"Northern California-slash-French spot the Pandering Pig has three steak specials available for Father’s Day, including a beef Wellington with duxelles, or a mushroom stuffing, and caramelized onions baked in a puff pastry." - Eater Staff

"The Pandering Pig feels like something you’d find at a bed and breakfast upstate. It’s a tiny French spot with exposed brick walls covered in old photographs, and when you stop by, you’ll probably see one of the owners walking around, opening bottles of wine and chatting with various customers. So if you need a charming place where you can talk to a nice stranger and eat a big plate of coq au vin, The Pandering Pig is an excellent choice. Bring a date, or stop by with your family for a nice meal." - Bryan Kim

The first thing that caught my attention about this restaurant was the adorable chubby pig sign hanging outside. Once I came in I was delighted by the decor which provided a soft, comfortable ambience. Our waitress was friendly and attentive providing detailed descriptions of each entrée as well as recommendations for each course. My friend and I ordered the pate appetizer which was delicious and provided a variety of options. For the main course I ordered the lamb which came in a delicate pastry and my friend ordered the shepherds pie. Our waitress recommended wines to pair with our courses which, in my opinion, went perfectly! We ate our courses perhaps a little too quickly each bite was better than the next! The sauces were scrumptious and the mix of textures in my meal in particular was delightful. My friend and I chatted throughout the meal about how we needed to plan our next visit to try their brunch and prix fixe menu, it was all THAT good! I highly recommend coming here whether you live locally or not, the Pandering Pig is worth the trip. I can't wait for my next visit!

The food was delicious, and the atmosphere is romantic and upscale without being pretentious. The servers were friendly and attentive. I had the salmon special, my husband had the lamb shank, and we were both very happy with our meals. The shared cheese board was great too - a good selection of cheese with a good variety.

Delicious! I will definitely be going back again! The restaurant is owned and run by a local husband and wife team. The wife cooks it all and the husband serves it all and they do an amazing job. The portions are generous, and the ingredients are fresh and well seasoned. Looking forward to going back soon.

Have been wanting to come here for a long time and it was worth the wait. Amazing food and lovely atmosphere. They definitely have an emphasis on quality over quantity which is so refreshing. We had the steak special, mussels, and then a killer cheeseboard for dessert. Can't wait to come back here!

Wonderful and friendly experience from owners to waitstaff. Went on a Friday without a reservation and was accommodated without being made to feel like a burden. The food and wine was exceptional and well portioned with interesting and creative twists. Restaurant is beautifully decorated - real flowers! - and had a calm ambience. As a couple who prefer quiet and private dinners for celebrating personal milestones and usually have to sacrifice food or service quality, this will be our new go-to restaurant as they provide both.

Where to start with this one... Let's start with the pros. First off the food is great and the decor is spectacular. It's a quaint and cozy place that has a very intimate feel. AND that's about it... For the cons... the service is really rough. The owner of the restaurant feels the need to come over to you and go through the ENTIRE menu in the most labored and drawn out way I've ever experienced. It's actually painful to sit through. After ordering you can hear him say snide comments to his wife (the chef) in the back about our food orders. He didn't have enough vegetables to make a vegetable pasta... and he didn't have enough coffee grounds to make a cup of coffee?? To top it all off the price is HEFTY. Think that will be the last time we go to the Pandering Pig...
