Elevated French dishes, signature cocktails, and DJ lounge

"The Paris Cafe first opened in South Street Seaport in 1873, and counted Teddy Roosevelt and Thomas Edison among its regulars. The historic French restaurant has been newly restored and reopened, with a pewter bar and a stage for live jazz. There’s standard stuff like seafood towers on the menu, but there is also La Révolution—a $45 tower of pastries that serves two to four. Or just one, if you really believe in yourself." - will hartman, willa moore, molly fitzpatrick, sonal shah, bryan kim
"A historic French-style tavern and bar that has reopened as a collaboration between Legeard Studio and Opus Hospitality; this is Opus Hospitality's first project." - Melissa McCart
"Editor's Note: The Paris Cafe has recently reopened with a reimagined menu. This South Street Seaport spot is more than just a restaurant with views of the Brooklyn Bridge. It serves reliably good food too. Paris Cafe has some Italian and American dishes in addition to French staples like steak frites and a niçoise salad with perfectly soft-boiled eggs and optional seared tuna. An unskippable double smashburger with onion jam is small, but so rich that you’ll be more than satisfied by the time you’re finished. The front room has a classic pub atmosphere with TVs, while the back feels like a very dark bistro. This area is converted to a lounge with a DJ every Friday and Saturday night, so head here when you can’t be bothered to find another place to party after dinner." - Kenny Yang
"A Jean-Georges Vongerichten–helmed restaurant at the hotel, serving food inspired by Trans World Airlines in-flight menus from the 1950s and 1960s; located on the second level of the hotel and open to the public, it leans into nostalgic airline dining executed by a top New York chef." - Nadia Chaudhury
