Upscale destination with a terrace & a leafy ambiance offering creative Mediterranean cuisine.
"Nestled in the 'Floral Court' section of Covent Garden is this elegant restaurant adorned with fresh flowers and Murano glass. It comes from the same stable as Petersham Nurseries Café and uses produce from their Richmond nursery as well as their Devon farm. The Italian-based dishes, like vegetables pinzimonio, show off the ingredients beautifully. The lovely terrace is shared with La Goccia, their more informal spot for sharing plates, and they also have a neighbouring wine bar and deli. From Thursday to Sunday, their afternoon teas become something of an event." - Michelin Inspector
"Bedecked with a wonderful array of flora and fauna, Petersham is found within aptly named Floral Court in London’s Covent Garden. The menu is largely Italian, with produce sourced from the site’s original Richmond nursery and Devon-based farm. Petersham’s creative afternoon tea stand features European-inspired savouries, scones with house jam and creative desserts." - The MICHELIN Guide UK Editorial Team
"Even if a solid 20% of your day is still dedicated to Angry Birds, you’ll definitely feel like an adult at The Petersham. This restaurant inside Covent Garden outpost of Petersham Nurseries serves up modern European food like white truffle tagliatelle, sea bream tartare and partridge risotto. In case the food didn’t give it away, you should know that this place can get pretty expensive, but their three course pre-theatre menu is only £30.50. If you’ve got a thing for blown glass and chandeliers (who doesn’t), sit inside, but if you want to take in the very idyllic floral courtyard, you can sit outside too." - Heidi Lauth Beasley
