moroccan Spice Lamb was a favorite among us. I thought the Maine Lobster & Caviar was outstanding. I love seafood. The scones with the lime and berry preserves were delicious. All of the sweets & pastries were amazing. The New York Apple, Myer Lemon Pound Cake, Hazelnut Rocher & Salted Caramel Tart were some of the best desserts Ive ever had. It was expensive but it was a lovely experience. I would definitely return.
