Popular gastropub with great selection of homemade beers. My friend had the veggie burger which they said was excellent. I had a delicious Ethiopian lentil stew (a special). It was crowded and a little noisy for Tue night.

Linda Spencer

Google
Absolutely the BEST large house salad I've ever had, been coming here since 1997 and always order it with tahini lemon dressing. Perfectly crisp, I'd love to know the lettuce they use, delicious, carrots, radishes, crispy thin slices of cucumber and cabbage. I'm known in my circle as the "salad queen" and so I usually never order salad out BUT People's Pint nails it!

RM R

Google
Best Gastropub in the area and highly recommended. They have food specials daily and everything is prepared exceptionally well. The smoked and grilled chicken wings were off the charts! The chowder was great and the sausage special was the best I have had outside of Europe. The Blue Mushroom burger and Mac and Cheese was great.

Came for the beer, but the food was the real draw in the end. Parking is sketchy, but there is a public lot around the corner. Can't say much for their rotating selection, but I would love to stop by again to see what they offer. Those on tap were excellent especially the oatmeal stout. Food was just amazing and compliments the drinks so well. The squash-jalapeno quesadillas were so much better than I expected. Only downside is that I'd have to call the waiter over frequently for either more food or more drink.

Everything is local, organic and ethically sourced. Housemade everything. Gluten free bun options for burgers/Sammy's. Staff is friendly Prices are high but to be expected given the quality.

Google
I've been twice and both times the food was delicious. Super family friendly, plenty of menu options but a small enough menu that you don't feel overwhelmed by choices.

Derrick Coleman

Google
Amazing pub/brewery. Will always stop in whenever I'm on route 2 now. Had the fiddlehead and bacon salad special and a couple of their beers and everything was exceptional. Bartender gave great service. Highly recommend.

Was there recently and was pleased that the server wore a mask the entire time. I have never tried the Salvadoran dish and was so happy that I did. Flavorful and cooked perfectly. Love this place. Always able to get seated and serviced quickly and kindly. Ordered hot tea and the mug was way too small but that is only a small suggestion for improvement.

Yelp
Wonderful farm to table style food, fresh and good, varied, with the classic pickled egg, salads, or if you prefer a burger or Kim chi dog. Beer outstanding, reliable, and produced here. We came down from Vt tonight with a group of old friends of Ray McNeill, to sample their cask and draft McNeill dedication. Absolutely delicious..full body, malt and hop, beer that tastes like beer. Ray would have been proud. And our server Hailey (sp?) was outstanding.

Yelp
We went to the People's Pint at 1pm on Saturday along with half the town! It seemed we all arrived at the same time and the poor waitperson/host/bus person was rushed off their feet. But all the staff pulled together and provided really good service. Black and Blue burger was cooked as requested and the bun was substantial and toasted perfectly. Kimchi Dogs had us forgetting about sauerkraut. So delicious! We tried a couple of beers on tap including their Octoberfest and the Pirate Ship (?) which was a Hefeweizen. Definitely preferred the Pirate Ship. The Octoberfest was a bit too bitter for us. The dining room is just what you'd expect. A tavern/bar type atmosphere with a boisterous clientele, but you can still have a conversation. We recommend checking them out if you're in the neighborhood.

Yelp
If you're ever in the Greenfield area you have to make a lunch or dinner stop @ the People's Pint - GET THE WINGS!! Omg they are by far the best smoked wings anywhere around. They're freakin HUGE! The other stuff on the menu is fresh and delicious. The people that work there are awesome and they are a brewery... oh boy! Gonna move out here so I can visit this place weekly! No Joke - GET THE WINGS!! you're gonna thank me for this one!

Joe S.

Yelp
The best chicken wings I have ever had. Literally. And I've been eating chicken wings for probably 50 years. So that's saying a lot. I'm not even exaggerating. If you like chicken wings, you absolutely need to try this place. They might be the best in the world. Again I'm not exaggerating. Oh, and the beer is amazing as well.

Bruce K.

Yelp
Beer and dinner in Greenfield, I spent about an hour or so at The People's Pint. Friendly, eclectic and interesting place with excellent beer and locally produced stuff on the menu. I had a pickled egg to start and the chicken wings for main course. The egg was tasty and the wings were super hot from the fryer. A little dry but there was enough sauce and the blue cheese on the side that it was still quite tasty. Warm service and a cool joint. [Review 18434 overall - 1152 in Massachusetts - 1956 of 2022.]

Yelp
I'll just state right off the bat, that my lunch companion and I didn't have any of their beer. I've heard their beer is great, and I know some of you reading will be horrified that we didn't partake in any, but this wasn't a good time for us to indulge in alcohol, and my review is just about the food. I hadn't been to the People's Pint in many years, and I thought I'd try it again. I had the grass-fed burger with cheese and I was sorely disappointed. It was about 17.00, which is quite a bit of money if it's a hand formed burger with local grass-fed beef. It tasted like a preformed burger. It was firm and rubbery, like a preformed frozen burger. The potato wedges that were served with the burger were soggy, not my idea of what roasted potatoes look, or taste like. My lunch mate said her lunch was just okay. We decided next time we're in town to eat elsewhere. In the future, I'd only go to the People's Pint for a drink.

Yelp
Wonderful place. I discovered them not long after they opened, back when finding things on the internet was a fine art. Great food, wonderful vibe, for more than 25 years.

Stephen F.

Yelp
The bartender called the police on me without asking my condition. I've been disabled for four years my knees need replacement. I have permeant brain damage and once in a while I like to go out and enjoy a drink it relieves the pain of my arthritis. The bartender saw my walk when I went in and still served me. When I left no questions just called the police. I went for a walk with my friend and they showed up. Put me in a arm bar. Saying it's to keep me safe. Wouldn't let go after I asked and explained everything. The ambiance was threatening. I was surrounded by police that had the look they were about to jump me if I refused the arm bar. You can ask about my walking. The town is full of people who limp. I'll end up filing several complaints. I'm ok with calling everyone even the IRS. Just like they call the police without saying a word. I could be just like them. I wonder if she's reporting all those cash tips. Hmmm. Every action causes a reaction. I have all day I'm disabled remember.I'm sick of being harassed because of it. And I do and will till I start reporting you back.

Yelp
Everything about this place is amazing! The service was friendly, fast and engaging. I ordered the bacon cheddar cranberry salad and it was AMAZING! The portion was huge, it had the perfect amount of dressing on it, and amply toppings. I can't wait to have it again. The ambiance is on point, with lots of interesting decorations to look at. My only complaint is that they have no NA beer. I can't wait to go back!

Jesse Z.

Yelp
The food is almost always good but unfortunately the same cannot be said for the service. One of our party did not receive an entree, no waitstaff to tell. No waitstaff to order more drinks....the buzz right by you. Also got a random round of drink brought to our table.....hah. We hadn't come back in a while because of the service and sorry to see things haven't changed....the food we did receive was good

Alexa D.

Yelp
One of my favorite local spots. Being someone from the area there's not a ton of decent places to eat in Greenfield , and this place delivers. Cozy and yummy fresh food. They also brew their own beer! Definitely check out this place if you find yourself in the area.

Vanessa W.

Yelp
5oz burger? No way! I've had a bigger burger at McDonald's. Then they have the nerve to charge $15.75 with $2.00 extra for cheese. Never again for this joint.

Mike S.

Yelp
We brought my big teenage son out to eat at the People's Pint. The three of us had two Squealer burgers and one Pulled Pork sandwich. first of all, the food is locally sourced and very fresh. We loved our meals and had great service. It's very evident that this is a place that takes care of its employees and gives back to the community. The People's Pint is very concerned about the environment with little or no paper; they use cloth napkins. The beer was great. We loved it and we'll be back!

T B.

Yelp
Terrific food sourced locally along with superbly tasty creative craft beers. Service was attentive and friendly. I look forward to coming back again and again. The beers are terrific. Celebrate creativity by going here for a truly great experience. I had the corn chowder with fresh bread. No disappointment at all.

Laura M.

Yelp
Love this place. Friendly staff. Great food. It's the best! Locally sourced. Fresh and delicious.

Kerry R.

Yelp
Simply excellent. We were seated promptly even on a busy Saturday night however they had some games to enjoy during our short wait. Home brewed beer was delicious. I had the gold and my husband had the stout. Both excellent. My daughter enjoyed the lemon lime homemade soda. Tons of great food choices even for kids and all meals were enjoyed. Highly recommend.

Robert Scott B.

Yelp
Phenomenal scratch made food served in a very laid-back pleasant atmosphere. Extensive menu and drink selection. Pleasant staff. Looking forward to the next trip passing through to stop again.

Robert B.

Yelp
Very comfortable brewery and restaurant. Have been a few times and enjoyed it a lot each time. As to the beer, it's solid. Not treehouse solid but definitely quality. I especially like that they had a fresh cask Ale available. Food seems pricey at first glance but is well made and generously portioned - I've always left with quite a bit of leftovers that I've heated up a few days later for a satisfying lunch. If in the are definitely worth checking out

Laurie K.

Yelp
Excellent pub food, great service I would definitely recommend. Small place, so you might need to wait if you arrive peak hours Great selection of beers, generous pours! The salads and tacos were great, they make their own dressing and sauces

Lisa W.

Yelp
Good service and atmosphere. Bean burrito and chicken wrap were equally yummy. Chicken quesadilla way below average...nothing special, at all...No tomatoes, lettuce, guac...just plain meat and cheese with a side of sour cream and salsa. IPA was pretty blah, but their amber lager was very good!

Katie B.

Yelp
Would never eat here again. Restaurant is dirty. Really long wait, staff was not friendly and the beer was warm.

Gayle H.

Yelp
The food is decent, limited menu, more organic choices would be nice. The ambiance the staff creates has an edge of pretentiousness. The bartender/dishwasher named Grey shoots dirty looks, stood at the table & stared at us, he had another staff members tell us not to come back when I said goodbye to him, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL conduct that turns customers away. Because he doesn't like me personally he has the entire staff target us. Makes me wonder if they'd stoop so low as to mess with my food (like I've seen in movies) - it wouldn't surprise me after what I've experienced the last 3 times I've been there, especially yesterday. For a place that touts inclusivity, community, love & acceptance it has failed miserably by allowing the personal opinion of one staff member to taint an entire establishment's workforce to create a bad experience & then blame it on the patron & then tell them not to come back. Do the owners know? And yes - all this is because I won a case in court he was involved in... tsk tsk tsk - the staff needs retraining on professionalism.

Yelp
Love this place!!! I hadn't been in years I totally forgot about the peoples pint. Had to stop on the way home from western mass. So glad I did. The beers were great and the food just amazing. I started with their version of a snake bite. Usually cider and Guiness but they make it with cider and oatmeal stout. Soooo good. I had the wings and then the mussels. I can't go anywhere without trying smoked wings. They were lathered in a spicy bbq sauce and huge monster size wings. I had the peach saison with the mussels. The mussels are cooked in the farmers ale which I loved, ate the whole bowl and all the bread. Clean plate club for sure. The bartender was great. It was the bars 25th anniversary so she gave me t-shirt and a glass. Win win!!! I can't wait to go back.

Joe A.

Yelp
Driving through Greenfield, Mass. The Hangry on the verge of taking over, when we came across The People's Pint. If you are a beer or food lover this is a must stop. Upscale bar food with a eye towards high end culinary crossovers. Sustainability focus is always a plus in my book. Again if you like beer and people that care about the food they serve you. People's Pint is a must stop

Elizabeth G.

Yelp
The People's Pint NEVER fails to deliver. The staff is always on their game: friendly, helpful, patient and efficient. The food is like what you would make at home if you had time and the whole vibe is top notch local pub and then some.

Eric L.

Yelp
The Squealer Burger (ground bacon and ground beef make this burger outstanding) is a must try!! Beer choices are plenty. Dessert (blueberry crisp w/ a scoop of vanilla ice cream) was very fresh. Our server was amazing and the atmosphere was "Cheers" like. We are visiting from out of town and will try to return before we leave.

Robert B.

Yelp
A better American pub simply does not exist. Homemade everything with the best ingredients from the root beer to the butter. Efficient friendly service, every single customer and staff member looks like they have three books and an adjunct position. Most do. There is no happier place in the Happy Valley.

Thomas N.

Yelp
has been here for quite a while, pretty empty for lunch today so i got to sit in the window, am not a huge beer guy but the pilsner was very good as was the chicken wrap sandwich, service was pleasant, have some interesting menu items and probably some interesting beers for those seeking a better brew...very nice.

Diggity Dogs S.

Yelp
Great beer and good food! Wonderful people and incredibly ethically run business worth supporting!

Wendy K.

Yelp
Love People's Pint. Great local food, excellent services, locally sourced food, excellent atmosphere. Love the wings, the house salad, and the nachos to name just a few of our favorites. The bartender Jesse and the server Sandra are both wonderful.

Brad R.

Yelp
This place sucks. I'm so sorry for this as it was my favourite restaurant in greenfield but it is overpriced and the menu sucks now. Too bad they didn't comeback strong after the pandemic. Oh well plenty of other breweries around with better beer and better food for less money.

Dave J.

Yelp
We were in Greenfield, a quaint community of folks who are always at the ready, pitchforks in hand, for the next great political, environmental, or sociological battle, visiting family and they brought us a TPP. The food was very good, I had a burger, sweet potato fries and two pints of the Pied Piper IPA. The IPA was exceptional.

Ryan S.

Yelp
We stopped here at about 11:45 AM with a party of four on Friday, November 29th. This was our first time here, as we were traveling to Vermont. This restaurant quickly got super busy after we sat down, and we learned that it was quite popular among the locals. The restaurant has a good mission and our server was very friendly; however, seemed to have a few too many tables. I only saw two serves in the entire restaurant, that clearly could have used at least three. I had the Turkey Melt which was the daily special, and it was great, excellent even. The table also shared two of the pretzels which I thought was a little overpriced at $6.25 including the cheese sauce for the size that they came out. Overall, an excellent experience; however, a few of the items seemed to be priced way over value and others seemed really reasonable. The service also could have been a bit faster with one more server.

Samantha B.

Yelp
The first time I ever visited here we arrived just after they opened on a Thursday afternoon, which was perfect timing before the dinner rush started. The server was attentive. We ordered nachos to start, with added pulled pork. Sadly, the nachos and pork on top were completely cold, and the side of cold salsa did nothing to help. I ordered the special salad, with bacon and fiddleheads. It was a good portion size with fresh lettuce, but could have used a bit more veggies to give it some different color and texture. Sadly, my boyfriend's burger with blue cheese and mushrooms was also cold, and my friend's pulled pork sandwich was soggy, bland, and lukewarm. Not sure why we had so much cold food, since we were some of the first people to order and the waitress wasn't forgetting our food. My boyfriend, hopeful it wasn't a complete loss, ordered a single beer, which he said tasted like they hadn't cleaned their lines in a while. Overall disappointing, aside from the very friendly server.

Phil W.

Yelp
This is a great place for a very casual lunch or dinner. They have an eclectic menu of food and beer that the most ardent meat eater and vegetarian will both find favorites to order.

Carole L.

Yelp
Good room. Loved the double IPA. Friends had turkey burgers I have green curry w/tofu. Yum. In my survey of clam chowders while visiting Boston and Greenfield etc. theirs was top 2!!

John H.

Yelp
This was our first time at the Pint as we were traveling through. From the outside you wouldn't notice but it's very big inside and open and bright. Lots of wood tables and booths. The service was pleasant and attentive. They have many options of their own beer on tap. We tried a few, seemed like they have options for most tastes. Menu was creative with mixes of American, Asian and Mexican? We had the pretzel to start and it was tasty - we also then had tacos, burrito, burger and wrap. All were tasty. Kids originally were worried about no fries but liked the roasted potato like fries. Warm cookie got a thumbs up as well. If we could improve anything, possible more protein in the dishes, some more sauces to give the dishes more flavor/pop.

George H.

Yelp
On our way back from the Berkshires to Western MA we stopped in Greenfield for a bite. Having heard a lot about source of the people's pint we stopped in to check it out! I'm glad we did. They have a great tap list and we had the classic sampler to try a range of styles that they put out. The food menu consists of a myriad of items from standard bar fare to cheese boards, noodles, etc. They are also very GF and vegetarian friendly from a food perspective. I had the cold peanut noodles with tofu, which was great, and shared a side of roasted beets (which I believe may have had a maple syrup drizzle, as they were pretty sweet). There were lots of crunchy veggies to offset the relatively consistent texture of the noodles and tofu. I'd definitely order this again.

Elizabeth W.

Yelp
Amazing, amazing food and beer! The service is outstanding every time. The comfortable feeling always when you come there. We had a keilbasa appetizer with local sauerkraut. One of the best kielbasa and sauerkraut I ever had. The Spring Ramp Wrap was so yummy. A ramp aioli mixed with lettuce, bacon and grilled chicken. Yummy. You got to get there to try these specials. I am in a culinary world and love being fed and serviced with the best practices. Thank you!

Ken W.

Yelp
My favorite restaurant in the county. I always say that if it closes, I'll move. I've never had a bad, or even mediocre, meal here. The ambiance is great, and I always see someone I know. My favorite place to take out-of-towners--even my city friends bring it up regularly! Service is great, too.

Leslie M.

Yelp
Great local spot for lunch or dinner. It doesn't look like much when you walk in, but the service is great and the food is phenomenal!! The food comes from local organic farms and is absolutely delicious! My aunt brought me there for dinner-- I had the clam chowder which was very rich and creamy, along with a small salad with grilled salmon and the tahini dressing. I savored every bite. My aunt ordered a burger, which did not look impressive, but the fries were very good. She ordered one of the homemade orange cream sodas that was delicious! For dessert, we shared the blueberry peach crisp with vanilla ice cream- it was definitely worth the calories. For beer lovers, there is a large selection of local craft beers.

Steven M.

Yelp
I live in AZ and have been working on a project in the area. There are several restaurants in Greenfield and Turners Falls that are still either closed or limited to take out consequently I believe I have sampled nearly all of the full service bars & restaurants. The People's Pint served the best meal that I've had in weeks. I had the Honey Yokisoba Noodle special with a pint of house made German Pilsner. The food and beer were really outstanding. I normally reserve 5 stars for really high end eateries but this is a deserved exception. Thank you!

J V.

Yelp
This is my go-to place in Greenfield. Solid food and really good brews. All hail The People's Pint.

Kelly C.

Yelp
I was a huge fan of The People's Pint after an almost accidental visit (had to pick up my sister due to car trouble, and this is where we met). We had 4 adults and 2 toddlers, and the staff did not even blink when we walked in and asked for a table with 2 high chairs. In fact, they seemed excited to have little kids to play with and talk to. Our waitress and one of the kids had the same name, so we loved her immediately. Two of the adults shared a flight (oktoberfest, detonator, stout, and scotch), my sister had the Farmers Daughter, and I had the Snakebite. We all shared around and were impressed with everything we tried. I had a side salad (delicious, surprisingly big, and filling). Between the rest of our table, we had the catfish tacos, the burritos, a pupusa plate for the kids, and some sort of wrap. Everything got rave reviews. With a farmer's market down the street, bookstore around the corner, and coffee shop a few blocks away, this is a great area to visit, and a perfect spot for a pint.

Paulette W.

Yelp
I am not usually one to complain but there were so many reasons no to go back I don't know where to start! No diet drinks, up charge on everything, minimal selection, no refills on soda or even tea, tiny portions, no BBQ sauce on the pulled pork, I mean it was vast. Server was nice but long wait. Long and short...we won't be going back. Just being honest ‍

Lise S.

Yelp
Best chicken wings on the planet, huge, local, farm raised chicken. Great brews. Has flights! Other than the wings, not traditional pub fare. More eclectic, some various ethnic dishes, peanut noodles, local veggies.

Michael S.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere and the beer! Wonderful place to meet up with friends or meet new friends. I can't say enough positive things about this place. Enjoy the seasonal beers and the amazing menu. So many options for every diet. Vegan to Carnivore everyone in your part will be happy

Rach P.

Yelp
The good: plenty of gluten free options and the house made gluten free stout was amazing The bad: I've been here twice and both times it is way too hot. They have ceiling fans and one wall/ceiling AC unit and it is not enough. We couldn't enjoy our beer or meals and it was so stuffy in there we couldn't even think. I actually believe the heat was the reason the bartender messed up our meal. He forgot to give me a gluten free bun and I'm just glad I asked when it was delivered and he forgot the pork for my Partners Mac and cheese. The food was just okay. I got the lamb burger, but there were way too many spices in it. Most lamb burgers are juicy and fatty and this was dry and like a hockey puck. This place has so much potential and we would have enjoyed it more, but one AC unit isn't enough when there are 50 people in the restaurant.

Wendy M.

Yelp
Such a fun menu! So do fresh delish! Attentive friendly staff! I love everything about this place! We travel far to enjoy this wonderful place' run dont walk and buy a fun t shirt while your at it!!
