I can’t rave about this place enough. I loved it so much I came 2 days in a row since I am from out of town. Saw this on shark tank and so glad I came. I had 2 desperate pasta dishes- both phenomenal in their own ways. The meatballs are delicious (what I was coming for initially), the pizza is the best I’ve had in the US (think super super thin crust), and the pumpkin cheesecake is out of this world. The consistency is the best I’ve had. Destroys juniors cheesecake if you were wondering. The service is also unreal- the owner also chatted it up with me for a bit, and is so down to earth. Don’t regret not coming here!

The Perry Club by Pasta by Hudson has such incredible service I am taking the time to write this review. My party of 14 high school jazz band group needed a reliable reservation seating and duration time of dining to squeeze in a fantastic dinner experience between a jazz clinic and show. The owner worked with me to get our orders in advance so the dinner plates would be served promptly to allow us to enjoy our meal together. We were seated promptly at our reservation time in a beautiful downstairs area that the teens clearly were impressed with. Dinner came out as we requested even using our individual names when serving. The pasta varieties and pizza were fantastic. The owner made us feel like VIPs and was visible greeting guests at tables. Managing a large reservation group on a busy holiday weekend became worry free for me thanks to the owner and staff taking care of us every step of the way. A quality dining experience of delicious pastas and pizzas with an attentive and positive staff. Thank you all! This is truly a gem of a restaurant! —Mary P

One of my favorite spots in west village, the basement is so much fun. Drunk Pizza Night sounds amazing for parties, and the special thin crust takes days to make. Have been many times and will return regularly!

Had an amazing night at The Perry Club for drunk pizza making……in the Igloo!! My group of 18 had an absolute blast. Brandon is super fun, personable and made our family reunion/girls night very special. (He even had a new table made to accommodate our group- who does that??) The food was plentiful and delicious and the drink service was so quick. We did not have to wait long for the next round! Susan and the other servers were top notch - they were so friendly and so attentive. I highly recommend booking this event- but only if you like great music, amazing food, meeting the nicest staff in NYC, and have great family to enjoy it with!!

So. Funnily enough id originally planned to eat next door and accidentally sat down here. Best "happy little accident" that ever could have happened. The owner, Branden, was absolutely amazing. He was so friendly and told me in depth about their imported burrata (which was absolutely delicious, had to snag a bite before the pic). Our waiter, Jordan, was really friendly and gave great recommendations as well. The food was just as wonderful as the staff proclaimed and the services wasn't just friendly, it was incredibly fast as well. Huge portions, too! Oh, and can't forget the stuffed meatball. The sauce that came in was so good my date and I ended up scraping the bowl with a spoon even after the meatballs were finished. Will definitely be returning.

This place was fantastic! The owner Brandon is super friendly and passionate about the food they serve. The cheese-stuffed meatballs were the best meatballs I have ever had. Our group loved the carbonara pizza and the bolognese as well. Everything we ate tasted super fresh and flavorful. This is one of my new favorite spots in the city! Highly recommend.

My daughter loves Pasta by Hudson so when we saw this on the map, knew it had to be done. Basement restaurant with a funky vibe, there is even a whole bar downstairs that didn’t seem to be in use. The dining area has loud 2000s music and a disco ball. Menu is similar to the takeout place on 7th ave, pizza and pasta. I had the baked bolognese and it was great.

The Perry Club is an interesting place in a good way. First off when you walk in, you are walking into the kitchen area of the restaurant and there are old machines and menus scattered across and it just does not seem like you are walking into an open restaurant. I was a bit confused. But then I walked in as I had a reservation here and found out that the restaurant part is downstairs. It sort of feels like a speakeasy sort of place. It is super small with just a few tables. I had no problems getting a reservation though. I came here with a friend who also wanted to try it out. The restaurant part downstairs has a disco ball that keeps going all the time. So if you get dizzy easily or if disco balls hurt your eyes or make you not well I advise either not to come here or maybe ask to turn it off if at all possible. Our waiter is also the host. He was very nice and answered all of our questions. Some or all of the dishes from this restaurant were on the tv show shark tank a few seasons ago. Everything looked and sounded so good. I ended up starting with the cheesy meatball. Which is a meatball with cheese in it that is gooey. It comes in an order of 3 meatballs. They were very tasty. My friend had Caesar salad. She said it was very good and filling, as were the meatballs. She then had a pasta dish which she also said was very good. I had a pizza that was delicious. My pizza was called The "Ciro" Caprese, which was Mozzarella, arugula, endive, grape tomatoes, creamy burrata, aged balsamic, EVOO, and Maldon sea salt. WOW so tasty! and filling. For drinks my friend had a martini and I just had a glass of prosecco. It came in a pretty and big glass. The music that plays here is a mix of genres but it was a great playlist. My friend and I had fun here but it was not what we were expecting especially after we walked in for the first time. I would come back for this pizza and the meatballs for sure.

the service was excellent and very very courteous to a big party of 13 downstairs. we practically took up the whole space. food came out in minutes and we were stunned! staff was so kind and answered all of our questions, ready to take our orders asap. we never felt rushed in the time there. the review is for the food and cost. the pizza was thin AF more of an appetizer and pretty small for its price. the pasta had huge portions on the contrary, but the flavor was just like any other store bought pasta. i did appreciate the texture of the fresh made pasta though. the real killer was the fact there was an ungodly min spend for the table though - we spent $85 each for a salad app and a main (pasta/pizza). don't think that any food at a dive bar is worth that much.. vibe was casual and nice to celebrate in a comfortable setting

Food was good. Drinks were mediocre (had a dirty gin martini that was lackluster). Service was sufficient. We were a table of 3, originally sat at a microscopic table in the basement back room. Thankfully we were moved to a larger table. At the end of dinner, a RAT climbed down a vine over the table. The owner provided some extra shots/drinks but not really what we would have wanted. Should have had a majority or all of the tab picked up.

Came here to celebrate a birthday with a party of 4. You walk into a small crowded space where the food is made and 1 table but the main restaurant is downstairs. We were seated by the bar tucked into a corner and highly uncomfortable to get to. The restaurant is so crowded that you need to be a size 2 to walk in between tables without knocking someone's drink over or running into a staff member. There's not a lot of organization here either, we got seated by one person, greeted by another, serviced by a lot of different people, just anyone and everyone that worked there did something different for you and got pretty chaotic. The food, however, was amazing! Everything we ordered was so delicious and the staff was great about clearing tables to make space for everything. The live singing was not enjoyable and also too crowded for that. It was making everything way louder and overstimulating, my party stating multiple times everything was giving us anxiety. Highly recommend the stuffed meatballs appetizer!

The perry club And also pasta by Hudson are an amazing new tradition to New York Italian fare! The owner himself went on Shark Tank to pitch his dreams, and it came true, serving up some of the most amazing meatballs you will ever eat in your life! The vibes are on amazing decor, and music that you can totally vibe to. A full bar and homemade pasta I mean what more could you ask for?

Amazing service and vibes! The vodka pasta was great and my friends loved the pizzas that they got. I highly recommend this spot for the great service and good food. I came for bday and they offered free tequila shots for the group which was a really nice surprise, The staff was great and I will be back!

Absolute new favorite joint! My boyfriend and I wanted to spend the rainy night in the West Village and get some pasta, but unfortunately didn't book a reservation anywhere weeks in advance. We saw this place had pretty open availability and booked a last minute table. We even got there early and were immediately greeted by the owner, who was so friendly and hospitable and thanked us for coming. We were seated right away downstairs in the coolest dining area. Intimate, not tons of tables, but great music and a DISCO BALL. Party and pasta?? My kind of place. Our waitress was super attentive and told us the specials and answered my question about the most popular sauce. We got the meatballs stuffed with cheese and she suggested we add garlic bread... WOW we were so glad we did. Literally the best garlic bread I've ever had. I'd come here just for that. The meatballs were stellar too! I got the bolognese and he got the shrimp scampi. You could taste how fresh and handmade the pasta was and it was so delightful. Topped off with some good Pinot Grigio and a super fun playlist that wasn't so loud we could still talk, but still cool enough we could sing along, we had such a stellar experience here. This is such a hidden gem that I can't wait to come back to. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful evening

Prettttty disappointed in our pizza experience here. Pizza is unbearingly thin. Like thinner than a tortilla - ultra crunchy. If you like that kinda thing, then maybe it's for you. Meatballs were pretty good but pricey. We got 5 pieces of garlic bread for $10. Felt like white bread sliced vertically. Good flavor but amount was not worth the price. Service was slow. When we asked for boxes to take home pizza leftovers, the server came back with takeout boxes similar to Chinese takeout boxes. How were we supposed to put pizza leftovers in that...? But then we asked for pizza boxes and they brought them. The downstairs was pretty neat, good music. Maybe I should've tried the pasta though.

This place was just straight up horrible (I have lived in nyc for 3 years and this is the worst meal I have had yet). Only came here because was on the corner of a busy street but looked touristy and should have left after our appetizers. Cocktails were horrible, beer was flat and warm, and whatever you do not get the Caesar salad. I understand egg yolk in the dressing but the whole friend egg on top was disgusting. Made the salad warm, dressing was bad and they had huge tomato's which were horrible for sharing. Pizza was worse than dominos and meatballs were the only decent item but even those had a funky taste that was sour. We got the vodka sauce pasta which turned out to be a soup not a sauce. The pasta was swooshing around at the bottom. Especially for being in west village, there are 1,000 better options would highly recommend going anywhere else.

This place is a hidden gem. Make sure to get seating downstairs though because that changes the whole experience and vibe. Lots of fun decorations, quiet space, and roomy ambience downstairs. The menu is large and ALL of the pasta dishes can be made gluten free if that is important to you!! The cheesy meatballs were spectacular and the vodka pasta dish I got was very good. Not hard to get reservations and would go back!

I hosted a 10+ party and all of my friends loved the Perry Club (myself included)! The pasta and pizza was delicious and they have an extensive menu with lots of options. The drinks were also very tasty. The service was quick, and the owner Brandon is so friendly, accommodating and made the experience great. Couldn't recommend this place more!

Was excited to try this "Shark Tank" related restaurant only to be disappointed. Indoor seating is in the basement with a disco ball. Played Taylor Swift the whole time there. Told that they were out of four items but when I want to order dinner- they forgot to tell me they were out of a 5th item. I had to settle for my 4th choice- tried their lasagna. Interesting and not bad. The vodka sauce was more of a tomato cream. No bread service either. Server was also the only working the room.

You paid close attention to what I was seeking for in a custom pasta (since I don't eat pork) and you gave me EXACTLY what I wanted! My salad and pasta were probably the best I've ever had!! My sister had seen this pasta on Shark Tank so we went for a weeknight dinner and had a blast! Loved the funky ambiance and the staff treated us like family. Antonio the bartender made us some off the menu drinks and Brandon made sure we were well cared for. We had the cheese-stuffed meatballs and pasta alla vodka. My personal favorite was the roasted mushroom salad. Loved this place and will definitely be back!

Food was incredible, aesthetics and ambience was perfect for a date night. Garlic bread was the best I've ever had. Brandon and who was either manager or owner personally checked in to see how our time was. Service was 10/10.

Cute space in the West Village. I dined outside and was greeted by a very personable host. Great service very attentive. I had the Italian Sausage with Broccoli rabe and hubolt and ricotta cheese. Would def order again Meatball Bucatini i liked the cheesy meatball the pasta was replaced with tagliatelle (which the server told me upfront) I would have liked it to be slightly more al dente Will definitely be back for the service and loved the Italian sausage app and the restaurant vibe

I really wanted to like this place given it is new and the reviews on Yelp had some high expectations. However, it fell short. We had a reservation and were seated downstairs in this tiny room where the tables are way too packed together. I don't know if our table really should have been a table in the back corner against the stone wall because 1) servers could barely reach us with the surrounding tables crowding ours and 2) I felt forgotten by our waitress overall because we were seated where we were seated 3) it was so lopsided, that any drink we placed on the table would roll off on the tilt of the table. No seriously - any wine glass... glass of water. It almost even fell on our waiter at one point when it rolled off the table. Not a fun experience... I enjoyed the meatball appetizer to begin with (super cheesy inside each meatball but definitely good for 2 people). We got the margherita pizza next and it is thin crust but didn't really taste like authentic Italian. Lastly, we got the "rigatoni a la vodka and white bolognese with sausage". We got this pasta dish thinking it was going to be a rigatoni a la vodka but it didn't taste like it had that sauce at all. Unfortunately the noodles were overly al dente as well. I appreciated the complimentary cookies for dessert. Overall, our table was completely lopsided; service was unattentive (had to flag repeatedly for water; to order; the check); and the room downstairs gets extremely loud. I just wish it was a better experience but having to hold my water glass while I am eating just wasn't a good dining experience. Even one of the workers who guided us to our table knew our table was lopsided (as my wine glass almost fell off the table but he caught it and laughed) but they didn't do anything about it.

Great new restaurant in the west village! The chef/owner is so full of energy and passion it really shows in his food. Some of my favorite dishes were the baked shrimp scampi, mushroom with ricotta and hot honey, and of course all of the fresh pasta !!

Super cute place with indoor dining downstairs and outdoor dining as well. My friend and I ended up sitting downstairs since it was a little chilly for outside. The food is fresh and super tasty. The pasta is handmade and you can definitely tell. Will definitely come here again

I had never heard of this place but had maybe walked by it 100 times. We had the muscles, meatballs, tomatoes and gluten free zucchini pizza. I thought the muscles were sub par, the meatballs were good, tomatoes ok, and the pizza was great. The service was amazing, incredibly friendly and good. Would come back

So The Perry Club is a brand new restaurant that is the high-end sister of Pasta By Hudson (located up the street a few blocks at 180 7th Avenue). Lots of delicious pizza (their signature thin crust style), appetizers, cheese boards, pasta (all fresh and made from scratch in-house), seafood, yummy entrees and more. The downstairs eating area is legitimately so so beautiful and there there is a speakeasy section just behind one of the wine cellar doors that has major winery dungeon vibes. This spot is amazing for a girls night, a date, group hangs - even a solo date. I've been here twice so far and both times were amazing. Great food, remarkable staff, beautiful ambiance - love, love, love me some Perry Club! I can't wait to return and try more of their menu.

A long overdue review. I've come in a few times and can't emphasize enough on how friendly the service is, how awesome the chef Brandon is and how delicious and passionate his food shines through with every dish. I'm more of a fan of the pasta over the pizza. But the pizza has very quality ingredients on very thin crust. His cheese stuffed meatballs are seriously the best. The marinara sauce that he coats them in is some of the best sauce I've had. Beautiful cheese boards, burrata salads. New items now that involve mussels with a delectable buttery sauce and amazing garlic bread as well as chicken wings. Pasta I recommend the Carbonara, white bolognese, and anything drowning in the vodka or pesto sauce. The pasta is made fresh and you can tell. This spot is the larger sister restaurant of Pasta by Hudson down the block. But this is a much larger venue which isn't quite apparent from the outside. I think people are initially confused and think it's a bar or club but there's a huge downstairs area that's absolutely breathtaking and worth a gander. Also, something worth checking out are their delicious wine slushies on a hot summer day.

After visiting the restaurant and falling in love with the space and staff, I decided to host my 30th birthday party in their private room downstairs. This was an exceptional experience!! I was given a private bartender, personalized drinks, poppers, syringe shots, the works-- without even asking for any of this! The team went above and beyond to ensure I had a memorable birthday. I ended up with about 50 guests who all had the most incredible time. Could not recommend enough for a private event!

I want to be nice because the staff was very kind and that was the best part of our experience. There's a few fundamental problems with this space and the fit-out into a restaurant which i am pretty sure is guilty of more than one code violation. 1. it is small, narrow and mostly underground. 2. During the summer and fall months, right after opening, owners put too many tables and chairs on the sidewalk- there is barely enough room for pedestrians with the sidewalk shed and mostly empty tables have just added clutter. 3. An AC, or generator? sat on the street connected to the space somehow- more clutter on the street. Another positive, in addition to the staff was the drinks- both the Peroni on draught and Rose were good! The price was fair, not overly inflated for this neighborhood. There was a very weird smell in the back of the restaurant near the toilets which smelled more like pungent Parmesan cheese but we didn't think that was the cause. Finally, the food: I wanted to like this place- good food might justify the occasional clubby music blasting from an external speaker, or grounds of too-loud 21 year olds. But, the picture attached is my "Bolognese" gluten-free pasta. The pizza was paper thin and FINE but nothing great. Skip it. Unless you are desperate the the 4 other pizza places nearby are closed.

Had an amazing time at the Perry Club! We stumbled upon it walking around the area and had to stop by for a drink as they have the most adorable outdoor seating covered in flowers. They had a great drink deal for happy hour and we got frozen wine slushy drinks which were great for a hot day. We ended up ordering a Zucchini and Squash pizza which was a really interesting and unique pizza and was absolutely delicious. We actually ordered a second one after we finished the first because it was so amazing! Would definitely recommend this place!

Great amazing food. The owner gave us two rounds of free shots. The interior is so funky and fun. Brandon is the goat. Thank god they took a last minute res for 7 people. My friend loves the zucchini squash pizza.

History of Present Indulgence: Met up with an old best friend in town and wanted to share some pasta and pizza between the four of us. The "as seen on Shark Tank" meatballs caught my attention. Physical Exam: Taste - The cheesy meatballs were out of this world. Do you remember those cheeseburgers shaped into sausages with cheese already mixed in that they served in garbage school cafeterias? This is NOT that! These were heavenly globs of meaty, cheesy goodness. Full of flavor and great to go along with some pasta. The pizza and pasta we had were tasty but I thought could have been better. The Carbonara Pizza didn't taste at all like a pasta carbonara. I'll admit it's probably my fault because the description says it has applewood bacon, arugula, and balsamic glaze. That being said, it was good, but I wouldn't order it again regardless of the false advertising. Bacon was a little overdone and also was sweet-on-sweet when paired with the balsamic. An easy audible to prosciutto or something saltier would get the job done. The Rigatoni a la Vodka was also a hearty bowl of pasta but the vodka sauce was just a tad under-seasoned. Service - Great service. Really friendly and accommodating staff! Assessment/Plan: If you want a cute place to have a date, or meet up with friends over affordable Italian food, The Perry Club is your spot! It was really easy to get a reservation. If you want daaaaaaaaaank meatballs, these are literally the best meatballs in the world! The people are nice, the environment is fun and casual, and it was easy to get a reservation.

The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and the owner was beyond helpful. My group had the best time and couldn't stop ordering the pizzas. I cannot wait to come back!

This is such a cute spot for dinner. The pizza and pasta are great. The pizza is a very thin crust which is delicious. I highly recommend the carbonara. The owner is super fun and will bring shots over to your table.

Very underwhelming experience at the Perry Club. Service was extremely slow despite being a small place. There is no "speakeasy" downstairs despite what others have reviewed. There is a basement area for eating but no additional bar. The cheesy meatballs were great and the owner/hostess guy is awesome. Give that guy a raise. They were all out of all of their beers when we went. The vodka pasta wasn't even vodka sauce and not great. We also have the margherita pizza which was very mediocre. The basement area is cool but very crammed in and they play 00s pop music which seems a bit out of place. Wouldn't recommend going to Perry Club.

A must visit in the Village!!! Brandon is an absolute star and master of hospitality and food--he and his staff welcomed my 2 friends and I in on a Friday night for a late dinner and made us feel like VIPs. We started with Frosé which was SO good (thank you Brandon!) before ordering. We sat in a private room downstairs, and ordered everything that Brandon and his staff recommended--the cheesy meatballs, the White Bolognese rigatoni pasta, and the "Ciro" Caprese pizza. If we could give the food 10 stars, we would--each item we ordered and shared was out of this world delicious, balanced and completely unique! I'm still dreaming about the meal, will be back soon, and will be sure to bring out-of-towners and city friends alike for a guaranteed stellar experience. Cannot say enough good things about this gem--try it for yourself!

Came here as a group of five for Friday night dinner. It gets super busy, so definitely make a reservation. The ambiance of this place would definitely make for a great date spot as well. Our table ordered the garlic bread with meatballs, the cheese board, a pizza, shrimp scampi, and pomodoro rigatoni. Portions are very generous, so come hungry. Your garlic bread and shrimp scampi. It does something to me.

Service was good. Pasta was okay. I got the pesto. I highly recommend the mushroom truffle one which my sister got. That one was very tasty.

Decent food, great owners and easy to get a res. They have cute outdoor seating but inside in small. It is basically fast casual Italian but the cheesy meatballs are a must

Killer pizza and awesome environment! We really enjoyed this place. The food was absolutely wonderful, the staff was great, the environment was great, and it was quaint and very accommodating for our group.

$5 for a refill or soda is WILD also $35 for lobster ravioli I and giving six total ravioli and a gallon of sauce for a meal. This place also smelled like wet dog and mildew had a baby and I will never return :)

We were drawn into Perry Club because were fat, drunk idiots. It smells amazing - can you blame us? Anyway, we were sequestered to the basement seating, which was interesting. Decor was cute but it was a lil musty down there. I guess this place was featured on shark tank (?) so I'm sure it'll blow up. Definitely go but maybe once a few of the recently opened restaurant kinks are worked out. The food was awesome and the pizza is very thin crust style. I'd say try everything and worst case grab a slice at bleecker if you're not happy. The service was great and I'm looking forward to seeing this place pop off.

What a pleasure it was to dine at this wonderful little restaurant - a special gem that we all seek when trying to find that perfect place. The food is authentic and delicious beyond. words. The wait staff (Jordan) is friendly and genuinely nice and knowledgeable to give suggestions on the varied menu that offers so many attractive choices. And here's the best part - the prices are good! for the entrees and beverages also. Great glasses of good Italian wine for under 15.00! Check it out you won't be disappointed. Brandon and Tara are the best! This spot is a hidden gem and can't recommend it more. The service, the drinks, the ambiance, everything! And Brandon (the owner) is extremely friendly and outgoing. We just booked brunch here for next week and planning to bring all of my friends!

I can't wait to go back already. I went with a few friends and made a reservation. My friends showed up a little early and we were seated immediately. Food was amazing, service was amazing-er. Our server gave us great recommendations from wine to pasta sauces. The playlist was good and at the perfect volume to hear and speak to each other. Definitely a gem to enjoy before all of NYC finds it.

Need I say more? The pizza cooked up front in front of me was lit and delivered. I like the view of the street from the bar but the dining area downstairs was nice and intimate. Brandon the owner lends a nice comfortable vibe to the whole place. It's worth a try.

The Perry Club is a new restaurant on 7th Avenue South that at times feels like some friends playing restaurant. Our server was very good and kept apologizing, but it is a tough to enjoy your meal when they don't seem to have their act together. The positives are the terrific pizzas and pasta. Absolutely first rate! Highly recommend any of them. Simply delicious. Their "signature" meatballs that were on Sharktank were awful. I'm out! The meat was a very poor cut and to compensate they oversalted. The result was a poor, almost inedible combination. The wine list is limited. We ordered a wine which they said they were were out of (a California Chardonnay) so they substituted a Spanish Chardonnay that was an extremely poor substitute. They charged $50 for the bottle which is not particularly expensive for Chardonnay, except that when I googled the wine I found that it retailed for $7.75 so they were charging over six times retail (they buy wholesale) when the restaurant norm is two to three times retail. The chocolate moose was also nothing special. I hope that they get their act together quickly or they will soon be gone, which given the quality of the pizza and pasta would be a shame.

My wife and I stumbled upon The Perry Club and stopped because of how amazing the food smelled. We could NOT have been happier with our impromptu stop. First, Brandon was the nicest host we've come across in NYC and we've been to A LOT of places over the years. The service was an immediate plus. The drinks are great and wine list on point! The pasta is made in-house and it definitely comes through in the dish. We had the Baked Mafaldine Bolognese and the Mushroom Ravioli and devoured both. If you're in the West Village you HAVE to check out The Perry Club.
