The Pikey

So……..I wasn’t expecting to find a place like this in Klamath Falls. No disrespect to KFalls. The food is great and reminds me of Ireland. Their shepherds pie, bangers and mash and scotch eggs are worth the stop for sure. The gravy with the bangers is delicious! There is a quality to the food that I found a pleasant surprise. The drinks are a healthy pour, but not so strong that two drinks put you on your butt. Full bar and lots of beer. I feel like anyone would be comfortable there too. There were business peeps, locals, and blue collar folks all chilling alongside each other. It’s really a hidden gem in Southern Oregon. Do yourself a favor and order the scotch eggs, you’re welcome;)

Really cool Irish pub downtown. I went there for the shepherds pie and was glad I did. Good food and an accommodating wait staff and bartender. The shepherds pie was excellent and so were the fries. Lots of beer options with plenty of taps. Plenty of specials on the cocktail menu. Bartender made a really good drink.

This is an actual Pub that serves real food. The portions were much larger than expected as well. They have a pool table and a few other games. Guessing a stage for a band as well. The beer prices are reasonable as well. Been to a few other places in the town over the years. I don't see a a reason to go really anywhere else except the waffle house. It's rare to find an actual Pub making good food and a good atmosphere. Likely not going to forget this place on the way through if I stop in town. I'd have photos but I ate and drank it before considering pictures.

My husband and I stopped in for dinner while visiting Klamath Falls and I've got to say we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, drinks and the service. The margarita was very good and the berry mocktail was good too! We shared a bowl of tomato soup, which was really good, and the cheese toast made a great accompaniment! My husband had the fish and chips and I had the shepherd's pie. Both were very well done! And for a great ending we shared the Dutch apple bread pudding with ice cream! It was so moist! It was the best bread budding I've ever had! I definitely recommend it if you live / visit Klamath Falls.

We ordered the peanut butter burger just because it was weird and we were surprised that it is so dang delicious. We also ordered scotch eggs, which were nice because the sausage was so thin. Mine did have a piece of shell stuck to the egg which was gross, but the rest of them were fine. The last thing we ordered was the macaroni and cheese bites that were fried and they were also delicious. Sadly, they have the sugar turned way down on the soda machine and mine tasted mostly like carbonated water . If we are in Klamath Falls again, we will definitely go back. The food is great and the bartenders were all really friendly and quick with the service.

Me & my Husband had spent the day at Crater Lake. We both agreed we wanted a good burger. Burgers were DELICIOUS I believe they had to be at least a quarter lb. We also ordered onion rings and they were so good. Our Waitress, Elexxus, was EXCELLENT. Very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed every part of our meal and would highly recommend it

Great surprise in Klamath Falls! Terrific selection of beers and a long menu of great food. Fish and chips, shepherd's pie, bangers and mash and lots of burgers. We had two burgers, one with a salad one with their thick twisty fries which were REALLY good, and shepherd's pie. Burgers were thick and juicy, really flavorful, and the shepherd's pie had lamb and was delicious and not gamey at all. Couple beers later and we left happy and satisfied. We'll probably go back tomorrow and try the fish and chips. Give The Pikey a chance! 21 and older only.

Burger and fries was one of the best I've had. Really friendly staff too.

Was looking for traditional London fish and chips *Found It Here* Cod dipped and fried to a light crispy texture. Fish is super moist and meaty. Good size portion of cod. The tartar sauce is really good. The ranch dressing is excellent! Not at all vinegary, it may be house made. I don't normally order something like the bangers and mash, but it came highly recommended. I am SO GLAD we did! It's not regular mashed potatoes, it's the whole potato prepared with a crisp outter shell, smashed down and seasoned to perfection. The sausages were surprisingly good and bursting with layers of flavor. The star was the onion gravy! I don't think I've ever had "onion gravy", but it is my new favorite thing. I even went home and checked Pinterest to see IF I could somehow replicate it... for now, it would be easier to just come back and order some more *smiles* The fish tacos are the same dipped cod used for fish n chips, but in set in 2 large white corn tortillas (per taco) instead of on fries. Fish tacos don't come with a side, but 2 fish tacos can be split into 4 smaller tacos. It was very filling and I didn't need an extra side of anything. It's a complete meal *cheers* The daytime service was excellent. The adult beverages were exactly as expected, water was refilled w/o asking, food was served hot and the guy checked on us a couple of times to see how the food was *yay* I could see this venue being super festive later in the evening. Lots of seating, high tables, low tables, wrap around wood bar, shuffle board, a pool table and speakers throughout. The place is very clean and has plenty to look at on the walls without feeling cluttered. Opens daily at 3pm.

AH MAZE ING My husband and I are visiting from Virginia. I found this dive-y bar on Yelp and the pictures of the burgers looked great. After a long day of hiking we ventured over to The Pikey and we are so glad we made the drive down to Klamath Falls. I got the 5 alarm burger which has a dry rub on it consisting of jalopeno, cayenne, habanero, Carolina reaper and ghost peppers - YES it's as hot as it sounds but it's also soooo good. My husband got the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and omg it was delicious too. Our bartender was super sweet and attentive to us and all of her other tables. Oh and the desserts were DELICIOUS, highly recommend bread pudding if they have it as a special.

A very comfortable local Irish Pub. Service is prompt and courteous. Draft beer list heavily toward Irish themed beer. Had bacon blue burger with curly fries, very nice flavor. Had spicy "pig skins with ranch.

The Pikey was one of our only late night options, but it turned out to be great! I'm sure it gets lively most nights, but was pretty empty on a Sunday. The bartender/server told us to pick any table and brought us menus and water right away. The interior was spacious and dimly lit, with a few pool tables and funny signage as decor. I really liked the old ceiling tiles over the bar, which set it apart from the average Irish pub. The menu was surprisingly large, with a huge selection of burgers. I chose the Flying Yeet Machine Burger with Curly Fries and Jalapeño Ranch dipping sauce, and my friend got the Shepherd's Pie. Service was decently quick and portion sizes were massive! I basically had to unhinge my jaw to take a bite of the burger, but it was delicious. It was also messy to eat, but that comes with the territory. The Curly Fries were really thick, and not my favorite, but I did love the Jalapeño Ranch. My friend also said the Shepherd's Pie was pretty tasty, and filling. Overall, not bad for a casual dinner!

This place. Wow. After searching the Klamath Falls area on Yelp for the perfect food place to try, we made a mutual decision to check out The Pikey. We chose this place based on the reviews and pictures. We are so glad we did! The vibe, waitor and food did not disappoint. A cool place to enjoy and chill after a day on the water. If you are a people watcher, the front window sitting is entertaining with the foot and car traffic going by. If you want to social and have conversion, the waite staff were super chippy and chatty. Our waiter checked on us often but also didn't intrude. All in all, 9/10. I don't know what wouldn't make it a 10 because it was really that good. If it was free it would be a 10 Will definitely be returning. The pub fries are so crispy and perfect. If you like jojos, mojos or potatoe wedges, these are the next level up.

Service was spot on. Food was delicious as well. I travel a lot and the Shepards pie here was amazing.

Lovely aesthetics and watering hole while visiting on spring break. Friendly staff and you can tell this is the place even locals enjoy coming to. My boyfriend loved the shepherds pie so much we went twice during our stay in town. I love how everything is made to order. They have freshly made chips, pita, hummus, and the burgers were amazing.

Pretty cool little bar on Main Street Klamath Falls. Hard to write a bad review for it but here it goes. The Pikey has some pretty cool parties on holidays, New Years, Saint Patties etc. So If you are looking to mingle and meet new people, or just bump into old friends, that's when you should go. The problem with the Pikey, every other day, and Black Dogs too, is this Klamath Falls security detail called "Blade Security." These guys are totally ate up. Not that I'd trust any of them to "Bounce" anything if it came to it, they actually use their positions to wreak a good time for the sake of a power trip, or to prevent singles from hooking up. If there isn't a large number of folks there, they will involve themselves in the most minuscule detail of your evening, or just flat out fabric some reason to send you on your way. The reason given for trespassing me from the Pikey was that I involved the cops, when there were threats of violence. Who doesn't involve the cops when there are threats of violence? The cops handled the situation perfectly, and bars should have good relationships with them. Anyway, cool bar, fun holiday parties, very poor bouncing.

K Falls OR Wanted a burger and this place popped up. Amazing burger at an incredible price. Patties are 7oz and I should have stuck to only one. With the double it was nearly a pound of meat plus the bacon plus the cheese and fixings. This double will satisfy any hunger. I don't get out here often but when I do, I'm coming here.

They aren't kidding, everything is made fresh in-house...The food was so delicious...we started with the Mac & cheese bites and could've made a meal on those, homemade and delicious! I had the Philly cheesesteak grilled cheese all I can is WOW! The onion rings were crispy and delicious with just the right amount of salt! Can't wait to see what kind of cheesecake the "bastards" made today (see menu for this reference)! 13/10 recommend if you're ever in Klamouth Falls! Oh and great music! Can't beat that!

Great burger that actually tastes like meat. Perfectly cooked medium . My Dad had the fish & chips and really liked it. Our waiter was super friendly and accommodating to my 86 year old Dad.

Yee Yee! Mac and cheese bites with bacon jalapeño.. could make a meal of those! Philly cheesesteak grilled cheese was something that'll make you'll mouth water the moment you catch it coming to your table. Can't go wrong with the Fish and Chips, the beer batter-YUM.. great quality fish and curled steak fries, get outta hea!!! Needless to say it was deelish and you're missing out if you don't check out The Pikey. Also, great selection of brews and IPA's, we found a favorite! Enjoy

Visiting Klamath Falls we found this place from reviews and thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate. Loved the burgers both in variety on the menu and the portion. Sidewinder fries are definitely the way to go. And even if you don't save room get the bread pudding!

The signature appetizer is a bacon wrapped, pulled pork stuff jalapeno and some sort of red sauce. They are super fun. I highly recommend starting off with those. This place has 16 specialty burgers but the guy next to me was having fish and chips and they looked great. So I ordered them and you can order one, two, or three pieces. I ordered A two-piece. It automatically comes with slaw and then you can pick between the homemade chips or a homemade fry or a salad or another type of potato and I have to for the chips. They were excellent. The game was on. It's a big spacious area. Not loud. Not dark. Plenty of room to sit at a table. If you're a few people or if you're rolling solo like I was, you can sit at the bar and immediately I was served by the bartender.

Ambiance, food and service all 5 stars. If your into Philly Cheese steaks, you'll be ruined. Philly here, blows traditional miles away... for those that seek to be ruined, stop in and enjoy. Appreciate you all. I'll be back in for sure next time I'm coming through Klamath Falls!!!

The Pikey reminds me of a college town bar with its decor and vibe. But honestly, the Pikey had really good food. As my mom always says, don't judge a book by its cover. My wife and I came in to have an early dinner. We started with the Piglets appetizer: pulled pork stuffed inside a bacon wrapped jalapeño grilled and slathered with bbq sauce. These were very tasty. We were looking for a burger and this place has 15-20 specialty burgers. We ordered 2 burgers, so we could share a half with each other: The Big Easy and the Nuclear Ultimate cheeseburger. Both burgers were cooked at the correct temperatures. The Nuclear Cheeseburger was described as 'effing' hot... and they weren't kidding. It had lots of melty cheese and great seasoning and fresh l/t/o. The best part was the burnt cheese that overflowed the burger onto the grill. Oh, last comment on this burger...it was huge. The unique sidewinder fries that accompanied the burger were crispy and perfectly seasoned with a seasoning salt. The Big Easy burger stood out with a savory and flavorful Cajun seasoning on the cheeseburger. This burger also had grilled jalapeños and l/t/o toppings. This burger was good, but the Nuclear Ultimate Cheeseburger was better...and hotter! We had hand cut chips that accompanied this burger and the were crunchy and seasoned perfectly. They reminded me of a lays potato chip but better. Jonah was our server. He was helpful and attentive. If I lived in KFalls, this would be the place I regularly come for a cold beer and a great burger.

Great little spot in KF. The burgers and beer are fantastic. My friend ordered wings and got fried chicken but when she told the server, she got no compensation. It's hard to find good spots in KF so we were happy. Bathroom doors have no locks which really should be an easy fix.

Hours listed on Yelp show open at noon, but the sign outside shows 3:00 pm. We were really looking forward to trying this place but we won't be back.

Passing thru in the way to Reno, stopped for the night. Looking for something to eat, found this. What can I say? OMG! So tasty! Service super quick, DH had a Guinness and shepherd's pie. He was very happy. I had the Jane burger, just quick plain burger with cheese, onion, tomato, and lettuce, bun was really nice and the pub fries were really good. Definitely will be back. Funny signs all over the place.

Don't let the dark exterior fool you. This place offers more than a typical dive bar. Sat at the bar and the friendly bartender served us some refreshing local beers from Skyline brewery. Onion rings were tasty but a little over fried. The fish tacos were delicious and hit the spot. The Ruben was rich and the sidewinder fries were thick and satisfying. My mom loved her corn beef and cabbage but it was unusual- a darker color than expected, and very richly seasoned. Recommend for a hearty lunch with some true local flavor.

HUGE burgers! Ordered the Umami Tsunami with sidewinder fries and it hit the spot! The burger was so flavorful and the bun was a buttery brioche, SO GOOD!

We were looking for a casual place with the best burgers around after spending a day at Lava Beds National Monument caving. The Pikey was a little bit of a drive, but ohh boy it was worth it. We ordered the fried Mac and cheese bites and two hand crafted hamburgers. I had the Umami Tsunami and my hubby had the Bacon Bleu. The burgers were the best I had for a long time. The home fries were excellent as well - recommend the house dipping sauce.

I didn't go inside. Food is good. Price is high for ghettos area. $80 for 4 for takeout.

Really friendly crew, welcoming ambiance, good looking bar, decent beer selection. A little skimpy on the whiskey offerings for an Irish pub. Amazing burgers. I suggest skipping their Irish menu selections. Trust me... stick with the burgers.

The Tarzan had pulled pork and bacon which gave it more flavor than the Roundup I also tried the Ace Pineapple cider, sweet and delicious.

After a long day exploring crater lake, we came down to Kalamath falls for dinner, knowing that most places would likely be closed for the fourth. That's how we stumbled upon the Pikey. An unassuming dive bar like Irish pub, we were expecting some pretty standard drinks and burgers. We started with a round of wings, selecting the cayenne Hawaiian and Smokey bbq. Both sauces knocked it out the park and I found myself trying to scrape up as much as I could. I went with the Santa Fe Burger with sindwinder fries and extra spicy aioli on the side. The burger was thick, juicy and cooked to my perfection (medium to medium well). The fries were crispy and warm and I could stop eating them despite how full I was. The beer batter coating on them really brought it to the next level. My friends also enjoyed their big easy burgers and the sloppy Joseph. Our server was friendly and able to answer any questions we had. If you're in the area, don't let the outside fool you. Truly a fantastic spot!

Delicious! Good portions, flavorful and filling. Recommend the piglets. Spicy! Nice variety of adult beverages and local fare. Server was attentive but not intrusive. Fun atmosphere. Recommended by the hotel front desk person where we stayed and she was spot on.

Classic Irish pub vibe with a welcoming staff. Shepards pie was tasty, although the lamb was slightly over cooked.

We were quite surprised that a pub had such good food. And that they stay open til midnight was so nice to relax and play pool after a long day at work. The staff displayed excellent service. Too bad we live so far- this place would definitely become our favorite after work spot.

The Tarzan burger was amazing, I believe the best burger I've ever had. Came with pub fries and fry sauce, with butter lettuce. The Cadillac Margarita was refreshing with the added orange.

Stopped here on our way through town and SO glad we did!!! I got the Porky Pig with onion rings.... WOW!!! It's a pulled pork sandwich with fried pickles. Absolutely fantastic!! Husband got chicken strips and fries - also VERY good!!! The bartender was our waitress and she was great. Super friendly, very knowledgeable on the menu, and attentive to refilling our beverages. Portions are LARGE! Wish I would have taken a photo but we were hungry - sorry! Highly recommend!!!

Great food. Generous proportions. Friendly wait staff. Really enjoyed their Irish dishes as well. Some of the items they offer on their menu can't be found anywhere else in Klamath Falls so it's a nice treat.

This is a great place to catch a game but also have some solid food. Spent 5 months working in K-Falls and went here several times. My favorite was the fish and chips with their pub fries. Fish was always moist and tender and the batter had a great crisp. Always tasted fresh. The pub fries are great, some are super crispy and some are like Baked potato wedges. Big selection of burgers which are very good too. They are filling, so you better be hungry. Sidewinder fries are great too. Fried cheese is awesome too. Skip the fried pickles. Nice beer selection, homemade desserts and a nice cocktail menu. The service though is really what gives this place 5 stars for me. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. If you're in K-Falls this should be a place to go to.

The Pikey is what you might imagine an Irish pub style bar to be. The name is defined as a UK derogatory slang term meaning a gypsy or vagrant. I saw no gypsies there. What I DID see was some great food! My sister had a corned beef Ruben sandwich, my brother had a spicy burger, and I bravely ordered the fish and chips. All items were great, but the big surprise was that my fish and chips were on par or better than I have had -even over some closer to the sea. I know cod is frozen, but most all deep sea fish and shrimp are now (usually frozen on the vessel that catches it), but how a restaurant handles it's food within the 4 doors is a strong clue as to other things like overall cleanliness and respect for the food. We only visited once, but next time I Amin town- let's just say I am "hooked"!

Went on a Monday & got slow service & was ignored by a young lady with tattoos on her left arm which didn't know if she's a bartender or just there & when I asked for another beer it took a while to get even when I asked the bartender with glasses for another it took a while plus it took a while for my girlfriend to get her loaded fries whenIgot mine first, I'll keep coming but not when they're here. Very disappointed at the service tonight

The lady that checked me in my hotel recommended The Pikey for dinner, supported by these Yelp reviews. Maybe for locals, this is the go-to spot. But in reality, it's just your typical Irish bar. TV's everywhere, Irish bar vibes, Irish bar setup. They have a unique selection of burgers and your standard beers. No local beers on tap, which was disappointing. Burgers seemed to have really fresh ingredients, which was a plus. Service was fast and efficient. Another plus: get the jalapeno ranch sauce as a side. I've had spicy ranch sauces before, but this one they serve here def took the spiciest I've ever had. Don't be fooled by the yelp burger pics; they are pretty standard size and not as big as they look on photos. I upgraded to onion rings for my side for $2. I got 4.5 rings (the .5 was a little fried onion stibble no larger than my Apple Watch). For what I got in my $17 burger and onion rings, its overpriced. Those are San Francisco prices for nothing particularly special. I wouldn't consider Klamouth Falls as a culinary hotspot, but I was sure I could have done better for a weekday dinner.

Amazing burgers & lively staff. 10+ out of 10! I am a spicy eater & had the hottest fiery burger on the menu. Out of this world delicious and not too hot for me Best homemade fries I have ever had in my life

I ate at the Pikey today. I'm in a wheelchair and all their tables are the high bar type tables no accommodations for people who are unable to walk. Will never eat there again or recommend them to anyone. In thos world that worries about inclusion they missed the bus

We stopped for dinner at Pikey on our way north. Devin, the bartender, promptly greeted us, delivered menu, dropped off water. Service was prompt, friendly, and professional. Food was AMAZING. My husband and I both come from the service industry and frequent restaurants from dive bars to fine dining. This was by far the most pleasant experience we've had in a restaurant since before COVID! It is refreshing to see people who are good at their job and enjoy doing it! Faith in humanity was restored tonight!!!

We had take out tonight and we both loved the delicious food. I had bangers and mash with onion gravy which was just the homey comfort food I was looking for. My wife had the bacon blue cheese burger and it was delicious, per her grunting! Staff was very accommodating, taking our order over the phone before they were even open. Staff was friendly too. Definitely gets a big thumbs up!!
