The Best Pizza in Nashville | Eater Nashville

"The Pizzeria at Frankies is the most casual of the Frankies’ outposts (i.e. it’s walk-in only — no reservations). You’ll find salads along with slices or whole pies, like the Frankies Hot topped with tomatoes, their hot sausage, mozzarella, and pecorino Romano. On the tables: shakers filled with Parmesan and red chili flakes, and paper plates to hold the pie slices. A stand-up cooler in the shop holds a few varieties of beer to accompany an order." - Ellen Fort

This review is for gluten-free options. They didn’t have gluten-free crust, so I ordered a Caesar salad without croutons and paid $15 for it. The salad was so small and seemed very cheap. It was yummy, but I was so upset that I paid $15 for a tiny salad. However, my gluten-eating husband and friend really enjoyed the pizza, which was reasonably priced at $4-$6 a slice!

my partner and i were sooo hangry after a long weekend of moving into a nearby neighborhood. we decided to give Frankie’s a try after a coworker recommended it to us, and i am so glad we did. I am from ny and am picky about my pizza, but the pizza here came quickly, and was perfectly balanced in terms of toppings. And that CRUST. Oh my god. I also got a salad and tiramisu, both of which were delicious. I literally licked the tiramisu plate clean. and gustaffo at the front counter was so sweet!!!! we will be back. thank you frankie’s!!!

The poor service really set a tone for our visit. The staff just seemed cold and uninterested in being hospitable, and didn’t seem to take any pride their shop. The pizza was really good flavor wise and I could see it having the potential to be great, however none of the slices we got were heated much beyond room temp. $15 little Caesar salad in a plastic to-go container wasn’t the best move either. When we go back, I’d opt for a whole pizza vs. by the slice and see if that’s a better experience. The flavors really were good all around, and you could tell the ingredients were high quality.

I've been wanting to check out The Pizzeria at Frankie's for awhile, and today was the day. I had a slice of the Classic pizza, and it was perfect: thin crust with just the right amount of salty cheese and a slightly sweet tomato sauce. The edge crust was super yummy - surprisingly so. It had a nice chewy texture and was flavorful. The pizza put me in a good mood, so I decided to grab some tiramisu for later on. :) The guy working at the counter was very friendly and welcoming. I'd definitely recommend The Pizzeria for a quick, easy, and tasty lunch if you're in East!

Google
I was shocked at how mid the pizza was. Utterly mediocre. All of it. Having had it before I was excited to come back, but probably will not give this another chance…We ordered 4 different styles…the crust was great. Whatever they’ve done with the cheese and toppings is wildly not what it was 3-4 months ago. There are easily 10 better pizza spots in Nashville..half of the chains are better than Frankie’s. Crazy.

Google
This may be the best pizza in Nashville, staff was accommodating and did I mention the pizza? So good, can’t wait to come back.

I had a terrible experience at both of these places. We arrived at the pizzeria, only to find there was no seating available, which was frustrating enough. We then tried to head next door to the neighboring restaurant, also owned by the same person, to ask if we could sit there. To our shock, they refused to seat us, claiming they don’t allow pizzas in their restaurant! How is it possible that the same owner runs two places and can’t figure out a way to accommodate customers looking to eat pizza? Totally ridiculous and frustrating. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend either spot to anyone looking for a decent dining experience.

Edit: After my recent poor experience at Frankie's the owner reached out to me personally, thanked me for my feedback and stated that these issues will be addressed with the team, included the senior chef recapping the fundamentals of great pizza. He then offered me a free pizza which we enjoyed on Wednesday night. The pizzas here are classic New York. Big, rich and with simple toppings and good ingredients. Perfect for slices and parties. Maybe a little to much food for just my wife and I to eat in front of the TV. Everyone, try the classic Sicilian! That is the real winner. I greatly appreciated the follow up from Frankie's and remain a big fan. I go to Frankie's fairly regularly for slices, and especially enjoy the classic Sicilian slice, though I get board of the very small, basic menu sometimes. I love the Bodega and the attached Sputino restaurant, which is a very classy high end, high quality eatery. The pizzeria carries a comparable reputation which on most occasions I feel has been justified. I've been looking for an opportunity to show my wife how good Frankie's pizza is, but tonight the opposite happened. We walked over to Frankie's after a long black Friday shift excited to pick up a cheese pizza, but what we got was honestly one of the worst pizzas we have ever had. It was overcooked to the point of being dried out. Patches of the cheese were burnt black, hard and bitter, much of the underneath was black and it was difficult to eat. It looked nothing like any slice I've had. To make it worse this pizza was $29 with tax, which is incredibly expensive for a cheese pizza. Possible the most I've ever paid. The pizzeria was not busy. Ours was the only order they were preparing while they blasted loud music and sung songs together round the back. I'm happy to see employees have fun, but not at the expense of quality. For a place with such esteem, attached to such a high quality restaurant, I expect better. On this occasion I don't think it's harsh to say I would have enjoyed a frozen pizza from Kroger more. I will go back for the Sicilian slice, but I won't risk wasting another $29 on a full pizza.

Yelp
This is going to be an odd review. This is about 925 not the pizza place, the pizza place phenomenal. I've been twice now. Both times the service was horrible, slow, pretentious. Almost annoyed that you're there. (Except this one girl I wish I knew her name she worked tonight and had a Frankie's blue shirt on. Wish she was my server every time, but she wasn't she just brought our boxed up food at the end) Also they charge for bread like 6 bucks, think I paid 12 all together, but it's worth it. Now more importantly, the food. The food is worth every bit. I had a 545 reservation tonight and I wish I had two more hours to eat there. I could just sit and enjoy it from open to close it's that good. We had the bread, mozzarella platter (slightly wetter than the first time I went but still fire) Wife had beets. Highlight of the meal, ravioli (also wetter than last time but still perfect) I had the sausage brown butter. Daughter had egg plant parm. Really I would love to say this place sucks people are rude etc never coming back. But the food is so damn good it's worth it. First time I came in they were closing early it was our anniversary and I love the pizza place so I wanted to try the restaurant. It was amazing. Again horrible service. But amazing food. They closed early for a private party or something I can't remember. Didn't affect us because we were quick to eat and sat at the bar. But this one guy came in while we were eating and almost got in a fight with the hostess because he sat there for 15 minutes before being greeted. And then the hostess was like we close in 20 mins. No where was it posted guy was pretty ticked. To us it was dinner and a show. But hey sometimes you close early. Chefs are also really nice: should add that. Chefs there are very kind and grateful. Hopefully the waitstaff don't recognize me after posting this. I mean it's a five star review. All I'm saying is if you go here expect Unwelcomed hospitality hahaha. Amazing food.

Yelp
We got frankie's big green salad, bread and olive oil, zephyr squash with pesto, silver queen corn ravioli with crispy prosciutto and lemon, and linguine with spicy marinara and Alabama blue crab. The salad was ok. It was a little too zesty for me. The bread and oil were just regular bread and olive oil. The zephyr squash with pesto is a cold dish and was really good. The silver queen corn ravioli with crispy prosciutto and lemon was good too. I didn't think the prosciutto was gonna be in small bits but the pasta itself was refreshing. The linguine with spicy marinara and Alabama blue crab was also tasty. It wasn't spicy to me and had a decent amount of blue crab. Generally speaking, Frankie's is light and refreshing - how real Italian food in Italy tastes. Service was also good.

Yelp
We made a reservation for 4 people for a Sunday brunch for 11am opening time. We arrived and were taken to spacious booth for our party. We were the only people there upon arrival so it was pleasant and quiet. The server Casey was very nice and answered all of our questions and provided recommendations to those of us who were undecided on entrées. Our table enjoyed the fresh mozzarella appetizer and stuffed mushrooms. The mozzarella was awesome and mushrooms were delicious however very small. My father in law ordered pastrami hash with scrambled eggs and housed it down without a sound upon one spoon full. My wife and mother in law ordered the eggs Benedict which was also devoured fairly quickly. I enjoyed the Italian tuna with arugula on focaccia bread. We stoped at the bodega across the street to purchase some olive oil as it was a huge star in the food. We will be back to try dinner next.

Yelp
Frankie's is a little off the beaten path in east Nashville but well worth seeking out. I have only tried the pizzeria but it is top tier. Serving up whole pies and slices it has skyrocketed up my list of best pizza in Nashville. The under the radar show stopped here though is the Sicilian pizza. The thick but light and airy crust is a huge differentiator that Nashville has been missing. It's a must try.

Yelp
Five stars off the food alone. I've never had gnocchi like that before even after spending over a month in Italy. It just melts in your mouth it is so delicious. The caesar salad was incredible. I loved the way the cheese was shredded as opposed to the traditional largely grated chunks of Parmesan. They have an attached pizza place that has patio seating as well as the restaurant. Low lighting and candles at every table, would be a good spot for a date night. Our server was not very attentive despite it being a slow Sunday night but overall good experience because of the food.

Yelp
Frankie's is genuinely one of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood. The service is so fantastic, the servers remember us from previous visits, the food is INSANELY good (the sausage sage pasta...swooon) and the wine list is also so wonderful. It's beautiful inside with tons of parking, and would be perfect for a casual date night or to bring out of town friends to.

Yelp
Such a great gem in the little corner of East Nashville. Free parking is a huge benefit. Dined at the restaurant (not pizzeria). Loved the minimalist look of the interior. Service was attentive and friendly. Olio Martini - vodka, added a twist. Came to the table almost at room temp...Needed to be shaken a few more times to get that super cold crisp feel. I added ice. It was good Mozzarella plate - love love loved this! Fresh bread was a great complement Gnocchi - super dense pillows. Sauce was light and flavorful. Chicken Scarpariello - absolutely loved this dish!! The sauce has a good punch. Sausage delicious. Just enough polenta. Will be back to try other dishes. And will need to check out the pizzeria next door.

Yelp
I've been on a foodie tour in Nashville and today was no different. I had a pasta craving and did a quick Google search for a place nearby. Frankie's was an immediate yes based on their website and having two restaurants to choose from. I'd been at a coffee shop getting some work done so I was in yoga pants and a t-shirt. I wondered if I might not meet a dress code by entering 925 Spuntino so I was prepared for having to opt for pizza at their Pizzeria. But no dress code and plenty of seats at the bar meant I could indulge in the pasta of my choice. It's a swanky spot but appeals to the casual dresser. Shout out to the bartender who graciously answered my question about the most popular menu items. I went with the Cavatelli with Hot Sausage and Browned Sage Butter. Oh. My. Gosh! The flavor and temperature were perfect. Not to mention the bartender paired my wine perfectly. The dish looks like a small serving but it's so filling. (Note: I didn't have an appetizer and was too full for dessert.) This will definitely be a place I bring family and friends when they come in town.

Yelp
My new favorite pizza joint! And yes, they sell pizza by the slice! Along with a $10 Lunch Special (2 slices & a drink)! Came for lunch and was amazed to find a Frankies 925 Italian Compound on this corner that includes a pizzeria, a sit down restaurant, and a fresh foods market. I visited the Pizzeria. Staff were super nice and helpful. They carefully described the available pizza slices. I opted for 1 Lucia (olives, red onion, garlic) and 1 Frankies Hot (with delicious hot sausage) on the lunch special. I also supplemented with a slice of Pepperoni Sicilian. The 2 items that really stand out (and my mouth is watering as I write this) are: 1. The Crust. Both the thin and the Sicilian crusts were delicious and cooked perfectly. They are the crusts pizza lovers like me dream about. 2. The Sauce. So delicious! The Bianco DiNapoli Tomatoes give your mouth that tangy and slightly sweet flavor everybody loves. All 3 slices were fantastic. I'll give the Lucia my nod as the best and that's the one I'd strongly recommend you try. But again, let me say, you will enjoy all of the pizza here. I highly recommend Frankies Pizzeria and I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
In our quest to taste every slice in Nashville, we happened upon Frankie's when the pizza craving struck. Upon arrival, we initially walked into Frankie's 925, which was a beautiful space with wonderful service and a tasty menu, however we were after pizza which the menu excluded, so we ended up popping next door and ordering a few slices and salads. While Frankie's is a walk-up/counter based spot, they do have a few tables inside, but the patio is where it is at. They have string lights set up, a water station and several tables. While outside was cool, they could use some music or something out there. Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the pizza! We grabbed a variety of slices including the classic pepperoni, the contentious ham and pineapple, and my favorite, a pepperoni Sicilian slice. And let's not forget about the Caesar salads - while premade, they were surprisingly delicious, and the dressing was undoubtedly the highlight. I will say $14 is a bit much, but not gonna lie, I will order it again. While the pies were phenomenal, what truly sets Frankie's apart is their exceptional service. Despite arriving within an hour of closing, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we left with full bellies. When we went back in to order a slice to go, they tossed a few extra slices in the box, which was pretty cool! Overall, Frankie's Pizza is a gem of a spot that combines delectable food, inviting ambiance, and top-notch service. Whether you're a pizza aficionado or simply craving a solid slice, Frankie's has you covered. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Very confusing concept. Made reservations and sat down to realize they don't serve pizza in the restaurant. The fam wanted to try the pizza so we awkwardly got up to go next door where the pizza is more of a take out place. Sucks they don't serve pizza at the restaurant and pasta and such at the pizza joint. Anyway, looks like ordering ahead online is the way to go because we had to wait over an hour after ordering and it wasn't that busy. Guy said it would be 30 min. I finally go up to register and the pizza is nowhere to be found. They start looking in take out boxes and the guy tried to give me a pepperoni that did not look fresh. We also had onions and the guy acts confused. No sorry, just we've been busy. I said can you at least warm it up - no onions and pep like we ordered . Brings it to us in a box where other dine ins had it on the tray. Pizza was mid because it was sitting god knows how long in a box that wasn't even our pizza. Really disappointing and especially how they handled it. No sorry, no nothing. We even gave a good tip when we ordered.

Yelp
Frankie's, nestled in edge of East Nashville, pulls off a solid 7 out of 10 on my scale. Service was a highlight, our waitress was fantastic in every way possible. The heroes of the menu-Burrata that melts in your mouth, fresh bread, and a delectable assortment of meats and cheeses, all an impressive 9 out of 10. Unfortunately , it's not all high marks. The meatballs were a big letdown. Too firm for any self-respecting Italian and poorly seasoned, the red sauce was as bland as a mid-winter tomato. The true letdown was the shrimp scampi. The baby shrimp were a far cry from what you'd expect in a dish that should sing the song of the sea, they were more a frozen whisper of the industrial kind. Paired with spaghetti that had surrendered all al dente aspirations, it's a dish that was not only precooked in spirit but mushy in form. Not the fresh pasta affair one would hope for from Frankie's. On the brighter side, the gnocchi draped in brown butter sage sauce was a comforting save. Hard to mess up when it's simple and done right. Frankie's may be the best of Italian cuisine in Nashville, remember, in the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king. Frankie's stands out more for the lack of stiff competition than for its culinary prowess. A good spot, yes, but it leaves you longing for that authentic North East style Italian flavor.

Yelp
Our waiter Patterson was awesome and way too knowledgeable--if that's a thing ‍ meatballs were a 9, the sweet potato ravioli was a hit as well. Had the Caesar salad - which was VERY GOOD.... And I rarely order Caesar because it's always MEH. BUT this Caesar was a 10, hands down. Highly recommend but I hesitate that it will Get too crowded...so only go occasionally, please:)

Yelp
The pizza side is perfect. Delicious. Great service. Excellent sauce. The restaurant side is lovely and open but could use more character (color, lively celebratory music, etc.). And I was so excited to try their marinara after having that delicious pizza sauce. Different chefs? Everything else was great, but the red sauce was lacking seasoning and needed a lot more time to reduce. Amazing Italian food takes time. Take the time!

Yelp
Went for the first time last night and sat at the bar. Hostess was very nice and bartender James was very kind, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. My husband and I both branched out and got dishes the bartender recommended. We will definitely be going back. So good.

Yelp
I'm a critic of cesar salads and this was the best one I've ever had in my life. I haven't had one this good since I was in Seattle 10 years ago. Good portions and service too.

Yelp
I've had a great experience every time I've gone. First time I went was the Sunday of opening weekend. Overall a very relaxed ambiance with the outdoor patio [definitely wear/bring bug spray if you eat on the patio during the summer!]. I got a slice of the pepperoni pizza, it was was simple and delicious. Fresh ingredients and a great pizza crust. I'll definitely be back to explore more options on the menu.

Yelp
As regular readers of my reviews know, I'm a native New Yorker, and I don't take my Italian food lightly. I'm a very tough grader, and don't eat Italian food out much in Nashville because I can make better food in my kitchen. I'm willing to make an exception for Frankie's. I'm a fan of their original location on Court Street in Brooklyn. The Music City version compares admirably. The room is understated modern. Tables are well spaced. Service was, frankly speaking, Nashville "I'm really a songwriter" standard. Not terrible, but not great. The server had a hard time understanding the names of some of the dishes on the menu when we ordered; maybe it was his first night? We wanted to start with bread and olive oil. He told us they were "out". 30 mins later, he came by and told us "they found more bread". Interesting. The bread the served us was definitely not the advertised Belle Chasse sourdough; it was small portion of their pizza dough. We saw baskets of the Belle Chasse bread being served; our bread plate, by comparison, contained about 20% of what they served other diners. Seems unreasonable; but, then again, my mom always said "don't fill up on the bread"! The starters of the antipasto, burrata, and a plate of roasted peppers were wonderful; however, we noticed something that became a trend. The portions are small; much smaller than in Brooklyn. I'd go so far as to say that the portions are just a bit bigger than those served in "small plates/tapas style" restaurants. I recommend that you order accordingly. We got 2 apps and 4 mains for our table of 6 and weren't stuffed. If we'd known that the mains were on the smaller side, we might have ordered more. The quality of the meats and cheese on the antipasto plate were first rate, though, for sure. For our mains, we got meatballs, short ribs over polenta, pappardelle with lamb ragu, and the cavatelli with hot sausage and browned sage butters. All mains were 5 stars; the meatballs (and the ragu they were served in) are a shining example of the dish, and no one in Nashville comes close. The pappardelle was some of the best pasta I've eaten in a long time, and the lamb ragu was superb. The cavatelli was outstanding as well; the short ribs were great but not as great as the rest. We brought our own bottle of wine, with a $30 corkage charge; their wine list is long and interesting and next time we might order a bottle. The total for 4 (including corkage and tip) was $300. Totally worth it for the quality and taste; maybe a tad overpriced for the portion size. Still, some of the best Southern Italian food in Nashville. We will definitely be back. P.S. we gobbled the food so fast that we didn't have time for pics. Next time!

Yelp
From the moment you walk in, you feel at ease. Delicious smells, music that's not too loud, warm decor, and comfortable seating makes this the perfect place for some innovative and delicious Italian dining. The cocktail was powerful, smoky, and well crafted. The Caesar Salad was as good as I've had. And the Sweet Potato ravioli was light, clean, and flavorful. Lastly, the service was just the right kind of attentive. Can't wait to return.

Yelp
This review is for the restaurant side. Our first visit to Frankies was for the block party and we loved it! The pizza hit the spot, especially the sauce. We took the slices over to the restaurant side and I was so excited. Red checkered tables clothes, classic, simple, everything I had been missing since leaving NJ. Fast forward a month and we head back to the restaurant for a date night. Where were the table clothes? Is that country music they're playing? What in the world did I step into? After being seated at a tiny table right up against the 5 other diners in a mostly empty restaurant I was stumped. Why are we squeezed in here? Also, this place has an identity crisis. Looking around, I could have been sitting in a German restaurant about to drink a large frosty beer OR it could be a British pub about to send out fish and chips OR it could be a nicer fish house. Nothing told me it was Italian. I will be honest, when I heard it was coming from NY, I was expecting the good ole Italian American experience. I got none of it. Down to offering pepper for our Caesar and plopping it down on the table instead of cranking it table-side to the music. It felt very 2009 Nashville aka Nashville isn't ready for the full experience so here is a very watered down version of it. Also, for the love of god, do not tax on the outside. The bill had state, county, and liquor on it! Just bake it into the cost! It's super disappointing because the food was excellent! The shrimp scampi? Incredible! Caesar? Crème brûlée? Polenta? Delicious! The service? The waitress was really kind and helpful when selecting wine! What I would love to see for Frankies is for them to LEAN IN! The ambiance is just so bland. Northeast Italian American culture is fun, loud, boisterous, classic, etc. and food/eating together is so central to it. Put out the tablecloths, give us the music, get out the huge peppermill, add some artwork/color, and liven the place up! FWIW, the pizza side is perfection. Don't ever change.

Yelp
This was our first time trying and it's an easy 5 stars! Our server was super friendly and helpful. Our entrees were the Cavatelli and Chicken Scapariello and they were very rich and flavorful. The ambiance was very cozy with a mixture of fun r&b and hop hop music from the 2000's (random but super fun) looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes!

Yelp
I was a fan of their West Village location because of their amazing pasta dishes until it closed. So I was very happy when I found out that they opened in Nashville since it is a city known for having great food. They have a most knowledgeable bartender that can make anything, even a Sazerac! Food: the sweet corn ravioli with crispy prosciutto is a must have. This is one of the best restaurants in this city. I strongly recommend it to everyone.

Yelp
Let me paint you a picture of Frankie's: on one side, you've got the pizza joint dishing out Sicilian slices that make you question whether you've died and gone to pizza heaven. Seriously, I've had dreams about their pizza. Across the street, you've got the store, like a diamond in the rough, just waiting to shine, good bones but it's like watching a toddler take its first steps - you can see the potential, but there's still a bit of stumbling involved. I think they could be great but still some work to do. The real reason I came here to talk about them the star of the show - Frankie's sauce. I'm talking the best sauce in Nashville, hands down. As a proud Jerseyite who's done their fair share of NYC living, I know good sauce when I taste it, and Frankie's delivers. And those meatballs? Don't even get me started. They're the Beyoncé of meatballs - flawless. So do yourself a favor and try Frankie's. You will thank me.... Just bring your stretchy pants.

Yelp
I've been here several times now, and I still don't fully get it. There's the fine dining restaurant, but you can't order the pizza if you eat there. Then there's the pizza place next door, where you can order food from the fancy dining kitchen, but then you're not allowed to eat the food on site, so you have to order it to go. They've been pretty busy every time I've gone, so the service always leaves a little something to be desired. The food is tasty, but pricey. Guess that's the "new nashville" for ya.

Yelp
This place has major potential but I think they are still working out the kinks. Not sure if they can handle the volume with all the hype currently. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and a cheese slice while I waited for my pizza. The slice was absolute mush. No structure at all and could only eat it by folding the slice in half. I had my doubts but wanted to wait to get my whole pizza till I actually judged the place. As you can see from the picture, the pizza I received was stretched too thin to where there is actual holes in the bottom crust. It is also completely burnt. I like some good char, but this was burnt. Disappointing for a $32 pizza. I'll probably give this place another try because the flavor was good, if only the pizza was built and cooked properly. Proceed with caution. Edit: Hopefully Frankies sees this review. This is more of a challenge to the business than a critique. Nashville needs a really good pizza spot because it's options are severely lacking now.

Yelp
Nashville is so lucky to have this place! I lived in NYC within walking distance of the OG Frankie's 457 and Prime Meats and there were no better restaurants in the city in terms of the combination of incredibly high level food being presented in an unpretentious way, vibe, service and price, which was wasn't cheap, but was fair considering that the quality of the food was truly a cut above. The Nashville location is killing it as well and I'm surprised that it flew under my radar for so long. Anyway, I'm happy to be spreading the word now. If you love Italian food, I promise you - there is no better option in Music City.

Yelp
We brought my parents to Frankie's and it was amazing! Make sure to do the Mozzarella tasting because it is excellent. Beautiful and clean dining space with a gorgeous wine room. Service was top notch and our Sommelier made a perfect choice for a red that would go with shrimp scampi and marinara. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
I can't say enough amazing things about this place. My family went to Frankie's on 4th of July weekend as our big dinner outing (my Italian boyfriend was with us for verification reasons haha). Based on the reviews, I was a little skeptical but I was so so wrong. We all thought our waitress was a comedian on the side because she was so fun and bubbly. We loved the pizza dough when it was served as our bread, a bit more than the their regular bread basket. The Caesar salad was amazing along with the bufala and meatballs. Our favorites of the night were the hot sausage cavatelli and the chicken scarpariello!! These two were to die for and absolute must orders. When it came to desserts, we thought it couldn't get any better but WOW. I am still thinking about the ricotta cheesecake and tiramisu. We also got the prunes and marscapone, but we all agreed that we liked the others a little more. Frankie's is great and we will surely be returning soon!

Yelp
Service was great. Food also was very good. They had a dessert that I found terrific. Prunes in a warm sauce surrounded by marscarpone cheese.

Yelp
Excellent experience. I went a few weeks after opening and they are still working out some service kinks, but the service was still good. Food was superb. Burrata is amongst the best I've had in Nashville, meatballs are fire, and the sage brown butter pasta was fabulous. The quality of the pasta is top tier. Also their branded olive oil is so good we bought some from Amazon.

Yelp
We went to Frankie's last night for the first (and definitely not the last) time. We were quickly seated and soon enjoyed great cocktails, wine, and some of the best Prosciutto I've ever had! It was 24 month aged and super flavorful. We then had arguably the best Caesar salad I've had in years! The gnocchi was next along with the squash soup which was amazing. We wrapped up the night with some more wine and Crème Brûlée. Service was friendly and prompt, but the most notable part of our experience was how fresh everything was. Great recipes, good ingredients, and knowledgeable staff. We'll be back!

Yelp
Absolutely a lovely place! I was so impressed with the freshness of each item. The prosciutto was amazing. Literally melts in your mouth. The wine was on point and the cocktails were amazing. The best way to describe the entire experience was, thoughtful. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys excellent, fresh, well thought out food.

Yelp
There are two restaurants at this location & a market. They are all under the same company: Frankies. For clarification, the pizzeria is the only restaurant that serves pizza. The other restaurant next door does not. However, they do have other dishes such as pastas and different salads. I went to the pizzeria and the pizza was perfect! We also had their meatballs and Caesar salad. I will definitely be returning! There is seating available inside and outside. The service was alright. The pizzeria is more casual. The restaurant is more upscale.

Yelp
I love the ambiance of this new place. We started off with bread and Frankie's oil. Let me tell you, the bread and oil was Buono. LIKE SOOOO BUONO. As it's the opening weekend, service was alright, but I know they will fix it up in no time. Everything was delicious. We had the broccoli appetizer and my husband loved it. We also had the Sweet Potato Ravioli in a Parmesan Broth- just something sooo good especially the broth. We also had the Marinara Gnocchi with Riccota and that was also just amazing. We thought we weren't full, but after 5 minutes of eating the above, we were stuffed. We got the chocolate tarte to go and im telling you, everything here was perfect. Best Italian in Nashville.

Yelp
Absolutely loved going to Frankie's! The pizzeria was amazing and had a beautiful outdoor seating area. The pepperoni was my favorite and I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
We thoroughly enjoyed the food at Frankie's! Everything cooked to perfection! The service was fine as had a new server only one month on the job. The ambiance is cool and allows for spacious dining experience.

Yelp
First time here with friends. Every item we received exceeded expectations. The quality and love put into each dish was very clear. Chef Daniel and our server Nate were more than hospitable. Great job everyone and team. Will be returning sooner than later

Yelp
This place is a DREAM come true in Nashville. The quality and taste of their pizza is truly to die for. The crust is perfectly chewy. The sauce is tangy but not over the top. Just the right amount of cheese too. We live up the street from this spot and have walked to grab a slice too many times to count now... Haha. Do yourself a favor and EAT HERE. PS their Sicilian pizza is also AMAZING. EVEN BETTER than Prince Street Pizza in New York (in my opinion!)

Yelp
We we visiting Nashville for our 45th anniversary. Can't recollect how I found this 10 day just opened gem. So happy we spent time for a great dinner here. If they have any opening bugs to work out, we didn't see any! Great all around for all the choices we shared. Terrific server, wish I could remember her name. Hope to return on every visit from now on.

Yelp
The pizza from the pizzeria is great, but I think it's a little pricy for a slice. I wouldn't consider buying a whole pie due to the price. The salads are super underwhelming for the price. Frankie's Italian is pretty good! Very simple and authentic recipes. The service was pleasant! Restaurant gets loud with acoustics. Pricy as well for what you get. The ambiance is "warehouse chic" not much going on in either the pizza shop or the restaurant.

Yelp
Love this spot! It was empty when we came in on a Thursday night, which I was surprised by. I ordered the pepperoni and the Frankie's pizza, both were great. The real highlight of my meal was the tiramisu- TO DIE FOR!

Yelp
Server was great. Food lacked flavor and intention. For the price I expected high end Italian. We ordered Bread Caesar salad Meatball Pasta Cold ribeye Gnocchi Cheesecake Another chocolate dessert I would only ever purchase the bread again. Aesthetically Bathrooms were that of a hallway bathroom in an office buildings common area Seating was hard on my butt Loved the low lighting Enjoyed the openness Neighborhood is still under construction (out of their control) so trash dumpster and things out front

Yelp
We are Italians from New York. We will never go anywhere else for pizza. THIS IS THE REAL DEAL!!!! Enough said!!

Yelp
Pasta was well cooked but the sauce was flavorless and over salted. The drinks are watered down and overpriced. For a party of six with one child, five adults, five entrees, two side dishes, two deserts, and three drinks, a bill for 250.00, minus tip was way over priced for a mediocre product.

Yelp
Our server was so helpful as we were a party of six, two of which were kids. We ordered a little bit of everything and it was served, as we requested, family style. The service was fabulous and the food was all delicious. We will definitely be back again!

Yelp
A true Italian restaurant in Nashville, great place to sit ,eat drink, and visit with family and friends.everything that we (7 people) ordered was great. Cocktails and plenty of vino. They have a great wine list. The appetizers were fun and tasty. We really enjoyed all our entrees. Finally we had dessert,we weren't disappointed. I think I will return often.
